Teka-teki mengenai siapa dalang sebenar yang membocorkan soalan Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) 2014 bakal terjawap esok apabila dua orang guru akan dituduh di Mahkamah Sesyen Seremban kerana terbabit dalam kejadian itu.
Kedua-dua guru terbabit akan didakwa mengikut Seksyen 28(3) Akta Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia 1980 pada jam 2 petang Rabu.
Jika sabit kesalahan, mereka boleh dipenjara hingga tiga tahun atau denda hingga RM10,000 atau kedua-duanya sekali.
Timbalan Ketua Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah (JSJ) Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen (IPK) Kuala Lumpur, Asisten Komisioner Khairi Ahrasa ketika dihubungi The Rakyat Post mengesahkan dua guru terbabit akan didakwa di mahkamah berkenaan esok.
Pada 17 dan 18 September lalu, tiga guru termasuk seorang wanita ditahan di Negeri Sembilan bagi membantu siasatan berhubung kes kebocoran kertas soalan subjek Sains, Bahasa Inggeris dan Matematik UPSR.
Mereka ialah seorang guru lelaki berusia 34 tahun yang ditahan di Seremban manakala seorang lagi yang berusia 36 tahun ditahan di Mantin.
Seorang guru wanita berusia 24 tahun pula ditahan di Labu.
Ketika ditahan, polis turut merampas beberapa peralatan telekomunikasi daripada mereka.
Sebelum itu orang ramai di seluruh negara berang apabila lebih 470,000 murid tahun enam terpaksa menduduki semula peperiksaan bagi mata pelajaran Sains dan Bahasa Inggeris, UPSR setelah kertas soalan mata pelajaran berkenaan didapati dibocorkan beberapa individu tidak bertanggungjawab.
Kertas Sains UPSR yang dijadualkan pada 11 September didapati bocor sehari sebelumnya, manakala soalan bagi kertas Bahasa Inggeris juga didapati disebarkan di laman media sosial sehari sebelum hari peperiksaan.
Turut bocor ialah soalan bagi mata pelajaran Matematik dan Bahasa Tamil.
Semasa siasatan dijalankan pihak polis, 30 individu termasuk lapan orang pegawai Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia (LPM), 19 orang guru, seorang pegawai Kementerian Pelajaran, seorang jurutera, dan seorang wartawan telah disoal siasat.
Ekoran kejadian itu juga yang pada mulanya dikatakan satu tindakan sabotaj, Ketua LPM, Dr Na’imah Ishak dan timbalannya Dr Wan Ilias Wan Salleh digantung kerja.- therakyatpost
2 teachers to be charged for leaking UPSR papers...
Two teachers will be charged at the Seremban Session Court here tomorrow for leakage of the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) 2014 examination papers.
Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department (CID) deputy chief Assistant Commissioner Khairi Ahrasa confirmed that two male teachers aged 34 and 36 years old will be brought to court at 2pm.
He said they are to be charged under Section 28 (3) of the Malaysian Examinations Council Act 1980 (Act 225) for leaking examination papers.
If convicted both are liable to a fine not exceeding RM10,000or to a term of imprisonment not exceeding three years or to both.
Both were arrested separately at two location in Negri Sembilan, the 34-year-old on Sept 17 in Seremban at 8pm and the other on Sept 18 in Mantin, at 12:15am.
A total of 14 people - 12 teachers, an insurance agent and an engineer - had been detained and questioned by the police.
They were freed on police bail on Sept 22.
The UPSR saga started in mid-September when it was reported that the Science and English papers were leaked.
This was followed by leaks in the Tamil and Mathematics exam papers.
Police have so far recorded statements from 30 individuals, comprising 19 teachers, eight officers from the Malaysian Examinations Board (MEB), an officer from a ministry, a journalist and an engineer.
The leak, which triggered outrage from parents, saw 473,175 pupils from 8,384 primary schools nationwide re-sitting for English and Science papers on Sept 30, while the candidates re-sat the Mathematics and Tamil language papers on Oct 9 after the Malaysian Examinations Syndicate confirmed that they had been leaked. - nst
