Penglipur lara PAS kitar semula dongeng lama UMNO...

Maklumlah ini zaman era baru kerjasama ‘you help me i help you’.

“Atau adakah Zuhdi diarahkan oleh UMNO? Dia merupakan insan yang sangat bertuah kerana walaupun bertahun-tahun menjadi Pengarah Strategi Pas, dia masih diboleh mengajar di universiti kerajaan UMNO.

“Sangat istimewa kedudukannya. Seperti dikatakan oleh Datuk (Seri) Najib (Tun Razak) dahulu, ‘you help me, i help you,” katanya menerusi satu kenyataan pada Sabtu.

DAP vows to exact heavy price in court over ‘Israeli’ claim...

DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang has promised a "heavy price in court" for those behind the allegation that Israel offered the opposition party RM1.2 billion in exchange for a naval base in Port Dickson.

"Senior political leaders from other political parties who lied about the DAP, like the one who made the preposterous allegation about the DAP being offered RM1.2 billion in exchange for an Israeli naval base in Port Dickson, will have to pay the heavy price for such baseless and reckless allegations in the courts.

"I expect DAP lawyers to initiate legal proceedings in a day or two," he said at a political dinner function last night.

Lim described the allegation, where the money was given to DAP to fight the 2013 general election in return for Israel to build a military base in Port Dickson should it win power, as "political desperation".

The allegation was made by PAS research centre director Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki but Lim did not name names or mention DAP’s former ally.

Instead, Lim went on to lament PAS without its spiritual leader, Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat.

"We all miss the leadership and guidance of Tok Guru Nik Aziz... for if he is still with us today, his voice would be heard loud and clear denouncing the rampant corruption, widespread injustices and abuses of power as represented by Najib’s RM2.6 billion donation and RM55 billion 1MDB twin mega scandals and calling for national reform," said Lim.

Lim also slammed PM Najib Razak's New Year message where he declared an end to the twin scandals following the sale of 1MDB assets to Chinese companies, describing it as another act of political desperation.

"What beggars the imagination is how Najib could make such an outrageous claim when he himself could not possibly believe it, unless he has left the real world of politics and entered the world of make-believe," said Lim. - mk

PERKASA kritik langkah terbaru 1MDB...

- mk

Malays ‘pawned’ in 1MDB quick fix, decries Perkasa...

Malaysians, particularly the Malays, have been “pawned” in 1MDB's quick-fix solution to its debt problems, laments Perkasa chief Ibrahim Ali.

"There should have been another way. Maybe they ran out of time and took a shortcut. Thus the pride and sovereignty of the rakyat, especially the Malays, have been pawned (tergadai)," Ibrahim told Malaysiakini.

He was responding to the sale of 60 percent of Bandar Malaysia for RM7.41 billion to a consortium consisting of Iskandar Waterfront Holdings Sdn Bhd (IWH) and China Railway Engineering Corporation Sdn Bhd (CREC).

This, together with 1MDB's 100 percent sale of Edra Global Energy to China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), was part of measures to reduce 1MDB's burgeoning RM42 billion debt.

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak had earlier promised to resolve the sovereign wealth fund's debt problems by the end of 2015, and proudly announced that 1MDB had now entered agreements that would slash its debts by RM40.4 billion.

Ibrahim said he was extremely disappointed by the sales, adding that it was too late to do anything about it.

He also raised concerns on what else the government would do once it signed the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA).

"We are worried that the TPPA would threaten national assets. But even without the TPPA, our land and energy are being sold to foreigners," he said.

The TPPA is a multinational free trade agreement in which the United State is a key proponent.- mk
