UMNO/BN offers RM20 million to jump ship.......

Two Pakatan Rakyat state assemblypersons today filed a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) claiming that they were offered millions to quit their respective parties and become independents or join Barisan Nasional.

According to a Bernama report, DAP's Keshvinder Singh (Malim Nawar) and PKR’s Abdul Yunus Jamsari (Kuala Kurau) filed the report at the MACC office in Ipoh.

Speaking to reporters later, Keshvinder alleged that he received various offers from numerous agents claiming to represent Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

One of the agents, he said, was a local freelance Chinese-language journalist. Among others, the DAP leader claimed that he was offered RM20 million to quit his party and declare himself as an independent as well as express support for BN.

The lawyer-turned-politician also claimed that he had received other offers such as being appointed Perak MIC chief if he chose to join the BN component party as well as being appointed as a state executive councillor.

He said the exco appointment offer was the latest since BN seized control of the state government earlier this month.

"I urge Najib to come forward and explain the matter because this shows that the federal government is corrupt and desperate," he added.

Logging concessions

Meanwhile, Abdul Yunus claimed that he was offered cash between RM3 and RM8 million. Apart from this, the PKR politician also claimed that he was offered logging concessions if he agreed to quit his party.

He alleged that the offer was made by several agents comprising businessmen who claimed to be representing the Perak leadership.

The duo were accompanied by seven Pakatan Rakyat representatives - Ramli Tusin (Semanggol), A Sivasubramaniam (Buntong), Chan Ming Kai (Simpang Pulai), Chang Lih Kang (Teja), Sum Cheok Leng (Bercham), Leong Mee Meng (Jalong) and Khalil Idham Lim Abdullah (Titi Serong).

BN took control of the state after four Pakatan Rakyat reps quit their respective parties. Three later declared themselves 'BN-friendly' independents while the other rejoined Umno.

Will they or wont they............... you guys should play smart. Let them, esp. when Najib is about delivers the RM20 million, take a few photos or video and pass it to MACC.

However with that evidence too, I doubt MACC will act. In fact MACC wont have the balls to take any action. There goes MACC short for Malaysian Agency for Cows and Cars.............

cheers.
