SRJK (T) Ladang Lambak, Kluang
SMK Alor Pasir, Tanah Merah
SK Lata Rek, Kuala Krai
SK Juara, Rompin
SK Luat, Lenggong

Police evidence ‘unsecured’

NONELooking at another item, the Auditor-General rebuked the police force for leaving evidence unmarked, unsealed and unsecured.

It reported that the Kuala Lumpur police contingent had left 12 pieces of jewellery and cash unlabelled.

Another 109 items were kept together in a safe without labels. The total estimated worth of all the items, which were not marked properly, was RM22,027.

The report says that the store where the evidence - relating to drug cases - was kept was “in disarray”.

NONEAuditors found that 38 cars in the Jinjang police store, confiscated as evidence in narcotics cases, were unregistered and left to deteriorate.

“There is risk of losing or misplacing the evidence. The vehicles endure rust as they are left to the elements, leading also to breeding of insects and endangerment to health,” adds the report.

Comments...

Anonymous_3fc4 - Aiyo AG sir, PDRM is too busy running errands for Putrajaya, they have to arrest people wearing Black or Yellow ma, so where got time to look after those evidence ??

VP Biden - Evidence unmarked??...But Anwars DNA sample was securely kept in Insp Jude Pereras drawer for 96 hrs.Pathetic lot led by a pathetic BN gomen !

Joe Lee - Is this what they mean by People First, Performance Now? It seems that it's more like People Last, Corruption Now! All the same there are still enough Malaysians (or more particularly Melayus) who would vote for UMNO. As bad as this year's AG report card, next year's, and the year after won't be that different. Yet Melayus, having lapped up for 50 years the UMNO con-trick of "Agama, Bangsa dan Negara", will continue to underwrite wholesale corruption of anything the government does. So what do we call this? 1MalaysiaBODOH!

cheers.
