Mampukah SPRM cekup Isa Samad...

- fmt

Why is ROS so afraid to meet DAP,
asks Guan Eng...

Why is the Registrar of Societies (ROS) so afraid of meeting DAP leaders to discuss the order for the party to conduct fresh internal polls, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng asked today.

Lim, who is Penang Chief Minister, said the party's request for meeting with ROS has so far hit a brick wall, with no response from the federal agency.

DAP has 11 days left to respond to ROS, which issued the party an official letter on Jul 17, ordering it to conduct a fresh election for its 2013 central executive committee (CEC).

“Why are they so afraid of meeting us? What is ROS afraid of?” Lim responded when asked about the DAP’s options to the time frame of 14 days given by ROS.

“You are not meeting any ordinary leader, you are meeting an MP and even the chief minister. Why are you afraid of meeting the CM?” Lim asked during a press conference at Komtar.

He said former DAP organising secretary cum Kota Seputih MP Teresa Kok had been tasked to get a meeting with ROS, as the official letter ordering a fresh CEC election was sent to her.

“She has been trying to get an appointment with ROS but has not got one. We thought men don’t have that power so we sent a lady, perhaps they will be more responsive to a lady,” Lim said, tongue in cheek.

Last night, the DAP held off a decision on re-election for its CEC, saying it wanted to wait until it has a meeting with ROS to discuss the order for the re-election.

At a midnight press conference to announce its decision, Lim said the party wanted ROS to clarify its directive for the re-election, which the party claimed was based on “fake news”.

Fake news based on a booklet

The “fake news”, according to Lim, was based on a booklet by a non-existent "Father Augustus Chen", which the party said defamed its leaders.

Lim noted that DAP senior advisor Lim Kit Siang won a defamation suit against Utusan Malaysia on its report involving the booklet.

However, the ROS had stood by its decision and order, saying that it was based on complaints received from DAP members.

ROS, in its order to DAP to hold a fresh election for its CEC, said that its 2013 re-election was not in accordance with the law.

DAP has 14 days to respond to ROS on the re-election, and if it fails to do so, the federal body can take action against DAP under the Societies Act 1966.

Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has warned that DAP may not be able to participate in the coming general election if it does not comply with the ROS instruction.

As for now, Lim declined to discuss the possibilities and options DAP would take until it is allowed a meeting with ROS, which has yet to materialise.

DAP could either call for a re-election or challenge the ROS decision in court.

Condemning the ROS action as "ridiculous and a set-up", Lim maintained that ROS was out to "fix and sabotage" the DAP.

“Even if ROS wants to fix the DAP, do it in a cleverer way. It is so obvious what ROS is trying to do, that even an eight-year-old knows what is happening.

“It is now a test for ROS to show whether it is neutral, professional or another political tool of the BN,” Lim added. - mk

Allah tahu Apandi penipu...

-  chedet,mk

Photo published for Kit Siang bacakan 2 ayat Quran kepada Apandi

(al-Quran 2:60)

- mk

The ghost of Altantuya Shaaribuu
rises again after 11 years...

To Mr.MO1, his really ugly wife, all the cronies and fellow kleptocrats, please take note.

You are reopening the BNM Forex scandal over 25 years after it happened.

Now the French have indicted two former executives for corruption in the Scorpene scandal.  The wheels of justice take a long time to move but they do move. Sooner or later they will come and get you too.

Dont say I did not tell you so.

The Scorpenes were sold FIFTEEN YEARS AGO in 2002.
Altantuya Shaaribuu was murdered ELEVEN YEARS AGO in 2006.
Suaram filed the complaint SEVEN YEARS AGO in 2010.

Now in 2017 the French have indicted TWO people for corruption.

More will come out of this.

It may take another 5, 10, 15, 20 years but that Altantuya murder will be solved.

Who gave the order to those poorly educated policemen to shoot her.
Then to destroy all traces of her body.

When the deed was done, the Policemen had to report to someone.
They had to say, 'Mission accomplished' or 'Job is done'.

Who did they call that nite?

The same with 1MDB.  1MDB will not take 10 years or 25 years.

1MDB will come and bite you on your ass much, much sooner.
What a miserable fate for you. You dont know just when the phone will ring.

Its too late. You have already committed the crime.
Now you must do the time. It is just a matter of time.- ostb

Jadi Menteri pun dia tak mau
apatah lagi jadi PM...

“(Datuk Seri) Najib (Razak) kata kalau UMNO jatuh, Kit Siang jadi perdana menteri.

“Tahun 69, bila Tun Razak cuba nak tubuh Barisan Nasional, parti DAP dijemput, bukan sahaja dia jemput Gerakan, bukannya sahaja dia jemput SUPP (Parti Rakyat Bersatu Sarawak), parti DAP pun dijemput.

“Tapi kalau Kit Siang nak jadi menteri, dia join lah.

Shattuck St Mary, a RM935m intern'l school,all-American co-curriculum in 9.4ha Forest City educational hub. School to start enrolling 150 - 180 students pre-schoolers to high school level for its first phase August next year...

All the poor school leavers from Kelantan, Kedah etc will not be joining teacher training anymore because they must now pay for their own board and lodging. So there will be less teachers.

A lot of these young teachers who come from very challenging backgrounds cannot impart too much progressive or modern thinking to the students in the Malaysian school system. Almost all of them "suffer" intensive religious indoctrination.

Hence they cannot be agents for positive change anymore. In fact it is the other way around. Our schools are so infested with teachers who come from rural cum religious backgrounds that there is often a mental warp that wraps itself around our school children.

That is why Malaysian schools create unthinking, blinkered memorisers. If you want to know why the society is failing, look at the school teacehsr and the school system.

So the rich people are saving their own kids. They are building billion Ringgit schools which will teach the American, British and Singapore curriculum. English will be spoken, the kids will read books in English including library books. They will have dance, music, sports, drama, debates, discussions, Mat Salleh teachers, travel overseas, excursions and all sorts of fun stuff.

They will have minimal religion.

When they grow up, these kids will run the businesses and the corporates. The other kids who went to the gomen schools will be their laborers, drivers, fetchers and getters. - ostb

MO1 said the MRT is a gift for the people. The people paid for it lah. When they have paid for it, it is not a gift.

It is a gift to MO1 because surely the project is over priced by many billions. Can buy more pink rocks to put on the hippo's neck. Easier to sink to the bottom of the swamp.

Nazri is convinced that he is not stupid.  Herein lies the problem.

These are good questions.

Stupid says the tourism tax is needed to make up for an RM90 million shortfall in the ministry's advertising budget.

Then Stupid says the tourism tax will raise RM654 million. So they will be burdening the public with an extra RM564 million.

Why collect RM654 million when you only need RM90 million?

Why not ask MO1 to give him an extra RM90 million from the RM50 billion GST collection? That is a valid question. Or reduce the tourism tax to just 1/7 th or about 14% of the present amount.

So instead of RM20 per 5 star room just charge less than RM3 per 5 star room.  That will cover the RM90 million shortfall.

The China Press report that the Tourism Board has burned RM250 million through wastage and corruption sounds more like the real story.

Why not make the Tourism Board's accounts public. Is Stupid brave enough to do that? He is not only stupid but also quite the coward. - ostb

Janji Najib ‘I help you,You help me’ dah tak laku...

Image result for Najib ‘You help me, I help you’

Well it will only get worse, worse and more worse.

Their parents have little or no capacity to go out and earn extra income to support their kids. This is not the fault of the students. It is their families who have no options. That is what we are talking about here.

Malay folks, please listen up. Other students may not have the same problems. Go to Taylor's College "Lakeside Campus". They have Starbucks on campus. It is always full of students.

Our old customer called and urgently wanted some cash (for old gold). A family member had not paid rent for their business premises for three months and the landlord had turned off the electricity. So tak boleh niaga. So the parent was trying to help out.

Two things to note.

1st the family member's business is obviously in deep shit. This is the situation in Malaysia today.

2ndly the parent  has no emergency cash. Has to offer old gold to raise cash.  - ostb

As Dr.M attacked Kota Tinggi,
Najib was busy defending
UMNO’s safe seat of Sembrong...

Over the last weekend, Johor was visibly the most important political battleground between Pakatan Harapan and BN that carried with it very interesting messages.

On Pakatan Harapan’s side, former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad delivered his first speech as Pakatan Harapan’s newly appointed chairperson – a fact that he noted at the start of his speech – in Kota Tinggi on Saturday (July 15).

The event in the Umno stronghold was organized by NGO Anak and attended by a multi-ethnic crowd of three thousand – a huge crowd for a small town that most consider to be one of the safest Umno seats. Parti Amanah Negara President Mat Sabu, PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution and myself (representing DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang) attended as well.

The day before that, on Friday (July 14), Amanah held its well-attended state-wide Raya open house in Batu Pahat while Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia President Muhyiddin Yassin had his Pagoh constituency open house on Saturday. PKR’s Hari Raya events in Ledang and Pasir Gudang on Sunday were attended by its deputy president Azmin Ali. DAP national publicity secretary Tony Pua also toured the state during the weekend to discuss the 1MDB scandal with ordinary Johoreans.

In Kota Tinggi, I noted in my speech that Dr Mahathir and Harapan leaders “attacked” one of the strongest of Umno strongholds, while Prime Minister Najib Razak was in Johor to defend another Umno’s safe seat of Sembrong – a telltale sign of our times.

Umno’s vote share in Kota Tinggi and Sembrong in the last general election was 82.4% and 63.7%. Kota Tinggi has 86% Malay, 11% Chinese and 2% Indian voters. Sembrong has 58% Malay, 31% Chinese and 9% Indian voters.

I made the comparison of Kota Tinggi and Sembrong in jest, but had a shock when I read the news report of Najib’s event later in the night – that defending Sembrong was indeed very much in the psyche of Najib and Umno top guns. Najib declared that, “We come here today to ensure that the land of Sembrong will remain firmly in the hands of BN”.

TO CALL FOR GE14 OR NOT? AS INDECISIVE NAJIB BALKS, UMNO WARLORDS GO ON RAMPAGE WITH ‘WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY CLOSING IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS’

Something is very wrong

Something is very wrong if Sembrong needed national reinforcement and such high-level intervention by the prime minister so late into this election cycle. It just means that Umno top guns, particularly Defence Minister and prospective prime minister candidate Hishammuddin Hussein has received intelligence that most seats in Johor, Sembrong included, are vulnerable and can fall into the hands of Pakatan Harapan.

Najib announced three projects at the event – the construction of 1,000 units of public housing in two phases, 500 homes for second generation Felda settlers and the upgrading of Taman Sri Lambak police kiosk into a full-fledged police station.

Malaysiakini reported Najib saying that he would “pay the bills” for the people of Sembrong, but requested that they also repay him:

“Today, coming here should have been free, there shouldn’t be a need to pay anything.

“But looks like Hishammuddin had sent me the bill even before I arrived here… I was cornered,” he said in jest.

“So, with three projects, I have paid the bill for this meeting with the people of Sembrong. I have fulfilled your wishes, now you’ll need to fulfil mine,” he said. (Malaysiakini, July 16)

Never mind that it was a government event funded by the public purse, and not supposed to be used for partisan election campaigns; what this incident shows is Najib’s lack of understanding of the changing landscape of public opinion, especially among Malay voters.

Najib still thinks that the “you help me, I help you” project-funding promises would deliver the votes, when what voters want is a clean government, better jobs and pay, as well as lower cost of living.

Also, if the third in rank in the cabinet, as Hishammuddin is, has to beg for projects for his own constituency in such a public manner months before Parliament is dissolved, it just shows that the government is dysfunctional.

The seat of Sembrong was created by the Election Commission in the 1993 redelineation and very much “designed” for Hishammuddin, who has held the seat since 1995. If Sembrong is in danger of falling, everywhere else is.

I spoke in Kota Tinggi that a change of government at the federal level would happen if Pakatan Harapan manages to win 10 seats each from Johor, Kedah and Sabah.

Both Sembrong and Kota Tinggi were not in my list of 10 seats that Pakatan Harapan deems it has a fighting chance to win. However, gauging from the positive responses in Kota Tinggi and the panicking psyche of Najib and his associates as revealed in the Sembrong event, Johor is probably the most important national battleground in the upcoming general election.- Liew Chin Tong,mk

Go Ahead And Ban DAP Rocket
From Next Election...

DAP, Democratic Action Party, is the most powerful and influential opposition party in Malaysia. During the previous 13th nationwide election in 2013, the party attracted at least 90% of ethnic-Chinese votes. In the next 14th election, which will have to happen on or before 24 August 2018, DAP is expected to garner less than 90% of the Chinese vote-bank.

That’s because the Chinese, whom were flushed with confidence that the now-defunct opposition alliance of Pakatan Rakyat (People’s Alliance) could take over the federal government for the first time since the nation’s Independence in 1957, have given up hope. Still, DAP should have little trouble getting at least 75% – 80% of the Chinese votes.

If the Chinese decide not to waste time casting their votes for DAP in the coming general election, it would not be because they plan to vote for MCA or Gerakan (two Chinese-majority parties aligned to Prime Minister Najib Razak). If opposition DAP couldn’t get the Chinese votes, nobody else would get them. They would simply stay at home and refuse to vote.

Thanks to Liew Chin Tong, the DAP’s brilliant strategist, the ethnic-Chinese are once again re-energized, determined to vote in drove for DAP come rain or shine. Liew skillfully provoked Najib administration by “suggesting” that Najib would drop several menteris besar (chief ministers) as well as UMNO’s top leaders – otherwise known as warlords.

Mr. Liew also said that if there is a 15% shift in the ethnic-Malay support, then UMNO-BN would lose in 40 Parliamentary seats in Peninsular Malaysia in the 14th General Election, effectively cripples Najib regime. The DAP advisor also claimed that Najib no longer received public support because he was smeared by numerous issues – primarily 1MDB and FGV scandals.

The provocation works wonderfully. PM Najib’s apple polishers and bootlickers, as expected, swallowed the hook, line and sinker. The not-so-clever bootlickers immediately go bonkers. Tengku Sariffuddin Tengku Ahmad, the prime minister’s press secretary, for example, told Liew Chin Tong that he should focus on fixing his party’s democratic deficit instead.

Related image

Thinking he was really smart, Mr. Sariffuddin said Liew, who is also a MP of Kluang, should in fact be more concerned about the serious predicament his party (DAP) was in as they did not know whether their infamous rocket logocould be used in the coming general election. Indirectly, Sariffuddin reveals how his boss (PM Najib) plans to deny DAP from participating in the next election.

After Election Commission, it appears that Najib son of Razak, currently tainted with the 1MDB corruption and money laundering scandal, is planning to use Registrar of Societies (RoS) to ban DAP. By denying DAP its democratic right, Najib, allegedly has stolen billions of dollars of taxpayers’ money, hopes to weaken the opposition coalition and steal the Penang state from DAP.

Today, Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has basically confirmed his boss’ evil plan, telling all and sundry that while the Registrar of Societies will not register DAP, the opposition political party may not be able to contest in the next general election – if it doesn’t hold its central executive committee (CEC) re-elections as instructed.

How many times do DAP need to hold re-elections? The DAP had already conducted a re-election of its CEC members on Sept 29, 2013 according to the directive of the RoS pursuant to their letter dated July 30, 2013. Back then, the RoS had, in 2013, ordered a re-election of DAP’s CEC after it found irregularities and manipulation of votes by the party in its initial election in December 2012.

Yesterday, as predicted by Sariffuddin (a wizard more powerful than Saruman and Gandalf), RoS director-general Mohammad Razin Abdullah instructed DAP to hold yet another re-election of the party’s CEC. Conveniently, the RoS claims that DAP’s re-election held on Sept 29, 2013 was equally unlawful too, just when the corrupt Najib is about to call for a snap election this year.

The funny question is this – if the first election in 2012 and the second re-election in 2013 were found to be unlawful, what are the chances that a third re-election in 2017 could satisfy Registrar of Societies (RoS)? That’s right, it took the RoS four years to wake up from its slumberland and tells opposition DAP that it has to hold another re-election – again.

Do you want the proof that RoS has no integrity but another lapdog of Najib Razak? On January 22, 2014, DAP Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng filed a judicial review application on behalf of the party, saying the RoS had no power under the Societies Act 1966 to refuse the recognition of the CEC which was re-elected on Sept 29, 2013. If RoS was an agency with integrity, it would fight DAP in court.

Guess what was the RoS’ reaction. The Registrar of Societies amusingly took a U-turn and said it actually recognizes the DAP CEC elected on Sept 29, 2013 but their statements that says otherwise on the matter were “merely advice and not legally binding”. Thereafter, the DAP decided to drop the judicial review application against the Registrar of Societies (ROS).

The fact is, it doesn’t matter how many times or how proper DAP holds its election, or re-election for that matter. What one needed is to bribe a DAP member to complain to the RoS that the election process of CEC members of DAP and main office bearers was not legally carried out and voila, RoS could then declare the election unlawful. But why is this vital?

According to the Societies Act, when elections approach, the party candidate’s “watikah” (credentials) must be signed by a RoS officer. Therefore, if the committee (DAP in this case) is not recognised, the credential cannot be produced and authorized. Hence, the (DAP) candidate cannot contest. Sure, DAP can sue the Registrar of Societies – again.

However, even if DAP, or any opposition party for that matter, wins the case in a “Kangaroo Court”, it would be water under the bridge. By then, the election would be over. Not a single of DAP candidate could contest in the coming 14th nationwide election. This is not the first time Najib regime deploys such a dirty trick. It happened 4 years ago to undermine DAP.

The same RoS issued a similar letter to the DAP on April 17, 2013, just three weeks before the 13th general election on May 5. Realizing their evil plan would backfire after public uproar, Najib regime then made a fantastic U-turn. RoS was instructed to issue another letter on April 19, 2013, informing that DAP would be allowed to use its rocket symbol in the election.

Najib’s plan would otherwise work beautifully – if today is 30 years ago. Unfortunately, with the government-controlled mainstream media losing its influence to alternative social media, every Tom, Dick and his hamster by now is aware of Najib’s plan to ban DAP from contesting. In fact, DAP knew this was coming but they wanted Najib regime to admit it publicly.

Now that strategist Liew Chin Tong had successfully baited the foolish Sariffuddin, DAP can now run a campaign drama – crying, whining and bitching how the Chinese are being bullied, oppressed and suppressed by the corrupt UMNO, Najib’s political party. The sympathy card will be used to rally not only the ethnic-Chinese, but also to fish for ethnic-Malay votes.

DAP and its allies – PKR (People’s Justice Party), PPRM (Malaysian United Indigenous Party) and AMANAH (National Trust Party) – can now openly tell the Malay voters it is safe to vote for ABU (Anything But UMNO), even if the candidate is a monkey, because the Chinese-based DAP party can no longer contest in the 14th general election.

But would not that mean DAP will be neither with a state seat nor a parliamentary seat? Not at all.

Back in 2013, it was the fear that ethnic-Malay voters would vote for a DAP candidate forced to park under PAS (Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party) flag that Najib regime made the spectacular U-turn, which allowed DAP to use its rocket symbol eventually.

Likewise, this time DAP candidates can park under PKR,AMANAH or PPRM flag. Heck, they could even run under “Independent” ticket. There’s no law that says independent candidate cannot form a state government in Penang. And there’s certainly no law that says a DAP member cannot contest under an “Independent” symbol.

Sure, due to confusion, DAP candidates contesting under symbols other than a rocket would probably lose some Chinese votes. But the loss would be smaller than the losses of Malay votes for UMNO because now, without the threat of Chinese-DAP, they could cast freely and widely to other opposition Malay-based political parties – PKR, AMANAH and PPRM.

DAP should just play along, drag their feet and refuse to comply with RoS’ order. By complying with RoS’ political-motivated order, it would be an admission that DAP had indeed conducted their election illegally. Why should DAP give RoS the satisfaction of screwing them, over and over again? Play the perception game and perhaps RoS might make another U-turn.

DAP should cry victim and use it as a weapon during election campaign. RoS’ latest action provides a great tool to rally the Chinese. It’s also a great tool to persuade the conservative Malay to vote freely against UMNO. However, DAP needs to quickly launch their plan-B. Eventually, the desperate Najib might launch a last-minute stunt – declaring DAP as an illegal organization.– Ft,MCA
