Ketua Dewan Pemuda PAS Wilayah Persekutuan Kamaruzaman Mohamad berkata, rakyat masih tidak boleh melupakan bagaimana kerajaan Umno BN memperlakukan kerajaan Pakatan Rakyat negeri Perak yang juga dipilih secara sah melalui pilihan raya.
"Peristiwa rampasan kerajaan Perak pada tahun 2009 yang lalu masih segar dalam ingatan semua rakyat Malaysia.
"Ianya adalah jelas merupakan suatu tindakan di luar pilihanraya dan pengecut. Bagaimana beliau boleh mencabar kejantanan orang lain sedangkan diri sendiri sudah hilang kejantanannya awal-awal lagi," soal beliau.
Beliau mengulas kenyataan Najib semalam yang mendakwa rakyat yang hadir menyertai himpunan aman Bersih 3.0 di Dataran Merdeka pada 28 April lalu adalah satu percubaan untuk menggulingkan kerajaan yang dipilih melalui pilihan raya.
Najib mendakwa tindakan itu menunjukkan pihak yang terlibat tidak menghormati kerajaan yang dipilih oleh rakyat menerusi proses yang sah.
Mengulas lanjut, Kamaruzaman berkata kenyataan Najib itu berniat jahat dan cuba menghasut rakyat membenci pembangkang sedangkan himpunan Bersih 3.0 tempoh hari adalah demi menuntut pilihan raya yang bebas.
Menurutnya, perhimpunan Bersih 3.0 yang lalu menyaksikan puluhan ribu rakyat hadir dengan hanya duduk dan bantah sahaja di Dataran Merdeka.
Insiden kekasaran dan belasah hanya terjadi selepas berlakunya provokasi-provokasi liar daripada pihak-pihak tertentu sehingga mewujudkan suasana tegang.
"Sekiranya Bersih 3.0 ingin melakukan kudeta atau ingin menggulingkan kerajaan, sudah tentulah permohonan permit untuk menggunakan Dataran Merdeka tidak akan dipohon.
"Ianya suatu analogi yang cukup mudah namun amat payah difahami oleh Datuk Seri Najib. Bersih tidak memerlukan 2,3 hari untuk berhimpun kerana rekod sebelum ini pun hanya memadai sahaja setakat jam 5 petang sahaja," katanya.
Sehubungan itu, beliau turut mencabar Najib untuk lakukanlah reformasi pilihanraya dengan mengadakan proses pilihanraya secara adil dan telus jika perdana menteri benar-benar anak jantan.
"Di kala itu, baru lah diketahui anak jantan yang bertanding atau hanya anak siput yang pandai buat tidak tahu," katanya.- harakahdaily

Admitting that Bersih 3.0 rally was no doubt the biggest and the most violent in its series, former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has predicted that future Bersih rallies would be even bigger and more violent.
“There would then be more demonstrations, perhaps bigger and more violent. Demands would be made for new elections to be held, or for the Election Commission to be disbanded and a new Commission set up,” he said in his blog posted yesterday.
He said seeing how repeated anti-government demonstrations have brought down ruling regimes in the Arab countries, PAS’ mursyidul Am and Kelantan Menteri Besar Nik Aziz Nik Mat now had declared that over-throwing the government through demonstration is ‘halal’.
“Obviously PAS is already contemplating Bersih-type violent demonstrations as a way of seizing power if it loses the 13th General Elections.
“The country will then suffer from violent demonstrations frequently. This will affect business and growth. Already Nik Aziz considers the present Government as oppressive and dictatorial and it is right to overthrow it,” said Mahathir, the longest serving Malaysian Prime Minister.
He said when this happens, the attention of the world would be sought and the Western press would be co-opted to paint as black a picture as possible of the people’s opposition to the democratically elected Government.
The support of foreign governments and NGOs would come in as we see in the Arab countries and their agenda would be different but they would see opportunities for pushing their regime change, for putting their candidate in power as Prime Minister, he added.
“This possibility is not far-fetched. The average Malaysian always think what happens in other countries will not happen here. But the Bersih 3 demonstration shows it can happen here.
“We know that almost every demonstration in Malaysia has been organised by (PKR de facto leader) Anwar (Ibrahim). Now he is teaming up with Nik Aziz. Both see much to be gained by seizing power through unconstitutional means.
“And when they are in power we can kiss goodbye to peace, stability and economic growth in this beloved country,” said Dr Mahathir.
‘Courts did not favour government’
On Bersih’s demand for clear and fair elections, he said the lack of consistency and absence of any pattern in the results of the elections held so far showed that the elections were not fixed or manipulated.
“There were the usual accusations of foul play from both the Government party and the opposition and some of these went to the courts.
“The courts also did not show special favour for the Government party through their decision. There was no proven case of Government manipulation or hanky-panky in any of the cases.
“All indicators point to reasonably fair conduct of the elections by the Election Commission. The Government could not rig or influence the EC,” he added.
He said when compared to advanced democracies it “would be very clear that the results of elections in Malaysia were quite similar to them”.
“The margins are never extreme one way or another,” he said.
He also predicted that in the 13th General Election, the opposition would win a fair number of seats in the state and federal levels.
“Almost certainly Kelantan would go to PAS. There would be great difficulty for BN to win back the States it had lost.
“So why the demonstrations and the demands for the elections to be clean and fair?
“Should the opposition lose in the states or at the federal levels, then one can safely assume that the opposition will claim that the government had not conducted the elections fairly, that the Government cheated,” said Dr Mahathir.-FMT

The country’s longest serving prime minister predicted doom for Malaysia should this alleged attempt succeed, telling citizens that they could then “kiss goodbye peace, stability and economic growth in this beloved country”.
Dr Mahathir’s remarks, made in a blog posting yesterday, appears in tandem with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s claim that Bersih 3.0 was not merely a movement to demand clean elections but an attempt to overthrow the current government.
But Dr Mahathir, who has issued repeated warnings that foreign powers plan on affecting a regime change in Malaysia, went a step further than Najib by suggesting the union between Anwar and the elderly Kelantan Mentri Besar Nik Aziz.
“This possibility is not far-fetched,” he warned. “The average Malaysian always think what happens in other countries will not happen here.”
“But the Bersih 3 demonstration shows it can happen here.”
He alleged that Nik Aziz, in seeing how anti-government protests in Arab countries had successfully toppled administrations, has now declared that overthrowing governments through demonstrations is “halal”.
“Obviously, PAS is already contemplating Bersih-type violent demonstrations as a way of seizing power if it loses the 13th general election.
“The country will then suffer from violent demonstrations frequently. This will affect business and growth,” he said.
Dr Mahathir went on to claim that it was commonly known that it was Anwar who has organised “almost every demonstration” in Malaysia, appearing to disagree with the federal opposition’s repeated denials that Bersih 3.0 was a purely apolitical movement.
“Now, he (Anwar) is teaming up with Nik Aziz. Both see much to be gained by seizing power through unconstitutional means,” he said.
Dr Mahathir also predicted that in the leaders’ grand plans to seize power, the foreign media would be co-opted to “paint as black a picture as possible” of the people’s opposition to the present government.
Support from foreign governments and non-governmental organisations, he added, would pour in, much like it purportedly had in the Arab uprisings.
“Their agendas would be different but they would see opportunities for pushing their regime change, for putting their candidate in power as prime minister,” Dr Mahathir wrote.
Foreign media reports of Bersih’s demonstrations have painted the Malaysian authorities in a negative light for their purportedly hard-handed tactics in attempting to disperse protesters.
The Bersih 3.0 rally, which had begun peacefully enough, resulted in much the same way as Bersih 2.0 last July 9, with riot police seen chasing citizens down the streets of the capital amid the chaotic mix of clouds of tear gas, chemical-laced water and warning bells from police trucks.
The electoral reforms movement has continued to show its dissatisfaction with the government’s attempts and promises to reform the country’s election processes, despite the formation of a parliamentary panel to look into the matter.
What Bersih has been demanding is that all aspects of the country’s polls processes, particularly the present electoral roll, be cleaned in order to ensure that the government is democratically elected into power.
But Dr Mahathir insisted in his blog posting that Bersih’s fears are unfounded, as “Malaysian elections have been cleaner than those in the authoritarian countries where results have always been obviously fixed”.
In Malaysia, he pointed out, entire states have fallen, numerous times into the hands of opposition parties, an outcome that is unlikely if the polls process is rigged.
“At different elections throughout independence, different states were won by the opposition.
“Kelantan voted for the opposition in 1964 and 1969. In 1974 when PAS joined the Barisan Nasional (BN), Kelantan was won by BN but continued to remain under PAS. It was lost to the BN only in 1978 but reverted to the opposition in subsequent elections.
“Penang went to the opposition in 1969. Sabah was also lost to the opposition in one of the elections.
“The worst result... was in 2008 when BN lost five states and one federal territory,” Dr Mahathir recounted.
As such, the still-influential leader predicted that the coming
polls, said likely to be held soon, would continue to see federal
opposition sweeping a fair number of seats.
“Almost certainly Kelantan would go to PAS. There would be great
difficulty for BN to win back the states it had lost,” he said.
