Jadikan kes William sebagai iktibar...

Masyarakat digesa menjadikan kes kematian adik Wiliam Yau Zhen Zhon sebagai iktibar, kata Presiden KEADILAN, Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail(kanan).

Police, meanwhile, have not ruled out the possibility that six-year-old William Yau was murdered on the day he went missing.

The father of the six-year-old deceased William Yau Zhen Zhong has refuted claims that they had abused the boy before.

“If they knew that we tortured him, why didn’t they lodge a police report against us?” the 32-year-old Yau Kok Kang said.

He said they were deeply insulted by the unfounded allegations circulating online.

Following the recovery of a decomposed body last Friday, later identified as William, allegations of abuse by the Yaus have been circulating on Facebook.

This has added a new twist to William’s mysterious death. The boy went missing on Jan 16 in Jalan Putra Mahkota, Putra Heights, after he got out of their car to look for his parents.

Yau told Sinchew Daily that now the family only wished for privacy to grieve the loss of their son.

“I don’t know what the rest are thinking, but the moment I saw the boy in hospital, I knew he was my boy,” he said.

The daily also reported that there had been a police report lodged before on William’s abuse.

Subang Jaya Deputy Police Chief Tan Ah Chua said the police would track its archive.

Meanwhile, China Press reported that boy’s remains was highly decomposed when recovered and was devoid of eyeballs.

The police was investigating the reason behind this and did not rule out the possibility that the boy was murdered on the first day he went missing.

It also reported that William Yau’s parents were awaiting the corpse’ DNA report tomorrow to decide on his funeral affairs.-FMT
