The Kuala Lumpur High Court has ordered the government to reply to Anwar Ibrahim's application to set aside his Sodomy II conviction following the allegation that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak paid RM9.5 million to the case's prosecutor Muhammad Shafee Abdullah.

The directive was given by Justice Kamaludin Md Said following case management today. Justice Kamaludin said the affidavit in reply to Anwar's application must be submitted by July 12.

According to Anwar's lawyer, Latheefa Koya, the judge also directed Muhammad Shafee, who was named by Anwar in the discovery application, to submit his application by July 19.

Justice Kamaludin fixed Aug 3 as the next case management date.

Senior federal counsel Nadia Hanim Tajuddin appeared for the government while Sarah Abishegam appeared for Muhammad Shafee. Najib was not represented.

Muhammad Shafee was appointed lead prosecutor by then attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail when Sodomy II reached the Court of Appeal and Federal Court stages.

Allegations of the RM9.5 million payment surfaced on whistleblower website Sarawak Report, which cited documents from Malaysian investigators.

Malaysiakini is unable to independently verify Sarawak Report’s allegation. Both Najib and Muhammad Shafee have yet to respond to repeated requests for comment.

Following Sarawak Report's claim, Anwar filed a suit on June 9 naming the government as the defendant to set aside his conviction in light of the alleged RM9.5 million payment.

He also filed a discovery application last week seeking a court order for Najib and Shafee to reveal their financial statements in relation to the allegation.

Anwar wants both Najib and Shafee to reveal their bank account statements, between Aug 2013 and Oct 2013, and Jan 2014 to March 2014, especially in relation to the alleged payments on Sept 11, 2013, and Feb 17, 2014, respectively. - mk

UMNO kepadanya...

Pas mengajak KEADILAN dan PPBM tinggalkan Pakatan Harapan (PH) sebab Pas mahu PH berpecah. Jika PH pecah, BN akan menang mudah. Inilah usaha untuk membalas budi Umno kepada Pas.

Apa saja Pas sanggup buat, termasuk jilat balik semua kata-kata buruknya kepada KEADILAN dan PPBM, bukan sangat untuk berbaik-baik dengan KEADILAN dan PPBM tetapi untuk pecahkan PH.

Pas sangat senang hati jika PH pecah seperti Pas senang hati kerana PR pecah. Itulah kerja Pas, kacau ganggu dan pecahkan pakatan yang boleh ganggu-gugat BN.

Itulah hasrat BN, tidak mahu adanya pakatan parti-parti pencabar BN yang kuat. Tugas kacau ganggu penggugat BN diserah kepada Pas dan dibiayai oleh Umno.

Jika Pas mahu tumbangkan BN, Pas bukan ganggu PH tetapi berusaha untuk menyertai PH. Sebarang perbezaan yang wujud antara AMANAH dan DAP yang tidak disukai Pas boleh saja diurus dan diserasikan.

Sebelum ini pun, dalam PR, perbezaan pendapat diurus dengan baik. PR terbarai apabila Pas makan dedak Umno.

Laungan Islam Pas hanya fatamorgana saja. Laungan itu tidak lebih sekadar mengelabukan mata orang ramai, kononnya parti itu masih bernuansa Islam.

Everyone knows about the Sturgeon Case in FELDA. How Lembaga Felda lost RM 47.6 Million in a company called FELDACaviartive Sdn Bhd, purportedly to farm Sturgeon in our local rivers and how 5 senior officers were nabbed who were responsible for the losses.

This happened during Isa Samad’s tenure as Chairman of FELDA.

But how about the rest of the mess he left behind….?

Lets start with FWC – Felda Wellness Corp Sdn Bhd, a loss-making bio pharmaceuticals company wholly owned by the statutory body, had been wound up last year.

In less than three years of operation, Felda Wellness has accumulated losses of RM154.76 million, and current liabilities of RM154.03 million as at end FY15. The company’s total assets amounted to RM4.34 million.

The company was eventually wound up by Australia-based Gordagen Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd for debts owed to it by Felda Wellness amounting to RM2.1 million.

And the mess he left behind....

MO1 said he wanted the village boys to go "GLOKAL" - a combination of global and local. 

This is like the other vague slogan, 'creating a Malaysian society in our own mould' - 'membentuk sesuatu masyarakat Malaysia mengikut acuan kita sendiri'.

Until today no one knows what is that 'acuan kita sendiri'.  And neither does anyone know what is the meaning of "glokal".

The net result is that all the village boys "got the hint" that they should become global players. They had to invest overseas. This also meant looking for halal restaurants in London within panting distance of places where Ukrainian girls could be found. It was a very complicated situation.

To make a long story short - it has all gone bust.   They should have just stayed in the plantation. That is where the real money is.- ostb

Mengapa PAS mesra dengan pemimpin korup?...

Bagi saya PAS sedang dalam krisis keyakinan terhadap peranannya dalam siasah politik negara. Ustaz-ustaz dan lebai-lebai PAS selama ini dilatih untuk berhujah menggunakan lojik dan retorik mereka tanpa rasa peduli dan memahami ranah politik demokrasi sekular yang bersimpang siur ini.

Apabila hujah-hujah politik mereka gagal meyakinkan masyarakat, mereka mula merasa terancam. Mereka merasa Islam mereka terancam, akidah mereka terancam dan bangsa mereka terancam.

Bagi saya, perasaan terancam ini bukan kerana politik sekular ingin menelan agama mereka, tetapi kerana ketidakmampuan mereka menawarkan penyelesaian politik dasar kepada satu bangsa yang sedang berkembang daya fikirnya.

Bermakna, ini bukan masalah kelemahan Islam, kelemahan Melayu atau kejahatan orang kafir, sebaliknya ini adalah masalah ketidakmampuan intelek lebai-lebai PAS untuk menghadam perkembangan politik semasa.

Kita melihat bagaimana lebai-lebai PAS ini merasakan dengan gaya Islam PAS, atau dengan slogan Islam PAS, atau imej Islam PAS, maka semua ini akan membolehkan masalah rakyat, masalah pengangkutan awam, pengangguran, Felda, GST atau korupsi dan sebagainya dapat diselesaikan dengan begitu mudah.

Sebagai contoh, suatu waktu dulu kita dapat lihat bagaimana Galileo Galilei membuktikan teori bahawa dunia ini bulat telah dikecam hebat di tengah-tengah hujah paderi gereja yang menyatakan Galileo ini murtad dengan teori beliau itu.

Galileo membuktikan dengan berlayar naik kapal dan mencipta teleskop untuk melihat ruang angkasa. Berbanding hujah paderi-paderi ketika itu hanya dengan bersandarkan ayat-ayat Tuhan tanpa membuat penyelidikan sebagai proses memahami wahyu Tuhan.

Di dunia Islam begitu juga, kita mengetahui bagaimana ramainya tokoh-tokoh ilmuwan Islam meneroka bumi hingga boleh mencipta jalan dan peta dunia seperti Ibnu Batutta. Mereka bukan sekadar menggunakan ayat-ayat Tuhan untuk memahami alam dan berdakwah, sebaliknya turun padang dan mengkaji dan memahami semua itu untuk merungkai masalah dan rahsia alam.

Hari ini, inilah yang sedang berlaku dalam PAS sepertimana yang berlaku di gereja-gereja di zaman gelap (Dark Ages). Mereka enggan turun, lihat, memahami dan berbincang tentang masalah rakyat, masalah korupsi, GST dsb sebagai menyahut seruan ayat-ayat Tuhan untuk turun mendampingi masalah rakyat.

Sebaliknya, lebai-lebai PAS ini seronok beretorik dengan bermain dengan ayat-ayat Tuhan untuk membuktikan mereka ada penyelesaian yang sangat mudah. Ayat-ayat Tuhan juga digunakan untuk menutup ketidakyakinan mereka pada diri mereka pada masa yang sama, dapat membendung kritikan rakyat kepada mereka. PAS menolak untuk mengakui kelemahan mereka, sebaliknya menyalahkan bangsa dan orang lain.

Talian Hayat

Atas ketidakyakinan inilah, mereka memerlukan talian hayat untuk dilihat relevan dalam siasah politik negara. Umno hari ini satu-satunya parti yang sangat berkuasa dengan dana yang tidak kering, tetapi ironinya mereka berada dalam kedudukan yang paling lemah atas faktor kepimpinannya. Ini membolehkan PAS bekerjasama untuk memastikan kelangsungan survival politik kedua mereka.

Umno ini parti yang dianggotai oleh majoriti Melayu dan Islam (kelas pemuja Najib), majoriti ahli PAS juga Melayu dan Islam (kelas pemuja Haji Hadi), mereka berkongsi kek yang sama. Syarat untuk kerjasama ini saling melengkapi. Kerana itulah hari ini, PAS juga sudah pandai pakai tengkolok dan keris. Bukan sebab PAS sudah ada kesedaran terhadap budaya pun, mereka masih mengharamkan wayang kulit dan tarian.

Kita boleh melihat mengapa lebai PAS merasakan tidak ada keperluan untuk menukar Umno dan Najib walaupun mereka tahu, Umno ini sudah sakit tenat dengan korupsi. Mengapa? Kerana mereka tahu, Najib memerlukan kepakaran mereka menggunakan hujah agama dan ayat-ayat Tuhan bagi menstabilkan imej Najib dimata rakyat, Melayu Islam.

Kita dapat lihat lagi apabila PAS mahu bertanding di semua kerusi pilihanraya, tetapi pada masa yang sama mereka sanggup kalah di semua kerusi asalkan Umno menang maka mereka boleh menjadi penasihat Umno dan meneruskan ceramah agama mereka.

Apakah maksud menjadi penasihat Umno atau Kerajaan Umno BN?

Sungguh pun PAS menamakan ini sebagai politik matang dan sejahtera, hakikatnya ini bermaksud politik carma (cari makan). Semua ini adalah survival politik kuasa PAS dan Umno Najib.

Ia tiada kena mengena dengan survival rakyat yang sedang sakit membengkak akibat kecuaian pentadbiran Umno BN. Ini juga tiada kena mengena dengan ancaman Evengalis kristian, ancaman DAP atau Yahudi.

Pasai apa tak hantaq nota protes kat kedutaan US...

There has been no protest note from Malaysia to the US Department of Justice (DOJ) despite numerous cabinet minister’s claim that the DOJ’s 1MDB-linked civil forfeiture suit was a form of interference.

A US embassy spokesperson told Malaysiakini confirmed that no correspondence from Putrajaya has been received following the DOJ’s last court filing last Thursday to seize more 1MDB-linked properties valued at US1.7 billion.

Kedutaan Amerika Syarikat di Kuala Lumpur membuat kenyataan bahawa sehingga kini tidak ada sebarang bantahan rasmi daripada Kerajaan Malaysia telah diterima oleh Jabatan Penghakiman Amerika Syarikat atau US Department of Justice (DOJ) berkenaan kes penyelewengan wang berbilion Dolar Amerika dari syarikat 1MDB. 

Maksudnya segala tuduhan dan tohmahan bahawa US DOJ berkonspirasi untuk jatuhkan MO1 hanya "bising tin kosong" sahaja oleh pemimpin UMNO yang tidak tahu bagaimana lagi hendak menjawab hujah yang begitu terperinci dan kenyataan rasmi US DOJ itu.

Mereka sudah mati akal. Maka keluarlah kenyataan media yang menunjukkan pemikiran kebudak-budakan yang 'immature' atau kurang matang.

Dua tahun sudah berlalu sejak MO1 "mengancam" untuk saman Wall Street Journal. Kertas dan dokumen dalam fail peguam beliau pun sudah jadi kuning. Tak lama lagi kerusi meja pejabat peguam beliau pun mungkin dimakan anai-anai. Tetapi masih belum saman Wall Street Journal lagi.

Sekarang timbul pula tuduhan konspirasi terhadap Jabatan Penghakiman Amerika Syarikat.   

Sebagai Kerajaan sesebuah negara yang merdeka dan bermartabat dalam dunia, Kerajaan pimpinan MO1 mempunyai beberapa saluran yang sah dan rasmi untuk menangani 'konspirasi' oleh Jabatan Penghakiman Amerika Syarikat (US DOJ).

1. Pertama Kementerian Luar Negara (Anifah Aman) boleh memanggil Duta Amerika datang menghadapnya untuk memberi penjelasan dan juga diberi teguran oleh Kerajaan Malaysia.  Ini pun masih belum di buat.

2. Pejabat Perdana Menteri boleh membantah secara rasmi kepada Jabatan Luar Amerika Syarikat (US State Dept) atau terus kepada US DOJ.  Sepertimana boleh disangka, Jabatan Perdana Menteri terlalu takut untuk membuat apa jenis bantahan pun.

3. Untuk membantah konspirasi US DOJ untuk jatuhkan MOI, Malaysia boleh putuskan hubungan diplomatik dengan Amerika Syarikat.  Tetapi ini pun tidak akan dibuat oleh kerajaan MOI.

4.  Kerajaan MOI boleh menghantar wakil Pejabat Peguam Negara untuk menghadiri dan mencampuri (intervenor) kes sivil US DOJ di mahkamah di Los Angeles, California.  Tetapi ini pun tidak akan dibuat oleh Kerajaan MO1.

5. Menteri B dan M boleh kumpulkan rakan-rakan yang berekor untuk membantah di depan kedutaan Amerika Syarikat,  contohnya selepas sembahyang Jumaat akan datang. Tetapi ini pun tidak akan dibuat oleh Menteri B dan M. 

Jabatan Penghakiman Amerika Syarikat (US DOJ) mempunyai senjata yang sangat besar dan berkuasa  yang sangat menakutkan MO1 dan gerombolannya.  Senjata itu adalah warrant tangkap atau warrant of arrest bagi MO1, isteri dan anak tiri MO1.  

Percayalah, Warrant of Arrest ini 100% pasti akan menjadi bila kes 1MDB dimajukan lagi mengikut proses penghakiman Amerika Syarikat - ia itu secara slow tetapi sangat steady.

Dan sebelum warrant of arrest dikeluarkan, MO1 serta isteri MO1  sudah tidak boleh melawat atau menjelajah ke mana-mana negara luar lagi, walaupun mewakili negara secara rasmi.

MOI dan isterinya bakal menjadi pemimpin kerajaan yang pertama ditangkap oleh FBI atau mana-mana jabatan polis negara lain yang bekerjasama dengan US DOJ. 

Ianya sudah tentu akan menjadi satu peristiwa yang sangat memalukan sejak orang Melayu mula bertamaddun dan berkerajaan.  Tetapi ia tetap akan berlaku. - ostb

MACC to question Isa and wife
What about the IGP?...

Former Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) chairman Tan Sri Isa Samad and his wife have been called by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to have their statements recorded. Sources told the New Straits Times that the commission has summoned the couple to its headquarters in Putrajaya tomorrow at 10am.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak announced that Isa had voluntarily relinquished his post as FGV’s chairman, and appointed Tan Sri Sulaiman Mahbob as acting chairman. FGV is currently being investigated by MACC for possible misconduct and abuse of power following a boardroom tussle between Isa and suspended chief executive officer Datuk Zakaria Arshad.

On June 9, the NST reported that one of MACC’s focus areas was on alleged power abuse by a top official who had allowed FGV to pay for his wife’s travels on first-class flights although she is not entitled to such benefits. Sources said this was among the details included in the documents that had been seized by the MACC earlier this month from the FGV headquarters at Menara Felda.

Doraemon was already caught and suspended by UMNO once for involvement in money politics. 

He has never denied that his wife did travel on first class at the expense of FGV.  

I think Malaysians are not surprised at all with this news.

What will be surprising is if MACC pushes this case for prosecution at all.  That will be surprising.  This is Big Fish.

Pakatan is testing the water 

for Mahathir’s interim premiership...

In politics, nothing happens by chance. The recent comments by two leaders of DAP is a case in point.

First Zaid, the ex-minister for law in the BN government and now an important voice in DAP, suggested that Mahathir Mohammed should be prime minister. 

Then Lim Kit Siang, the elder statesman of the party, lauds Mahathir for “making Malaysians proud”. He conveniently brushed aside Mahathir’s sins with the one line that he has not forgotten about the wrongs done by the ex- prime minister. It may be that he has not forgotten, but it certainly seems that Kit Siang has forgiven Mahathir. Not millions of Malaysians, I don’t think. 

There was no murmur of objection from Amanah. And although some PKR members picketed for Anwar Ibrahim to be prime minister, leaders of the party were strangely quiet, or at least did not make a fuss about the call for Mahathir to be prime minister. 

There were even suggestions that Mahathir could be the “interim prime minister”.  A compromise? Perhaps,  a move to hold the opposition coalition together? Maybe a face-saver for Anwar who has been all but forgotten in the quest for power? Looks like it. 

All this is too much of a coincidence – as they say, “no smoke without fire”.

Mahathir is soiled goods

Both Zaid and Kit Siang are flying kites – testing the political wind (see what the public reaction is); preparing the public for the time when Pakatan Harapan announces Mahathir as the “interim prime minister” should they win GE14. This is a bad idea!

Mahathir is damaged goods the public will not buy, even if Zaid thinks otherwise. He has has cost the nation too much.  His gambles and ego projects – Cornering the tin market, Forex dealings, Proton and Petronas Twin Tower. He caused irreparable damage to our judiciary; entrenched institutional racism in the country and started the slide in our educational standards. He cannot be trusted to run the country again – not even for a day. 

Defination of "interim" 

How long is “interim”? Does it mean Mahathir becomes prime minister until Anwar can take office? Or until someone suitable is ready to take over? When will that be?

One way for Anwar to take office is if he is given a pardon by the King. And for that to happen the prime minister must recommend it. Will P.M. Mahathir do that? Very unlikely! It was Mahathir who put Anwar in jail the first time. It was Mahathir who thought Anwar was unfit to be prime minister. Has he changed his mind? That Anwar was innocent in the first place; and Anwar is fit to be prime minister. That he, Mahathir, was wrong?

My guess is that the length of Mahathir’s “interim prime ministership” will be until his son is ready to take over – that’s how long ‘interim” is. 

Once Mahathir has his feet under the desk, it will be almost impossible to shift him. As prime minister he calls the shots. In Westminster tradition, the cabinet is his – he does the hiring and firing. And if he fixed Anwar, what makes you think he will not fix anyone who dares challenge him? 

Pakatan Harapan leaders may think that Mahathir is an asset to the Opposition; but many think he is a liability. Already we have seen members of DAP resign from the party on their leaders’ volte-face concerning the ex-prime minister.

Mahathir's overrated drawing power

Many voters feel likewise – you can’t for decades curse the man and suddenly embrace him like a long lost brother, it reeks of desperation.  Are we so bankrupt of talent that we have to accept “soiled goods”? What little remains of the drawing power of Mahathir among the Malays is overrated. The truth is the Opposition does not need Mahathir to win GE14, Najib is doing a good job to win it for the Opposition.  

But if he wants to contribute let him do so without giving him the reins of power – even on an “interim” basis. 

Mahathir is the best political operator this country has ever produced – bar none! This he would have demonstrated again if his partners in Pakatan Harapan accept him as “interim prime minister”. 

I don’t think Malaysians will, even when Anwar Ibrahim has declared that he will not accept to be the next prime minister. 

If it’s anyone but Najib/UMNO, then double that for Mahathir. - Mariam Mokhtar

Tindakan saman sivil oleh Jabatan Kehakiman (DoJ) Amerika Syarikat (AS) ke atas 1MDB bukan campur tangan asing sebaliknya hasil siasatan yang dilakukan terhadap jenayah kolar putih melibatkan perbelanjaan mewah hasil penyelewengan dana syarikat tersebut yang dilakukan di negara itu.

Justeru, dakwaan menteri UMNO, Datuk Seri Salleh Keruak dalam blognya semalam menuduh kononnya tindakan DoJ sebagai campur tangan asing adalah tidak cerdik dan tidak masuk akal.

“Apa yang dilakukan DoJ di atas aduan yang dibuat di AS dimana ianya ada unsur jenayah kolar putih melibatkan kepentingan rakyat Malaysia dan aset-aset yang berada di AS.

“Ianya jelas satu penipuan terancang di peringkat antarabangsa. Takkan fakta ini pun nak di selewengkan?” soal Ketua Pembangkang Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Pahang, Tengku Zulpuri Shah bin Raja Puji kepada Roketkini.

Dalam saman sivil terbaru Khamis lalu, DoJ mula bertindak untuk merampas sebanyak AS$540 juta (RM2.3 bilion) yang dipercayai diperolehi daripada wang yang dicuri daripada dana pelaburan negara 1MDB.

Pendedahan terbaru itu menjadikan jumlah terkumpul wang yang diselewengkan meningkat kepada AS$4.5 bilion berbanding AS$3 bilion sebelum ini.

Tengku Zulpuri yang juga Adun Mentakab itu berkata, tindakan DoJ itu bukanlah sesuatu yang sukar difahami dan Salleh tidak perlu memutarbelitkan fakta.

Apa yang menyedihkan, kehilangan puluhan billion wang negara itu kata beliau seolah-olah tidak menjadi isu kepada pihak berkuasa negara ini.

Malah katanya, tindakan Peguam Negara Tan Sri Apandi Ali menyatakan “Kami mendapati bahawa tidak ada jenayah dilakukan” dan tidak ada yang baru ditemui adalah amat menyedihkan rakyat negara ini.

“Kes ini melibatkan kepentingan dan wang negara. Kalau tiada agensi kerajaan Malaysia yang berani siasat kes 1MDB dengan telus, siapa lagi?” kata Ahli jawatankuasa DAP Pahang itu.

Beliau juga mencadangkan supaya kerajaan Malaysia bertindak menyaman DoJ sekiranya dakwaan mereka mempunyai unsur fitnah,” katanya lagi. -Roketkini.com

Siap dgn tarikh , jumlah wang dan barang apa yg dibeli dan kepada siapa diberi, siap ada tanda tangan pada 15/6/17. 

Kalau Apandi, Najib dan Rosmah kata ia adalah fitnah, senang ja, ambil surat setebal 251 halaman ini dakwa balik di mahkamah, tunjukkan dan buktikan kamu ni difitnah. 

Tetapi kamu hanya menafi dgn mulut. Ini tak boleh diterima pakai.

Jadi keluarkan kenyataan dan bandingkan dgn tarikh urusan dalam laporan DOJ, 

Kalau ia tiada dalam penyata bank jolo dan najib dan 1mdb.  Maka ia adalah tuduhan palsu, najib pula boleh saman DOJ dgn berbilion bilion kerana tanggung malu, cemar reputasi.

Tidak pernah terjadi kepada mana mana PM malaysia peristiwa yg amat memalukan ini.

Proses mahkamah harus dijalankan kepada najib dan rosmah atas dakwaan ini, 

Inilah peluang kepada najib dan rosmah tunjuk dan buktikan bahawa mereka benar benar difitnah. 

Ini apa punya undang undang , menafi dgn mulut dan tutup kes. Buat senyap, buat bodoh. 

Adakah rakyat malaysia bodoh sampai tahap macam tu, percaya bahawa najib difitnah ?

The GST is killing the economy. Book shop sales are down, down, down. Bookshops are not only not paying their suppliers but to avoid hutang they are sending back to the suppliers any unsold books. So stock levels are decreasing.

At the Bazaar Ramadans this year, business is really bad. Even with more than one week of puasa left, many stalls at the Bazaar Ramadans have closed shop. Not enough business.

In the meantime, the GLC banks that are controlled by the kleptocrat class are beginning to get hit by all the corruption in the country.

One bank (directly owned by the gomen) gave an RM450 loan to Pink Diamond's friend to set up a broadcasting network. The money is gone. The loan has turned bad.  The gomen bank must now recognise RM450 million loss.

Another two GLC owned banks gave RM1.7 Billion loan to a "marine" company, again owned by the kleptocrats. The loan has gone bad. RM1.7 billion has to be recorded as losses.

That is RM2.15 BILLION LOSSES just among THREE banks.

These losses will be borne by the taxpayers - you and me.

The kleptocracy is short of funds. They want to expand the GST to cover fish, sayur and other pasar stuff.

'Laughable Mr.Apandi...

Attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali's reaction to the latest US Department of Justice (DOJ) allegations on the misappropriation of 1MDB funds was "laughable", said Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

In his first blog post since the DOJ's latest court filing last Thursday, the former premier said Apandi's "frustration" that Malaysia was not consulted by their US counterparts was a mystery because Malaysia's prosecutors never cooperated with Swiss investigators.

"But the AG is not known for cooperating on 1MDB investigations with foreign counterparts. The Swiss attorney-general has said this clearly.

"He stated 'despite repeatedly saying it (the Malaysian AG's Chambers) will cooperate with any foreign agencies investigating the 1MDB scandal, (it) refused to reply to the Swiss attorney-general office request for detailed information on the issue'," wrote Mahathir. - mk

'Kari' Jabatan Kehakiman Amerika (DOJ) semakin pedas. Kita sudah dengar macam mana dalam saman sivilnya yang kedua ia menceritakan perihal berlian, permata, emas suasa AS$27 juta (kira-kira RM122 juta) milik isteri Malaysian Official 1 (MO1).

Dan bagaimana sahabat akrab keluarga perdana menteri, Jho Low menghadiahkan emas permata bernilai hampir AS$10 juta (kira-kira RM45 juta) kepada bintang filem dan model Miranda Kerr daripada duit 1MDB.

Itu DOJ yang kata. Jadi kalau nak kerah peguam pantau dan saman, sasarannya bukanlah penggiat media sosial tetapi DOJ. Carilah salah DOJ dan samanlah sepuas-puas hati. Orang putih kata, to the heart’s content.

Cuma jangan jadi macam omong kosong "saman Selasa" Perdana Menteri  Datuk Seri  Mohd Najib Abdul Razak yang ancam nak saman Wall Street Journal pada Selasa 7 Julai 2015.

Tak puas hati lawanlah DOJ

Berbalik kepada saman sivil 'kari' (Kleptocracy Asset Recovery Initiative/Inisiatif Dapatkan Balik Aset Yang dicuri Kerajaan) kedua oleh DOJ pada 15 Jun di Amerika, tujuannya ialah mendapatkan balik AS$540 juta (RM2.43 bilion) yang dicuri daripada 1MDB.

Antara harta yang dimohon untuk dirampas adalah permata merah jambu (pink diamond) 22 karat yang didakwa dibeli dengan duit songlap 1MDB dan gambar yang dihadiahkan kepada pelakon Hollywood Leonardo DiCaprio.

Senarai lengkap harta curi Jho Low dan konco-konconya adalah seperti berikut: 

1.Kapal mewah “The Equanimity” kegunaan Jho Low;

2. Sejumlah 2.5 saham (D Preferred Stock) syarikat Palantir Technologies, sebuah syarikat perisian komputer.

3.Semua hak milik dan kepentingan di dalam Electrum Group, syarikat pengurusan pelaburan;

4.Hak ke atas filem "Dumb and Dumber" terbitan by Red Granite Pictures (milik bersama Riza Abdul Aziz, anak Rosmah dengar suami pertama);

5.Hak ke atas filem "Daddy's Home" terbitan Red Granite Pictures;

6.Poster litograf oleh pelukis Jerman Heinz Schulz-Neudamm untuk filem bisu (silent film) "Metropolis" tahun 1927;

7.Semua hak ke atas Fly Wheel Sports, rangkaian kelab kesihatan;

8.Sebutir permata 11.72 karat berbentuk jantung;

9.Sebiji loket permata 8.88 karat berwarna merah jambu dipagari oleh permata merah jambu terang 11 karat;

10.Satu set perhiasan mengandungi sebentuk cincin emas bertatah permata putih 18 karat, rantai, subang permata dan gelang bertatah permata;

11.Sepasang subang permata dan sebentuk cincin permata dengan 7.53 karat permata jenis 2A, 3.05 karat permata jenis 2A dan 3.08 karat permata jenis 2A;

Kalau ini cerita rekaan atau fitnah seperti kata konco-konco dedak Perdana Menteri masakan DOJ begitu teliti dan terperinci menyenaraikan barang-barang yang dibeli dengan duit curi itu?

Mereka ada bukan setakat empat saksi tetapi berpuluh malah beratus saksi. Ini bukan cerita standard Peguam Negara (Tan Sri) Mohamed Apandi Ali. Ini penyiasatan dan pertuduhan standard Amerika ke atas jenayah berlaku di bumi Amerika di mana mengalihkan wang haram (termasuk wang negara yang dicuri) adalah kesalahan berat.

DOJ mempunyai maklumat yang begitu terperinci sehingga ia tahu bila dan di mana isteri MO1 membeli belah pertama berlian di New York pada tahun 2013 ketika perdana menteri menghadiri Persidangan Agung Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu.

Konco-konco Najib dalam kerajaan dan para pemakan dedak siber beliau tak perlulah cuba buat alasan itu dan ini termasuk kononnya DOJ tak maklumkan kepada mereka.

Buat apa DOJ nak maklumkan. Itu hak mereka dan saman itu dibuat di negara mereka. Kalau bagi tahu atau minta tolong pun belum tentu Apandi akan bantu macam berlaku kepada Peguam Negara Switzerland, Michael Lauber. Permintaannya tidak dilayan.

Kenyataan Anwar Ibrahim

Jadi biar kita tinggal pasangan mewah itu sementara dan bincang mengenai satu lagi perkembangan penting iaitu penarikan diri (Datuk Seri) Anwar Ibrahim sebagai calon Perdana Menteri pakatan pembangkang.

Pada 17 Jun, Anwar mengumumkan yang beliau menarik diri sebagai calon Perdana Menteri Pakatan Harapan (PH) dan sebaliknya akan menumpukan perhatian sepenuhnya kepada Pilihan Raya Umum (PRU).

"Dan terkait dengan gesaan untuk menumpukan perhatian sepenuhnya kepada PRU, maka saya memilih untuk tidak menawarkan diri selaku calon Perdana Menteri," kata beliau dalam satu kenyataan.

Keputusan Ketua Umum Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) itu adalah langkah penting dalam proses membentuk kesepakatan di kalangan parti-parti pembangkang pusat iaitu PKR, Amanah, Parti Peribumi Bersatu Malaysia dan DAP.

Tindakan baik hati (magnanimous) bekas Timbalan Perdana Menteri era Tun Dr Mahthir itu membuka jalan kepada penyelesaian isu struktur kepemimpinan Pakatan Harapan dan mencerahkan harapan mendaftarkan PH sebagai pakatan rasmi sebelum PRU akan datang.

Bukan mudah membina konsensus di kalangan parti-parti PH kerana kesemua parti anggota berunding atas dasar sama rata, tidak seperti Barisan Nasional (BN) di mana Umno memaksakan hegemoninya ke atas parti-parti yang lain.

How US-DOJ Links Auntie Rosie 

To A $27-Million Pink Diamond...

Now we know why U.S. President Donald Trump has been avoiding Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak like a plague. Now we also know where the US$620 million had ended up after Najib administration falsely claimed it had been returned to donor Saudi royal family. More importantly, we know why bloggers under Najib’s payroll are going bananas now.

The 1MDB scandal, essentially a money laundering or a “PONZI” scheme, was so sophisticated and complex that when the U.S. Department of Justice released its latest investigation papers Thursday, the documents were as thick as 251-page. That speaks volumes about the difference between the US-DOJ and Malaysian Attorney General Chambers.

Last year (July 20, 2016), when then-U.S. Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch announced that the Justice Department filed lawsuits to seize assets that it said were the result of US$3.5 billion that was misappropriated from 1MDB (1Malaysia Development Bhd), a fund set up by Najib Razak himself in 2009, it pretty much confirmed that money was stolen from 1MDB.

Back then, Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak, the No.1 bootlicker of PM Najib and his wife, Rosmah, went ballistic. Mr. Salleh took it that because then-President Barack Obama had golfed with his boss, Obama should have stopped the US-DOJ from investigating his golf buddy, because that’s what a corrupt Najib regime would normally do.

This round, the same Salleh Said Keruak, both clueless and panicked, has again gone bonkers. He blamed the opposition – of treason – for allegedly seeking foreign intervention in the Malaysia politics. Did he just say the opposition is more powerful than PM Najib son of Razak, so much so that badass Donald Trump is now a puppet of Mahathir or Lim Kit Siang?

As stupid as Mr. Salleh and his band of paid-bloggers might sound in their defence (and criticism) against the US-DOJ’s latest bombshell, it’s getting tougher to spin and twist about PM Najib’s innocence. Not only US-DOJ continues to link “MALAYSIAN OFFICIAL 1“, popularly known as MO1, to money laundering, the latest documents has also revealed more crooked “OFFICER”.

But what has really irritated bootlicker Salleh Said Keruak was the revelation by Justice Department that the “wife of MALAYSIAN OFFICIAL 1” had purchased a 22-carat pink diamond necklace using money siphoned from 1MDB. Apparently, Jho Low (fullname: Low Taek Jho), being mentioned 911 times in the document, had done all the heavy lifting in the purchase arrangement.

It’s a public knowledge that MO1 refers to PM Najib Razak, simply because the US-DOJ also referred this individual to be a relative of Riza Shahriz, who happens to be Najib’s stepson. Therefore, an educated guess is MO1’s wife is “highly likely” Rosmah Mansor – wife of Najib Razak. Coincidently, Rosmah has gone bananas and threatened social media users with lawsuits if link her to the pink diamond.

The 22-carat pink diamond, described as “22.17carat Natural Fancy Intense Pink VS2 clarity (GIA#2115637296) Cut-Cornered Square Modified Brilliant Cut diamond,” was invoiced on 3 July, 2013 for a jaw-dropping US$23,000,000. The second invoice, dated July 31, 2013, was for US$4,300,000 for the accompanying necklace. Hence, the total cost was US$27,300,000.

Auntie Rosie, of course, didn’t have to worry about the dollar and cent because the US$27.3 million for the pink diamond was paid on 10 September, 2013 using funds traceable to the US$620 million payment from MO1 to Tanore. Ahh, so now we know why Mr. Najib had returned the US$620 million from the initial US$681 million – “donated by Saudi royal family”.

Najib didn’t return the US$620 million to his self-proclaimed Saudi royal family because the money was unused. He returned it because he needed to siphon it to somewhere else, as instructed by Jho Low. Upon Auntie Rosie’s request, Jho Low had arranged for jewellery designer Lorraine Schwartz to scout for a pink diamond on June 2, 2013.

UMNO, Najib’s political party, has been extremely critical of Israel and Jews. Perhaps the Prime Minister should remind his wife that Lorraine Schwartz is also known as “Jewish Queen of Oscar Bling”. Anyway, Schwartz travelled to Monaco on July 5, 2013 and met Jho Low aboard the Topaz, one of the largest private yachts in the world built at a cost of €400 million.

Jho Low had chartered the 147-meter yacht for 7 days at a cost of €3.5 million, which, of course was paid using money siphoned away from 1MDB. Aboard the Topaz, US-DOJ reveals how Schwartz showed the pink diamond to a group of people – Jho Low, the wife of “MALAYSIAN OFFICIAL 1”, and one of her friends (“Malaysian Friend”). 

The group happily discussed the design of the necklace to hold the 22-carat pink diamond. On 28 September, 2013, Schwartz met again with Jho Low and the wife of MO1 in a hotel suite in the Mandarin Time Warner in New York in order to show them the layout of the necklace that Schwartz had designed.

Schwartz was asked to invoice Blackrock Commodities (Global) Limited (“Blackrock”). On September 9, 2013, just days after Najib proudly told all and sundry that he had returned US$620 million to its original donor (a Tanore Account), US$58,849,050 was wired from the same Tanore Account to another account at Falcon Bank in Singapore held in the name of Midhurst Trading Limited (“Midhurst Trading Account”).

The following day on 10 September, 2013, Midhurst transferred US$32,760,000 to an account at DBS Bank Ltd. in Singapore held by Blackrock (the “Blackrock Account”). On the same day, Blackrock made two separate wire transfers to a bank account at Bank of America in New York held by Lorraine Schwartz Inc. in payment for the 22-carat pink diamond necklace.

Investigations done by US-DOJ have revealed that “Blackrock Account” was used to do nothing but to pay for jewellery purchases for Jho Low and their associates, including Auntie Rosie. Between April 2013 and September 2014, the account was used to purchase a total of approximately US$200 million in jewellery, again, using funds traceable to the 2013 bonds and the 2014 Deutsche Bank loans.

The modus operandi was to transfer stolen money from Jho Low-controlled entities – such as Affinity Equity, Tanore, and Midhurst (refer chart above) – to the Blackrock Account whenever there was a need to purchase jewellery. Perhaps that explains the name Blackrock – gems or rock bought with black money obtained illegally. It’s very kind of Jho Low putting some thought on his piggybank’s name.

A 22-carat pink diamond, however, wasn’t the only rock which Auntie Rosie had gotten to decorate her neck. Why stop at only 1 diamond when she can get more gems for free. Auntie Rosie continued her shopping spree and by October, 2104, US$1,300,000 in funds traceable to misappropriated Deutsche Bank loan proceeds were used to purchase 27 jewelleries.

This round, the purchase included 27 different 18-carat gold necklaces and bracelets. The US-DOJ documents showed Jho Low had once again arranged for the purchase and payment of the jewelleries on behalf of the wife of MALAYSIAN OFFICIAL 1. Again, Lorraine Schwartz made her killings with the spendthrift Auntie Rosie.

Unlike the previous appointment aboard the Topaz yacht, Lorraine Schwartz met and had dinner with Auntie Rosie at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles this time, before showing off her jewelleries to the wife of PM Najib Razak. The 27 pieces of jewelleries, all 18K – white gold, yellow gold, rose gold, black gold – of bangles or necklaces, were priced from US$40,172 to US$240,000 a pop.

The next time you see “Malay Queen of Shopping” Auntie Rosie wearing some bling-blings around her neck or wrist, chances are she got them from “Jewish Queen of Oscar Bling” Lorraine Schwartz, courtesy of money stolen from 1MDB, which happens to be taxpayers’ money, mind you. With the investigation papers made public by US-DOJ, we believe it has helped solve another mystery.

Six years ago in 2011, Malaysians were foaming at the mouth with an explosive revelation that Rosmah had purchased a RM24 million diamond ring. At first, Auntie Rosie kept silent, then she said no comment, then her dumb aide and supporters said she could actually afford it because the so-called First Lady had been saving from young.

Now, we know the prime minister’s wife had lied about saving from young. Sure, she probably didn’t manage to buy the RM24 million diamond ring from American jeweller Jacob and Co. because of tremendous public pressure. But if she wanted to, Auntie Rosie could have it because by 2011, Jho Low had already plundered at least US$700 million to Good Star Limited.

Between 2009 and 2011, Jho Low had siphoned US$1.03 billion to his vehicle Good Star, and thereafter transferred at least US$368 million to Shearman IOLA Account (between Oct, 2009 and Oct, 2010). Stolen money transferred to Shearman IOLA Account was used to fund the luxurious lifestyles enjoyed by Jho Low and his associates.

Yes, if Malaysians had gone bonkers at the sight of Auntie Rosie wearing a RM24 million diamond ring, wait till they see a bling-bling 22-carat pink diamond necklace costing a jaw-dropping US$27.3 million (RM117 million) around her neck.
