Tak dak GST & BR1M diteruskan kalu Putrajaya ditawan...

Lim janji teruskan BR1M, hapus GST jika tawan Putrajaya...

Guan Eng promises BR1M, end to GST under Harapan...

DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng has promised that if Pakatan Harapan took over Putrajaya, the rakyat will continue to receive handouts while enjoying a lower cost of living thanks to good governance.

"Under Harapan, Malaysians do not need to hold at least two jobs to survive.

"Harapan will lighten the burden of 30 million Malaysians by abolishing the goods and services tax.

"Malaysians can still afford to receive 1Malaysia People's Aid (BR1M) payouts without the GST by running a clean government and conducting open competitive tenders," Lim said in his new year's address today.

In the message posted on his official Facebook page, Lim said that BN has only made the economic situation worse through its "failed economic management."

He then took aim at Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister Ahmad Maslan’s remarks that Malaysians need two jobs to sustain themselves.

He said this showed how disconnected Ahmad was from the rest of Malaysians.

Lim also slammed Ahmad for dragging his name into the two jobs fiasco.

"Even though I wear many hats in my various responsibilities in the government and to my political party, I have only one job – that is to serve the people," he said.

Lim was responding to Ahmad saying that the former held three jobs as MP, assemblyperson, and chief minister.

"The time has come for Malaysians to put BN leaders like Ahmad out of their jobs, so we can live with economic dignity with one job and choose with our own free will or volition if we wish to work two jobs.

"Malaysians do not deserve such economic servitude from BN.

"BN must be replaced in the next general election so that we do not become economic refugees or economic slaves in our own country," he stressed.- mk

BN sanggup gadai tanah demi selamatkan Najib & 1MDB...

“Inilah kehebatan kerajaan UMNO/BN.

“Hebat Malaysia berniaga sampai tutup kedai dan jual tanah. Jangan pula lepas ni jual orang! Mari kita lihat siapa yang kena.

“Teringat orang tua-tua dulu terpaksa bergolok bergadai jual tanah kebun dan dusun untuk kehidupan,” katanya. - fmt

Rafizi dakwa aset negara dijual untuk kambus hutang 1MDB

Is selling national assets to resolve 1MDB’s debts a ‘success’...

PAS MP Mahfuz Omar has hit out at Prime Minister Najib Razak over the way the debts of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) have been supposedly resolved.

In a statement, the Pokok Sena MP sarcastically congratulated Najib over his success at reducing 1MDB’s RM40 billion debts in six months.

“In six months, Najib has fulfilled his promise that 1MDB’s debts will be resolved, this is a great success for him.

“Surely, the nation’s 30 million people are proud and happy that they enter 2016 free of 1MDB’s debts through the sale of Edra Energy and a stake in Bandar Malaysia given to foreign companies with interests in China.”

Mahfuz said that 1MDB, a company owned by the Umno-BN led government, sold assets to cover its debts and save Najib when it was supposedly set up to benefit the country and its people instead.

“The government sold land at a cheap price to 1MDB to develop Bandar Malaysia but instead, 1MDB is selling it to a company with interests in China.

“What should be a simple business has seen bad deals and investments which led to debts which are settled through the sales of assets. Problem solved!

“This is the greatness of the Umno-BN (Barisan Nasional) government,” he said, drawing similarity to Malaysia Airlines (MAS).”

He said in the case of MAS, buildings and jets were sold and then rented back, while the old company came to an end and a new one was established resulting in many employees losing their jobs.

“We are indeed great in doing business to the point that we sell our land and sack employees.

“What if in the future people are being sold!” - fmt
