Najib takut kalah...

Najib takut kalah.

Jika dianya dipandang hina, pedulikan.

Tunggu Menteri. Menteri hilang. Ada tetapi tidak ada. Jadi tidak dapat jawab.

Image result for najib takut on tumpang sekole

Sebulan, dua bulan, suku tahun, setengah tahun. Tak jawab. Bukan tolak. Hanya tak jawab. Mungkin dilulus 5 minit sebelum bubar Parlimen. Maka bermasalahlah Gabungan Parti Lawan.

Kempen parti lawan bermasalah. Tetapi BN tetap kalah.

Rakyat bukan bodoh. Mereka tahu akan segala-galanya. Mereka tahu Najib seleweng duit 1MDB berbillion. Mereka tahu 2.6 billion masuk akaun Najib dalam AmBank. Mereka tahu duit Felda, duit KWSP, duit KWAP, duit Tabung Haji telah hilang. Mereka tahu tanah Kerajaan disamun beli, dijual, mereka tahu peranan Rosmah, Jho Low, Riza Aziz menghilangkan duit berbillion.

Mereka sedar nama Malaysia sudah jadi kotor kerana Najib. Apakah mereka ingin kotorkan lagi negara tercinta ini.Mereka tahu semua.

The friend of an enemy is a friend...

PM Najib and DPM Ahmad Zahid recently took turns to visit PKR's de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim who had just undergone a shoulder surgery at the hospital.

Their high-profile moves have since drawn speculations.

If Anwar could reconcile with Mahathir, could this imply that he will make up with Najib one day?

This is not the first time we see such "hospital visitation" drama. In August this year, PKR president Wan Azizah and her deputy Azmin Ali visited Hadi Awang recovering from a heart surgery. The picture of their visit was subsequently posted on the PAS president's Facebook page, triggering a fair deal of confusion within PKR.

Unhappy with the party leadership's reluctance to give up the prospect of cooperating with the Islamist party, PKR's MP for Selayang William Leong announced his resignation from the party's political bureau.

As a matter of fact, the "grand unity" wayang kulit was already kicked off as early as last September, when Mahathir turned up at KL High Court to lend moral support to Anwar Ibrahim. The two leaders later shook hands smilingly.

And now, with the visit by PM Najib and his wife and the subsequent posting of the picture of their meeting on Twitter, it is obvious that Najib is trying to display his magnanimity in an attempt to crack the alliance between Anwar and Mahathir.

The following day, DPM Ahmad Zahid and his wife paid Anwar a visit at the hospital, and the duo shook hands and posed for the camera.

Rizal Mansor,, the aide of Najib's wife Rosmah, ridiculed in a statement that Mahathir didn't even pay Anwar a visit when his former left-hand-man was punched in the eye, hinting at the difference between Najib and Mahathir.

It is obvious enough that this whole thing has been a show put up just to meet the political need. Soon after Najib visited him at the hospital, Anwar responded on his Facebook by vowing he would keep fighting in the next GE.

Anwar is nevertheless a highly unpredictable politician. When PAS' syura council adopted the motion to break all ties with PKR during the party's assembly in May, PKR followed suit by withdrawing from the the PAS-led Kelantan state government. However, that eventually didn't materialize, showing that Anwar indeed was still fantasizing about mending ties with the Islamist party.

Last March, when Mahathir signed a Citizens' Declaration against Najib alongside opposition and civil society leaders, Anwar warned of dangers working with Mahathir in a lengthy 8-page letter to the PKR leadership, even quoting from William Shakespeare's Hamlet in forewarning party leaders: "The serpent that did sting thy father's life, now wears his crown."

But, several months later, Anwar struck an accord with his foe, and had even told his wife and children to lay down their grudges and work with Mahathir.

While Anwar now vows to fight Najib to the end, we have no way to tell whether he will steer a turnaround soon.

For these few years, the Malay politics has been beating around such unpredictabilities, first, the departure of PAS from the opposition camp, then Umno trying to reach out to PAS, followed by a fissure within Umno, and the reconciliation between Mahathir and Anwar.

Since no one has enough of confidence, everyone can only engage in this kind of insensible game. As a result, many of the country's problems remain unsolved to this day, as democracy takes a beating.

PPBM is perhaps the most vulnerable, as the RoS could just revoke its registration, thanks to the unchecked powers entrusted to it when Mahathir was in charge. With the deeply rooted ill-feeling between Mahathir and Umno, an olive branch held out by Najib to Anwar is definitely not a good thing for Mahathir.

Such unpredictable political developments prove that many politicians are indeed suffering from split personality.

We used to say that the enemy of an enemy is a friend, like PAS to Umno when the former broke ties with its Pakatan allies. But now, even a friend of an enemy can be a friend, as Umno tries to woo Anwar back to its side.

The conclusion: Politics is an anything-goes art. But, as politicians keep changing courses, so is the nation losing its direction. We won't know when they are serious and when they are just making believe. - sinchewdaily

6 MP PAS undi tak sokong Bajet, 2 kecuali, Hadi ponteng...

MP PAS - Kami mengundi menentang, kerana nak ajar kementerian berkenaan...

menyimpulkan bahagian Bajet 2018 semasa peringkat jawatankuasa.

Langkah tersebut tewas tipis 52-51.

Dua MP PAS, anggota parlimen Bukit Gantang Idris Ahmad  dan Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff (Rantau Panjang) (gambar, atas) berkecuali daripada mengundi.

"Kita kalah satu undi.

PR1MA Buyers Too Poor
To Secure Bank Financing...

PR1MA has been a disaster since it was launched. No one really knows exactly how many housing units they have completed. The numbers keep changing. Now the news (from PR1MA) itself is that many of their home buyers FAIL to pass the requirements to secure housing loans.

So even if PR1MA completes building these houses, they cannot be sold to the target market because their target market is financially unsound.

Here is a simple solution.  PR1MA has 1.5 million registered buyers. So before starting construction of a particular apartment block or terrace house units, why not  process the "lucky" buyers of those units first?

Assemble the End Financiers and see if the buyers can get approval for the housing loans.  If there are enough buyers who can secure housing loans, then proceed with the construction.

However if there are NOT enough buyers who can secure housing loans, then do not begin the construction.  Pretty soon PR1MA will go bust building apartment blocks that cannot be sold.

But here is something for PR1MA to bear in mind.

Under Kepala Bapak, there are 7 million Malays who have joined the BR1M list. Meaning 7 million Malays are poor. This list is growing.  Under Kepala Bapak, the number of unemployed Malay graduates is over 200,000. Under Kepala Bapak the Malay economy is dying. This is the "disaster category".

Yet PR1MA is supposed to build affordable housing for this same 'disaster category' ?

- ostb

Zahid cabut lari tak mahu jumpa bos lama...

Ni tak ada kata yes or no. Kami dalam keadaan misteri. Kalau salah bagitahu lah.

DAP baru sahaja mengadakan pemilihan semula Jawatankuasa Kerja Pusat 12 November lalu, setelah diarahkan berbuat demikian empat tahun selepas Jabatan Pendaftar Pertubuhan (ROS) mendiamkan diri.

Parti pimpinan Tun Mahathir pula baru-baru ini berhadapan kemungkinan dibatalkan pendaftaran, gara-gara masalah dalam sayap pemudanya. – Roketkini.com

Dr.M - PH registration stymied by issues with DAP, PPBM

Can the RM90 milion be returned,
the only way for PAS to go is Najib's way...

As reported, the incumbent, but unpopular, president of PAS is adamant that the party will not labour with Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) to face the next general election.

Critics have the opinion that this is an unwise strategy.  “It would be wise for PAS to work with the other Opposition parties in the country” and what more, open its membership to all Malaysians, irrespective of race or religion. PAS does not need special PAS Supporters’ Clubs or wings comprising the non-Muslims or try their luck to go solo in the next general election. They will not thrive without the support of all Malaysians. Allow all Malaysians to become PAS members if they wish to do so.  After all, Islam is for all. Islam as a religion does not segregate people by race or religion.

Historically, even the Jews were protected under any Islamic rule. They had lived harmoniously with their Muslim brothers.

Moderate political platform

In the Malaysian context, the state of Kelantan has shown an exemplary harmonious society where we witness the Muslims and non-Muslims living together without much animosity. PAS opening its door to Malaysians of all races and religions is a pragmatic move by a political party in a multi-racial country like Malaysia. The perception of Malaysians towards PAS would be instantly buoyed by this move. The people then do not have to be a Muslim to subscribe to a pragmatic Islamic party’s struggle. Those who believe in the struggle of this political party are welcome to become members. Even if they decide not to become members, they can still vote for PAS during elections if the party is part of the Opposition and is seen as a moderate political platform for all.

This ‘feel-affection-for-PAS’ syndrome is not a new observable fact. In actuality, many non- Muslims in the past had voted for PAS in elections. The people in Kelantan – Muslims and non-Muslims – cherished PAS and the majority of the electorate there had voted for PAS under the dutiful leadership of the late Nik Aziz Nik Mat. This affection for PAS had trickled down to many regions in the country during that era. If PAS can remain a moderate Islamic party – putting the welfare of the people as their prime concern, the people will go all out to vote the party in.

PAS now should attract more professional and educated Malaysians to lead and bring the party to greater heights. The trend towards this has to be set by visionary leaders in the party, as voters would want a progressive party to lead them. The people at large are now anxious to see a two-coalition political system in the country. PAS could therefore play a pragmatic role in the Opposition to bring greater cooperation and prosperity to the country.

A full-fledged multiracial entity

Unlike Umno, when PAS opens its doors to non-Malays, non-Muslims and non-bumiputeras, the party will truly reflect the aspiration of all Malaysians. PAS as part of the Opposition coalition will be in a better political position than Umno to win the hearts of all Malaysians. As for the coalition members, other than Pribumi, DAP, PKR and Amanah are essentially multi-racial. The PH coalition will become a full-fledged multiracial entity. This bodes well for the country. Maturity should prevail among PAS politicians as there is a need for such an entity in this societal foundation of ours.

The next step would be for PAS to bring about a much desired paradigm change. Get more professionals and the educated to become the think-tank for the party to face economic and social challenges in this global era. Be a moderate Islamic party. PAS leaders should outwit the serving government when it comes to economic prowess and changes.

PAS cannot remain a party that only rally on petty social or religious issues affecting some groups of people. Trivial and sensitive issues should best be discussed at the party level in an inclusive manner. There has to be a huge paradigm change at the economics level that PAS should focus on. PAS already has capable leaders in its fold who can execute this job.  What more when PAS becomes part of the Opposition coalition.

PAS, however, should further metamorphose into a party that has concrete blueprints for the economic, education and social issues affecting the society. Religion can be better professed if it can also bring about material benefits for the people. Faith in religion does not mean that the people have to be satiated just with religious rhetoric. Religion should be seen as a vehicle that brings about social justice to people and economic well-being to the nation.

Society is crumbling

The economy is affecting the people’s livelihood. Society is crumbling due to a lack of moral or religious virtues. Unfortunately, education today is merely a paper-chase route to life – most ‘graduates’ are without the desired knowledge and end up being ineffective and unemployed. The ‘illiterate’ among the literate graduates abound these days. They carry with them impressive scrolls but many are not up to the mark. Education remains a process but nothing tangible can be tapped out of these graduates.

Corruption is breaking the foundation of our society. Individuals are draining the institutions they are entrusted to protect. Corruption has affected almost every level of our society in the midst of never-ending talks about religion and moral values. Speechifying on corruption and integrity alone will not change a society.

The people need realistic ways and there must be political will to overcome this scourge – the spate that has made the rich richer and the poor poorer. The people see injustice all around them. Power is corrupting the leaders. Crime is destroying society; people live in fear of crime because the social and economic systems are in turmoil. Indeed, religion without faith is insufficient. PAS for sure is aware of all these quandaries faced by the nation.

Never too late for PAS leaders to envisage the party’s destiny

Faith is significant to make people think and act within the framework set by the religion. Mere lip service will do nothing to change the tattered fabric of our society. It’s always wise to have truly God-fearing people to be in power. PAS can show the path to all people that there can be justice in the governance of a country. If PAS can pave the way, Muslims and the non-Muslims alike would be ever ready to vote them into power. Social and economic parities are the craving of all people in the country now, irrespective of race or religion.

They want justice to be done and not just listen to mere fiery rhetoric by politicians who want to fish for votes. PAS should revitalise and head in the right direction towards becoming more relevant in the Malaysian political scene.

It’s never too late for PAS leaders to envisage the party’s destiny. They have to put their differences aside and come to terms with other parties in PH. “Settling of scores” out of vengeance has never been an Islamic way.  To forgive and forget is the way forward in Islam. Let the next general election be a one-to-one contest – PH versus BN. A two-party (coalition) system for the country would benefit PAS and the people more. - Moaz Nair

"It Is Not That I Love Rome Any Less,
It Is That I Love Caesar More !"...

The correct quote should be "It Is Not That I Love Caesar Any Less, It Is That I Love Rome More !".   That is what  humongo-Anwar-crony Zahid Hamidi said when Anwar was kicked out of UMNO in 1998.Zahid visited Anwar in hospital as well.

Well Kepala Bapak and Zahid have visited Anwar Ibrahim in hospital. The fact is Anwar is still a prisoner, under the care of the prison authorities. He is not just a patient in a hospital. To visit a prisoner who is in hospital, you still need the approval of the Prisons Department or the Ministry of  Home Affairs.

If Kepala Bapak and Zahid can visit Anwar in hospital, then others should also be allowed to visit him especially all the PKR people. I am sure Sivarasa, Latheefah, Tian Chua etc would like to visit Anwar in hospital  as well.

If they are denied, then it is proof enough that Kepala Bapak and Zahid's visit was not just any ordinary visit but a special visit to cut a deal with Anwar.

Talk is Anwar will be pardoned (AFTER the elections). But no possibility of Anwar becoming PM. Wan Azizah will also retire. Nurul Izzah will be made a Cabinet Minister. This is just talk ok.

If Kepala Bapak cuts a deal with Anwar, it will NOT backfire on them. YES this will help Kepala Bapak win the elections. The Malay voters will be less confused.

If Kepala Bapak, Hadi Awang and Anwar Ibrahim appear on the same stage it will be a major show of Malay unity. For the first time in almost 70 years, Malay politics would be united. Just like the time BEFORE Pas split off from UMNO about 70 years ago. The Malay voter will only see Malay unity.

Pakatan Harapan will be screwed. Pakatan Harapan will only have Bersatu, DAP,  Amanah and Warisan. In this scenario, the future of the Malays will be totally screwed. Totally and completely screwed.

If Kepala Bapak cuts a deal with Anwar, then what happens to the likes of Sivarasa, Latheefah and Tian Chua? Sivarasa and Latheefah will find out that they are just Indians. Tian Chua will find out that he is just a Chinese.

Indians use daun kari or curry leaves to make their curries. The curry leaf only flavors the curry. It is not eaten. After flavoring the curry, the daun kari is just thrown away. That is the nature of curry leaves.  There was only one person I knew who actually ate the curry leaves.  She was a young Chinese girl.  I too chew and swallow the curry leaves. Nothing goes to waste. - ostb

Najib/Zahid ucap maaf zahir batin kat Pak Sheikh...

Image may contain: 8 people, people smiling, people sitting and text

IN STUNNING SLAP TO NAJIB, 84% OF JOHOR MALAYS WANT SULTAN IBRAHIM TO INTERVENE IN POLITICS, WHILE 9 OUT OF 10 JOHOREANS OF ALL RACES IDENTIFY WITH ‘BANGSA JOHOR’
84% of Johore Malays want
the Sultan to intervene in politics...

Three-quarters of Johor folks polled by Singapore-based research centre ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute revealed they agree with the Johor royal house intervening in politics should the need arise.

In the survey results released this week, the highest support for this notion came from the Malays in the southern state, at 84.9 per cent, followed by the ethnic Chinese at 65.1 per cent, and Indians (53.2 per cent).

“The strong Malay support for the Johor Sultan intervention in politics when necessary is consistent with the community’s acceptance of the Sultan’s traditional role as their ‘protector’,” the report said.
Furthermore, those responded also had no problems with the royalty involving itself in business ventures.

Over half, at 51.8 per cent, disagreed that the royal house should refrain from business ventures.

Broken by ethnicities, close to 59 per cent of Malays supported such business ventures, compared to the Indians (52 per cent), and the Chinese (40.5 per cent).

“Finally, 18.8 per cent of Chinese respondents, 19.5 per cent Indian respondents, and only 6.2 Malay respondents are unsure whether or not the Johor royalty should refrain from business ventures,” it said.

In addition, those polled also viewed the monarchy positively, agreeing that the Johor royal family is a good steward of the state’s resources, the Sultan looks after the personal interests of the citizens, and is a good guardian of Islam.

The survey polled 2,011 respondents from Johor by phone between May and June this year.

Malays made up 55 per cent of the respondents, Chinese at 38 per cent, and Indian at 7 per cent.

One in 10 Johoreans identify as Bangsa Johor first,Malaysian second.

Anwar 'banduan' kini bernilai RM2.6bilion,dekat tapi jauh...

Bebaskan dia supaya dia kembali kepangkuan rakyat...

Najib lawat Anwar, Anwar nanti.
Madey lawat Najib, Najib lari.

Now suddenly everybody wants to be seen around Anwar Ibrahim. Who next?

Politics Is The Art Of The Possible...

The people here are supposed to be antagonists. The guy in the sling says he was sent to jail based on false charges cooked up by the guy sitting beside him. Jailed for FIVE years or something. That is NOT something trifling or tiny.

Being locked up in jail even for FIVE DAYS on false charges is a pretty serious crime - by the perpetrator of the false charges. But look at this picture (very recent I think).

They are all smiles.  Except for that  incredible woman-of-steel (whatever her many shortcomings are) in the tudung.

(I would like to digress a little. History will one day write about Wan Azizah as the epitome of the perfect, obedient, pious and long suffering wife.

Despite all the things I have said about her politics, I must record my sincere admiration for Wan Azizah's absolute loyalty to her husband.  It is almost unbelievable.

Allahuma solli alaikum Datin Sri. May Allah shower his support upon you for your tenacity and your commitment to your husband and your family.)

Ok, back to the picture. Wan Azizah is the only person in this picture who is not smiling.  She just wants her husband back. In more ways than one.

I hear that Anwar Ibrahim is set to be released from jail around April next year. That is after deducting the usual 1/3 of the jail sentence.  But it need not be so.  They can always make him go full term.

Everyone inside this picture is desperate.  Politics is the art of the possible.

Imagine a political union between UMNO - PAS - PKR. I have already discussed this possibility before.  It will surely strengthen the BN. Where will that place the Pakatan Harapan?

If there is going to be a union between UMNO - PAS - PKR it need not happen before the general elections. It can even happen AFTER the results of the election are known.  As the stomach churns. - ostb

Guru Besar kena tukaq
pasai layan Guan Eng...

Dr.M and Tong Shin Hospital...

PM said DrM never visited Tong Shin hospital in his 22 years of being a PM By Art Harun

The truth is DrM did not have to visit Chinese hospitals, even when the GE was around the corner, to gain overwhelming support from the Chinese.

During DrM's premiership, MCA was strong and the Chinese were a happy lot. When UMNO was weak or weaken (sic), MCA delivered a very strong performance and it effectively propped up UMNO and the BN.

UMNO at that time treated MCA like a real partner. It treated MCA with respect.

UMNO never romanced with PAS or made provocative statements like "we will win without the Chinese" or "MCA is weak and we don't need it".

DrM had also never merajuk with the Chinese and labelled GE results were not good because of "Chinese tsunami." Or asked "apa lagi Cina mau?"

He had also never subcontracted bigotry and racial hatred to some groups of people with nice t-shirts or websites that keep on harping that orang Cina want to take over Malaysia and "habis la orang Melayu dan Islam kalau Cina perintah Malaysia."

UMNO also never danced to PAS' tune and talked about imposing hudud thereby spooking the Chinese.

The Chinese at that time did not need to see DrM making his rounds at Chinese hospitals, Chinese schools or slaughtering a chicken at a Chinese temple before deciding to vote for DrM's leadership.

Malaysia then was flying economically. The Chinese taukeys were happy and they repaid with absolute support for the government. DrM did not have to kow tow to the Doctors and patients at the hospital. Or anywhere, for that matter. - Art Harun

Dr Mahathir tak perlu ke Tung Shin raih sokongan Cina

22 tahun jadi PM,Mahathir PM paling lekeh...

Petronas Jalan Bangsar Tutup, McDonald's (Lower Ground Flr) MidValley Tutup.

First here is more "tutup kedai", "tutup kilang" and "tutup pintu" news from around Malaysia.  I did not create this news ok. I am merely "re-reporting" what has already been reported. Jangan marah saya tau.

So at last the Minister himself agrees that the GST  has caused companies to shut down.

I have been saying this since BEFORE the GST was implemented.
I have been saying this for over THREE YEARS now.
You implement the GST, you kill the economy.

Again I did not say this either. It is Dato Mustapha Mohamed the Minister of the MITI who said this.  40 foreign companies have moved out of Malaysia in the past four years.

Now here are some comments on the GST by my friend Dato Akbar Ali, the former Senator from Melaka and the former Head of the UPEN Melaka (Economic Planning Unit, Melaka). Dato Akbar Ali is trained in Statistics and Mathematics.

There were TWO McDonald's outlets in Mid Valley Megamall.  I just found out yesterday that one of them (at the LG level) has closed down about a month ago.  That is news for me.  I have never known a McDonald's outlet to shut down anywhere, even in Malaysia.

Then the Petronas station at Jalan Bangsar (just before the Jalan Riong junction) has also shut down about a month back.  I believe petrol stations are already having a tough time surviving. Many petrol stations have indeed shut down.- ostb
