While our police are busy arresting innocent people who wants to vent their frustration thru peaceful demos. Police also are stopping people from talking about Altantuya and the Perak political crisis in public, they arrest you under sedition act etc,etc.... Meanwhile the alongs are making headlines by detaining their debtors against their will. How safe are we in Malaysia?
In the 2009 Global Corruption Barometer (GCB), 42 per cent of Malaysians said that political parties are the most corrupt institution, followed closely by the civil service at 37 per cent. In Malaysia, UMNO is the most corrupted of them all right from the ketua cawangan to its own president..............
Despite the move to give further powers to the national anti-graft squad when it was converted from the Anti-Corruption Agency to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), 67 per cent of Malaysians still feel the government has been ineffective in dealing with corruption. Well, MACC acted fast in Kak Min's case, while we are still in the dark to whether MACC has started its probe on Khir Toyo's Disneyland leisure trip..........
