Depa nak Dr.M kekal PM pasai nak bossku tak dipenjarakan...

Di awal-awal tersebarnya desas desus ada segolongan ahli parlimen Umno akan meninggalkan parti itu dan melompat kijang dan katak untuk menyertai Bersatu, saya sudah mendapat maklumat mengenai angka yang akan "belut" itu, yakni seramai 29 orang.

Mula-mula yang mendedahkan angka ini kalau tidak silap A Kadir Jasin. Mereka itu diketuai oleh ahli parlimen Sembrong Hishammuddin Hussein Onn. Kadir menulis melaporkan yang Hishammuddin ada berjumpa dengan Dr Mahathir dan bertanya apa tujuannya.

Beberapa hari kemudian saya berjumpa salah seorang MP dan bercerita mengenai hal itu. MP ini tidak menyebut yang dia juga ikut serta dalam rancangan lompat melompat itu alias khianat kepada partinya, namun dia menyebut mengenai angka itu, 29 orang. Mungkin dia juga mengguna pakai angka disebut Kadir.

Saya menafi dan meragui akan angka itu, kata saya apa yang munasabah tidak lebih 10 orang sahaja ahli parlimen Umno akan menyertai Bersatu. Mereka itu semuanya adalah orang yang mula ketar dan menggeletar ekoran perubahan kerajaan.

Kemudian selepas itu dilaporkan seramai enam orang MP Umno menyertai Bersatu, dan salah seorangnya ialah MP yang berjumpa dengan saya itu. Selepas itu dia berjumpa dengan saya, kemudian mengiyakan apa yang saya kata.

"Benarlah yang awak kata, tak sampai 30 orang hanya enam orang sahaja." Katanya sambil menambah kata, Hishammuddin "berlawak", bohong.

Dan hari ini sekumpulan lagi MP Umno telah menyatakan pendiriannya agar Dr Mahathir kekal sebagai PM sehingga habis penggal. Mereka adalah Ahli Parlimen Kuala Kangsar, Mastura Mohd Yazid; Ahli Parlimen Paya Besar, Mohd Shahar Abdullah; Ahli Parlimen Jerantut, Ahmad Nazlan Idris; Ahli Parlimen Maran, Ismail Abd Mutallib dan Ahli Parlimen Lipis, Abdul Rahman Mohamad.

Apakah mereka ini yang tergolong dalam kumpulan 29 dahulu itu dan mereka tercicir atau mengambil masa untuk mengumumkan diri menyertai Bersatu? Jika mereka ini tergolong dalam angka 29 itu bermakna sudah 11 orang MP Umno menyokong Dr Mahathir. Ertinya daripada 29 itu ada terdapat 18 orang lagi masih belum mengumumkan pendirian mereka.

Boleh difahami mereka yang menyokong Dr Mahathir agar terus kekal jadi PM itu adalah mereka yang tidak mahu dan cuba menghalang konsensus PH yang sudah bersetuju Anwar akan jadi PM selepas dua tahun Dr Mahathir memegang jawatan itu.

Apa yang boleh dicongakkan di sini, 30 orang sahaja lagi MP Umno yang masih belum menyatakan pendirian. Mereka termasuk Hishammuddin Hussein sendiri, Najib Razak dan juga Mohd Zahid Hamidi.

Tindakan terbaharu dibuat oleh lima orang MP Umno itu boleh dikira dalam usaha untuk mengajak rakan-rakannya yang lain agar ikut memberi sokongan kepada Dr Mahathir. 

Namun saya yakin ia tindakan akan mencapai maksud itu selagi Dr Mahathir tidak berkompromi dengan Najib Razak dan Zahid Hamidi dengan melepaskan mereka daripada puluhan tuduhan yang dikenakan ke atas mereka berdua itu.

Apakah pengorbanan MP Umno yang bersama Dr Mahathir itu mereka bukan sangat untuk melihat Dr Mahathir kekal sebagai PM tetapi mahu melepaskan boss mereka yang kini sudah digapai penjara Sungai Buloh. - mso

Bila Pakatan Harapan umum Tun Mahathir sebagai calon Perdana Menteri SEMENTARA maksima 2 tahun dan Anwar ambil aleh jika Pakatan Harapan ambil alih Putrajaya, dia dah juak-juaknya mula kecoh siap buat sidang media lagi.

Bila Pakatan Harapan sudah menang, dia perlekeh permuafakatan sesama Pakatan Harapan. Dia perlekeh janji2 konsesus mengatakan Tun M pm sementara sahaja sebelum Anwar ambil aleh. Sibuk dia pertahan Tun habiskan penggal hingga PRU15. Azmin oh Azmin!!!

Dia nak cakap apa. Itu dia punya pasal. PH bukan harta pusaka arwah bapak dia punya. Sesiapa boleh bagi pandangan.

Bukan ke dulu Azmin Ali membantah percalonan Tun Mahathir sebagai perdana menteri ke 7 sebelum pru14. PH menang tetiba dia sokong Tun Mahathir sebagai pm. Dia susun plan untuk jadi pm ke 8. Bila peracangan dia macam tak jadi. Dia mintak Tun Mahathir jadi pm sehingga habiskan penggal.

Satu dunia dah tahu. Selepas Tun Mahathir penganti beliau adalah Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Rasa aku berpuluh kali Tun Mahathir keluarkan kenyataan penganti beliau adalah Anwar Ibrahim.

Aku doa Tun Mahathir di beri kesihatan. Tapi sudah menjadi fitrah manusia. Bila usia 94 tahun banyak kekurangan terutama kesihatan. Azmin Ali sudah sudahlah. Jangan heret Tun Mahathir dalam perancangan jahat kamu. 

Bagilah Tun berehat. Paling utama beribadah kepada Allah. Bagilah Tun Mahathir pegi dengan tenang. Jangan serabutkan kepala dia dengan masalah nafsu buas kamu

Azmin as PM? People can dream,says Anwar

Stop wearing mufti’s hat...

Is it appropriate for a serving mufti to give opinions freely about politics and make sweeping statements on minority groups that have contributed significantly to the development of their own communities and that of others for more than half a century?

By and large, the minority groups have not accused the Malays of being “racist” despite some discriminatory policies in the name of affirmative action. So to cite one small incident of them questioning khat for Bahasa Melayu lessons is petty.

On the issue of Dr Zakir Naik, there is already a strong agreement that he has abused his permanent resident privileges by questioning the loyalty of Chinese and Indian Malaysians.

But Perlis mufti Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin displayed a poor acceptance of Indian leaders like P Waytha Moorthy, P Ramasamy and M Kula Segaran when he advised them to leave Malaysia if they lose a debate with Naik. It was an inappropriate statement on his part as they are Malaysians with roots in this country whereas he is not.

Furthermore, there is no such thing as a religious debate. Religion is based on personal faith and calls for mutual acceptance and tolerance.

The mufti of Perlis seemed to speak like a member of a race, or of a religion-based party, when he made references to the importance of Malay dominance in controlling the minorities. He cited the disagreement of these groups in the khat controversy and their condemnations of Naik as examples.

Asri also said Malaysia needed someone like Saddam Hussein, so that a gangster can rein in other gangsters in this country. He did not mention who these gangsters are. He could have meant any Pakatan Harapan (PH) leader, or someone from the Dong Zong education group which he is so against.

Asri seemed to encourage the idea of a leader like Saddam, a dictator who did not respect the rule of law and basic morality. Have we forgotten how Saddam used chemical weapons to kill more than 5,000 Kurdish civilians in Halabja? Would Asri truly recommend someone like that as a leader par excellence for the Muslims as well as for the Malays?

Suhakam, in its recent report, concluded that the authorities could be behind the disappearance of certain individuals. Is this the kind of dictatorship Asri wants for our country?

Asri’s statements can be seen fuelling racial and religious sentiments in this country. The authorities have stopped Naik from speaking, but Asri seems to have replaced him in making racial remarks.

The public would welcome any open debate on governance and politics. It is a mark of PH’s success if dissenting voices are heard not only within the Cabinet but also in society. But Asri said allowing too much freedom of speech is hurting the interests of Islam.

Civil society respects Asri as a Muslim scholar. If he wishes to debate with the people of Malaysia about his concerns on political matters, we welcome him. But he must not wear the mantle of the mufti when engaging in such debates.

Asri should vacate the position of mufti so that he is free to air his views in any form of media or open forum. As an associate professor at Universiti Sains Malaysia, he would bring a valuable addition to the discourse on Islam.

But as mufti, he should refrain from passing sweeping judgments on minorities and making unverified claims on how the country is managed.

Kenapa Nasharudin Mat Isa penting dalam kes RM90 juta...

Dahi saja hitam tapi...

Nasharudin ini adalah petualang yang hendak membawa Pas untuk bersama dengan Umno dari 2008 lagi. Cara dia menyalurkan duit ialah melalui Suwardi.

Dan Suwardi ini pula telah disebut 3 kali dalam audio Nik Mohamad Abduh sebagai bridge antara Umno dan Pas. Ingat, Zahid Hamidi juga mengaku yang kerjasama sulit Pas dan Umno sudah lebih 10 tahun

Bila Nasharudin didakwa di mahkamah nanti, dia nak tak nak akan terpaksa buka semua cerita yang mahu di tutup selama ini. Saya yakin paling kurang Nik Abduh juga akan turut diheret dalam perbicaraan penggubahan wang haram.

Kalau dapat sangkut yang lain macam Takiri, Tantawi, Dr Sam dan Abg Ipar Din Ayam, e.g. mana2 nama yang sangkut dalam audio nik abduh (yang sudah disahkan sebagai asli oleh peguam presiden sendiri di London) itu sudah kira bonus.

Sebab ini juga mereka sanggup bayar 1.4 juta ringgit tarik balik saman di mahkamah London, kerana mereka tahu kalau Presiden disoal siasat oleh peguam Clare Rewcastle Brown, rahsia mereka makan duit umno akan terbongkar.

"Dan mereka merancang (tipu daya), Allah juga merancang (membalas tipu daya), dan Allah sebaik-baik perancang (membalas tipu daya)." (Surah Ali `Imraan : ayat 54)

Sesungguhnya Allah bersama dengan orang yang sabar; walaupun 7 bulan menunggu, akhirnya kebenaran itu muncul jua.

Dr.Mahathir mangsa tipu helah

1. Selepas komplotnya bersama Hishammuddin Hussein terbongkar, Azmin Ali akhirnya secara tidak sedar ketika menjawab soalan media mengakui bahawa memang dia merupakan dalang yang cuba menghalang perjanjian peralihan kuasa Pakatan Harapan dapat dilaksanakan.

2. Azmin dilaporkan berkata, dia mahu agar Dr Mahathir Muhamad terus menjadi Perdana Menteri untuk satu penggal walaupun perkara itu bertentangan dengan persefahaman PH sejak sebelum Pilihan Raya Umum (PRU) lalu.

3. Kenyataan Azmin itu juga sangat jelas untuk menyeret Dr Mahathir menjadi seorang yang sekali lagi memungkiri janji dan tidak boleh dipercayai bukan sahaja di antara Dr Mahathir dan Anwar, tetapi juga di antara Dr Mahathir dan PH secara keseluruhannya.

4. Jawapan Azmin untuk sekaligus membuktikan kenyataan awal PH dan PKR sebelum ini bahawa memang wujud komplotuntuk menghalang peralihan kuasa dan seterusnya menghancurkan kerajaan PH.

5. Azmin juga dilaporkan berkata, pihak yang mahu peralihan kuasa secara tertib sepertimana perjanjian PH cuba dilabel sebagai “golongan terdesak”. Kenyataan Azmin itu sangat aneh apabila masyarakat melihat bahawa beliau sebenarnya yang terdesak serta bimbang sekiranya Anwar menjadi PM, beliau tidak lagi mendapat ‘melindungi’ daripada beberapa kes rasuah selain kes skandal video semburit di antara beliau dengan pasangannya, Haziq Abdul Aziz.

6. Untuk rekod, sehingga kini kes skandal video semburit itu masih belum selesai siasatan sepertimana kenyataan Polis baru-baru ini. Cuma Azmin sahaja yang menyebutkan dan yakin yang dirinya tidak bersalah walaupun siasatan tetap berjalan.

7. Oleh itu kenyataan terbaru Azmin untuk melanggari persefahaman dan perjanjian PH bagi melaksanakan peralihan kuasa secara jelas membuktikan beliau merupakan dalang komplot yang selama ini membuat politik Malaysia tidak stabil.

8. Sebelum ini Azmin menjanjikan jawatan Timbalan Perdana Menteri kepada Mukhriz Mahathir sekiranya Dr Mahathir mahu mengambil beliau sebagai PM, namun tembelang itu telah pecah apabila rupa-rupanya dalam masa sama Azmin telah menjanjikan jawatan sama kepada Hishammuddin.

9. Permainan belakang tabir Azmin ini telah benar-benar merosakkan reputasi PH selain menconteng arang di muka Dr Mahathir sendiri. Pemimpin PH dan rakyat keseluruhnya wajib menolak pengkhianat seperti Azmin dan Hishammuddin! - Mantan Wartawan Utusan Melayu

PH administration may not 

survive a full term?...

The Pakatan Harapan power transition agreement drawn up before the 2018 general elections apparently did not take into consideration the issue of human nature. Many believed that the other three parties were strong enough to tame down PPBM's wild ambitions to ensure that Mahathirism would not be resuscitated by virtue of their much larger combined number of seats. We were too naive!

If Tun Mahathir were to step down next May, some of the incumbent ministers may have to be struck out in the subsequent cabinet reshuffle. Sure enough the vested interest will not want Mahathir to leave this soon, and will come up with all kinds of plans and designs to keep their existing powers and interests for as long as possible. New Malaysia and PH's reform agenda? Those are not their concern.

After PKR president Anwar Ibrahim made that intriguing remark at the Dewan rakyat recently, the secretaries-general and organising secretaries of the four PH component parties issued their statements on the same evening, warning former Umno vice president Hishammuddin Hussein and his allies against setting up a new government without DAP and Amanah.

That was soon followed by a statement from the PKR supreme council cautioning all parties against the hidden agenda tailored to advance the political interests of certain individuals, saying that such agenda in betrayal of public trust and mandate was obviously born out of fear of being probed and charged in court.

It has been reported that some PH leaders are taking part in Hishammuddin's plot but their objective is not to form a new government but to ensure Mahathir will stay for a full term of five years. Among the key persons in the “Save Mahathir Operation” are economic affairs minister Azmin Ali, entrepreneurship development minister Mohd Redzuan, and former Umno's MP for Larut Hamzah Zainudin, who has since defected to PPBM.

A report says in exchange for the support for Mahathir's full term, they will be spared their charges, with the only exceptions of Najib and Ahmad Zahid. It is impossible for the four secretariats to issue such statements without any evidence in hand, and without the green light from the prime minister, who would have the guts to orchestrate such an operation to bring down the PH government?

From what Azmin and Redzuan did in recent weeks, it is not surprising that these two men are indeed involved. For example, Azmin was present at the Malay Dignity Congress, and Redzuan lately stressed the need for the Malays to be united under a “campaign” in order to lead the country.

Nevertheless, even with the full support of Umno and PAS, the “pro-Mahathir” faction will not be able to secure half of all the 222 parliamentary seats. Moreover, some of the Umno leaders like Najib and Ahmad Zahid may not join in because to them, Mahathir is the one who has crushed Umno's dominance in the country's politics.

Umno has pinned their hopes on the collapse of the PH government so that a snap election could be called, and Umno stands a chance of recapturing Putrajaya and sees their court cases dissolved, with the help of PAS.

Joining the operation to extend Mahathir's tenure now will not do Umno any good. Instead of submitting themselves to Mahathir, why not wait until the general elections and throw out the government in a justifiable way? As such, Hishammuddin's plan may not get the endorsement of most Umno leaders. Ahmad Zahid has expressed his wish to work closely with PAS. Umno leaders have seen the party's cooperation with PAS as the best bet for the party's resurgence.

DAP badly hurt by LTTE...

The PH government is currently facing onslaughts from both within and without the coalition, its approval rating having plummeted to a pathetic 35%. That said, PH leaders lack a sense of crisis, as they are still engrossed with power and factional struggles while the country's economic outlook remains bleak.

There is hardly any breakthrough for DAP within the coalition. The Jawi standoff remains unresolved; two of its state assemblymen have been nabbed for allegedly supporting LTTE, and the education ministry has instructed schools to reject “Belt and Road” comics published by Asia Comics and Cultural Museum in Penang. All these have made DAP a target of public wrath.

The exchange of fire between the grassroots at DAP and PPBM has highlighted the divergent political philosophies of the two parties. Whenever DAP hits out at education minister Maszlee Malik, PPBM will fight back for sure.

There are problems within each of the PH component parties. PKR's Azmin Ali is leaning towards Tun Mahathir in stopping Anwar from taking over the premiership. It is rumoured that Azmin has the support of 15 PKR MPs. If the party eventually becomes divided, the power transition plan will invariably be defeated.

Meanwhile, DAP leaders have been too arrogant over the UTAR allocation issue. If this is not resolved amicably, the party's support among Chinese voters will be compromised. As for PPBM, the party's racial card has failed to win it additional Malay votes while non-Malays have lost their faith in the party. If the Tanjung Piai by-election is lost, grassroots voices calling for a review of the coalition's leadership and policies will become inescapable.

The PH government is facing a possible eventuality of collapse, and may not even last until the end of a full term. - sinchewdaily

Bekas timbalan presiden PAS, Nasharudin Mat Isa akan dihadapkan ke Mahkamah Sesyen Shah Alam, hari ini dan didakwa mengikut Akta Pencegahan Pengubahan Wang Haram, Pencegahan Pembiayaan Keganasan dan Hasil Daripada Aktiviti Haram (AMLATFPUAA) 2001 dan Kanun Keseksaan.

“SPRM telah mendapat izin daripada Peguam Negara bagi menuduh Datuk Dr Nasharudin Mat Isa esok, jam 9 pagi di Mahkamah Sesyen Shah Alam,” kata suruhanjaya itu dalam satu kenyataan akhbar.

SPRM juga mengesahkan Nasharudin ditahan pada jam 2 petang tadi di Ibu Pejabat SPRM di Putrajaya selepas beliau hadir untuk melengkapkan proses siasatan akhir.

“Beliau kemudiannya dilepaskan dengan jaminan SPRM.

“Kesemua maklumat berkaitan kes ini akan dimaklumkan esok selepas pertuduhan dibacakan,” kata kenyataan itu. - mk

How Real Was It?...

In the modern, Internet-driven world of everything, a discussion about a certain popular subject is referred to by the spooks and the spies as “chatter”. A spike in such a discussion is interpreted to mean that something significant is happening behind the scene. So lately in the ever-noisy Malaysia political arena, the chatter is centred around the so-called attempt to break up the Pakatan Harapan (PH).

It may not be an unfamiliar chatter at all. Breaking up PH has always been the objective of the Barisan Nasional (BN). But in the run-up to the 2018 General Elections (GE), the BN was so weak that it not only failed to break up the PH but went on to lose to it. The BN was further weakened when several of its top leaders, led by the former Prime Minister, Mohd Najib Abdul Razak, were charged with corruption. Others include the former Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is now Umno President, and Najib’s right hand men, Datuk Seri Panglima Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim and Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad.

Since then, however, with the PH seen as losing popularity and the people are becoming disinterested in the lengthy Najib’s trial, some elements in Umno have broken rank and are promoting their own brand of Malay-Muslim agenda. Najib’s prolonged trial could turn to become a liability to the PH government. Even senior journalists are asking if Najib is guilty of those hideous crimes that he was charged with, why does it take so long to prove his guilt?

It may sound like an uninformed question, but they may be right. Look at the hero treatment Najib is getting from the “bossku” crowd. The court of public opinion could be turning to his favour. The softening of attitude towards Najib and his cohorts – partly because of the slow progress of their criminal trials – is emboldening some Umno leaders. They may not necessarily be on Najib’s or Ahmad Zahid’s side. On the contrary, they want to take Umno away from these tainted people.

In the absence of a clear stewardship and with the current Umno leadership line-up being seen as throwback of the Najib's era, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, has emerged as a de facto leader. It appears that his words are being taken more seriously by Umno members and the public than those of Najib and Ahmad Zahid.

For a while, the party’s deputy president, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, was seen as a ray of hope when he was acting as president. Not far behind was the Rembau MP, Khairy Jamaluddin. But when Ahmad Zahid came back to run the party, Mohamad appeared to have lost his shine and the hope for change diminished.

Thus, the rise of Hishammuddin and, to a lesser degree, Khairy is a very exciting development. Personally, I believe these two moderate Malays could be the answer to Umno’s leadership conundrum. Bringing Umno back to its original moderate stance is the key to its survival. In the current form, it is in danger of being overwhelmed by its ummah collaborator, PAS.

During Najib’s final years, in order to counter the 1MDB and other corruption scandals, he resorted to hiding behind the Malay supremacy and survival slogan. After the May 9, 2018 defeat and the handing over of leadership to Ahmad Zahid, Umno donned the Islamic cloak in order to entice PAS. This had culminated in the Unity of the Ummah Assembly in Kuala Lumpur last month.

But not everyone in Umno is comfortable with the “rojok” (reconciliation) with PAS. They know that PAS will sooner or later take over the household. PAS operates on religious zeal and Umno on cash. And cash is short for Umno right now. People like Hishammuddin, whose late father, Tun Hussein Onn was among the founders of Umno, and Khairy are out of place in this Umno-PAS ummah movement.

As for the Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, he meets whoever that wants to meet him. So, what is so terribly surprising if he meets Umno and PAS leaders? He is the Prime Minister for all! If he can work with his worse political adversaries to topple the BN, why can’t he meet Hishammuddin or Khairy?

But the story becomes a bit more sensational when the Najib’s era Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin, came into the picture. Hamzah was an important member of Umno and became entangled in the 1998 sacking of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim from the government and Umno.

Earlier this year, he joined Dr Mahathir’s Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) and was one of the key players in the recent Malay Dignity Congress (Kongres Maruah Melayu), which was purportedly organised by four public universities. So, when Hishammuddin’s name was linked to Hamzah and the congress, it gave birth to the theory that the two are working to bring Umno closer to Dr Mahathir, and this is then linked to the PH succession plan.

But I think people like Hishammuddin and Khairy are more important to the survival of Umno than to the PH succession plan. Left to current leadership, Umno will be fighting an uphill battle to stay alive. Whereas the PH succession plan is a done deal in as far as the transfer of power from Dr Mahathir to Anwar.

But still we have to accept that fate is not always in our hands and the democratic process is never straight forward. Remember, had a certain monarch had his way, Dr Mahathir would not have become the PH Prime Minister. So don't get too uptight. Genting dilaporkan akan jual kepal Equanimity milik rakyat Malaysia melalui penipuan Jhow Low dengan keuntungan sebanyak US$74 juta. Genting membeli kapal itu daripada kerajaan dengan harga AS$126 juta, dan katanya ia ditawar untuk dibeli dengan harga US$200 juta.

Jadi untung atas angin bagi Genting sebanyak US$74 juta. US$74 juta dalam tempoh enam bulan.

Selepas membelinya Genting menamakan kapal itu sebagai Tranquility ia diberi sewa dengan kadar US$1.2 juta seminggu. Genting sudah memiliki kapal itu selama enam bulan, bayangkan berapa dikutip oleh Genting dalam tempoh itu.

Persoalannya kenapa tidak ada mana-mana pihak untuk menguruskan kapal itu seperti mana dilakukan Genting. Siapa bertanggungjawab dan memberi idea agar ia dijual? Apakah disini tidak ada permainan kongkalikong atau songlap menyonglap. Nampak sangat akan "penipuan" dan kelicitannya dan kebodohan?

Pemimpin veteran DAP Lim Kit Siang memberi amaran bahawa usaha untuk membubarkan kerajaan Pakatan Harapan pasti akan menyebabkan kleptokrat dan individu korup lain melepaskan diri daripada diadili di mahkamah.

Pada ucapan yang disampaikan di Bintulu, Sarawak malam tadi, Lim berkata matlamat Wawasan 2020 untuk menjadikan Malaysia negara maju tidak dapat dicapai pada tempoh yang dirancang sebelum ini.

Jelasnya, dalam usaha untuk menggerakkan Malaysia ke arah kemajuan rakyat perlu memastikan bahawa kleptokrat pada masa lalu perlu diadili supaya Malaysia boleh "menjadi negara peneraju integriti."

"Inilah sebab penting kenapa pihak yang mahukan kehidupan yang lebih baik di masa hadapan untuk semua rakyat Malaysia, tanpa mengira bangsa, agama atau wilayah, perlu bersatu supaya memastikan perang terhadap kleptokrasi dan rasuah diteruskan bagi mencapai matlamatnya yang munasabah.

"Ini hanya dapat dicapai jika kerajaan PH tetap utuh, tegas dan komited untuk mencapai matlamat sebuah negara yang bersatu, adil, demokratik, harmoni dan tidak korup," kata Lim, menurut satu salinan ucapannya yang disediakan kepada akhbar hari ini.

Lim berkata Malaysia mesti berada di peringkat teratas 30 negara di dunia dari segi integriti dalam jangka masa satu dekad dan mendesak semua pihak untuk bekerja sama ke arah matlamat ini.

"Saya tahu ramai rakyat Malaysia yang bertanya mengapa bekas perdana menteri, Najib Razak, yang ditanggapi di seluruh dunia sebagai kleptokrasi global, belum lagi dipenjarakan.

Petualang2...

"Bagaimanapun, kita mesti konsisten mahu memulihkan kedaulatan undang-undang dan rakyat Malaysia mesti menerima proses undang-undang yang wajar mengambil masa," katanya.

Pada Selasa, Pemimpin tertinggi empat parti gabungan PH mengeluarkan kenyataan menuduh Naib Presiden Umno Hishammuddin Hussein berkomplot membentuk kerajaan baru tanpa DAP dan Amanah.

Pemimpin PH pula mendakwa pembangkang yang terlibat dalam komplot itu sedang berdepan kemungkinan akan didakwa.

Hishammuddin telah menafikan dakwaan tersebut walaupun pelbagai sumber memberitahu Malaysiakini MP Sembrong serta dua tokoh Bersatu dan pemimpin PKR terlibat dalam usaha yang dikatakan itu. - mk

Din lupa ke dulu. Bila Din gaduh dengan Najib Razak dan pemimpin umno. Din datang melutut kat kaki pemimpin PKR. Dulu Din hina keluarga Anwar Ibrahim. Macam macam Din fitnah Anwar Ibrahim. Dengan muka tak malu Din jumpa Datuk Seri Wan Azizah dan anak anak dia. Wan Azizah dan anak anak maafkan Din.

Din pegi mahkamah dengan Azmin Semburit mengiringi Tun Mahathir. Din salam cium tangan Anwar Ibrahim. Din mintak maaf dengan Anwar Ibrahim. Din janji akan berperangai baik dan tak akan fitnah Anwar Ibrahim. Dan Din juga pernah kata. Kalau betul PH menang pru14. Lepas Tun Mahathir jadi pm ke 7. Anwar Ibrahim orang yang paling layak menganti Tun Mahathir.

Kempen kempen politik sebelum pru14. Din pernah kata Anwar Ibrahim terbaik. Anwar Ibrahim sepepu din. Din sanggup duduk dalam penjara sebelah Anwar Ibrahim. Ramai yang percaya ceramah din masa tu. Termasuklah aku nama aku din jugak orang panggil.

Kononya keluar dari PPBM nak tumpu kes mahkamah. Kalau betul nak tumpu kes mahkamah. Kenapa dalam masa yang sama masuk parti AMANAH.Sumber sumber ceta dari kawan kawan parti PPBM. Khairuddin keluar dari ppbm sebab tak dapat jawatan penting dalam PPBM. 

Selepas pru14. PH menang tawan putrajaya. Tun Mahathir jadi perdana menteri. Dan Anwar Ibrahim bebas dengan pengampunan Di pertuan agong. Tak sampai dua tahun pemerintahan kerajaan PH. Tetiba Din berubah. Din serang dan fitnah Anwar Ibrahim. Din kata Anwar tak layak jadi pm. Apa yang keluar dari mulut Anwar. Din akan kecam.

Rupa rupanya Din tak berubah. Din tetap Khairuddin Abu Hassan yang dulu seperti anjing kurap. Pembodek penjilat taik tetap ada pada diri Din.

Sekarang ni ramai dah tak percaya dengan Din. Satu benda yang aku tak sabar nak tengok. Anwar Ibrahim angkat sumpah jawatan perdana menteri di depan Agong. Apa akan jadi dengan Din. Kau orang jangan terkejut kalau Din mengaku Anwar Ibrahim atok saudara dia.  - mat alishah

To extremists, all roads lead to DAP...

The sustained attacks against DAP is going to have repercussions on the kind of Malaysia young people are going to inherit. Right now, elements within and without the Pakatan Harapan government are creating a narrative that DAP is a “racist” political party out to destabilise Malay political hegemony.

This, of course, is nothing new. What is new is that not only has DAP have to contend with its agitated base since gaining federal power, they also have to be mindful of the political structures which want them to become the next MCA.

Zakir Naik, the alleged money-launderer, religious whisperer to radicalised youths and currently enabled by Harapan’s religious czar, Mujahid Yusof Rawa, not to mention the prime minister of this country, has the temerity to sue elected representatives. He campaigned for Umno telling the Malay majority to vote for corrupt leaders rather than for non-Muslim leaders who were not corrupt.

In my last piece, I wrote about the counter-narrative of Hindu-phobia being crafted to marginalise the low-hanging fruit of the racial discourse in this country, the Indian community. These lawsuits are the second prong in the attack against Indian politicians for speaking truth to power but more importantly, belling the cat when it comes to imported extremism in this country.

DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang does the same when he asks if Malaysia is prepared for the coming Islamic State (IS) storm. The most important quote from his piece is this one, “The violence perpetrated by pro-IS groups in this region has been episodic and uncoordinated, but the underlying trend is clear - the IS has shifted away from its initial concern with sovereignty over land and people, moving, in the process, toward a decentralised, global insurgency model.”

In Malaysia, this is especially dangerous because of the narrative that Islam is under threat in this country. Returning Malaysian IS fighters would no doubt find easy pickings in disenfranchised youths who believe the narrative that Islam is under threat in this country and that DAP (for instance) is attempting to subvert Islamic rule. Now, of course, we have this LTTE sham.

Think about how dangerous this is. Think about how dangerous this is to DAP politicians, activists and grassroots-level operators who are attempting to reach out to the majority and find themselves soft targets for individuals or groups inspired by the IS lunacy and mainstream narratives claiming that DAP is anti-Islam.

However, the grander narrative - the “Chinese narrative” of usurpation of power - is complicated by the internal machinations of Malay power structures. Do not expect this to hamper efforts to stymie whatever reforms are on the table while someone like Zakir Naik keeps telling the majority that it is better to vote for corrupt Muslim leaders than non-Muslims who could actually help reform the system.

Kuala Nerus MP Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali (PAS)(above) appealing to the rulers to issue a decree not to question the "social contract" while trolling Harapan to expel DAP and asking the state security apparatus to investigate the party, is the slowly coagulating narrative to be used against the Chinese community, specifically targeting the DAP. The fact that academics, activists and politicians have finally found their voice and exposed the "social contract" as the fraud that it is, is an inconvenient truth for the far-right and religious extremists.

It would not surprise me that in the coming weeks there are moves to codify this “social contract” with the usual state sanctions against anyone who questions it. Remember that in mainstream Malay politics, the "social contract" is used as a stand-in for the constitution when the reality is that the social contract has nothing to do with the Malaysian constitution. No doubt there will be moves to see this corrected.

This is why the PAS MP talks about the racist rhetoric of Malay Dignity Congress organiser Zainal Kling (pix,below) in terms of corresponding to the Malaysian constitution and not an abrogation of its intent - legal and moral. Like I said, what we have are the first tentative steps in an attempt to restrict any attempt to combat racism and bigotry by sanctifying racism and bigotry as instruments of the constitution.

This is exactly what the resolutions of the so-called dignity forum were all about. What these charlatans want to do is make it illegal to question ideas which for years have been the basis of dissent in this country. Ideas propagated by, among others, DAP. The main idea of which is that all Malaysians should be equal under the Malaysian sun.

When student activist Wong Yan Ke demonstrates against the "racist" vice-chancellor, what he is doing is really drawing attention to a greater Malaysian problem. What is this greater problem?

Well, for me, it is that mainstream political discourse is racist. We have racist politicians who use something like the "social contract" to discourage dissent. This is why these right-wing NGOs attempt to paint Wong as a puppet of DAP. This is why they use their Malay rights as a sword against equality and anti-racism. Yan Ke is just collateral damage in a conflict against egalitarianism in this country. A conflict against equality.
