If the oppositions are weak, why fear them,Pat Lah?

A so called "riot" broke out in Batu Buruk,Kuala Terengganu, resulting more than 20 people being arrested and a handful were injured.

The incident, also resulted in two men, Suwandi Abdul Ghani, 37, and Muhamad Azman Aziz, 21, sustained gunshot wounds to the chest and neck respectively. They were shot at by a general duty police officer.

Initial report stated that two shots of live bullets were fired, but Terengganu police chief SAC I Ayub Yaakob confirmed that four shots were fired instead.

The violence erupted over the denial of a police permit for a forum organised by the opposition-backed election watchdog "Bersih". The opposition also claimed that the clash was instigated by police agent provocateurs which the police had flatly denied this.

However,PM Pat Lah today blamed PAS for inciting that riot in Kuala Terengganu on Saturday night.Pat Lah had claimed that the rioting was a deliberate tactic by the opposition party. He said that the opposition could have prompted the riot after not being able to bring development to the state during the five years it was in power. Furthermore, the PM said that the Opposition had no chance of winning over the state.

Oh,what a crap...if Pat Lah is so sure that the Opposition had no chance of winning over the state why the police and the gomen are trying to deny permits for the opposition ceramah and forum? Using live bullets to gun down their opponents is clear indication off how desperate the gomen is over PAS surging influence in that state.

I believe the police and the gomen got other better things to do . For instance, the police can go and prevent real crime from taking place rather than being trigger happy gunslingers.

While the gomen must determine who were behind the purchase of a RM417.00 set of technical books for RM10,700 per set or a 3.1 megapixel digital camera that was bought for RM8,254 and how the gomen paid RM224.94 for a RM40.00 screw-driver set. Obviously, the gomen got screwed!

Why fear the opposition?.... Pat Lah.

cheers.
