Betoi apa Mahathir kata, Najib tu kaki kelentong...

Najib, hentikan penipuan mengenai 1MDB...

Setiausaha Publisiti Kebangsaan DAP Tony Pua mendesak Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak berhenti bohong rakyat, sebaliknya mula memberi penjelasan mengenai situasi sebenar 1MDB.

“ Saya mohon Najib hentikan bohong rakyat.

Even primary school pupil can see Najib is lying...

I cannot help by be amazed by how the Malaysian prime minister could tell such a big lie with such a straight face, and fully expected the audience to believe him hook, line and sinker.

Yesterday, Najib Razak to hundreds of Umno Selangor members in Klang that "the (1MDB) RM42 billion is not lost. There, the 70 acres Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) and 500 acres Bandar Malaysia lands."

Firstly, are the 70 acres of TRX and 500 acres of Bandar Malaysia worth even anything remotely close to RM42 billion?

Based on the latest available financial statements of 1MDB as at March 31, 2014, the two parcels of land are worth only RM5.83 billion.  How could RM5.83 billion be boasted and inflated to justify 1MDB’s RM42 billion debt?

Secondly, Najib Razak failed to inform the audience that the respective piece of land was purchased for only RM194 million and RM1.67 billion from the government.

The cost to 1MDB was a meagre total of RM1.86 billion! And yet, the prime minister, who is also the chairman of 1MDB’s board of advisors has the nerve to boast that the RM42 billion in 1MDB isn’t lost because of these two sweetheart deals purchased for less than RM2 billion.

Still RM28bil short

To be fair to 1MDB, the company did purchase another piece of expensive land for RM1.27 billion in Penang.  It also acquired three independent power producers valued at RM10.9 billion in 1MDB’s books.

However, even if you add up all of the above “investments” - RM1.86 billion, RM1.27 billion and RM10.9 billion, it only totals up to RM14.0 billion.  That leaves a whopping RM28 billion out of the RM42 billion debt completely unaccounted for.

A primary school student would have been able to do the maths can call out Najib’s big bluff.

Unfortunately, perhaps the Umno president thought his Umno brethren in Selangor are easy targets to delude and deceive. The prime minister even put up the false bravado that “If I am a rich man, I would buy a land at the prime area because I know the value (of the land) in 20 years.”

Well, Mr Prime Minister, if I were a rich man and you offered me the Bandar Malaysia and TRX land for the rock bottom price of RM74 and RM64 per square foot respectively, which are the prices 1MDB paid, I would bite your hands off too.  I won’t need you to give me such ‘perceptive’ advice.

Former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohammed is absolutely right when he told fellow Umno members in Ipoh yesterday that Najib “never speaks the truth, always lies”.  He even asked of Najib, “how to be a leader?”

We call upon the prime minister to stop lying to Malaysians.  He must explain with solid evidence where did the rest of 1MDB’s RM42 billion has gone, after deducting the RM14 billion of real estate and energy companies.

At this point of time, the only perceivable reason why 1MDB is unable to service or repay its debt, is because the rest of the RM28 billion are either locked into worthless paper assets, or have vanished altogether. - mk

Lanun dulu melanun lautan,Lanun sekarang melanun Perbendaharaan...

Sekarang Najib sibuk ungkit dia keturunan bugis.

You allow 1MDB to rake up debt papers which are asset-less. itu kerja pembohongan. Memperdagang kertas2 IOU.

Ariff Sabri bin Hj. Where’s the balance of RM27bn 1MDB money...

A news report quoted our Prime Minister as saying that “the RM42 billion was not lost; the money was now part of the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) and Bandar Malaysia land bank”.

In accounting we learned that when we borrow money, the liability side is represented by the debts we owe while the asset side is represented either by cash in bank or the assets we bought through the borrowing we obtained.

In this occasion, I wish to refer to what Tun Dr Mahathir wrote about 1MDB on April 23 which also appeared in some of the news portals.

Essentially what he said and asked were as follow:

Total initial borrowings of 1MDB amounted to 42 billion Ringgit. As far as can be ascertained the investments were as follows:

(i) Purchase of Tanjong Energy (now known as Powertek Energy Sdn Bhd) from Ananda Krishnan for RM8.5 billion. This is higher than market price. The licence was about to expire.

(ii) Purchase of Genting Sanyen Power (now known as Kuala Langat Power Plant) for RM 2.3 billion. Again above market price. The licence was about to expire.

(iii) Purchase of Jimah Energy for RM 1.2 billion.

(iv) Purchase of 70 acres of land in Jalan Tun Razak for RM320 million i.e: RM64 psf.

(v) Purchase of 495 acres of land in the former Sungai Besi TUDM airport (now known as Bandar Malaysia) about RM 363.5 million i.e: at RM 91 psf.

(vi) Purchase of 234 acres of land in Air Itam in Penang for RM 1.38 billion i.e: at RM135 psf.

According to him, these are known purchases the total value of which add up to RM14.7 billion. So there is approximately 27 billion Ringgit still unaccounted for.

Our PM’s statement said RM42 billion is now part of the TRX and Bandar Malaysia.

Are we supposed to accept that the balance of RM27 billion is now invested in these two pieces of land?

We know that TRX and Bandar Malaysia lands were given to 1MDB for a song. We also know that revaluation of assets requires no financial outlay.

What improvements or enhancements have been made to the lands to account for the balance of RM27 billion? Are there office towers or residential condominium buildings being constructed? If so, at what stage is the construction?

Surely we need more convincing and credible explanations on the whereabouts of the remaining RM27 billion than just “the money was now part of the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) and Bandar Malaysia land bank”.

I think these are very straight forward questions which need no auditor reports to provide the answers.- TK Chua,FMT

cheers.
