Himpunan 8 Disember,merancang malang...

Hari ini PDRM sudah panggil mereka yang dianggap sebagai pemimpin gerakan anti ICERD ke Bukit Aman. Antara yang dipanggil termasuklah Zahid Hamidi, Polis patut panggil Haji Hadi juga sebab dia sama taraf politik dengan bomoh Ponorogo.

Dalang Himpunan ini mungkin banyak orang tahu. Kalau dia tidak bijak berpolitik, menyalak bukit, putarbelit kata-kata, banyak berlakon mungkin usia politiknya juga akan terbatas. Allah melanjutkan usia Tun M ada sebabnya. Allah berkati pimpinan Tun M kerana, pada ketika ini, hanya Tun M yg diberi amanah untuk memulihkan kembali kepimpinan negara yang diperkosai oleh maharaja perompak kelas cakrawala Najib Razak dan para matyeh-matyehnya.

Para pemimpin Himpunan 8 Disember dianggap sebagai ikan seluang mudik di pinggir kali. Allah tidak akan restui Himpunan ini kerana nawaitu mereka gelong, dan dipimpin oleh bomoh Ponorogo yang menunggu masa untuk bermukim di Sg Buloh dengan 45 kes jenayah sama tinggi dengan pokok kelapa di Bagan Datok, dan lebai keropok lekor yang pernah kafirkan UMNO tapi, setelah dimantra 'cash is king' sudah menyondol bawah ketiak UMNO yang asam.

Pejabat PM telah mengeluarkan kenyataan menolak menandatangani ICERD. Kalau UMNO, PAS dan NGO yang gian mengadakan juga perhimpunan itu maka jangan salah ibu mengandung kalau pihak berwajib menangkap para pemimpin dan mereka yg hadir kelak. Rakyat yg cinta damai dan perpaduan jangan menjadi kaldai, baghal, lembu dan kerbau menyertai perjumpaan ini. Najib, pasai apa arah pinda 

laporan audit 1MDB, jawablah...

Utusan, akhbar milik UMNO yang kini di bawah penguasaan Zahid Hamidi mendedahkan laporan audit 1MDB yang disediakan oleh Ketua Audit Negara pada 2016 lalu telah dipinda daripada laporan asalnya atas arahan Najib Razak.

Melalui sumber yang diperolehi Utusan, pindaan yang diarahkan Najib itu ialah untuk mengeluarkan maklumat berkenaan pembabitan beliau dan Jho Low dalam aktiviti perniagaan 1MDB.

Arahan pindaan itu dilaporkan dibuat dalam satu mesyuarat di Pejabat Perdana Menteri bersama Ketua Audit Negara, Ambrin Buang yang turut dihadiri Ketua Setiausaha Negara, Ali Hamsa, Ketua Pesuruhjaya SPRM, Dzulkifli Ahmad dan Ketua Setiausaha Sulit Perdana Menteri, Shukri Mohd Salleh.

Al-kisah 1MDB Jlo tipu Najib tipu rakyat...

Berikutan itu, Ketua Audit Negara sekarang, Madinah Mohamad dijangka akan membentangkan laporan audit asal 1MDB itu kepada  kabinet dalam masa yang terdekat dan seterusnya kepada  prosiding siasatan 1MDB oleh Jawatankuasa Kira-Kira Wang Negara atau PAC pada awal bulan depan. 

Adalah dipercayai pendedahan sumber tersebut kepada Utusan adalah susulan pengakuan Najib dalam satu temubual semalam bahawa beliau telah ditipu oleh Jho Low dalam urusniaga 1MDB.

Sumber itu dilaporkan pelik dengan pengakuan Najib itu kerana beliau sebenarnya bukan saja tahu mengenai urusniaga 1MDB, malah mengarahkan pindaan dilakukan terhadap laporan audit yang mengaitkan namanya dan Jho Low dalam urusniaga syarikat pelaburan sarat hutang dan penuh skandal itu.

Jadi, sekarang nampaknya Utusan milik UMNO sendiri pun sudah tidak percaya bahawa Najib telah ditipu oleh Jho Low sebagaimana yang disebutnya itu.

Apa pun,  bila agaknya Najib mahu memberi penjelasan berhubung pendedahan Utusan kali ini?

Biasanya bukan main cepat Najib memberi reaksi terhadap sesuatu isu yang timbul berkaitan dirinya dengan menggunakan laman FBnya, tetapi kenapa sehingga sekarang beliau belum muncul-muncul lagi dengan komennya berkaitan dakwaan pindaan terhadap laporan asal audit 1MDB yang dikatakan diarahkannya itu?

Buat pertama kalinya sejak skandal 1MDB terbongkar, Najib Razak semalam cuba menyalahkan Low Taek Jho atau Jho Low dengan mengisytiharkan bahawa ahli perniagaan dari Pulau Pinang yang dikehendaki itu mungkin menipu kerajaan dan menjadi dalang pengubahan dana syarikat pelaburan negara. Kenyataan Najib pada sesi wawancara dengan Sinar Harian membuatkan ramai yang mengatakan bekas perdana menteri itu akhirnya membuang Jho Low.

Ada yang percaya Najib Razak dalam keadaan terdesak dan cuba untuk meletakkan kesalahan kepada orang lain atau mengkambing hitamkan Jho Low demi melepaskan diri. Dapatkah Najib melepaskan dirinya dari pertuduhan sebagai penyamun terbesar dunia? - f/bk

More sensible approach towards ICERD...

The heat on the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD) is still on. Umno and PAS have teamed up against the signing of ICERD, making the issue a major social focus in this country.

The two parties have so far organized several protest rallies across the country, culminating in the December 8 gathering in the capital city. In the face of such rallies, it is advisable for the government and police to adopt a more liberal and open attitude towards rally-goers.

Home minister Muhyiddin Yassin has pointed out that the government would not reject an application by Umno or PAS to organize the rallies if they file the application as required and go by the law.

Meanwhile, IGP Mohamad Fuzi Harun also said Malaysia is a a democratic country where people can freely express their views on any issue. Indeed, participating in a rally is one of the ways people can express their views in a democratic country.

Through such gatherings, the public can voice up on certain issues. But unfortunately, there have been too much political manipulation and distortion on the ICERD issue, and this has underscored the opponents' attitude in protesting just for the sake of protesting.

As a consequence of excessive political manipulation, ICERD is no more an issue Malaysians would explore and analyze rationally and impartially today. Instead, it has been exploited as a political tool by some irresponsible quarters.

As Tun Mahathir has said, it is difficult for the government to ratify ICERD because it involves an amendment to the existing constitution, while foreign minister Saifuddin Abdullah has reiterated that the issue will be brought to the cabinet for discussion and its ratification will be deferred.

Despite all this, Umno and PAS remain insistent with the idea of organizing the rallies with the ultimate motive of crippling the government by way of creating a big stir among the people.

In this whole thing neither the leaders of Umno nor PAS have tried to understand what ICERD is really about. They have also failed to communicate rationally with the government in a bid to clarify their doubts.

One of the reasons for their opposition to the signing of ICERD is that it will threaten the status of the Malays. However, many scholars have put it forthright that ICERD will not supersede the Federal Constitution and will therefore not jeopardize the status of the Malays.

Unfortunately those against ICERD are unwilling to come to terms with this reality and will stubbornly stick to their prejudices. Rational interaction should take the place of boisterous protests in a democratic society because this is the only way to nurture a more matured political culture and lift the overall rational governing capacity.

We need more rational communication and interaction on the issue of ICERD, and the support for or opposition to ICERD must be established upon the basis of facts, not individuals' guesses and presumptions. - mysinchew

In an interview with Sinar Harian on Thursday, former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak claimed he had a professional relationship with Jho Low and was unaware of the fugitive financier’s ostentatious lifestyle. Bila sebut saja 1MDB di Parlimen si Pandikar mula rentak bersilat.

Ridiculing the admission, Lim asked whether anyone would believe Najib’s admission that his administration was cheated by Low, more widely known as Jho Low.

“It must be history’s most pathetic mea culpa, contrived and totally unconvincing, completely unable to evoke sympathy and understanding let alone pity,” he said in a statement.

Lim said Najib had “spearheaded an international façade and charade of an international conspiracy to topple him as prime minister of Malaysia making use of the 1MDB scandal, which he claimed until his interview today was a concoction and a lie.

"The Finance Minister said the group, which claims to "defend" Malays and Muslims against the "DAP race", had accused him of diverting RM200mil meant for Malay students under the government's MaGIC entrepreneur development programme to Chinese temples.

"They claimed I ordered that the money be given to Chinese temples.

"The group even claimed that monks visit my office everyday.

"These are malicious allegations. There is no truth in them," said Lim, who is also DAP secretary-general.

"This is very dangerous as they want to fan and incite (racial) sentiments so that more (people) will come on Dec 8 (for the anti-ICERD rally)."

He added that he will lodge a police report and take legal action against the coalition.

"There is no problem if the gathering is peaceful," he told reporters at Parliament lobby today (Nov 22).

Lim said the allegations have since gone viral and he was advised to seek legal redress on the matter.

"I advise them to show proof or retract the allegations and apologise.

Jho Low’s gone, but Malaysia is still paying 

for his US$250m yacht Equanimity...

Even in hiding, disgraced financier Low Taek Jho is costing the Malaysian public dearly. His seized superyacht, the Equanimity, has cost Malaysian taxpayers RM3.5 million (US$835,000) – and counting – in maintenance costs, port services, crew and legal fees since it was seized by the government in August.

Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng disclosed the figure – which does not include costs incurred since October 10 – in an answer to a parliamentary question on Wednesday. He also said the government hopes to have sold the vessel “by the end of the year”.

The US$250 million yacht, which has a gym, spa, steam room and cinema, was allegedly bought with money stolen from the state fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB). The government now plans to auction it off to recoup some of the many billions of ringgit that went missing.

It is currently docked in Langkawi, after being moved to keep it in good condition and prevent barnacles from attaching to its hull, according to Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. The High Court of Malaya ruled in October that the Equanimity belonged to the Malaysian government and 1MDB, after its registered owner failed to appear in court to claim it.

Soon after, the Admiralty Court approved the terms and conditions for the bidding process for the vessel to run from late October until November 28. Interested buyers must pay a deposit of US$1 million just to take part in the auction.

The Equanimity is one of many lavish purchases made by Low – commonly referred to as Jho Low. Investigators claim he also bought jewellery; diamonds; paintings by Monet, Picasso and Basquiat; and luxury properties with the misappropriated funds. He also threw parties featuring star-studded guest lists that included Britney Spears and Jamie Foxx, among others.

Low’s current whereabouts are unknown, though Interpol has appealed for his arrest and Mahathir has suggested he believes Low is hiding in China. Even so, he has recently been “spotted” in the upmarket suburb of Bangsar in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur.

Sadly for Interpol – and various other authorities who want him arrested – Low’s appearance is limited to a cartoonish likeness on a variety of Christmas-themed merchandise, including mugs, T-shirts, activity books and drinks coasters.

Sold by lifestyle and gift shop APOM (A Piece of Malaysia) Store, the items all feature a character resembling Low in a Santa hat, with slogans such as “Spend it like you stole it” and “Jho Jho Jho! Tis the season of giving … back”.

There is also a dedicated “Finding Jholly” activity book – riffing off the popular puzzle books Where’s Wally – in which readers must spot Low’s likeness in a busy scene. However, in this version, rather than Wally’s red-and-black outfit, the elusive figure is dressed in black-and-white prison stripes.

Other catchy taglines include “Money Party Jholly Repeat” and “Wishing you a billion-dollar Christmas!” – a reference to the recently published bestseller documenting the 1MDB scandal, Billion Dollar Whale: The Man Who Fooled Wall Street, by Wall Street Journal reporters Tom Wright and Bradley Hope.

It is unclear whether Low is aware of the kitschy merchandise flying off the shelves. Apom Store’s website indicates that it has already sold out its “Spending it like I stole it” tote bags and “Jho! Jho! Jho!” Christmas greeting cards.

Low, who is accused of masterminding the 1MDB scandal and is wanted by Singapore and Malaysia, has persistently claimed innocence. Recently he posted an open letter on his website that accused unspecified jurisdictions of being “poisoned by gossip, innuendo, and unproven allegations”. In the same letter, Low complained he had been “paraded in effigy through the streets of Kuala Lumpur”. However, the financier has remained quiet on having his likeness put on T-shirts and mugs.

Kelvin Long, founder of APOM Store, said sales had been “fantastic”.

“We try to be witty and topical; and capture the sentiments of the people in a humorous, satirical or ironic light,” said Long, describing the idea as a “eureka moment”.

“Malaysians don’t like him. We as Malaysians are making fun of him ... the situation the nation is in is terrible, so hopefully we can keep our spirits up Malaysian-style and also laugh at it just a little.” - scmp

Isu iCERD jangan jadi kaldai politik...

Tahun 1946. Isu Malayan Union. Raja-raja Melayu sudah menandatangani perjanjian dengan MacMichael, pesuruhjaya British, menjadikan mereka sebagai boneka penjajah London. Beribu orang Melayu dari kalangan nelayan, pesawah, lebai dan orang kampung tunjuk perasaan membantah. Malayan Union terkubur. Tak ada golongan bukan Melayu yg bersama orang Melayu menentang gagasan itu. Bukan Melayu dari Parti Komunis Malaya yg bersekongkong dengan British menentang Jepun mencari kesempatan untuk menubuhkan kerajaan komunis selepas Perang Dunia Kedua. Niat mereka gagal juga.

Bila Tunku Abdul Rahman berunding dengan Whitehall mendapatkan kemerdekaan negara ada syaratnya. Cina dan India mesti juga dibawa sama. UMNO akur. UMNO juga akur memberi kerakyatan 'jus suli' iaitu bukan Melayu yg ada di bumi ini sebelum 31 Ogos 1957 secara otomatis jadi warganegara. UMNO angguk seperti kaldai kenyang. Kira-kira satu juta bukan Melayu secara otomatis jadi warganegara walaupun tak boleh berbahasa Melayu. Tidak ada negara di dunia ini begitu mudah memberi kerakyatan kepada orang asing seperti mana yang dilakukan oleh para pemimpin UMNO. Ini sejarah beb.

Bukan Melayu menerima 'social contract' fasal 153 yang memberi hak istimewa kepada pribumi. Institusi Raja Melayu dipertahankan. Islam agama rasmi. Bahasa Melayu bahasa rasmi. Jawatan dan biasiswa diberi keutamaan kepada Melayu/Bumiputra. Namuin demikian kebebasan beragama dan lain-lain diberi kepada bukan Melayu. Selepas 61 tahun Melayu berkuasa, melalui UMNO, hanya berlaku satu rusuhan kaum iaitu 13 Mei 1965. Hari ini terdapat banyak Cina bilioner, seorang India dan hanya seorang Melayu berstatus bilioner walaupun Melayu berkuasa. Kuil-kuil Hindu, tokong Cina dan gereja berselerak. Pimpinan Melayu tidak peduli apakah kamu dari kasta paria, sudra atau brahmin. Semua India sama taraf, sama-sama dapat berbagai kemudahan dari kerajaan.

HINDRAF cuba menjadi juara Hindu ekstremis. Ingat dimana loangit dijunjung di situ bumi dipijak. Malaysia bukan tanah jajahan India. Malaysia bukan Fiji dimana keturunan India yg dibawa penjajah British cuba menyingkirkan kuasa politik rakyat pribumi Fiji. Ini bumi Malaysia. Majoriti pribumi Melayu yg beragama Islam. Apa yang mereka nikmati di bumi bertuah ini belum tentu mereka dapat kebahagiaan di tanah leluhur mereka.

Tindakan PM tidak menandatangai ICERD bijak. Sebenarnya ICERD ini diperkenankan oleh UMNO pada tahun 2011 oleh kerajaan super korup UMNO/BN. Bomoh Ponorogo yang mengheret PAS untuk demonstrasi menentang ICERD membuktikan PAS dikaldaikan bomoh ini kerana perjuangan PAS sudah hilang pedoman Islamnya Bawah Hj Hadi, perjuangan PAS sanggup menyelam dan tenggelam bersama UMNO akibat kemabukan politik keropok lekor.

Wajar sekali Kementerian Dalam Negeri (KDN) jangan memberi izin kepada UMNO, PAS, mengadakan perhimpunan Disember ini. Orang bijak dapat membaca kilat dalam kilau mainan politik tempe dengan keropok lekor. Tidak ada kebebasan mutlak untuk manusia. Yang maha kuasa mutlak ialah Allah, bukan demokrasi. Malah Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu juga tidak mengamalkan demokrasi dimana lima negara iaitu US, China, Britain, Russia dan Perancis diberi kuasa veto. Sekiranya ada menteri dalam kabinet PH cuba mencetuskan konflik perkauman melalui perjuangan mereka maka wajar Tun M bertindak menyingkirkan menteri itu. Sekiranya UMNO dan PAS meneruskan juga perhimpunan mereka maka wajar pihak KDN bertindak terhadap para pemimpin yg menganjurkan perhimpunan itu. Jangan bagi muka kepada mereka yang gila kuasa tetapi melanggar undang-undang negara. - Yahaya Ismail

The political freefall of UMNO/PAS...

Do those opposing the ratification of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD) actually know what it is?

I don't think they know, or they are just unwilling to find out. They don't even know what racism is!

In the parliamentary sitting, opposition reps started to make noise when minster in the prime minister's department Waytha Moorthy Ponnusamy was answering a question on ICERD, calling him "racist". The Speaker even overheard someone asking the minister to "go back to India".

It is obvious here who the real racists are!

Umno and PAS politicians have been playing up the ICERD issue and fanning public emotions while PH component parties look on passively.

ICERD is a form of international justice. Unfortunately it has become an abominable monster here!

The hysterical voices of opposition have completely distorted the real meaning and significance of ICERD.

They claim that ICERD is in direct violation of Article 153 of the Federal Constitution, and will deny the Malays of their privileges. Nevertheless, if you were to ask them how ICERD has violated the Constitution and how it would jeopardize the status of the Malays, they would become instantly speechless.

Moreover, any international convention will not override a sovereign state's laws, let alone its constitution.

Ratifying ICERD is a pledge for human rights and equality, and a signatory can opt to have reservation about certain articles it does not agree on. This explains why many countries have ratified ICERD.

Rejecting ICERD only shows that we still have a long way to go before we can join the modern world.

Ahmad Zahid even claims that the Malays will riot if ICERD is signed.

As a matter of fact, the Malays will have nothing to lose even if ICERD is ratified by the government. As such, there are no valid reasons for a riot.

Unfortunately some of the Muslim-Malays may fall into the trap of Umno and PAS.

Zahid's hypothesis of riot and Hadi Awang's argument that rejecting ICERD is a universal obligation of Muslims have sadly lowered the stature of their parties to a level unseen before.

This also means that they can no longer compete on the platform of competency and rationality, and have to resort to fanning racist and religious sentiments in order to win back their wilting support.

Any party that allows itself to stoop this low is no longer eligible to talk about running this country, as it will eventually be abandoned by majority of Malaysians who uphold the principles of moderation and good reasoning.

Sure enough there are tons of reasons to explain the electoral setback of Umno and PAS in GE14. The thing is: neither racism nor religious extremism has reversed their doomed fates.

They have failed to revert to moderation after the general elections. In its stead, they have picked up steam in their quest for extremism.

Opposition parties devoted to fanning public emotions and creating religious conflicts will never contribute positively towards democratic politics in this country, but will be a destructive force for the same. - sinchewdaily

Kerajaan UMNO/ BN bercadang 
meratifikasi ICERD sejak tahun 2011...

Selepas hampir setahun menjadi pembangkang, pemimpin Umno mengajak PAS mengapi-apikan sentimen perkauman dan agama membawa isu ICERD untuk menyalahkan kerajaan Pakatan Harapan.

Presiden Umno, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi pada malam Sabtu lalu mengumumkan penganjuran himpunan membantah Konvensyen Antarabangsa Mengenai Penghapusan Segala Bentuk Diskriminasi Kaum (ICERD) bersama-sama pimpinan dan penyokong PAS.

Dalam pada Zahid Hamidi, berkobar-kobar mengajak rakyat turun berhimpun, sampai ke tahap mengajak orang Melayu "Mengamuk" di jalanraya, ada sesuatu fakta yang disembunyikan olehnya dan perlu didedahkan.

Sebenarnya ICERD telah dimulakan perbincangannya oleh pimpinan Umno semasa pentadbiran mereka dahulu, seawal tahun 2011.

Berikut antara bukti-bukti bahawa pentadbiran Umno telah memulakan perbincangan tentang ICERD sejak lama dahulu.

1. Dokumen Laporan Suhakam tahun 2011 muka surat 67 ada merekodkan perjumpaan Jawatankuasa Teknikal ICERD di Jabatan Perpaduan dan Integriti Nasional di bawah jabatan Perdana Menteri. Laporan itu menyatakan bahawa kemungkinan Malaysia menerima pakai ICERD telah dibincangkan.

2. Dokumen Laporan Tahunan 2015 Jabatan Perpaduan Negara dan Integriti Nasional (JPNIN) di bawah Jabatan Perdana Menteri muka surat 22 pula mendedahkan bahawa Pengerusi Jabatan itu, merupakan Pengerusi Teknikal ICERD.

JPNIN melaporkan bahawa kerajaan sendiri telah meminta jabatan itu untuk mengkaji kesesuaian dan kesediaan kerajaan Malaysia meratifikasi atau menandatangani konvensyen ICERD dan menyediakan input kepada wisma Putra untuk sesi Universal Periodic Review (UPR) pada tahun 2018 berhubung ICERD.

Ketika Umno memulakan ICERD sejak tahun 2011, Zahid Hamidi merupakan menteri kanan dalam kerajaan, antaranya Menteri Dalam Negeri, masa itu tak ada pula Zahid ajak orang Melayu mengamuk bantah ICERD.

Jadi dalam hal ini pemimpin dan penyokong PAS terang-terangan ditipu oleh pemimpin Umno. 

Lantaran terdesak untuk memainkan isu yang boleh menaikkan kemarahan orang-orang Melayu maka isu ICERD digembar-gemburkan supaya jadi heboh dan kecoh. - milosuam

Inilah agenda modus operandi (MO) mereka mengapi-apikan sentimen perkauman dan agama dgn membawa isu ICERD untuk menyalahkan kerajaan Pakatan Harapan padahal ICERD telah dimulakan perbincangannya oleh pimpinan Umno semasa pentadbiran mereka dahulu, seawal tahun 2011..

Malah semasa Umno/BN berkuasa lagi dah ada Jawatankuasa Teknikal ICERD di bawah Jabatan Perdana Menteri !!

Jadi tak heranlah kenapa UMNO suka kencing PAS sejak dari dulu lagi...

Kenapa setelah hilang KUASA, UMNO/PAS macam baru kenal ICERD sedangkan isu ni warisan peninggalan UMNO /BN. Zaman UMNO/BN, boleh BINCANG.

Be Careful What You Wish For, Zahid...

UMNO President Ahmad Zahid Hamidi appears to be extremely panicked. After being slapped with 45 charges – a record so far, even more than ex-PM Najib Razak – of criminal breach of trust (CBT), accepting bribes and money laundering, you can bet your money that he would be the first to go to Sungai Buloh prison. It would be quite lonely without Najib as his cell-mate.

Actually, the gangster Zahid knew he would be found guilty simply because the Attorney General Tommy Thomas would have had done his homework before giving the green light to charge him with the jaw-dropping amount of charges. The good old days where attorney general, prosecutors, judges and witnesses could easily be bribed – even threatened and intimidated – are gone.

There were basically two options on the table for Mr. Zahid. He could go on leave and quietly quit the politics for good, hoping his “surrender” could be exchanged for 2 years jail time instead of 20 years. But this option means he will be spending time in prison, not to mention losing face. His future in politics would be over by the time he walks out of the prison.

The second option would be to start an all-out war with the 93-year-old Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. His only bet is hoping premier-in-waiting Anwar Ibrahim would pull another 1998 power grab against the old man. But it seems Mr. Anwar, the new president of PKR (People’s Justice Party), prefers to wait for another 1 year and a half for his turn.

When Mahathir, through his media and communication adviser Kadir Jasin, spread the idea of recruiting up to 40 UMNO MPs, it was deliberately done to kill many birds with a stone. First, it was to create disarray and disloyalty within UMNO. Second, it was to test Anwar’s reaction. Third, it was to test the public’s backlash. Fourth, it was to pressure Zahid Hamidi.

Desperate people do desperate things. Zahid went ballistic, arrogantly scolded a reporter who asked him if he would take leave as UMNO president due to his pending court case. He also accused LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) activities of being the reason the angry God had unleashed earthquake that hit Palu, Indonesia.

And who can forget how Zahid family cowardly used 9-year-old granddaughter, Sofee, to unleash threats (obviously being coached) against the Mahathir government for locking up “grandpa” Zahid Hamidi. He also claimed of being targeted for refusing to dissolve UMNO so that the party’s members could jump ship and join Mahathir’s party – Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM).

But what role would Zahid play in a new merged PPBM-UMNO party? The mobster wanted to become a deputy prime minister by virtue of him being the president of the largest party (UMNO), which means there would be multiple deputy prime ministers. At the very least, he wanted to be given a senior portfolio such as Home Minister or Defense Minister, or else there would be no deal.

Of course, Mahathir told Zahid to fly kite. The premier can’t accept Zahid simply because he was too tainted and corrupted. It would be as good as accepting Najib Razak to the new government if Zahid Hamidi is accepted into the new government. After all, what is there to prevent Zahid from plotting a coup once in the government? It would be inviting the fox into the hen house.

So, Mahathir simply admitted that he had indeed asked Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to dissolve UMNO but he did so because the party no longer represented its original principles and struggles. Zahid’s plan to make himself as a victim didn’t work. He keeps babbling that UMNO is still relevant and will not be shut down, lying that reform plans are being pursued.

Facing the prospect of another humiliating loss in the upcoming “Rantau” by-election, triggered after the Special Election Court ruled on Nov 16 that the unopposed election of Mohamad Hasan (UMNO deputy president) as the assemblyman in May 9th general election is null and void, Zahid’s pressure multiplies as his leadership is increasingly being questioned.

And what did Zahid do? He played the 3R cards (religion, racial and royalty), of course. But the dumb guy, perhaps hadn’t thought of the consequences, threatened the government last night (Nov 17) that the Malay-Muslim community will “run amok” to protest the Pakatan Harapan government’s pledge to ratify the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD).

According to dictionary.com, to run amok means to run with a frenzied desire to kill – an action originally observed among Malays. Zahid reportedly said – “This is not a mere warning, don’t play if you don’t want the amok to happen.” He said UMNO and PAS leaders will mobilise “millions” of their members to the streets to protest the anti-discrimination human rights treaty next month.

In essence, the UMNO president has not only incited violence, but is preparing to lead millions to splash blood on the street by killing people who do not subscribe to their beliefs. Congratulations, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi!! You’ve just given the silver bullet to the government to arrest you for declaring war against the government of the day and the “Agong” (King).

PM Mahathir quickly assured the public today that no chaos will erupt over his government’s effort to ratify an international treaty against racial discrimination, unless instigated by Zahid Hamidi. He told a press conference at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 2018 Summit today – “Unless Zahid stirs up trouble, there will be no riot.”

Is Zahid really so dumb and retarded? Did he realize he just signed his own death warrant? Now he better pray that there will be no riot whatsoever because the authorities would hold him responsible for any “bloody riot”, even if it has nothing to do with him. Mahathir’s quick response to his threat by issuing a statement could mean Zahid may be arrested for questioning soon.

Actually, what Mahathir needs to do to nail Zahid and his gang, including PAS Islamist party president Hadi Awang, is to plant provocateurs during the coming UMNO-PAS demonstration. Once riot happens, the authorities would move in to arrest and charge all of the troublemakers for starting a war against the Agong (King). Zahid should be careful what he wishes for.

Perhaps Zahid thought he had nothing to lose because he would be imprisoned anyway. However, by inciting violence, he could be thrown into jail earlier than expected, not to mention he might be spending more than 20 years behind bars. Did Zahid really think he could outsmart Mahathir, when even the much cleverer Najib Razak had suffered an unexpected defeat? - FT
