Will the kabilah DNA bahalol understand any of this? I am afraid not.

So lets keep it simple for them.

Tapi Singapura adalah First World nation, sudah menjadi negara maju. Jadi kalau kerja di Singapura pun kira OK lah, sebab negara maju, gaji dia lagi tinggi dari Malaysia.

Indonesia pula bukan negara maju, masih menjadi Third World nation.  Sedih lah kalau pekerja Malaysia terpaksa berhijrah mencari hidup di Third World nation macam Indonesia.

Just wait and see. - ostb

PAS main 'wayang saja'...

Here is some 'inside' info folks. The RUU355 is just bullshit. No one in PAS cares about it. Semua wayang saja. There is only one item on the menu at Restoran PAS. That item is Kelantan.  PAS wants to keep Kelantan.  RUU355 sells very well among the Kelantanese folks.  That is all.

So they are going to table RUU355 in Parliament in March. It will NOT go beyond a first reading. This is what the 'inside info' says. After the first reading they will postpone it for a second reading. And that will be the end of it.  As Rafizi Ramli said in that video, they themselves withdrew their own motion. The motion did not pass. Or they did not pass motion. Bawang will declare UMNO as "halal".

By April, it will be a dead issue. Sarawak and Sabah will be asked to forget about it. MCA already knows it is just a ploy to help PAS please their supporters, especially in Kelantan.

Folks say that MOI has delegated Jawa Man to handle RUU355 with Bawang. So Bawang now meets Jawa Man. When they meet of course they exchange gifts. Of course one fellow gives a bigger gift than the other fellow.

By the way, talk is Rafizi and Brader Anwar are going all out to take down Azmin. Maybe that is why Tun Dr Mahathir was booed at the recent gathering. The idea is also to embarass Azmin. Brader Anwar does not support Muhyiddin, the president of Bersatu.

Brader Anwar will agree to endorse "someone else" as PM if he is promised a full pardon.  Here is the catch. That can only happen if Pakatan wins the GE14. So he has to be inside prison until the election results are known.  That is a huge risk that Brader Anwar will be taking. But he aint got much choice.

Some people now say the elections will only be held in 2018. Not 2017.  The economy is getting worse by the day. If some of that RM400 billion of Chinese  "investments" are fast tracked, it may ease the situation. But I dont think so.

(Here is a digression. Friends say that the Jabatan Hutan guys are not patrolling the jungles because there is no more budget for petrol and diesel. So they just sit in the office. Poachers and kayu gaharu thieves please take note. Jesus is not watching the jungles (got that right this time.))

The longer they wait, the worse things will get. The economy is grinding down, especially the Malay economy.

Coming to PAS, the party is seriously split...

Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man the PAS no. 2 wants to get rid of MOI. He can see that MOI is destroying the country. Tabik Tuan Ibrahim. Kita semua sokong.

Bawang and Tin Sadin's son dont agree. They are dedak eaters. Rumour is that the fantastic piece of KTM land at the junction of Jalan Bangsar and Jalan Maarof (the old Lever brothers factory) has been "given" to the same son of Tin Sadin.  Maybe worth over RM200 million. Boleh lah beli Audi Q 7,000,000 !

Talk is MOI is ready to "negotiate" with Bawang for the traditionally PAS states (Kelantan, T'gganu and Kedah) for PAS.  UMNO better take note.  The reality is that on the ground, the PAS states (Kelantan, T'gganu, Kedah)  simply cannot accept UMNO/BN. So maybe MOI may be negotiating away something that he knows he is going to lose anyway.

Talk is Bawang does not care. His personal glory now is to win T'gganu again and become MB. That is all he wants. He is also living on borrowed time. That ticker is not ticking too well.

PAS cooperates with DAP in Selangor. Also in Perak and Pahang. Tuan Ibrahim has no problems with DAP. Only Bawang is the problem.

Bawang wants more dedak from MOI.

DAP will not mind if MOI  is tarred, feathered and worse.

Conclusion :  Does the BN and especially UMNO really think they can predict the outcome of the GE14?

Some say that the BN can even  secure 2/3 with just 42% of the votes.

I think that even if the election were held today, the BN will lose, especially the States. Its always the economy stupid. The economy is going down. The longer they wait, the more they will get burnt. - ostb

Mohamad-Ali-Hassan
PTA group voices concern over
‘political’ appointee in school...

The National Parent-Teacher Association Consultative Council (PIBGN) has told teachers not to bring their political ideologies with them to school.

PIBGN president Mohamad Ali Hassan said politics in the classroom would do the students no good at all.

“It may create division when politics come into the classroom because students may feel suspicious of one another,” he told FMT, adding that such an environment was not conducive for learning.

He was commenting on an FMT report that an MCA division leader had been appointed headmaster of SMJK Yoke Kuan, Sekinchan in Selangor.

Sungai Besar MCA deputy division chief Lua Toong Aik, who is the chairman of the school board, had defended his decision to make his MCA colleague, Siah Pang Woon headmaster of the Chinese secondary school by saying the school had the need for a Chinese-speaking teacher.

Siah’s appointment was questioned by Sekinchan assemblyman Ng Suee Lim in a press conference, during which he claimed MCA had appointed Siah because the party wished to spread its influence in the school.

The DAP rep said there might also be a conflict of interest between the role of teacher and political leader.

Meanwhile, Ali said teachers “must adhere to work ethics, and serve without bias”.

He also told parents to be aware of what their children were taught in school.

“File a complaint to the state education department if your children are fed politics in class,” he said.

Amanah communications director Khalid Samad said teachers should teach the students moral values and to fight against corruption and keep their political opinions to themselves, for their own sake.

He claimed that democracy in Malaysia was not “mature” enough for teachers to express such opinions.

“Teachers have been targeted because they support the opposition,” he said, alluding to PAS’s allegation that 80 teachers in Kelantan were transferred after the last general election (GE13) in May 2013.

FMT checked with the public service department and found that civil servants must obtain permission from their heads of departments before taking part in political activities.

National Union of Teaching Profession (NUTP) president Kamarozaman Abd Razak said teachers would be penalised if they spread politics in schools.

“A disciplinary unit will hear the complaints of the teacher’s alleged misconduct.

“If the teacher is found guilty, the possible punishments are a transfer, pay deduction or termination,” he said, adding teachers are most likely to be axed for involvement in hard crimes.- fmt

Kam Teow Eng - This could be a case of, if UMNO can do it, so can MCA or any of its component parties. Follow TAH KER( elder brother) and one can never be wrong. But wrong, they all did and tons of wrongs and unforgivable blunders. The law is there to follow but UMNO especially, is guilty of not following the regulations and even cut corners to do things as it likes. This is where every law-abiding people must speak out and tell the useless regime we have enough of its nonsense and we want it out.

Saudi Arabian King Salman Abdul Aziz Al Saud's visit to Malaysia has put to rest the opposition's slander regarding the RM2.6 billion donation for Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

"Previously, there was a leader who said that even a mad Arab would not give such a colossal sum. But the presence of King Salman is sufficient to prove Najib was telling the truth that the RM2.6 billion was a donation from the Saudi royal family, academic Hanafiah Harun told Umno Online.

Harga minyak di Malaysia RM2.30/liter dan

Awatlah bengong sangat...

Najib,by claiming the 20 sen hike - or 10 percent compared to the January price - is not as much as the 50 percent hike in Saudi Arabia, the prime minister showed that his "head is in the clouds" said MP Raja Kamarul Bahrin Shah Raja Ahmad.

"Najib appears to be like a school kid showing off his rich family friend in the kampung," he said in a statement.

"Does he realise that the Saudis are so rich that most of them can afford to own American-made cars with more than 4,000 cc engines?

"They don't pay income tax or taxes on their cars like we do and their wages are far higher than here, where we cannot even properly enforce minimum wage," he added in a statement.

Najib yesterday defended the recent fuel price hike to RM2.20 for a litre of RON95, by comparing it to the 50 percent hike in fuel prices in Saudi Arabi.

However, he did not mention that at RM1.07 per litre (90 riyal), RON95 in Saudi Arabia costs less than half of the price in Malaysia.- mk

Mahathir berkata, pemimpin negara berkenaan sepatutnya memberi penjelasan mengenai wang derma berkenaan.

UMNO Elections...

The UMNO Elections are long overdue. They should have been held yesterday. All eyes now are on one position only - the deputy president. Since Muhyiddin was fired and thrown out of the party there has been great speculation who shall be the deputy party president.

Not only has the deputy president been kicked out but another Vice President Shafie Apdal has also left UMNO. Leaving behind Hishamuddin and Zahid Hamidi as the two incumbent VPs.

Both Zahid Hamidi and Hishamuddin Hussein will (or rather they must) vie for the vacant deputy president's post.

The money says if Hishamuddin Hussein becomes Deputy President, then of a certainty KJ's career in UMNO will be substantially impeded.  KJ knows this as well.  So KJ has no choice but to also aim for the Deputy President's post.

Observers note that KJ has lately been appearing wearing his Reserves military uniform - perhaps sending a strong signal to Hishamuddin Hussein the Minister of Defense that KJ too can tie his boot laces.

So Zahid, Hisham and KJ will be vying for the Deputy President's position in UMNO.

No one seems to favour Zahid Hamidi as the Deputy President, deputy PM or as PM. Zahid can be helped here but other than telling him to stop showing his fist, his advisors are not helping him at all.  I think that UN speech in English was sabotage.

If Zahid had spoken in Malay at the UN,  even I would have voted for Zahid. Zahid would have come out as a Malay and Malaysian champion. It was a fantastic opportunity lost.  Bila lagi nak berbahasa Melayu brader? (Dulu masa mamak tak reti cakap Melayu, depa kutuk mamak tak suka Melayu. Sekarang mamak fasih cakap Melayu, depa kutuk mamak nak jadi Melayu pula. Kay se-paata)

Coming back to UMNO, there is therefore a serious vacancy for the three Vice Presidents positions as well.

Talk is the front runner for VP is none other than Ismail Sabri. Tokpa or Mustapa Mohamed is also in the running they say. The other person hoping to be VP is Mahadzir Khalid.  And Sabah UMNO wants a VP slot as replacement for Shafie Apdal. If Sabah UMNO does not get a VP slot, they say you can shut down UMNO in Sabah.

Ministers Are Split, Even
The "Advisors" Are Split...

Anifah Aman is not the only Minister who is unhappy.  (By the way, there are FOUR State EXCO members in a particular State who are ready to 'jump ship'. I will not entertain any private email or smses asking who or which state, sorry folks.) There is serious dissension within the ranks.

As I predicted (it is no rocket science) Anifah finds it increasingly difficult to converse with foreign missions and foreign diplomats whenever they bring up the 1MDB and other MO1 related issues. And Anifah has been obliged to 'tolerate' China.

The Ministers are split in their support for MO1.  Talk is MOI has complained more than once that not all Ministers are with him to fend off Dr Mahathir's attacks.   Which is true because not all Ministers attack Tun Dr Mahathir. Many remain quiet. Their feeling is, "Duit dia bantai, lepas tu suruh kita defend pula."

Even among the Advisors around MOI  they are split. Not all of them support MOI. Talk is that one Se·ño·ra who publicly supports MOI says many (but true) things about him in private.  "  .  .. di belakang kata macam-macam".  So there is plenty of hypocrisy going on.  Are we surprised?

And Sarawak under the new Chief Minister Abang Jo is pulling even farther away from MOI.  Sarawak is reiterating that they will work "with the sitting Prime Minister".  Their loyalty is NOT to MOI.  The 31 parliamentary seats in Sarawak will support whoever is PM.

And if Shafie Apdal wins in Sabah, then Sarawak is prepared to follow 'Sabah's lead' in dealing with Putrajaya.  Sarawak has made it plain that they do not want UMNO in Sarawak. Sabah also does not want UMNO. Together Sarawak and Sabah will work to 'send UMNO back' to Semenanjung.

On the ground level, the sentiment among the people in Sarawak is increasingly against UMNO / BN (from the Semenanjung).    This is no great secret.

Lets see what the cat drags onto the lawn tomorrow. - ostb

- mk

Dr.M - Come after me
after we get rid of Najib

Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad told a rather hostile crowd at a Reformasi event today that they could take action against him after they have worked together to win the next election.

"Can we unite and fight to get rid of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak? That is the main thing.

"After that, (if you) want to take action against me, go ahead, I do not mind," Mahathir said during his speech at the Konvesyen Reformis in Shah Alam today.

This appeared to have won over the 300-strong crowd, comprising mostly of supporters of the 1998 Reformasi movement.

One man at the front of the hall howled with laughter and gave Mahathir two thumbs-up. "I salute you!" he shouted.

The Bersatu chairperson had made a surprise appearance at the Reformasi event where he was greeted with shouts of "Reformasi" (Reformation), "Bebas Anwar" (Free Anwar) and “Firaun" (Pharaoh).

Before his arrival, the anti-Mahathir sentiment was palpable, especially whenever the former premier’s name was mentioned by speakers on the podium.

The Reformasi movement was sparked by the arrest and jailing of Anwar Ibrahim in 1998 after he was sacked as deputy prime minister by Mahathir.

The movement, which saw massive protests in the streets of Kuala Lumpur, demanded the resignation of Mahathir.

Anwar's supporters have long blamed Mahathir for Anwar's fall from power and his incarceration over sodomy and corruption charges, which they said were trumped-up.

In his speech today, Mahathir told the unfriendly crowd that they had to set aside personal opinions and emotions and focus on the main fight, which is to get rid of Najib and his government in the upcoming general election.

Image may contain: 6 people, people sitting

In order to bring reforms, he said, they need to gain power first.

"I am not someone who is liked by everyone; a lot of people still do not like me," he said. "That is why I say it is important for us to forget what is in the past.”

The crowd began protesting, and shouts of "(We) cannot forget" filled the hall.

That was when Mahthir told the crowd they could go after him after they have gotten rid of Najib.

Still, not everyone was enamoured by him with some in the crowd calling for him to apologise, which he did not do.

As the crowd's fervour calmed down, Mahathir ended his speech, "If we really want 'reformasi', win the election first."

Otai Reformis 1998 chairperson Saari Sungib later told Malaysiakini that they did not invite Mahathir, but the former premier had requested to attend the event. - mk

Jam Bvlgari - Almarhum Sultan Iskandar

Kata Tun Siti, naik motor besar dia itulah," katanya. Baca seterusnya...

Bvlgari watches, Dr M and
the late sultan of Johor...

Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar had unleashed a vitriolic salvo on a politician, whom he believed could be a little senile due to his advanced age.

Observers claimed that the target was former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Some 24 hours later, a Facebook page for the supporters of Mahathir's son Mukhriz recounted the relationship between the Johor sultan's late father, Sultan Iskandar Sultan Ismail, and Mahathir.

The posting was based on a purported conversation between Party Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) member Adam Mukhriz Mohd Muhayeddin and Mahathir's wife, Dr Siti Hasmah Ali, which kicked off on the watch she was wearing.

“The watch is called Bvlgari (No idea how to pronounce this),” wrote Adam Mukhriz.

“Siti Hasmah related how the late sultan was fond of Mahathir although he criticised and reprimanded the late sultan.

“The late sultan gifted a set of watches, one for Mahathir and one for her,” he added.

According to Adam Mukhriz, Siti Hasmah said it was the current sultan, who upon the request of his late father, who went to Singapore on a “big motorcycle” to purchase the watches.

Image may contain: 2 people, people smiling, people sitting

The posting also stated that when the late sultan was ill and warded at the Gleneagles Hospital, Mahathir and Siti Hasmah visited him.

As the couple was leaving, the posting claimed Mahathir was shocked to find Sultan Iskandar behind him, wanting to send them off to the elevator.

“How much fondness and respect the late sultan had for Mahathir.

“It was because of this, Mahathir was conferred the 'DK 1' award by the late sultan, which is the highest award from Johor,” read the posting, accompanied with the hashtags #KongsiCeritaBenar (sharing a true story), #SejarahTidakMenipu (history never lies), #RakyatTidakLupa (the people won't forget) dan #TidakNyanyuk (not senile).

Speaking at an event in Muar yesterday morning, Sultan Ibrahim criticised a politician, whom he claimed often accused the Malays of having short-term memory, but was now displaying similar traits.

Among others, the Johor ruler said this politician had once described the opposition as his arch rival but now sat at the same table with them. - mk

A suspenseful killing plot...

News of the assassination of Kim Jong-nam, the half-brother of North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un, shocks the world and once again puts the country in international limelight.

International media shift their attention to this country again after the tragic disappearance of MH370, as evidenced by over 200 local and foreign journalists at the deputy IGP's press conference.

The death of Kim Jong-nam has ticked a sensitive nerve on the Korean peninsula. Pyongyang has wanted to hide the actual cause of Kim's death from the global community, and has done everything it could to stop our police from carrying out a post-mortem on Kim's body.

North Korea's ambassador Kang Chol insisted that the deceased was not Kim Jong-nam, and alleged the Malaysian police of concealing the truth. He later accused the country of colluding with South Korea for the benefit of the latter. Kang also requested to join in the police investigation, or Pyongyang would not accept the outcome of investigation carried out by the Malaysian police.

Kang's accusations constitute a major insult to our country. Wisma Putra has on two separate occasions summoned him for an explanation. His allegations were subsequently rebutted by foreign minister Anifah Aman, who also recalled our ambassador to Pyongyang for "consultation". Some say North Korea is an autocratic regime. If Kang were to mishandle this case, he could very well be recalled and executed at home.

Malaysia is the only country to have the rare privilege of enjoying visa exemption for entering North Korea. Nevertheless, all that we know about this reclusive state is probably its continuous pursuit of nuclear weapons. Despite condemnation of the international community and a new round of sanctions imposed by the UN, Pyongyang remains unbending.

Owing to the special background of the deceased, the police have so far kept a tight lip about the whole investigation process. Foreign journalists have to take turns waiting outside the police headquarters, HKL, airport, North Korean embassy and a number of other locations to secure up-to-the-minute first-hand news. Their first relief came on Sunday with an international press conference at Bukit Aman.

Journalists from South Korea are the most aggressive. They have attempted to storm the North Korean embassy on a few occasions. They may have forgotten that embassy premises enjoy extraterritorial status of the represented state, and any violation of the same could be sanctioned under the laws.

Local newspapers have had their own ways of covering this case, and this to a large extent depends on the interpersonal relations of individual reporters and their connections. They have to be very patient, ready to brave all the hardships and challenges in order to grasp the latest information.

From fragmented news reports, photo images and leaked videos, we could more or less put things together into a more complete picture of how it actually happened on that fateful day. Following the briefings by the IGP and his deputy, the picture appears to be much clearer now.

Indeed, the death of Kim Jong-nam has been the work of North Korean agents that probably include also the embassy's second secretary and an Air Koryo employee, who were spotted at the crime scene. The other five suspects are still at large, four having fled the country on the same day.

Reporters today are very lucky, as they have the privilege of covering several landmark incidents of global significance in a short span of three years, although most of them are not what we have hoped for.

Whenever a high-profile incident like this happens, reporters hope they can be picked by their supervisors to cover them. No one wants to miss the excitement and that sense of accomplishment for being left behind.

Kim Jong-nam's assassination is like a suspenseful Korean spy movie that is expected to take quite some time before all the truths eventually come to light.

How did the North Korean agents manage to infiltrate into this country and carry out their killing plan? Why Malaysia? Were the police tipped of any information prior to this? We are still waiting for the police to clear our doubts on these queries.- mysinchew

Kalu Jamal Tongkoi ke pejabat KSU Negeri Selangor hanya memakai tuala,
tak pelik kalu ambil duit dekat mesin ATM pun boleh berpakaian begini.
Mungkin Mak Cik ni terdengar jiran sebelah menjerit cakap BR1M dah masuk,

“Mungkin dia lupa tentang kedaulatan negeri-negeri.

- mk

Honorific Titles Up For Grabs...

The recent arrest of 60 hardened criminals, including four bearing the titles “Datuk” and “Datuk Seri”, amplifies the extent of the title-for-sale racket. Those arrested were from two criminal gangs operating on Penang Island and in Province Wellesley.

They are members of the 360 Devan Gang and Gang 24 who are involved in car hijacking and theft, drug-pushing, loan-sharking, prostitution and other related criminal activities. The gangs would resort to maiming and killing if their demands are not met by their victims.

The fact that their leaders have acquired honourific titles to give credence to their illegal activities has affected the sanctity of titles bestowed by sultans and governors on those who genuinely deserved them. And this is compounded by the oft-quoted joke about throwing a stone in the air and it landing on the head of a datuk. It says a lot about the value of the title “datuk” which is the local equivalent to the Queen-knighted “Sir” of which only a handful of Malaysians are so privileged.

The 360 Devan Gang has the most number of Datuks arrested. The leader of Gang 24 was nicknamed “Datuk M” (Datuk Muda) as he was only 32 years old when he met an untimely death at the hands of his bodyguard.

A fortnight ago a number of Datuks were being rounded up by the anti-corruption agency, MACC for corruption and money laundering. They will be charged in court soon.

Malaysia has gained much publicity for the wrong reasons. We are the country with the highest civil servants to population ratio. At the rate of 1:19.37 we are well ahead of Singapore (1:71.4), Indonesia (1:110) and China (1:108). Soon we will be the country with the highest number of titled crooks.

So why the obsession with the title “datuk” when it is now associated with those from the underworld? The reason is simple. There is this feeling of pride and of fulfillment that come on the heels of those titled “datuk”. If you are a “datuk” you have made it even if you may have nothing much to show in terms of service to the country.

I was at a restaurant recently when an acquaintance announced, rather proudly, that he had just got his “datukship”. I congratulated him. But when I asked which state was his datukship from, he seemed a little reluctant to answer. “Pahang”, he said sheepishly. I think he knows why Pahang’s datukship is being frowned upon.

Incidentally, the state has been dishing out the title in great number. Anyone with the right kind of money can acquire one “over the counter”. It is said that a discount is given if you purchase more than one. According to a Kuala Kangsar-based business entity, orders from Pahang for scrolls, sashes, ribbons and medals are huge.

What is most glaring about the whole episode is the absence of security vetting done on those about to receive titles and awards. That explains why hoodlums and the less savoury are privy to such privilege.

Image result for too many datuks

In the old days getting a medal was reason enough for a “kenduri” (feast). I remember my late granduncle who was awarded an AMP (Ahli Mahkota Perak) in recognition for his services as a village chief; the feast lasted a few days. I wonder how much the poor guy spent to feed the whole kampong. It meant a lot to him then although it was just a minor award.

There were many who refused titles while in office and had only relented when they retired. One was the late Wong Pow Nee, the first Chief Minister of Penang and the other was the late Dr Lim Chong Eu who became a “Tun” upon his retirement. Maxis and Astro boss, Ananda Krishnan, is another living example.

And there are those who insist on being called by the many titles. So you have “Tan Sri, Dato Sri, Dato so and so” when one title is sufficient. Come on, you can’t take your datukship to your grave.

The worse are those who acquire their datukship from bogus sources. There is one in Ipoh, I am told. Many are aware of this guy’s illicit activities.

Will this title-buying spree ever stop? I don’t think so. For as long as there are people who are prepared to give an arm and a leg for a datukship, the business will thrive. The source is irrelevant. - Fathol Zaman Bukhari,Ipoh Echo
