Kusaini Kassim - "Kalau lambat tak tahu apa nasib saya..."

Bimbang jumlah anggota Baju Merah

"Saya bimbang sebab takut mereka tengah geram," katanya.

- mk
Bersih supporter attacked by red shirts shares ordeal...

A Bersih supporter who was attacked by red shirts supporters in Sabak Bernam has shared the distressing ordeal which occurred on Saturday.

Kusaini Kassim, who was egged and kicked repeatedly, expressed gratitude to the traffic officer who came to his rescue.

“Thank God a traffic cop came to save me although it took some time to remove me from the group.

“I don’t know what would have happened if he (the officer) had come later than that,” Kusaini told Malaysiakini.

The 49-year-old was part of the Bersih 5 convoy held around the Sabak Bernam area.

However, as he had a family event to attend, Kusaini and a friend went home earlier before the programme ended.

It was on his way back to his home in Bagan Terap that Kusaini encountered the red shirts supporters.

To avoid ploughing through the group, Kusaini decided to stop by the roadside. Kusaini’s friend, however, managed to turn back and did not follow his decision to stop.

However, as soon as he stopped his ER6 Kawasaki motorcycle, Kusaini found himself surrounded by red shirts.

“I suddenly fell after I stopped my motorcycle and they pulled my shoulder and pelted me with eggs,” he said.

Kusaini, who was worried that he would be attacked further, said that he did not retaliate and instead hoped that someone would come to his aid.

His worry was also heightened as he was alone in facing the many red shirts supporters.

Following the incident, Kusaini has since lodged a police report at the Sabak Bernam police station and has also undergone a health check.

“Everything seems fine as of now. I went for an X-ray scan, I feel okay now,” he said.

During the incident, a red shirts supporter gave him a flying kick to the back, sending him sprawling to the ground.

The police officer then broke through the crowd to assist the Bersih biker.

Kusaini was then kicked a second time by another individual from the back, while the police officer was calling for calm.

Later, he was escorted away from the scene, after which red shirts leader Jamal Md Yunos appeared and asked his followers to lift the man's bike. Jamal then personally handed the battered bike back to the cops.

Three people have since been arrested over the incident. - mk

Story kat SINI dan SINI

Two former employees of Swiss bank BSI were charged in the ongoing money-laundering probe in the scandal-hit 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

Senior private bankers Yak Yew Chee, 57, and Yvonne Seah Yew Foong, 45, were each charged with three charges of forgery and four charges of failing to report information on suspicious transactions to authorities, on Monday.

Both have posted bail of S$35,000 each and surrendered their passport. - the straits times

Ostb :  The story is MO1 went a-begging to Singapore to try and unfreeze some bank accounts with some of the stolen money inside.  The Singapore folks said 'We cant do that'.  Its against the law. Period.

The first Singapore trial - of this fellow called Yeow Jia Wei, a 33 year old punk - begins on 31st October which is 20 days away.  Yeo faces a total of 11 charges, but he is being tried on four charges first  "obstruction of justice, money laundering, cheating, forgery".

I am quite sure they have enough evidence to lock him away on these four charges.  This guy Yeo Jia Wei has NEVER been released on bail.  The Singaporeans have stated that he may try to influence, threaten or buy off other witnesses. My view is that they are afraid he may end up in an oil drum somewhere between the island and the mainland.

Buy plenty popcorn folks.  The US Elections are on Tues Nov 8th.  If Trump wins, the trial in Singapore will become even more centre stage.

The report says 'other individuals' are also being investigated. I think that includes Jho Low.  And that may also determine how fast those seven other charges against Yeo Jia Wei will pan out.  Because when (not if) Jho Low is brought to trial, Yeo can stand as witness against him.

Unless the US gets Jho Low first. That may take some time. The Thingy says Jho Low has gone into hiding - possibly in Taiwan.

The Swiss will want him as well.

Meanwhile Mama's Boy is said to be in town. Out of sight. But eventually they all make mistakes. They always slip up. They have already slipped up. - ostb

cheers.
