Fitnah & kelentong MP Kepala Batas....

Cant even differentiate between Lim and Lee,wonder how she got her PhD?...

PAS Kepala Batas MP given 48hrs to prove 'Guan Eng related to Chin Peng' claim...

Lim Guan Eng has given a PAS lawmaker 48 hours to prove he is related to Communist Party of Malaya (CPM) leader Ong Boon Hua, popularly known by his nom de guerre Chin Peng, and Singapore’s first prime minister Lee Kuan Yew. The DAP chairperson said Siti Mastura Muhammad has until Nov 9 to furnish the evidence in relation to her allegation which was made during a recent PAS programme in Terengganu.

Siti Mastura (above), who is the Kepala Batas MP, also claimed that Lim is related to other DAP leaders such as secretary-general Anthony Loke, Nga Kor Ming, Ngeh Koo Ham and Teresa Kok. “This is not just a personal attack but has racial undertones as well. It is a spiteful allegation against my father (DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang) and me.

“I wish to stress that I have no family ties with Loke or Teresa. My wife has no family ties with them. No family ties with Nga or Ngeh (who are cousins). “What is most important is that I have no family ties with Chin Peng and Kuan Yew,” he added.

The Bagan MP said his father continues to be targeted by PAS leaders despite having retired from politics. “This is another example of PAS’ politics of extremism and slander,” he said, adding that PAS leaders continue to raise such matters despite knowing them to be untrue.

Furthermore, Lim said the surnames are also different and if there are Malaysians not aware of surnames, then it is akin to being a “katak dibawah tempurung (living in ignorance)”.

“I think she knew what she said (was false). Hopefully, she can show proof. If she fails to do so, we will take action,” he added.

‘Disgusting politics’

On the same note, Lim said the authorities should not turn a blind eye to this “serious” issue which has the potential to create fissures among races. “Let us not continue with this form of disgusting politics. We should (argue) based on facts instead of vile slander,” he added. This is not the first time PAS has linked DAP leaders to communists.

In April, Kit Siang demanded PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang to prove that the former is linked to communists. He also told Hadi that a communist is not the “devil’s incarnate”, noting how Xi Jinping, the president of Communist China, brokered the Saudi Arabia-Iran deal. The PAS president had claimed that communists joined DAP as a cover after having nowhere to hide in the jungles.

Meanwhile the PAS MP under fire for claiming existing family ties between Bagan MP Lim Guan Eng and former Communist Party of Malaya (CPM) leader Ong Boon Hua - also known as Chin Peng, as well as Singapore’s first prime minister Lee Kuan Yew, has refused to provide evidence of her claims.

In Parliament, Kepala Batas MP Siti Mastura Muhammad today attempted to evade reporters waiting outside the MP’s lounge to seek her response to Lim’s demand for evidence, made earlier today. “My answer, watch the video until the end,” said Siti Mastura,as she continued to walk away. “Watch the video until the end,” she insisted. Again asked if she would respond to Lim's demand for evidence within 48 hours, she said, “I don’t need to answer a question that does not know the facts.”

Earlier, Lim said Siti Mastura has until Nov 9 to furnish evidence in relation to her allegation which was made during a recent PAS programme in Terengganu. Mastura made the claim in her 46-minute speech to PAS’ women and young women wing members from Kemaman PAS, ahead of the upcoming Kemaman parliamentary by-election.

Aside from alleged family relations with Ong and Lee, Siti Mastura also claimed that Lim is related to other DAP leaders such as secretary-general Anthony Loke, Nga Kor Ming, Ngeh Koo Ham, and Teresa Kok.

“This is not just a personal attack but has racial undertones as well. It is a spiteful allegation against my father (DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang) and me,” Lim told reporters in Parliament this morning. Lim also said he would take further action should Mastura fail to prove her claims. - mk

LGE, no need to warn her. Just sue her for RM100 millions for the lies and you will be RM100 richer. The only tactic in this party is to tell lies after lies to deceive their followers in order to keep them under control. They never tell their followers in those northern states to work hard to earn a living, learn new skill, respect other races, etc.Sue this MP until she is bankrupt. - Gen12v3

Didn't Islam taught it's followers not to lie & slander..? As people's representatives they cannot simply spew nonsense.MPs need to uphold their position as parliamentarians, provide facts when talking, show proof. These people shouting in parliament and telling lies on ceramah circuits are not fit as MPs.No dignity, their actions are worst than the garbage collectors. - My2cen

Saman saja YB Lim... Tak boleh biar kan politician suka-suka cakap kosong, bohong, buat tuduhan tak berasas... Ahli politik orang biasa saja pon takde hak istimewa untuk buruk an dan jatuh kan orang lain... Ajar MP muda ni supaya bertanggungjawab. Cakap memang senang, free tapi kalau dah bohong, buruk kan reputasi orang lain dan bertujuan jahat dan racist mesti di ajar... Biar dia terkial-kial bayar denda/pampasan... - Anonymous

Honestly I hate stupid MP's and I despise such politicians who say lies in front of their supporters at political meetings or even in Parliament. I think they’re the worst possible group that can exist in our society who brainwash their poor electrorates . I think Malaysia would be better off if such stupid people are not elected as peoples representatives. They are a drag on society. - EmEmKay

If she didn’t open her mouth, you might excuse her as a timid PAS MP. The minute she open her mouth, it shows how stupid and brainless she really is. - Thunderbolt

A coward she is.Watch her (above) and see how timid she is when faced with MPs seeking explanations for her speech...

MP Kepala Batas nampak sangat tengah ketakutan. Sampai tak beri orang nak mencelah. Bukan setakat tak beri mencelah, dia tak berhenti bercakap pun.

Dia tahu tak ada fakta nak back up pernyataan dia. Jadi dia tahu ia fitnah.

Sekarang video dah tersebar. Agaknya masa ni dia tengah cuak sambil gigit kuku. Terbayang saman yang akan dihadapi. Nak minta maaf, tercalar ego. Nak hadap, kalah itu pasti. Serba salah jadinya. Apa nak risau. Walaun dungu ramai. Letak je tabung Milo. Berebut walaun letak duit nanti untuk bantu bayar saman. Buat style Dusuki.

Lain kali, nak bercakap tu tapis la dulu guna otak. - Raja Gelap II

Lebai berserban tapi hati busuk,
mengaku ulamak tapi jahat yang tak bertepi...

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim this morning lashed out at the PAS ulama chief for alleging that Putrajaya is being apologetic in its stand on the Palestinian cause. Calling Ahmad Yahaya “biadab” (insolent), Anwar stressed that the government had always been unequivocal in supporting Palestine.

This, he said, was contrary to Ahmad’s claim in an article published by PAS mouthpiece Harakah Daily yesterday. The article was accompanied by a photo of Anwar with an image of the Israeli flag placed behind him.

“Every day, we work on this case... We asked the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation) to hold a meeting, and (asked them to) involve China, Russia, Brazil, Ireland, and Bolivia. “We discussed with Japan Prime Minister (Fumio) Kishida, with Netherlands Prime Minister (Mark) Rutte. And this week, we have another meeting with the Chinese vice-president. “But (Ahmad) could simply have made such a rude and insolent statement,” Anwar said during the Prime Minister’s Question Time.

In the Harakah article, Ahmad (Perikatan Nasional-Pokok Sena) alleged that the government was apologetic on the Palestine issue after it was pressured by certain quarters and parties within the government coalition. The PAS leader also claimed that the government has started to change its tone in regard to Palestine freedom fighters to follow the narrative set by Israel and the West.

The prime minister said he would not hesitate to take “strong action” against anyone who repeats such accusations in the future. “Listen carefully to what I am going to say. So that the (PAS) ulama chief won’t use Harakah to link me to Israel again.

“That was such an insolent statement that is indecent. It was an illegitimate slander (by someone) wearing ‘serban’ (Islamic headgear), and I strongly object to it. “If anyone repeats this claim in the future, I will take strong action,” Anwar said.

'Make correction'

During a later part of the session, Ahmad explained to Anwar that his statement published by Harakah was not meant as an allegation. Instead, the ulama chief claimed that he was merely posing a question about the government's stand on Palestine. Thus, he would like Anwar to retract his 'insolent' remark.

"It was a question, not an allegation. It’s like any other question that Tambun (Anwar) had responded to before this. "So now we are clear about the government's position, which is the same position that we (the opposition) take in supporting Palestine. "Therefore, I would like to ask you to retract your remark calling me rude and insolent," Ahmad told Anwar.

To this, Anwar said he accepted the Pokok Sena MP's explanation and agreed to move on from the issue. However, the prime minister explained that he was angry because Harakah had placed an Israeli flag behind his photo, which he took as an insult.

"You must understand. You are very angry with Israel, and so am I. When (Harakah) did this to me, even without a caption... "I think Harakah can make a correction. I’m fine if you want to reprimand me or criticise me, I can accept. "But don't do this," Anwar said.

Malaysiakini learned that Harakah had since changed the photo it used in the online article. Checks on its online portal show that the main photo no longer uses Anwar and Ahmad's image. - mk
