Menteri air suam yang order rupanya...

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has confirmed that the purchase of 104 ventilators during Dr Adham Baba’s tenure as health minister was made without a written agreement, as reported in the PAC’s previous report.

This was confirmed by PAC chairman Mas Ermieyati Samsudin at a press conference regarding the report on Putrajaya’s Covid-19 management, the expiry of vaccines, as well as unusable ventilators and personal protective equipment (PPE).

“As everyone already knows, all this (was done) under (then health minister) Dr Adham Baba.“YB KJ (former health minister Khairy Jamaluddin) already gave his statement, saying it was not during his time (as the health minister),” she said at a press conference in Parliament.

On Monday, the PAC disclosed that no action could be taken over the defective ventilators supplied to the government, following the absence of a written agreement between the health ministry and Pharmaniaga Logistics Sdn Bhd (PLSB). The PAC also revealed that there were a total of 8.5 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines, worth RM505 million, which expired on June 1, 2023.

Mas Ermieyati said the health ministry was given two months to respond to the five recommendations given by the PAC, to address the shortcomings found in the management of the Covid-19 outbreak. “In every issue investigated by the PAC, two reports will be prepared, and these two reports will go through five meetings before they can be presented in Parliament.

“This shows how committed the PAC is to ensuring that the people know what the government is doing with regards to all the recommendations raised by the PAC,” she said. - fmt

Saifuddin smash Takiyuddin...

Seronok tengok Saifuddin Nasution ayam-ayamkan Taki. Konon Taki nak ungkit tentang penghapusan Akta Hasutan. Siap kata PH dah lama sebut tentang tu.

Sendiri tak mandi, nak kata orang lain busuk. Guane boh? - Raja Gelap II

Ini video jawapan penuh Saifuddin Nasution....

Bila walaun2 politikkan perkataan Maha...

One Jan to distract attention...

How does Bersatu supreme council member Wan Saiful Wan Jan (below) determine that Tiong was intoxicated? Did he receive divine revelation? Was the minister's blood alcohol level tested?
It's essential to refrain from infringing on others' rights and imposing personal beliefs and values.

Tiong has the freedom to drink, dance, and enjoy himself at a Chinese cultural event where no “holier than thou”Muslims were present. As long as he didn't cause public disturbance, his actions shouldn't be questioned. Tiong's honesty contrasts with those who claim piety yet are corrupt and morally compromised.- Kamsiah Haider

Meanwhile, a veteran activist has called on an opposition MP to apologise to tourism, arts and culture minister Tiong King Sing for her criticism of his public alcohol consumption and dancing at a Gawai festival last year. Peter John Jaban said the MP, who he did not name, had tarnished Tiong’s image by insinuating misconduct during his official duties. He also said the MP failed to recognise the advantage of Tiong’s non-Muslim status as a minister.

“Tiong, who is a non-Muslim, is in a position to do what a Muslim minister would not be able to do, and that is to bond with and to serve both the locals and tourists well by dining and drinking alcoholic drinks with those celebrating the Gawai festival,” he said in a statement today.

“Our Gawai festival is widely celebrated by all nationalities in Sarawak whereby our people believe in the drinking of tuak, dancing the ngajat and the Poco Poco on a wide scale. These traditions are adhered to appease the spirits, to thank them for a bountiful harvest and a better harvest in the coming year,” he pointed out in a media statement. “That is how the Dayaks celebrate their annual Gawai festival. Fun and party places always attract tourists. Most countries have resorts, bars, clubs and restaurants that cater to tourists.” - fmt
