NGO Melayu mahu Tan disiasat kerana hasutan...

Gerakan suspends 'pendatang' man...
Gerakan today suspended the membership of Tan Lai Soon, the delegate who claimed Malays are also "pendatang" (immigrants).
The party also issued a show-cause letter to Tan, calling on him to explain his position within 14 days.
"We apologise on behalf of the party to all Malaysians who have been hurt by his remark.
"He should go back and ask what is the feeling of his Malay neighbours,"
Gerakan deputy president Cheah Soon Hai told a a press conference at
the party headquarters this afternoon.
As of yesterday, at least 14 members had lodged complaints to the party against Tan's remark, added Cheah (right).
While debating the Gerakan president’s policy speech yesterday, Tan said, "Let me make the positions of Malaysians clear: Malays, Chinese and Indians were all 'pendatang', except the Orang Asli, Sabahans and Sarawakians, who are the original bumiputera."
Pertubuhan Pembela Islam (Pembela), a coalition of 52 Malay-Muslim groups, said Gerakan president Mah Siew Keong should sack Tan.
Together with Persatuan Pengguna Islam Malaysia (PPIM) and Pejuang Islam Melayu Malaysia (Pewaris), they went to the Dang Wangi district police headquarters in Kuala Lumpur this morning, demanding that Tan be hauled up under the Sedition Act.
Meanwhile, online news portal The Rakyat Post reported that Tan last night apologised for his remark.
"I am profoundly sorry and had meant to say that no Malaysian should be called 'pendatang', as we are all Malaysians,” Tan was reported as telling the online news site.- mk

– tmi
Remember you are pendatang too, UMNO told...
"Let me make the positions of Malaysians clear, Malays, Chinese and Indians were all pendatang, except the Orang Asli, Sabahans and Sarawakians, who are the original bumiputera," said Johor delegate Tan Lai Soon.
"Umno members who often said Chinese were pendatang never thought that they themselves were also pendatang," said Tan(right) when debating party president Mah Siew Keong's policy speech during the Gerakan annual general meeting in Setia Alam today.
The Parit Sulong division member, however, in praising the Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's speech, which emphasised the importance of moderate politic and reiterated BN rejects all form of extremism earlier today, asked if Najib was just all rhetoric.
"Najib's speech is very good, but would he hold to his promise?" said Tan.
"This is important. If (Najib) just talked and not do anything about it.
That would be just syok (sendiri). It would be a total failure," he
said.
"Mentally ill" people caused disunity

Tan, also touched on the past leadership where the country was once peaceful and free of religious and racial problems.
The problems start in the 70s, where people realised the federal constitution was being "dismantled", he said.
Tan personally opined, there was hidden agenda in the mind of Umno leaders, caused by greed for wealth and power back then.
Tan also accused Malay rights group such as Isma and Perkasa, as well as
some highly educated people and professors, for the disunity between
the races in the country.
"Malaysians
and I think they are mentally ill, so serious that (it is) hard to
cure," he said, and only when they are gone would the country be united
and safe.
Tan said he is not concerned if the government probed him under the Sedition Act.
"When I speak the truth, why should I be scared of the government?
"We did not say something bad about the government, we just offered our views," he told KiniTV.- mk
Tetapi ia bukan kali pertama.
"Mengapa saya 'keturunan India'?
Baca sterusnya...
It's BN policies that cost Chinese votes...
DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang today said that it was ‘shocking’ that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak could claim that the Chinese votes fell dramatically during the last general election because they believe the ‘lies’ about the 40,000 Bangladeshi phantom voters.
“It is to the credit of the Gerakan delegates that they laughed at Najib’s tall tale as it is not only unbelievable, but reflects a shallowness which does not befit a prime minister,” said Lim in a statement today.
Lim then told MCA and Gerakan ministers to convince Najib to be consistent to the cause of moderation in national policies, starting with the prosecution of (Perkasa president) Ibrahim Ali.
“Can MCA and Gerakan ministers dismiss Najib’s claim (about the Bangladeshi phantom voters) and admit it was because of disillusionment of the Malaysian voters over a whole spectrum of BN government policies which caused Najib to be the prime minister of a minority government?”
Meanwhile, the Gelang Patah MP added that Najib’s (left) claim that BN rejects extremism has "no traction" and is "incapable" of making any impact.
This is especially since there was a "glaring" contradiction in Najib’s declaration with the immunity from prosecution enjoyed by Ibrahim over his threat to burn the Malay-language bible, said Lim.
“What is worse, no minister from either the MCA or Gerakan had dared to speak up to demand that Ibrahim Ali should be prosecuted for his threat to burn the Malay-language bible.
As such, Lim said this was Najib’s ‘greatest disservice’ within 48 hours after Malaysia’s election as a non-permanent member of the United Nation Security Council (UNSC).
Commenting on Najib who had outlined five areas of priority for the country to push in the UNSC, Lim opines that the country should add a sixth priority, which is to advance moderation domestically in Malaysia.
“Otherwise, its campaign to advance moderation globally is dead even before it could get off the launching pad.” - mk
Dear YAB Dato’ Seri,
You say that the Chinese votes fell during GE13 because Chinese voters believed “lies” about Bangladeshi phantom voters.
Actually they hate your party and want Umno dead and BN buried.
Why do you still keep giving excuses and deluding yourself?
They tsunami-ed you, remember? - helen ang
KERAjaan 'gila' melarang penggunaan Kalimah Allah di Semenanjung (utk bukan Islam) TAPI di Sabah Sarawak dibenarkan pula...
