RPK come home,Malaysians needs you.....

The Deputy Prime Minister was asked if the timing and the arrest of Raja Petra Kamarudin (RPK) who has been charged for sedition would make the Government look unpopular.” I do not think so. We have to draw the line between what is right and wrong," Datuk Seri Najib said. "This is not politically-motivated." he said.

But the Interim Council National Alliance of Bloggers thinks otherwise......

"We are seated here in solidarity for fellow writers and bloggers to make our stand on similar action that may be taken against other writers and journalists in future," said Interim Council National Alliance of Bloggers president Ahirudin Attan. "This move is politically motivated and aimed at silencing a principled and uncompromising voice speaking against the abuse of power," he said in a group statement. "We urge the government to re-consider its actions what is being perceived to be blatantly selective and repressive persecution.” In our view the sedition charge is malicious and without merit," he said.

Meanwhile......

Raja Petra Kamaruddin - presently in jail for refusing to pay bail - has rejected all contact with the outside world including his own wife, Marina Lee Abdullah. Marina when contacted this morning said she had gone to the Sungai Buloh prison to meet Raja Petra and to ask him if he would want to post bail today. Marina added she was informed by the police that Raja Petra is apparently on hunger strike. "The police told me that he refused to eat," lamented Marina. "He is on a hunger strike. It is a protest," she told AFP. "The last time he did this, his liver was damaged. I don't think he is going to last that long."

After having failed to meet him on her first visit earlier in the morning, Marina Lee Abdullah tried again at 12.30pm. But Raja Petra still declined to see his wife, who was accompanied by their 19-year-old daughter and lawyer Matthias Chang. However, she managed to deliver the spectacles he had requested earlier, via a prison warden.

Raja Petra got his reason for rejecting bail, and he could be stubborn at times but at least he should take care of his health. Just accept bail and come out and be free to do battle by giving the public a piece of your mind about the gomen, rather than languishing behind bars for nothing.

You can do better things from the outside, rather to be lingering around the four corners of your little "room" there. Come out and share your mind with us. RPK, Malaysians needs you, so do your beloved family.

cheers.
