Kerajaan tiada masalah membenarkan perhimpunan BERSIH 3.0 dilangsungkan seperti dirancang selagi penganjur mematuhi Akta Perhimpunan Aman 2011 dan tidak menimbulkan sebarang gangguan.
Menteri Dalam Negeri Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein berkata, atas semangat akta yang baru digubal itu, kerajaan tidak akan melarangnya.
Hishammuddin berkata demikian dalam sidang media di lobi Parlimen di ibu negara hari ini.

in Parliament that the “sit-in” rally for free and fair elections,
scheduled for this April 28 at Dataran Merdeka here, is not considered a
“security issue”.
“The government does not see plans for Bersih 3.0 as a security issue and we are allowing them to have it,” he said.
But he stressed that in accordance with the spirit of the just-passed Peaceful Assembly Act 2011, street protests are still considered outlawed.
"They can assemble, but don't inconvenience the public or disrupt public order," Home Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said at a press conference in the Parliament lobby today.
However, when asked twice about the rally organiser's plans to use Dataran Merdeka as the venue, Hishammuddin did not provide a direct answer.
"Talk to the police and find a more suitable venue that would not cause any disruption to the public," said Hishammuddin.
The Bersih 2.0 committee recently announced that its next rally for electoral reform will be held at 2pm on April 28, at Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur.
The theme of the rally, dubbed Bersih 3.0, is ‘ Duduk Bantah’ (sit-down protest), and will be held simultaneously nationwide.
The green NGO coalition Himpunan Hijau will hold its protest against the Lynas Advanced Materials Plant (Lamp) in Gebeng, Pahang, alongside Bersih 3.0.
