Guru mengamuk pasai bayar RM70, tak ada tempat duduk...

Baru-baru tersebar di laman sosial sebuah video di  SINI  dan  SINI  yang menunjukkan seorang guru wanita sedang mengamuk di dalam bilik mesyuarat ketika mesyuarat sedang berlangsung.

Guru yang dikatakan berkhidmat di sebuah sekolah di Kulim, Kedah telah menunjukkan reaaksi yang tidak melambangkan profesionalisme seorang guru di Malaysia. 

Sehubungan itu siasatan dilakukan untuk mengetahui punca guru wanita itu bertindak di luar kawalan.

"Siasatan awal mendapati kejadian berlaku pada 24 Januari 2018 dan telah tular sehingga menimbulkan keresahan banyak pihak," menurut kenyataan itu.

Rakaman hampir empat minit yang tular di media sosial menunjukkan guru tersebut meninggikan suara kerana dipercayai tidak diberikan tempat duduk dalam sebuah mesyuarat dihadirinya selepas membuat bayaran sebanyak RM70.

"Bahasa Inggeris kamu sungguh teruk. saya sudah bayar RM70, tak ada tempat duduk. 

"Saya minta tempat itu, tetapi mereka keluarkan dan pindahkan meja itu," katanya sambil menghentakkan tangan di atas meja dan beberapa kali dilihat meludah di dalam bilik mesyuarat berkenaan.

Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM), mengeluarkan satu kenyataan media menerusi laman Facebook rasmi KPM.

Dalam kenyataan tersebut, siasatan awal mendapati kejadian berlaku pada 24 Januari 2018 dan telah menjadi tular sehingga menimbulkan kerasahan ramai pihak.

Susulan daripada kejadian itu, KPM telah mengarahkan Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Kedah untuk menempatkan dengan kadar segera guru berkenaan di Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Kulim Bandar Baharu bermula 26 Januari 2018 sementara siasatan dijalankan.

KPM juga mengingatkan kepada semua guru dan juga pentadbir sekolah agar sentiasa berkelakuan serta bertindak secara profesional terutamanya ketika berhadapan dengan rakan sekerja, murid-murid serta masyarakat supaya kejadian seperti ini tidak berulang lagi.

KPM juga menegaskan kepada semua penjawat awam agar sentiasa menjadi contoh terbaik untuk masyarakat agar profesion sebagai seorang guru tidak menjadi bahan ketawa masyarakat.-mk/siakapkeli.my

Mahathir's wife questioned 

by Malaysian police...

Malaysian police on Friday (Jan 26) questioned Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, the 91-year-old wife of former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, over a speech she gave at a women’s rally against “toxic politics” last year.

This was the first time the soft-spoken, low-key medical doctor had “ever been questioned” by the police, according to her lawyer Mohamed Haniff Khatri Abdulla.

“She is being investigated under Section 9 of the Peaceful Assembly Act for a speech she made at the Purple Walk last year on Sep 10,” said Haniff after the questioning, which took place at the Al-Bukhary Foundation in Kuala Lumpur (KL), also Dr Mahathir’s office.

“She was questioned for an hour-and-a-half. We don’t know whether there will be further questioning by the police. Neither do we know whether there will be any charges brought against her,” Haniff added.

The wife of former Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad, Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, was recently questioned by police over a speech she gave at the women's rally Purple Walk in 2017.

The Purple Walk drew about 1,000 women, who rallied at Maju Junction in downtown KL. A report was lodged against Siti Hasmah on the same day. 

Both her lawyer and her daughter, Marina Mahathir, viewed the questioning as “some kind of harassment". 

“I think this is some kind of harassment. They (police) asked whether she organised the rally. She did not,” said Marina.
“They are picking on her," the 60-year-old added. 

Lawyer Haniff said if the police wanted to find out what Siti Hasmah had said, they could have just viewed a clip of her speech, which was uploaded on YouTube.

“There was no need to question a 91-year-old elderly citizen like this. It could have been viewed on YouTube,” he said. - channelnewsasia

PH delegation led by Tun M met 14 ambassadors of EU countries

I believe this picture(above) is from the Chinese Press. You cannot find this type of relevant news in the Utusan. Pembaca depa tak boleh faham. It shows ambassadors from 14 different European nations having a meeting with the Pakatan Harapan leadership especially Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed.

Obviously so many European ambassadors wanted to meet with Tun Dr Mahathir because they sense that Pakatan Harapan has a high chance of winning the next General Elections and also of Tun Dr Mahathir become the next Prime Minister.

Obviously they wanted to hear for themselves what is in store for Malaysia - EU relations if Dr Mahathir becomes PM again. What will be Malaysia's policies, including our foreign policies (less relevant) and our trade policies (very relevant).  

Anyway, this meeting with 14 European ambassadors is revealing of the fact that foreign nations have very high regard for the fact that Tun Dr Mahathir has cobbled together a highly united and focused Opposition to take on the kleptpocratic BN gomen.

The fact that Tun Dr Mahathir has been unanimously chosen to be the Pakatan Harapan's candidate for PM has completely put to rest all criticisms that the PH could not even agree on a PM candidate. In fact ever since Dr Mahathir was confirmed as the Pakatan's PM candidate the prepaid bloggers, the butt lickers, the thieves, the crooks, and the corrupt  have been in serious panic mode.  They know their days are numbered.

Super Moron has said that there is an international conspiracy to expose his stealing from the public treasury. So these 14 European ambassadors meeting up with Tun Dr Mahathir must be a part of this international conspiracy.  Why not Super Moron break diplomatic ties with these 14 EU countries? Maybe by next Tuesday - after filing that Tuesday lawsuit againt the WSJ.

However note that this meeting with the EU ambassadors has taken place AFTER a more significant event has taken place within the Pakatan Rakyat. This is the allocation of Parliamentary seats among the main component parties of the PR. On the Peninsula the Pribumi Bersatu gets to contest in 52 seats, Amanah 27 seats, DAP 35 and PKR 51. This is a fantastic achievement.

And also significantly Tun Dr Mahathir has cleverly kicked out PAS from any membership in the PR.   This is the end of PAS.  That is truly a party of the munafiks, Parti Ajaran Syait_n. 

Even in Sabah, the PH has come into existence (yes with formal reference to PH) with Parti Warisan Sabah leading the charge.  The presence of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin recently in Sabah helped to sort out issues over seat allocations and seal a freindship between PH and the Sabah parties, namely Shafie Apdal and Parti Warisan Sabah. They are working hard on the ground in Sabah.

These two big events ie the naming of Tun Dr Mahathir as PH's candidate for PM as well as the seat allocations among PH parties, so early and ahead of the elections, is a great achievement that has not gone unnoticed. 

Last night I met a friend who is a candidate for the PH and has already begun campaigning on the ground in his area.  (Cannot tell who and where lah).

Now the longer the thieves wait to dissolve Parliament, the more time the Pakatan Harapan has to campaign and prepare the ground. Even if they dissolve Parliament tomorrow, it will still not help them. 

The peoples' anger is now at a peak.  If they wait longer, will the peoples' anger cool off?  I dont think so.  The peak may go even higher. The people are just about ready to 'burn down the barn'.  It is too late for the BN.
  
I have some extra news here. A national level persatuan with over 40,000 members and another 60,000 supporters and dependents wants to endorse the Pakatan Harapan as their choice to lead the nation.  (For obvious reasons I cannot mention their name). This is quite unprecedented because this persatuan has not done such a thing before.

Now, this endorsement may or may not happen. The Thieves may buy off the leaders with money. But that does not change the fact that 40,000 members and office bearers of this sizeable persatuan are fed up with the Thieves running the gomen.  There is a tsunami already building up.

And finally, for the second time, I am hearing that more mid level and some senior UMNO leaders are sending feelers over to Pakatan Harapan leaders. They are prepared to 'talk'.  Some are willing to work from the 'inside'.  Bukan begitu bah ?

Some of them maybe buying insurance but that is not the main point.  The main point is they too are aware that the BN is going to get kicked out.   Time is up. Folks, it is too late for UMNO and the BN. No matter what they do now - pay money, buy off people, charge people in court, arrest them for corruption etc - it is too late.

PAS matang dan sejahtera dengan GST dan 1MDB...

1. Semenjak Tok Guru Nik Abdul Aziz meninggal dunia, kewujudan PAS sudah berubah. Malahan, semua mengetahui bahawa perubahan PAS itu amat ketara. PAS yang dulu, bukan lagi PAS yang sekarang.

2. Dahulu, tiada slogan matang dan sejahtera, PAS tidak kelihatan mesra UMNO/BN. Namun berubah selepas kemangkatan Allahyarham Tok Guru Nik Abdul Aziz, slogan matang dan sejahtera mula dimainkan, dan PAS pula kelihatan semakin mesra UMNO/BN.

3. Atas alasan matang dan sejahtera, PAS menampilkan dirinya seakan-akan berseteru dengan warga bukan Melayu. Jika dahulu, keris dijulang oleh UMNO dalam majlis rasmi mereka, Tok Guru Nik Abdul Aziz selalunya mengeluarkan kenyataan menolak amalan perkauman. Namun, semenjak slogan Matang dan sejahtera lahir selepas kemangkatan Tok Guru Nik Abdul Aziz, keris dan sundang sudah dijulang oleh Presidennya sendiri dalam majlis rasmi.

4. Tidak ada siapa yang dapat nafikan, bahawa semenjak slogan matang dan sejahtera, ugutan kalah oleh PAS hampir tidak keluar lagi terhadap UMNO/BN. Yang ada pula, ugutan kalah terhadap sesiapa sahaja yang melawan BN, malahan menjadi agenda slogan matang dan sejahtera yang diperkenalkan oleh PAS.

5. Semenjak dua ini, kelihatan PAS jadikan Parlimen Permatang Pauh sebagai serangan PAS. Namun, atas alasan matang dan sejahtera, tidak hairan pada kala ini hampir tidak kedengaran langsung serangan terhadap Parlimen Pekan yang diketuai bapa GST, Najib Abdul Razak.

6. Atas alasan matang dan sejahtera, PAS seakan-akan kabur bahawa sebarang tindakan mereka pada hari ini banyak memberi keuntungan kepada UMNO/BN. Ekoran itu, walaupun mereka tidak mengakuinya, tetapi dari sudut tindakan PAS kelihatan seakan-akan redha dengan tekanan kehidupan rakyat Malaysia yang terbeban dengan GST, seakan-akan redha imej negara rosak atas isu 1MDB, seakan-akan redha dengan peluang pekerjaan rakyat semakin merosot dan banyak lagi kebobrokan yang sedang menimpa negara.

7. Lebih menarik untuk diperhatikan, bahawa mereka seakan-akan tidak suka andai ada pihak yang berlawan dengan UMNO/BN, lawan GST, lawan 1MDB, lawan penyelewengan felda dan banyak lagi. Malahan, seakan-akan PAS anggap pihak ini seperti musuh.

8. PAS seakan-akan tidak bersetuju andai ada “orang-orang berdosa” membantu dalam usaha melawan GST dan 1MDB. Seakan-akan mereka tidak anggap imej negara yang dirosakkan oleh UMNO-BN ini seperti berdosa.

9. Sedarkah PAS, bahawa mereka bukanlah kalangan yang suci, walaupun tindakan menampilkan mereka seakan-akan suci. Malahan, andai mereka membaca wahyu, pasti mereka sedar bahawa Islam mengajar bahawa melawan kejahatan itu adalah baik, walaupun ia dari orang jahat; mendokong kejahatan adalah jahat walaupun ia datang dari Orang yang digelar baik.

10. Peliknya, mereka seperti tidak sedar apabila mereka mendakwa bahawa mereka adalah golongan yang melakukan pembaikan negara, sedangkan hakikat tindakan mereka memberi keuntungan kepada UMNO BN yang sedang merosakkan negara. Mungkin PAS perlu renung Firman Allah dalam surah Al-Baqarah, ayat 11 dan 12 – Dan apabila dikatakan kepada mereka: “Janganlah kamu membuat bencana dan kerosakan di muka bumi”, mereka menjawab: ” Sesungguhnya kami orang-orang yang hanya membuat kebaikan” * “Ketahuilah! Bahawa sesungguhnya mereka itulah orang-orang yang sebenar-benarnya membuat bencana dan kerosakan, tetapi mereka tidak menyedarinya” - Wan Ji Wan Hussin.

MP wants update on MACC chief 

'enticed married woman' probe...

An opposition lawmaker has urged the police to provide an update on the investigation into an alleged scandal involving MACC chief commissioner Dzulkifli Ahmad.

Gobind Singh Deo, who is also DAP deputy chairperson, said the police have been silent on the matter for a long time.

"Things appear to have gone silent. I want to know why.

"If police can wrap up their investigations so quickly into 'big and complicated' cases such as the land in Jalan Semarak, why is there a delay in the probe into video clips?" the Puchong MP asked in a statement today.

The Jalan Semarak case refers to the alleged dubious transfer of Felda-owned land to a private entity.

Felda has recovered the land and police have submitted their investigation papers to the Attorney-General's Chambers (AGC).

The last update from inspector-general of police Mohamad Fuzi Harun on the case involving Dzulkifli (photo), was on Dec 6, 2017, where he said police would wrap up their probe within a week.

The police are investigating Dzulkifli under Section 498 of the Penal Code for allegedly enticing a married woman.

Police have submitted their investigation papers to the AGC twice, but the papers were were rejected and Fuzi said the police "have many follow-up steps to take before we re-submit the papers". - mk

Why is Najib afraid of a 93-year-old?

As Dr Mahathir Mohamad looks back on his successes and his achievements for the nation, his recollections are tinged with sadness. The former prime minister is not blind. He sees a nation which is torn apart. The Malays are focused on life after death. The politicians whom he once mentored are greedy and put self, above service to the nation.

Mahathir realizes that he has one last chance to make things right, for Malaysia. He needs to repair his tarnished reputation and he knows he cannot do it alone. The opposition parties, cannot do it by themselves, nor can we, act on our own; but together, we have a chance.

Mahathir's resurgence into our lives, and politics, is one of many ironies. If most of the people he locked away under the ISA are prepared to work with him for a better Malaysia, why not you? Many Malays live a hand-to-mouth existence, wondering how they will pay for their next meal.

The rural Malays identify with Mahathir. They will listen to him, and the language he uses to weave his magic over them is simple and straightforward. 1MDB has very little traction with the Malays, but the GST has hit them hard.

Mahathir knows that they have no knowledge of money trails, offshore banks or money laundering. These are all alien concepts to them. Where the Opposition has been unable to enter the Malay rural heartlands, Mahathir can. In Mahathir's time, you rarely heard people in the entertainment world talking about the cost of living. Today, singers and actresses have been vocal about the many hardships of Malaysians.

When the current crop of ministers and senior politicians criticise these celebrities, they make matters worse and drive home the message that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak is out of touch with the ordinary Malaysians. When Mahathir and Anwar introduced changes to the local Malaysian Islamic scene, it was to counter the rising popularity of PAS at the time. PAS felt energized by the Islamic revolution that had taken over Iran.

Three-and-a-half decades later, Iran is seeing pockets of resistance against the rising conservatism, which has taken hold in Iran, while Malaysia appears to be trapped in a time warp. Malaysians swell with pride when they see the Petronas Twin Towers, but Mahathir is aware that the soul of the country is as cold as the steel and concrete in its foundations, and lacks moral fiber.

The national car project, Proton, mobilized the rural folk and gave them a form of independence, but Najib has sold it to the People's Republic of China. Under Mahathir, the national airline, MAS, connected Malaysia to six continents, but today, London is its only European destination.

Umno-Baru has always told its Malay support base that it is the only party which can protect the Malays and defend Islam, lest the DAP-led opposition, which will undermine the position of the Malays. What can Najib say or do with Mahathir at the helm of the opposition? Mahathir is neither Chinese, nor a DAP stooge. In fact, it is Najib who appears to have "sold" Malaysia to the mainland Chinese.

In recent days, Umno-Baru said that it was Abdul Razak Hussein, Najib's father, who rescued Mahathir from the political wilderness, after he was banished from the party, by Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra. They failed to mention that Razak helped create Felda, but that his son has destroyed Felda.

Mahathir was involved in the constitutional crisis of 1987, had his spat with the judiciary and subsequently created the new party, Umno-Baru. He knows the party's weaknesses and strengths. He is prepared to destroy Umno-Baru because he can see that it has become a monster. He is the person who is best qualified to do the job.

"Can a 92 year-old man be a prime minister?" so asked Jibby last month at the Sarawak United People's Party delegates at the close of their triennial conference. Jibby pointed out that age mattered even in Zimbabwe — referring to the recent ouster of president Robert Mugabe who is 93. Let's see whether Regan was too old to be President then...

Mahathir attracts record crowds in villages

When Mahathir visits the villages, he attracts record crowds. He does not need much publicity, whereas when Najib goes on these village walkabouts, he has been known to have a bunting of his father, Razak, and leaflets, reminding people of his father's greatness. How insecure is that?

We hear allegations that, in the past, Mahathir admonished, and threatened to sack, heads of departments who refused to kowtow to him. Today, Najib and his ministers openly threaten to sack teachers or civil servants who vote for, or support the opposition. Things must be desperate in today's Umno-Baru.

We are all a product of Mahathir's policies. What is done, is done. We cannot cry over spilled milk, but we can at least ensure that we take precautions, to prevent a recurrence. Today, we are on the cusp of a new beginning, but we have the moaners, complaining about Mahathir and the past, rather than focusing on the future.

What is there to lose, if we work together with Mahathir to rebuild Malaysia? He is not going to live forever. The opposition politicians are not so stupid that they will allow him to build a new Mahathir empire.

Lessons have been learned, but you need to have a modicum of trust. Would you prefer to live in the past and continue moaning, or spoil your votes, or boycott GE14? Or are you ready to take this leap forward and change? It is not about you, or me, or Mahathir. Najib cuba remeh skandal 1MDB...

Perdana Menteri Najib Razak dikecam oleh kumpulan masyarakat sivil dan seorang ahli Parlimen kerana cuba memperkecilkan skandal besar yang melingkari firma pelaburan negara 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) semalam.

Mereka menegaskan Jabatan Kehakiman Amerika Syarikat (DoJ) menggelarnya sebagai kleptokrasi terbesar di dunia dan badan perundangan negara lain seperti Switzerland dan Singapura sudah mengambil tindakan terhadap bank dan individu berhubung dakwaan wang haram yang dikaitkan dengan 1MDB.

Sebaliknya, Malaysia tidak mengambil tindakan terhadap sesiapapun.

Najib memberitahu pelabur semalam yang masalah 1MDB dijadikan senyata oleh pembangkang untuk menyerang kerajaan.

“Sekarang, saya tak akan ketepikan isu ini. Memang syarikat lemah, ada urus tadbir lemah. Ada sebab sahih untuk isu ini,” katanya ketika berucap di majlis Invest Malaysia 2018 di Kuala Lumpur.

“Sebab itulah saya arahkan satu siasatan menyeluruh dan terperinci dalam sejarah korporat di Malaysia, yang melibatkan pelbagai badan berkuasa, termasuk badan Parlimen dwipartisan.

“Penemuan mereka diambil kira dan lembaga syarikat itu pun dibubarkan, pasukan pengurusnya ditukar, dan operasinya dinilai semula,” kata Najib.

Setiausaha Publisiti Kebangsaan DAP, Tony Pua, bagaimanapun menegaskan di luar negara, ada bank ditutup dan mereka yang bekerjasama dipenjarakan kerana dakwaan wang haram yang dikaitkan dengan 1MDB.

“(Tetapi) tiada tindakan diambil di Malaysia, malah tidak ada percubaan untuk mendapatkan semula dana yang dicuri. Jadi apa sebenarnya yang dijadikan senjata,” kata Pua.

“Bagaimana pula dengan AS$4 bilion atau lebih yang hilang, yang AS kenal pasti sebagai dicuri daripada 1MDB untuk membeli kapal layar mewah, jet peribadi, hartanah di seluruh dunia, lukisan unik dan terkenal serta menghasilkan filem Hollywood?”

Pua dan Pengarah Eksekutif Pusat Membanteras Rasuah dan Kronisme (C4) Cynthia Gabriel berkata, Najib belum menjelaskan mengenai kenyataan DoJ yang AS$681 juta dipindahkan dari 1MDB ke akaun banknya.

“Adakah ia ‘dijadikan senjata’ kerana kononnya penderma Arab menghilangkan diri selepas DoJ AS mendedahkan transaksi di atas?” soal Pua.

Cynthia berkata kegagalan 1MDB disebabkan oleh pelaburan sengaja digagalkan, penipuan transaksi dan penggunaan bank luar pesisir dan syarikat bayangan, serta pembelian hartanah mewah dan lukisan.

“Satu-satunya cara bagi Najib untuk merapatkan defisit kepercayaan yang besar ialah jika beliau memberitahu kebenaran. Dedahkan laporan 1MDB. Bertanggungjawablah. Bekerjasama dalam siasatan jenayah (luar negara), barulah rakyat akan yakin,” katanya. 

Pengerusi Bersih 2.0 Maria Chin Abdullah turut mengkritik Najib kerana secara konsisten menafikan wujudnya rasuah dalam 1MDB.

“Sejak penyingkiran bekas peguam negara (Abdul) Gani Patail, tindakan membersihkan segera nama perdana menteri daripada tuduhan rasuah dengan pelantikan peguam negara baru, hingga menggenakan Akta Rahsia Rasmi terhadap laporan yang dikatakan Najib, jangan bersihkan beliau daripada tuduhan rasuah,” kata Maria.

7 tahun lalu Anwar dah kata Najib berbohong pasai 1MDB.Najib ketawa dan memperlekehkannya. Sekarang Najib buat koner baring dan mengaku kegagalan 1MDB.Tengoklah kesan 1MDB,kita kena tanggung hutangnya berbilion RM dok bayaq bunganya saja...

Beliau berkata banyak kenyataan janggal dikeluarkan Putrajaya dan laporan daripada penyiasatan di luar negara menunjukkan perbezaan besar dalam tindakan mereka terhadap 1MDB.

“Percubaan kerajaan (Malaysia) menutup dan mengetepikan isu ini disedari orang ramai,” kata Maria, mengulangi gesaan Bersih 2.0 agar Najib untuk meletak jawatan sebagai menteri kewangan dan membuat laporan audit terhadap 1MDB.

“SPRM juga harus diberi kuasa sepenuhnya untuk menyiasat perkara tersebut dan mengemukakan penemuan mereka secara terbuka tanpa gangguan atau ancaman oleh kerajaan.”

Pada 2016, DoJ berkata kira-kira AS$731 juta ditemui dalam akaun Malaysian Official No. 1 Malaysia (MO1).

DoJ tidak menamakan Najib tetapi Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri Abdul Rahman Dahlan kemudian mengesahkan MO1 adalah perdana menteri.

DoJ juga memfailkan saman sivil merampas lebih AS$1 bilion dalam bentuk hartanah, hak filem dan aset lain.

EPF and PNB long term investment konon. Well, when you speculate wrongly, short term does become long term. Everyone knows that. Just how long is long term? 5 years? 15 years? 

And who will pay for the holding costs over 5 years or 15 years? The EPF contributors? The Amanah Saham investors?  Please tell Wahid The Uber Driver to read some simple management books. 

MO1 wanted the deal done. That Mat Salleh commission agent was pushing the deal. Now you are stuck. Its as simple as that. Stuck with our money.

Now you are left holding the baby. Now you have to make a silk purse out of the sow's ear. Kalau tak faham, you can Google silk purse and sow's ear.

This is the cleverest thing you have said all day.  When the ketuanan boys take our money overseas, too often they make losses. Tabung Haji, Felda, Mara, PNB, EPF etc. 

EPF does make money overseas by handing over our money to reputable investment managers. Plus they have (or should have) strict guidelines and SOPs. 

We are fortunate that there are other Malaysian listed companies who have ventured overseas and quite successfully.  These are companies that have been squeezed out of the Malaysian market for lack of a level playing field. 

If you cannot get the approvals or the licenses then you cannot expand your business. So they venture overseas and are doing very well.

I want to point out two such companies. One is OCK and the other is JAKS. OCK is the brainchild and baby of Mr Ooi Chin Khoon (OCK). They build those telecommunications towers.   They began their business in Malaysia but soon hit their "limits". Still OCK runs a network of 200 telecom towers around Malaysia.

OCK has ventured into Myanmar and Vietnam where they are now the largest builder and operator of telecommunications towers in that country. They have a contract to build and operate 920 towers in Myanmar.  

In Vietnam OCK is the largest operator of BTS (Base Transceiver Stations) on rooftops, on the ground etc. They have 1980 BTS in Veitnam.

They have a solid revenue and profits growth over the PAST FIVE YEARS. - ostb

Tanah Felda Jalan Semarak hilang buat selamanya...

Felda's Jalan Semarak land 'gone forever'

Saya memberi ruang sepenuhnya kepada kepimpinan Felda untuk meneruskan sandiwara mengenai tanah Felda yang dilaporkan hilang hakmilik dan kemudiannya telah mendapat kembali hakmilik.

Sepanjang sebulan sandiwara ini dimainkan, saya menunggu sama ada Tan Sri Shahrir Samad akan menjelaskan perkara yang sebenarnya kepada rakyat. Malangnya, beliau terus terjebak dengan sandiwara politik untuk meredakan kemarahan rakyat mengenai kerosakan yang telah berlaku ke atas Felda, sehingga beliau sempat mengeluarkan sindiran seolah-olah “kejayaan” Felda mendapatkan kembali tanah tersebut adalah hasil doa Perdana Menteri di Mekah.

Saya bersimpati kerana ramai rakyat kebanyakan yang tidak biasa dengan selok belok pembangunan tanah dan undang-undang tanah yang dengan mudah boleh terpedaya dengan sandiwara politik tersebut.

Hari ini, saya ingin menegaskan bahawa tanah Felda yang diwar-warkan kononnya telah didapati kembali hakmiliknya, sebenarnya telah hilang buat selama-lamanya.

Saya ingin mengingatkan perkara-perkara berikut:

i. Beberapa bidang tanah milik Felda ini telah diserahkan kepada sebuah syarikat pemaju yang bernama Symphony Promenade Sdn Bhd (SPSB) untuk membangunkan beberapa menara pejabat dan kediaman mewah

ii. Apabila pembangunan itu diteruskan, lot-lot bangunan itu akan dijual kepada pembeli-pembeli dan hakmilik bangunan bertingkat itu akan bertukar dari hakmilik tanah kepada hakmilik strata (satu hakmilik strata setiap satu ruang pejabat atau kediaman mewah yang dijual kepada pembeli)

iii. Hakmilik bangunan tersebut akhirnya adalah milik pembeli-pembeli persendirian dan bukan lagi hakmilik Felda, walaupun kini hakmilik tanah masih lagi dalam pegangan Felda

Sebab itu saya mahu mengingatkan Tan Sri Shahrir Samad bagaimana pendirian beliau sendiri telah berubah dalam tempoh sebulan mengenai pembangunan tanah-tanah tersebut.

Apabila beliau mula-mula mendedahkan sandiwara tanah ini, beliau dilaporkan oleh Berita Harian bertarikh 21 Disember 2017 bahawa Felda tidak berminat untuk meneruskan projek pembangunan KLVC di atas tanah-tanah Felda itu. Baca seterusnya...

FELDA hanya dapat balik fotostat geran saja.

Sejarah membuktikan bahawa bila PAS bersendirian PAS hilang kerusi, tak boleh menang. PAS tahu hakikat ini tetapi PAS masih mahu bertanding juga walaupun ditempat yang PAS tahu terang terang PAS tak boleh menang.

Jadi apakah sebab sebenarnya yang PAS kali ini tiba tiba berkelakuan seperti orang tak tahu berpolitik?

Semua pengundi sedar bahawa PAS, dari sebuah parti politik yang dari mula keujudannya sehinggalah kebelakangan ini, dibawah kepimpinan haji Hadi, menentang sekuat kuatnya UMNO. 

Tetapi sudah bertukar warna terhadap UMNO dalam permainannya. Ayat-ayat PAS sudah condung mengapongkan umno yg hampir tenggelam. 

Mengapa? UMNO lebih Islam sekarang dibawah Najib dengan 1 MDB, keruntuhan FELDA, kandang lembu, RM2.6 bilion, 42 juta dalam akaun persendirian Najib?.....apakah ini amalan Islam?

PAS sudah hilang pegangan. PAS sudah buang prinsip dan nilai Islam kerana mengapongkan kleptocracy.

Akibat pertandingan PAS ditempat tempat yg nayata PAS akan kalah hanyalah bertujuan untuk memecahkan undi penentang UMNO dan Najib. PAS hanya hendak menolong memenangkan UMNO dan Najib dengan memecahkan undi pembangkang.

Harapan PAS hanyalah untuk mendapat dua atau tiga jawatan timbalan menteri kalau Najib menang pilihanraya nanti!

Inilah yg dikataknkan "undi PAS adalah undi UMNO"!

Dr Mahathir Mohamad spearheading Pakatan Harapan's 14th general election charge is not a case of the Machiavellian idea of the end justifying the means, according to PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli.

Claiming that many have missed the point, the Pandan lawmaker explained that winning Putrajaya is not the end which the opposition coalition seeks. Harapan, he added, is seeking an end to a system which has been in place for six-decades under Umno and BN's uninterrupted stranglehold on federal power.

“For that to happen, we must embrace changes as a process, not as a means to an end.

“Who is leading the charge to Putrajaya is less important than educating the Malays of the excesses of Umno so that we can break the racial stranglehold and emancipate the Malays once and for all.

“Whose record is less corrupt is less important than getting overwhelming public support for the restoration of public institutions' integrity and independence so that no one can ever rob the public coffers and get away with it.

“If we manage to do this, there is only one winner – not BN, not Harapan. The rakyat are the winner. They can install and throw out anyone without having to worry how an individual can have so much power over a group of people,” he told Malaysiakini.

Rafizi was responding to an article published in the Nikkei's Asian Review, in which Tokyo-based journalist William Pesek claimed that GE14 was more about Najib and Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak brawling over who is less unscrupulous as opposed to finding a way forward for the nation. The PKR leader pointed out that at the end of Mahathir's rule, no journalist could have predicted that less than a decade later, Umno's hegemony would come under threat. Rafizi said the unthinkable happens when the process of change emancipates society.

“Once the people realise they hold the power and there are strong safeguards in the system against the excesses of the executive, leaders come and go.

“If by allowing Mahathir to lead the charge hastens the momentum of the process for change, I say so be it. Because what we did in the past to keep the momentum was more unthinkable,” he added.

'Some Chinese friends took years to accept Anwar'

On the same note, Rafizi said he does not blame those who with a cynical view and commentators being puzzled with Harapan's decision to provide Mahathir with such a crucial role.

“If I were to provide a diagnosis to explain the cynicism, the mismatch of expectation lies with (cynics') failure to understand that Malaysian society has embraced competitive politics more readily than the cynics and commentators had thought possible,” he added.

Rafizi recalled how he failed to understand the reason his older friends disagreed with the Reformasi movement, which he embraced, in 1998.

“They said it was all about Anwar (Ibrahim) and it would not have made any difference even if Anwar won then.

“Some Chinese friends took years before they could accept that Anwar was a changed man than the powerful deputy prime minister he was while he was still in Umno,” he said.

In retrospect, Rafizi said if he were a 40-year-old middle management employee in 1998, he might not have supported the Reformasi movement or joined PKR.

“I would not have believed that a multiracial party with sizeable Malay members would survive Malaysian politics because up till 1998, none ever did.

“But as a 40-year-old, we dreamed less and we calculated more. We were less idealistic and we tend to choose safety. Therefore, we spent more time thinking about what could go wrong instead of what opportunities lie ahead.

“But the young do not remember the past that much. They are not shackled by the misgivings of the past.

“So foolishly, a lot of us who jumped on the Reformasi bandwagon in 1998 in our late teens stayed foolish and went on to seek 'change' (whatever that meant then). In the process, we pushed the boundaries and rewrote the rules,” he added. - mk

Felda 'Lelong' Resort...

Felda is calling for contractors to bid for the management of their resorts in Trolak, Hot Springs, Kuala Terengganu, Tekan (??) and Tanjong Leman.

Obviously Felda cannot manage this by themselves. Allow me to give Felda some advise. This 'outsourcing' will not work. 

Unless Felda gives away the running of the resorts for free.  No profit sharing, no franchise fees, nothing. Even then it will still not work. 

I can tell you why.Tapi saya pun letih lah.Penat. Malas nak memikir !!

There is a FOUR LETTER word involved. It is called  W  O  R  K....

Most of these GLC and gomen run hotels, resorts etc depend a lot on the gomen for business. Kursus for teachers, gomen officers, kursus jabatan agama, seminars etc. 

Now the gomen has no more money. The Navy has no money to run the ships and submarines as much. The Airforce has no money to fly airplanes as much. The universities have no money.

So which gomen department is going to book rooms in hotels and resorts for seminars and kursus?So Felda Residences will tutup kedai.  

There is a major plus point though. These Resorts have a huge competitive advantage which few other places have. They can indeed become successful and money spinners.  

But I am not sharing. Letih lah. Penat. Malas nak memikir. - ostb
