Harap2 Guan Eng akan peluk Islam...

Timbalan Pengarah tarbiyah Dewan Pemuda PAS Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi berkata beliau gembira dengan kerjasama politik PAS dalam Pakatan Rakyat yang menurutnya memberi lebih banyak ruang kepada parti Islam itu untuk mengembangkan agama tersebut.

Katanya, beliau berharap usaha itu akan turut membolehkan setiausaha agung DAP Lim Guan Eng untuk turut memeluk Islam.

“Memang tugas kita dakwah dengan bukan Islam. Pakatan Rakyat dan tahaluf siyasi (kerjasama politik) melebarkan ruang berdakwah.

“Sasaran kita, gunakan Pakatan sebagai ruang dakwah supaya mereka fahami Islam. Saya ada impian satu hari Lim Guan Eng ucap syahadah (memeluk Islam),” katanya lagi.-malaysiakini

PAS Youth 'dreams' of Guan Eng embracing Islam...

PAS' political cooperation with Pakatan Rakyat has provided more room for the Islamic party to spread the religion and its Youth wing hopes that one day, even DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng will embrace Islam.

"Our target is dakwah (spreading the message) so more people will understand Islam.

"I have a dream that one day Lim Guan Eng will recite the syahadah (Muslim declaration of faith)," said the wing's tarbiyah deputy director Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi.

Khalil, who is the son on PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang, was responding to issues raised by a delegate while debating the wing's 2012 annual report.

Tebrau delegate Shamsul Bakri had called on more support for the PAS supporters youth wing, which is open to non-Muslims and expand their reach beyond Muslims.

To this, Khalil admitted that the supporters' wing has many committed and sincere members who have sacrificed much for "the struggle" despite not being Muslims.

Separately, Khalil's father in his message to the Youth wing reminded them that among Islam's greatest challenge today is "fake Muslims" or the munafiqin (hyprocrites).

He explained that these people "wear the mask of Islam" as a show but have "deviant" beliefs.

"The Islamic movement across generations have had to face this group and I urge the Youth to face them boldly and intelligently," he said.-malaysiakini
