Darurat kena kat dia...ptuiiiih !!!!!

Toksah bubaq Parlimen,darurat dah cukup,
janji aku masih kekal PM...

- TS

Media Statement from Ketua Pembangkang..
SINI dan SINI...

Najib robbed our money and
Din robbed the people’s mandate...

Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin will not make any live announcements tonight, the media was informed. This is after he met the Yang di-Pertuan Agong over the implementation of an "emergency".

However, it is not clear if there will be a statement forthcoming from the prime minister. It also understands that there will also likely be no statement from the palace tonight.

If a declaration of emergency also involved proroguing Parliament, then Muhyiddin will not have to put Budget 2021 to a vote on Nov 17 or face a possible no-confidence vote.

Muhyiddin had an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong at the Istana Abdulaziz in Kuantan, Pahang. The audience is to communicate the cabinet decision to propose the "dissolution of the Dewan Rakyat".

"His Majesty is expected to meet his brother rulers soon to get their views too but suffice to say, they will support any decision made by the King," a source told the daily. - mk

Malaysia Political Emergency...

The Cabinet Special Meeting which ended just now is said to be proposing the dissolution of the Dewan Rakyat and the ‘Political Emergency’ to the Yang Di Pertuan Agong to overcome political instability and avoid more conflicts in the next parliamentary session.

In a situation where the government has only 113 members of the Dewan Rakyat, the position of the Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is expected to always be the bet of other politicians. The Cabinet is said to have suggested that Muhyiddin present this proposal for the consideration of the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong.

Based on the current Covid-19 pandemic, the cabinet is said to be discussing the possibility of Tuanku considering a proposal to suspend Parliament and conduct an ‘administrative emergency’ for 6 months before the general election. The presence of the Commander of the Armed Forces, Gen Tan Sri Affendi Buang, in a special cabinet meeting today is said to be to get feedback on possible administrative emergencies.

This further strengthens the assumption that Tuanku Agong will consider the emergency as a temporary measure to stabilize the country’s politics. If this happens Tuanku Agong will take over the administration of the country with the advice of the emergency cabinet. It can be an existing cabinet or a new cabinet.

This declaration of emergency allows the government to incur emergency expenses without the need for Parliamentary approval. The current government is said to believe that the 2021 Budget to be tabled this November will not pass due to lack of majority support.

At the same time, this political emergency does not involve the government of the Malaysian Armed Forces like a security emergency. -SuaraTV
