Murid Darjah 1 Ditampar Cikgu Sampai Lekat Kesan Jari...
- mynewshub.my
Dept to probe ‘teacher slapping pupil’ incident...
Penang Education director Osman Husain said a report on the incident was expected to be known within the next two days.
“At the moment I cannot comment further because I am still waiting for the investigation report,” he told reporters after the Penang Wasatiyyah seminar in Bukit Mertajam today.
It was officially opened by Deputy Education Minister Dr Hilmi Yahaya.
Yesterday, the mother of the Sekolah Kebangsaaan Tanjung Tokong pupil made a police report after allegedly finding red marks on her child’s left cheek.
In the police report, the 27-year-old woman claimed her child told her that he was slapped by a female teacher for walking to his friend’s desk during the English class session.
Meanwhile, Osman said the department was organising special courses to educators in the state to adapt themselves with the current situation when facing issues relating to the present generation.- Bernama
