Sex video: Police take Eskay’s DNA sample...

Businessperson Shazryl Eskay Abdullah, one of the 'Datuk Trio' involved in releasing the infamous sex video, has given the police a sample of his DNA to assist investigations.

"I was called this morning to come in for further questioning and I have also willingly surrendered my DNA sample," he said.

Eskay, met today at the police headquarters at Bukit Aman, Kuala Lumpur, said he was also asked several questions "relevant to the case".

He, however, refused to disclose the nature of the questions, saying that it was merely to "tighten the case". Eskay also declined to reveal why he had to provide his DNA sample. The businessman arrived at the police headquarters at 10am this morning and left at about 1.15pm.

"I will answer all questions tomorrow at a press conference. I called you today just to tell you that I have willingly given my DNA... you know that I will always give you my cooperation," he said, smiling.

Eskay, Risda chairperson Rahim Thamby Chik and now former Perkasa treasurer Shuib Lazim had on March 21 aired the video to journalists at luxury hotel Carcosa Seri Negara.

The 22-minute video shows a man who resembled Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim having sex with a woman, said to be a sex worker.

'Why hasn't Eskay been arrested?'

In related development, DAP Parliamentary Leader Lim Kit Siang has slammed deputy police chief Khalid Abu Bakar for his threat yesterday to expose the sex video 'performer'. According to Lim, the more pressing matter is why the trio have not been charged for the public screening of obscene material.

“The public are outraged and aghast that, after more than a month, Datuk T…have not been charged in court for various crimes…(to) which they had confessed more than a month ago,” he said. By ignoring this, he said, the police are lending credence to suspicion that the force is working hand in glove with the BN.

“There are Umno-BN elements who want to play 'political games' with the sex tape but why should the police compromise its image and reputation by descending so low as to be co-opted into the cast of Umno-BN theatrics against Pakatan Rakyat and Anwar?”

Lim also questioned why the police have been silent over the open letter by its former Kuala Lumpur criminal investigations department chief Mat Zain Ibrahim who claimed that there was another sex video linked to Anwar in 1999. The retired officer said there was reason to believe that the first video which he had investigated 12 years ago is linked with the one screened in March.

“Why is there total silence from Inspector-General of Police Ismail Omar and the deputy IGP (over) the past 10 days (following) Mat Zain's open letter dated April 18, when the duo are so prepared to comment on various matters under the sun?” asked Lim.

Polis mahu lindungi Datuk T, usaha kenakan Anwar

Eskay beri polis sampel DNA

Video seks: Eskay beri polis sampel DNA

1. What is the purpose of Eskay's DNA and how relevant is it to the video clip? Maybe to prove Anwar's DNA is on the Omega watch.

2. By asking Eskay to provide his DNA,is the Police trying to entice Anwar to provide his DNA too?

3. But, my RM 1 million question is why Eskay hasnt been held for the making, showing and distributing of porno video, though he surrendered voluntarily to the police.

4. Did Police took DNA sample from the china doll?

5. Yesterday,Police said that they will not hesitate to expose to the public if necessary “the performer” in the sex video. Maybe the Police will issue a statement soon that the Police will arrest Eskay,Rahim Thamby Chik and Shuib Lazim if necessary.

Any idiot can tell that the Police are playing politics here...

cheers.
