Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang Lim Guan Eng hari ini mengeluh dengan kualiti kereta yang disewanya daripada Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Kuala Lumpur untuk ke istana.

Keluhan di Twitter itu turut disertakan dengan tiga keping Proton Perdana hitam dalam keadaan tidak sempurna yang dimuat naik bersama.

“Semua pemilik Proton sila periksa pintu kereta anda.

“Kereta eksekutif Proton yang disewa oleh kerajaan Pulau Pinang ada masalah pintu.

"Pintu kereta rasmi JKR KL saya di bahagian penumpang belakang tidak boleh ditutup.

“Terpaksa pegang dengan tangan,” tulisnya di Twitter. 

Gambar itu juga memaparkan pintu itu terpaksa diletak dengan pita pelekat buat sementara waktu bagi mengelakkan terbuka ketika perjalanan.

Dalam tweet berikutnya, Lim mengeluh kerana terpaksa hadir ke istana dengan kenderaan sebegitu.

“Harap dapat kereta JKR lebih selamat pada masa akan datang,” katanya.

Beliau dijadual hadir ke Mesyuarat Majlis Raja-Raja ke-245 di Istana Negara hari ini yang dipengerusikan oleh Sultan Perak Sultan Nazrin Shah.

Sementara itu, bercakap kepada Malaysiakini, Lim menjelaskan beliau menyewa kereta itu RM200 sehari dan menggunakannya untuk perjalanan dari lapangan terbang Subang ke Istana Negara di Kuala Lumpur.

Katanya, beliau boleh menyewa kereta daripada pihak swasta tetapi mahu “menyokong kerajaan pusat”.

“Ini lawak jenaka! Saya terpaksa berpaut kuat, saya takut tercampak keluar pintu,” katanya sambil mengaku “malu” masuk ke istana dengan kenderaan sebegitu.

Beliau justeru menggesa JKR mengaudit terlebih dahulu kenderaannya sebelum menyewakan kepada orang awam.

Lim bagaimanapun beliau hari ini sampai ke istana dengan selamat.

JKR juga, katanya, telah menggantikan kereta itu dengan kenderaan baru.

Dua ungkapan kata terhebat yang pernah dilafazkan oleh Redzuan Hamid, Ketua UMNO Bahagian Kepong sebelum isterinya, Dr. Madinah Mohamad dilantik sebagai Ketua Audit Negara yang baru menggantikan Ambrin Buang.

Dr. Madinah dilantik sebagai Ketua Audit Negara yang baru untuk tempoh dua tahun mulai 23 Februari 2017 hingga 22 Februari 2019.

Pertama, Encik Somi (suami) melafazkan kata-kata bahawa beliau sanggup mati demi untuk mempertahankan kedudukan Najib Razak selaku Presiden UMNO dan Perdana Menteri.

Saya berani mati untuk Najib. Jangan sentuh Najib. Kalau mati, kami mahu mati bersama Najib, demikian antara kata-kata Redzuan ketika berucap di Mesyuarat UMNO Bahagian Kepong, tahun lalu.

Kedua, Encik Somi juga mengatakan derma RM2.6 bilion yang diterima Najib melalui akaun peribadinya adalah kerana "pemberi derma" kagum dengan kelantangan Perdana Menteri melawan Yahudi.

Woww...agaknya Encik Somi terlupa atau buat-buat lupa dengan nama syarikat seperti Apco dan Goldman Sachs.

Apakah kerana kehebatan Encik Somi dalam berkata-kata itu, isterinya yang bukan berlatarbelakangkan pendidikan perakaunan/audit pun akhirnya boleh dilantik sebagai Ketua Audit Negara?

Mungkin kita tidak mempertikaikan kemampuan Madinah atas kapasiti penjawat awam dengan tugas terakhirnya sebagai Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Pendidikan sebelum ini, tetapi apakah beliau mampu menganalisa angka-angka secara berkesan dengan tugas barunya nanti?

Ostb :  Folks, never agree to do anything for any stranger at any airport. 

1. Never agree to "pinjam" your baggage check in or "carry on" baggage for any stranger. Never.  

2. Never stop for any stranger who asks you where you are going.  

3. Notice that at all airports around the world, only people wearing uniforms  ask for your passport. This will include Immigration, Police (or Army) and the airline staff behind the counter. Never respond to any person NOT wearing a uniform who asks to see your passport. 

This Kim Jong Nam assassination (obviously by North Korea)  is proof again  that fraternising with psycho countries will end up with you getting bitten in your backside. 

Ok we allow a North Korean embassy here in KL but the UMNO boys invite the North Koreans to the UMNO Assembly.  Now we read that there are so many North Koreans who are living and working here in Malaysia.  

North Koreans are not allowed to travel outside their country. Period.

The only North Koreans who are allowed to travel outside are on some government related matter. In other words they must be spies, intelligence operatives and such.  Why did we allow all these people inside the country? 

As I "guessed" in my earlier post about this,  the real assassins have already left the country. That would most likely be those four North Korean characters in the picture above.

The naive Viet and Indon girls were part of a clever ploy to be involved in the assassination.  The fact that the Indon girl was "hired" earlier to play a part on a 'prank TV show' indicates that this murder was planned ahead. Meaning they also knew their victim's travel itinerary. This is my guess.

There is a lot of buzz that China (with the agreement of Russia and the US) are planning to "remove" Kim Jong Un from power, possibly this year.  I believe the Chinese can do it. Not only does the guy have an ugly hair cut but he is really losing it.  South Korean intelligence feels that he suffers dementia (that the guy is mad).

So you cannot blame "bad hair cut's" paranoia. And China's candidate to replace him in power was Kim Jong Nam. So they took him out at the KLIA.  

My conclusion is Britain is coming down hard on some jihadi psychos (all Salafi / Wahhabi) who  hang around in Britain.  That Anjam Choudhury has been sent to jail. The Brits are possibly deporting or taking action against a bunch of other Salafis who live in Britain.

Soon, these Salafis / Wahhabis will be running away, looking for new countries to host them.  Please dont let them into Malaysia. Pleeeeeeeease.

Eksekutif wanita mati ditembak di Penang...

Seorang pemandu wanita berusia 49 tahun ditembak mati di Bayan Lepas, hari ini. 

Dalam kejadian 5.45 petang, mangsa seorang eksekutif di sebuah syarikat logistik sedang memandu di sepanjang Jalan Pekaka 1 ke Jalan Bukit Gambir apabila 2 lelaki bermotosikal mendekati bahagian bahagian pemandu kereta BMW yang dibawanya dan melepaskan 10 das tembakan. 

Ketua Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Pulau Pinang SAC Zainol Samah berkata, wanita itu kemudian merempuh bahagian belakang sebuah Land Rover yang dipandu seorang lelaki berusia 30-an. 

Rempuhan itu menyebabkan pacuan 4 roda itu bergerak beberapa meter sehingga menghampiri Lintang Pekaka 9.

Dalam rakaman video yang berjaya dirakam pengguna jalan raya lain, roda belakang dilihat berputar laju, menunjukkan kemungkinan wanita itu masih menekan pedal minyak walaupun keretanya sudah berhenti. 

Zainol berkata mangsa ditembah sebanyak 6 das di dada dan seluruh tubuhnya, manakala 4 tembakan lain tidak mengena. 

“Dia tidak terlibat dalam aktiviti geng jenayah seperti dikhabarkan. 

“Kami akan menjalankan siasatan dan mendedahkan penemuan kepada semua, sila bersabar. 

“Nama … saya tak boleh sebut…hormat pada orang yang mati,” kata Zainol kepada pemberita ketika ditemui di tempat kejadian. – fmt

‘Pengundi hantu’ bersepah di DUN Nilai, mungkinkah MCA terlibat?

Apa yang mungkin terlintas di fikiran anda apabila sebuah rumah kosong dan uzur rupa-rupanya menempatkan 14 nama pengundi dengan alamat tersebut.

Apa pula pandangan anda jika rumah ibu bapa anda sendiri rupa-rupanya menjadi alamat kepada sembilan orang yang tidak dikenali?

Mungkin anda juga akan terperanjat jika semak samun belakang rumah anda menjadi alamat kepada 15 orang yang tidak pernah anda ketahui?

Apapun, itulah yang berlaku di Dewan Undangan Negeri Nilai, di mana sebanyak lebih 787 nama meragukan telah dikenalpasti melalui pendaftaran alamat pengundi mereka.

Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Nilai, Arul Kumar Jambunathan berkata, nama-nama meragukan ini telah dikenalpasti didaftarkan pada bulan Oktober, November dan Disember 2016 yang dibuat menggunakan alamat yang tidak diduduki oleh mereka.

“Pihak saya telah pun membuat bantahan terhadap nama-nama meragukan ini di Pejabat Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya (SPR) Seremban dua hari lalu,” katanya kepada Roketkini.

Apa yang menimbulkan tanda tanya kata Arul ialah terdapat sekitar tujuh dan lapan premis yang didaftarkan nama-nama meragukan adalah premis pemimpin MCA.

Tambah meragukan apabila terdapat 10 hingga 15 orang yang didaftarkan di premis pemimpin MCA itu terdiri dari nama-nama Melayu dan India.

“Saya cabar pemimpin MCA di DUN Nilai ini supaya buat laporan polis dan bantahan kepada SPR kerana alamat mereka telah digunakan.

“Jadi, ini telah datangkan persoalan adakah MCA terlibat dalam kerja kotor ini? You tak buat (bantahan), orang boleh syak,” kata Setiausaha Organisasi DAP Negeri Sembilan itu..

Namun, dedah beliau, sehingga hari terakhir untuk membuat bantahan kepada SPR semalam, tidak ada seorang pun pemimpin MCA yang hadir untuk membuat bantahan.

“Seolah-olah mereka (pemimpin MCA) setuju orang lain menggunakan alamat mereka untuk daftar diri sebagai pengundi.

“Tindakan berdiam diri tanpa membuat bantahan oleh pemimpin MCA menunjukkan seolah-olah MCA yang membuat pendaftaran ‘Pengundi Hantu’ ini?” soalnya lagi.

Menurut Arul, sebelum ini pihaknya pernah membuat bantahan terhadap 20 nama pengundi meragukan pada suku ketiga tahun 2016 dan bantahan itu berjaya apabila pihak yang dibantah gagal membuktikan mereka duduk di alamat yang didaftarkan.

Dalam pendedahannya baru-baru ini di Kampung Baru Nilai, terdapat lot tanah kosong turut menjadi ‘mangsa’ pendaftaran nama pengundi meragukan.

Malah di kampung yang sama, terdapat empat buah rumah kosong turut dikenalpasti memiliki pendaftaran bagi 26 nama pengundi.

Setakat ini, sebanyak 787 ‘pengundi hantu’ telah dikenalpasti di DUN Nilai manakala keseluruhan Parlimen Seremban pula mencatatkan jumlah 1,047 nama meragukan. –Roketkini.com

PAS' Act 355 rally a big flop?...

The recent PAS rally in support of the private member’s bill tabled by PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang, to amend the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 turned out to be a damp squib - or in simple English - a big flop!

It was a flop in several ways. Firstly, although PAS had targeted a crowd of 300,000 to show the country that the Malay electorate was behind the controversial amendment, police and analysts estimated the crowd at only 20,000.

The turnout - so much smaller than even Bersih - or Hindraf-organised past rallies - not only shows that this issue does not resonate with the Malay public. It also shows that the reputed grassroots support for PAS has been overrated.

Although in the past we have seen the organisational ability of PAS in drawing the Malay Muslim crowd to rally alongside non-Muslims in Bersih and Pakatan rallies, this time round the Malay public stayed away.

If the thinking in PAS ulama leaders led by Hadi is that his proposed amendments would serve as its main political strategy in order to attract greater support, it is clear that grassroots supporters do not want to give wider powers to the syariah court and to be made use of by Hadi in his ambition to push for an Islamic state in Malaysia.

Which Malay in his right mind wants to see an increase in maximum punishment for syariah offences to 30 years’ jail, fine of up to RM100,000 and up to 100 strokes of the cane for offences?

Which rational Malaysian wants to see the introduction of a two-tier legal system, in which Muslims will be discriminated against as proposed by Hadi and his men, and which could also result in hudud being a reality in our multiracial Malaysia?

I am sure that many, if not most Malays, will agree with lawyer activist Siti Kasim (photo), who has pointed out that PAS’ statement that the syariah laws are God’s law is incorrect. Siti has noted:

“As a Malay, I am the most oppressed. We are told what to wear, what to drink, what to eat and even how to think. Every aspect of our life, we are told what to do.

“If it’s truly God’s law, I will not go against it. But I know for sure that this is not God’s law, this is Hadi’s law.”

The rally's poor attendance was not only a big slap in the face for Hadi. It was also a similar slap in the face for Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and Umno.

The Malay public is well aware that Najib has been playing footsie with Hadi on Islamic issues as a quid pro quo for Hadi keeping quiet on the 1MDB, donation into the Prime Minister's account and other scandals which have caused Najib and Umno to lose popular support.

During the rally, Minister in the PM's Department Jamil Khir Baharom said he attended the PAS rally after getting the green light from Najib. Besides Jamil, his deputy, Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki, was also there in a show of strength by the present leadership of Umno to show off its new found solidarity with PAS.

Growing disillusionment of Umno members

But the ordinary Umno members, despite given the go ahead to attend the rally refused to do so. This accounts for the small crowd in what was in effect a combined PAS-Umno rally. To me this shows the growing disillusionment of Umno members with Najib's and Hadi's marriage of convenience.

Umno members must have known that they were being made use of. Thus, despite the presence of two senior Umno ministers at the rally, they preferred to stay at home!

If the Act 355 rally was a flop for PAS and Umno, the opposition should take heart and feel encouraged. Amanah leaders, especially, should be comforted that the Muslim support for Act 355 has been overrated.

They should now go into the kampung with a campaign that shows that Hadi has little moral or religious standing or integrity because of his silence on Felda scandals, corruption, the goods and services tax (GST) and the many other issues that affect the Malay rural masses.

I hope Amanah, PKR and Bersatu leaders can analyse the Act 355 rally in the way that I have done here and activate a plan to leverage on it since the election date is drawing closer.

The opposition can also benefit from the fact that there is now confusion in the Barisan Nasional parties as to whether Najib and Umno are playing out the other BN parties on Hadi's bill.

This is because, prior to the rally, MCA secretary-general Ong Ka Chuan had said Jamil’s attendance was not sanctioned by the government or BN. All the other BN parties have also repeatedly said that they will vote against Hadi’s bill and strongly signalled their opposition to it.

So what was PM Najib doing when he sent his Malay ministers in charge of religious affairs to the rally? What he was doing was hitting the other BN parties below the belt. Najib should have said “No”.

After all it was a PAS-sponsored rally and one which will open the floodgates to a greater role in society for the religious elite, who presumably will have little mercy when those responsible for 1MDB and similar crimes against the nation are brought before them.

In the coming general election, the opposition must focus their attack on Umno under Najib and PAS under Hadi. These two leaders must be exposed and rejected for their political opportunism and hypocrisy as well as their major shortcomings - one is the king of financial chicanery and the other, the king of religious trickery.- Koon Yew Yin,mk

Korea Utara bidas Malaysia

Pyongyang hari ini membidas pihak berkuasa Malaysia yang membuat pendirian bercanggah berhubung penyiasatan pembunuhan kematian abang pemimpin Korea Utara, berkata ia tidak mempercayai siasatan polis Malaysia.

Duta Korea Utara, Kang Chol menjelaskan, pihaknya kesal apabila tidak dimaklumkan tentang siasatan dilakukan polis terhadap rakyatnya.

“Sudah 7 hari sejak kejadian berlaku, tetapi tidak ada bukti kukuh sebab kematian dan pada masa ini, kami tidak mempercayai siasatan dijalankan polis walaupun keputusan bedah siasat akan diketahui.

“Sebaliknya, ia hanya menambahkan lagi rasa ragu-ragu kami kemungkinan ada pihak lain yang terlibat di sebalik siasatan ini,” katanya dalam satu sidang media, di Kedutaan Korea Utara, di Jalan Batai, hari ini.

Sebelum ini, Wisma Putra bertindak memanggil Kang ekoran kenyataannya yang mendakwa Putrajaya “menyembunyikan sesuatu” serta “berpakat dan bersekongkol dengan pihak luar”.

Kementerian Luar berkata, tuduhan Kang sebagai tidak berasas dan sekaligus mencemarkan reputasi negara ini.

Malaysia sebaliknya, memberi jaminan akan menjalankan siasatan secara telus ke atas kematian Kim Jong Nam dan memaklumkan perkembangan siasatan itu kepada Kedutaan Korea Utara.

Sewaktu sidang media dijalankan, Kang dilihat tidak menggelarkan abang pemimpin Korea Utara, Kim Jong Un itu sebagai Jong Nam sebaliknya memanggilnya sebagai Kim Chol. 

Bagi menyelesaikan perkara itu, Korea Utara mencadangkan pihaknya diberikan peluang terlibat dalam siasatan dilakukan polis.

“Kami mencadangkan agar siasatan bersama dilakukan agar perkara ini lebih jelas. Jika Malaysia bersetuju dengan cadangan kami, kami akan mengutuskan deligasi peguam,” katanya.

Selain itu, Korea Utara juga meminta agar pihaknya diberikan peluang bertemu 2 suspek yang dipercayai terlibat dalam pembunuhan Jong Nam.

“Ada sesetengah pihak yang menyatakan 2 suspek itu diarahkan pihak lain. Kami berminat untuk mendengar sendiri daripada suspek bagi mengetahui siapakah yang mengarahkannya,” katanya.

Tambah Kang, tindakan polis menyimpan mayat Jong Nam terlalu lama juga dilihat sebagai motif politik dan dilihat seolah-olah bekerjasama dengan Korea Selatan.

“Media Korea Selatan melaporkan kematian warga Korea Utara dengan nama lain sehari selepas kejadian. Kami pula dimaklumkan polis Malaysia pada keesokan petang tentang kematian itu.

“Bagaimana mungkin Korea Selatan dapat mengeluarkan laporan tentang kematiannya dengan nama lain sebelum kami tahu?” katanya.

Kang berkata, tindakan polis yang tidak memakai seragam polis menyerbu kediaman rakyatnya dan menahan tanpa sebarang waran atau bukti jelas melanggar hak asasi manusia.

“Mereka juga menyiarkan di televisyen tentang kejadian penahanan itu. Ini dikira pelanggaran hak asasi manusia yang besar.

“Malah mereka turut mengacukan pistol ke arah ahli keluarga untuk mengugut nyawa mereka dan memukul anak lelakinya di rumah. Ini pelanggaran hak asasi manusia yang hanya dilihat di dalam filem geng Amerika Syarikat,” katanya.

Isnin lalu, Jong Nam yang dijadualkan berlepas ke Macau pada jam 9 pagi itu, didatangi 2 wanita yang menyembur sejenis cecair dan menyerkup mukanya dengan sehelai kain di Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur 2 (klia2).

This afternoon, North Korean ambassador Kang Chol accused Malaysian police of threatening the family of a North Korean citizen, and beating up the latter's son when they raided his condominium in Kuala Lumpur.

During a press conference at the embassy in Kuala Lumpur, the envoy read out a five-page statement.

"Last Friday night, Malaysian plainclothes police raided the condominium of our citizen here in Kuala Lumpur and forcibly arrested him without any warrant or evidence and made it public that they arrested the mastermind before any form of inquiry began.

"They also aired on TV the scene that (the) said person was arrested in fetters. This is a grave human rights abuse.

"They even pointed guns at his family members to threaten their lives and beat his teenage son in the face. This is the human rights abuse that can be seen only in US gang films," he said.

The hard-hitting statement comes in the wake of Wisma Putra disclosing that Kang Chol would be summoned to explain his remarks that appeared to insinuate that the Malaysian government had something to conceal.

The 15-minutes press conference was called by Kang this evening to level allegations of Malaysia's unjust behaviour against North Korea following police investigation on the death of Jong-nam.

'Political plot'

Commenting on this, Kang said Malaysia's request for a DNA sample from the next-of-kin before releasing Jong-nam's body was "preposterous".

"Where can we find out the precedent that the body of the deceased with clear citizenship is released after the DNA sample is provided ?" he said.

"It is normal to test the DNA to identify the identification and the next-of-kin of the deceased that the body was rotted, burnt or turn into skeleton.

"As long as the citizenship is clear, his identification is confirmed by the embassy which is in charge of his consular rights and moreover he is diplomatic passport holder, such request could be regarded as political plot behind the incident," he said.- mk

Menggunakan nama, "Datin Norhayati Abd Malek" pada akaun Facebook, usahawan barangan kosmetik terbabit memberitahu pemberian suaminya itu dapat diguna untuk "merayap" ke rumah beberapa rakannya di sekitar Kuala Lumpur.

"Kti (Kak Norhayati) dapat hadiah kereta dari En Somi (suami)" diikuti simbol wajah dengan mata lambang hati sebelum menyambung, "Audi Q7... bolehlah merayap rumah Zuraidah Yusof, Asikin Tajul, Saemah Mamat yang duduk area KL," seperti dipetik dari akaun Facebook beliau.

Walau bagaimanapun, semakan Malaysia Dateline pagi ini mendapati 'posting' tersebut yang turut melampirkan foto kereta berharga kira-kira RM600,000 itu telah dipadam manakala status Norhayati yang dimuat naik awal pagi tadi memberitahu dirinya sedang bersedih.

"Waktu sedih macam ni tiba-tiba teringat kat Kekanda Yang Teramat Mulia Tunku Soraya yang selalu bagi kekuatan kat kti," luahnya.

Sementara itu, bukti Norhayati isteri kepada Khairuddin dapat dikenalpasti apabila wanita berkenaan pada 15 Februari lalu memuat naik gambar pemimpin Pas yang memusuhi Amanah dan DAP itu berkemeja-T jalur merah jambu dan berkaca mata sedang bersiar-siar di kawasan berpasir bersama kanak-kanak dipercayai anaknya.

"Balik ganu (Terengganu) bila kita panggil depa (mereka) 'dik bagi akk (akak) air kelapa, depa tengok je muka kti lama-lama.. .

"Tak, saya memang kakak dari adik, saya isteri YB Kuala Nerus.. Terpaksalah berjela-jela dok terang kat depa bila depa beliakkan mata tengok kti," ujarnya yang difahamkan berasal dari Kedah mengikut profil beliau di Facebook.

Tindakan Norhayati mengumumkan hadiah yang diterima daripada Ahli Parlimen Kuala Nerus di Terengganu itu dianggap ramai netizen sebagai melampau memandangkan statusnya sebagai isteri kepada pemimpin yang kononnya parti Islam.

Namun, ada juga yang dipercayai penyokong Pas menganggap tidak perlu berdengki dengan rezeki orang lain kerana Norhayati adalah seorang ahli perniagaan sebelum dibidas netizen bahawa Audi Q7 itu bukan dibelinya sendiri sebaliknya jelas dihadiahkan suaminya yang merupakan seorang wakil rakyat.

Kecenderungan menayangkan kereta mewah di Facebook itu mengulang perangai sama beberapa pemimpin Pas sebelum ini antaranya Ketua Dewan Ulamak Pas Pahang, Ustaz Mokhtar Senik.

Mokhtar yang mutakhir ini kerap dilihat tampil di khalayak dengan jari kanan bertutup kain seperti pada Himpunan RUU 355 lepas turut memuat naik dua foto kereta mewah yang digelarnya 'kuda-kuda hitam' di Facebook, 14 Januari lalu.

Namun, itu bukan kali pertama dia yang pernah tiga tahun ditahan Akta Keselamatan Dalam Negeri (ISA) kerana terbabit dengan kumpulan Al-Maunah berbuat demikian kerana pada 17 Disember 2015 Mokhtar dikesan memuat naik gambar kereta Mercedes miliknya di media sosial tersebut.- rakyat marhaen

"Kalau kau rasa UMNO terok terhadap Islam dan Melayu, bayangkan sekiranya DAP berkuasa"...

My earliest recollection of DAP was the Red Rocket. That was what I know of the DAP in my early teens. I did not know who was leading the DAP, I did not know who were members of the DAP, no idea what their political ideologies were....not a brass farthing. Apart from that Red Rocket I had this idea that the DAP was a communist party...a Chinese party. 

A political party up to no good and wanting to take away from the Malays what little the Malays then had. Where that idea originated I am unsure. Certainly it did not come from my late father because we never discussed politics in our time together. It must have come from my peers with whom I might have, from to time, discussed these things. 

Today I know much more about the DAP. For a start I spent 2009 or thereabouts writing articles for Lim Kit Siang Blog. In that time I read also what Kit Siang posted in his own blog and the many comments by others who read what he posted. When you do this on a regular basis you get a sense and a feel of what DAP and Lim Kit Siang stood for. Overwhelmingly I felt that DAP was making a concerted effort to make itself into a political entity for all Malaysians. 

I have no problems with DAP....but many Malays do. For them the DAP is a clear and present danger to all Malays and to Islam and if asked they will have their reasons for thinking so. There are enough of these anti DAP Malays out there not only for DAP to worry about but also for all right thinking Malaysians to worry about because nothing will cause the fragmentation of our Malaysian society quite like the ignorance of those who think themselves so right in mistakenly accusing the DAP of being a threat to the Malays and to Islam.  

"Soalan aku , dalam bahasa mudah, macam mana kau semacam (secara langsung atau tidak langsung) sokong dap yang terang-terang tidak mesra Islam dan Melayu?! Kalau kau rasa umno terok terhadap Islam dan Melayu, bayangkan sekiranya dap berkuasa." 
      
Why would someone, who I thought could think for himself, believe that if DAP ever came into government, the Malays and Islam would suffer? Why? What did he think DAP would do to Islam and to the Malays if the DAP ever won government? Banish Islam to the ends of the earth and have the Malays discriminated against in all things Malaysians? 

And yet even as I despair, there are others who think differently This came to me just a few minutes ago: 

"I followed UMNO's reign in Penang for all those years. In the beginning, UMNO can rule Penang alone! It had majority by itself. Don't need MCA or MIC. But slowly, both orang Melayu and China gave up on UMNO. Melayu left and Chinese also left MCA. Gerakan got the support for a while but now, both Melayu and China support DAP."

So maybe all is not lost. 

But while we celebrate diversity let us also hope that there will be enough of us around to do what is the right for our nation and for our people. While I am a Malay and you, my reader, may not be one, let us measure each other by our ability to treat others as we would like others to treat us. And in this I know that the DAP will not fail us. Ostb : What is happening is that Egyptian society is facing a situation where their car has run out of fuel, they have got out of their cars, they are standing by the roadside and they do not know what to do. 

This will soon happen in Malaysia. It has to happen in Malaysia. 

The main difference is that in Egypt it affects everyone equally, especially the poor.

In Malaysia it will affect the Malays and some other Muslims more than the non Muslims.

Now look at the highlights in red above. Former KSU of the Finance Ministry Tan Sri Sheriff Kassim recently wrote an open letter to the prime minister saying that the govt should trim the civil service now before they run out of money to pay salaries for our 1.6 million civil servants.

That is what the IMF has imposed upon Egypt.  Meaning yes their Civil Service is bloated and they must cut it down.

Isnt the Malaysian Civil Service also bloated?

Ok here is the soalan cepu mas. How many per cent of the Malaysian Civil Service is non Malay (Chinese, Indian etc)?  5%?   

Meaning the majority of Civil Servants are Malays. If the gomen is forced to cut the Civil Service (and they will have to, they have little choice) then what will those mostly Malay Civil Servants do? 

Can they all become Uber drivers? Can they all sell nasi lemak? Not likely. 

The vast majority of Chinese are already independent of subsidies and independent of the gomen. They will continue surviving - although they too will suffer a slowdown.  

The CIA World Fact Book says about Malaysia :

Population:  30,949,962 (July 2016 est.)
Ethnic groups:  Malay 50.1%, Chinese 22.6%, indigenous 11.8%, Indian 6.7%, other 0.7%, non-citizens 8.2% (2010 est.)

Going by these numbers, about half the population will run out of fuel. They will not know what else to do. 

The other half will know what to do. They may not run out of fuel yet. 

This is not good. But there are extremely easy solutions.

Semua isu-isu yang timbul sejak Dato' Seri Najib menjadi Perdana Menteri dan Menteri Kewangan tidak melibatkan Lim Kit Siang. 

Apakah isu-isu tersebut? 

1. Lim Kit Siang tidak mencadang atau menyokong pengenalan GST yang membebankan rakyat jelata.

2. Lim Kit Siang tidak mencadang atau menyokong keputusan menghapuskan subsidi sehingga naik harga barang dan toll.

3. Lim Kit Siang tidak mencadang atau menyokong kenaikan harga minyak petrol dan diesel.

4. Lim Kit Siang tidak pernah bersetuju untuk menggunakan wang KWAP untuk melabur dalam perniagaan atau perusahaan yang tidak menguntungkan.

5. Lim Kit Siang tidak pernah dirundingi untuk menukar surat hak-milik tanah peneroka Felda yang sangat bernilai dan tidak turun harganya dengan sijil saham yang tidak menentu harganya dan kini harga sahamnya merudum turun kerana dilanda kerugian.

6. Lim Kit Siang tidak pernah menjadi perajurit dalam angkatan tentera dan tidak tahu menahu mengenai Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera; beliau tidak terlibat dalam keputusan menggunakan wang tabung LTAT untuk membiayai projek yang tidak menguntungkan. 

7. Lim Kit Siang tidak pernah pinjam duit Mara untuk berniaga atau sebagai biasiswa waktu beliau belajar; beliau juga tidak pernah merestui penyelewengan yang kini dikatakan berlaku dalam MARA.

8. Lim Kit Siang belum memeluk ugama Islam dan beliau tidak pun tahu mengenai salahguna wang Lembaga Urusan dan Tabung Haji untuk pelaburan yang merugikan. 

9. Lim Kit Siang, kerana belum memeluk ugama Islam, tidak pernah membayar zakat itulah sebabnya dia tidak tahu bahawa pejabat ugama mengadakan lawatan ke Paris sebagai salah satu acara dalam 'Kursus Pernikahan'.

10. Lim Kit Siang bukan seorang Melayu/Bumiputera dan dia tidak merasa penderitaan, dan bukan sebab kepada penderitaan, maka biasiswa anak-anak Melayu dikurangkan jumlahnya oleh kerajaan.

Tetapi apakah ini bermakna permainan politik dah selesai? Tidak! Apakah dalam sidang Parlimen yang terdekat ini, BN bersetuju untuk sokong dan sanggup luluskan RUU355? 

MP-MP dari Sabah & Sarawak setuju ke? Saya tak sabar nak saksikan sejauh mana tarik isu RUU355 ni. 

Sampai lupa sapa musuh negara.. setakat nak kata musuh negara ialah DAP- itu ayat basi.

Sejauh Mana Anda Memahami Hudud

I have argued time and again that the greatest threat to the Muslim world is not the West, but rather, corruption and incompetence in administration in the Muslim countries themselves.

To this argument there were a number of crucial pieces of evidence. First of all, there is a clear inverse correlation between corruption and economic development not just in the Middle East, but globally. 

Secondly, Muslim countries are among the most corrupt countries in the world, and this maps well to the problems we know well from the region.

In this sense, the abundance of natural resources has served to mask much of the problem, as per capita wealth in the region comes out as much higher than it would have been for a given level of corruption, and that distorts the perception of societal problems in these countries.

For another, that abundance of wealth can be used to buy off the acquiescence of the population to an otherwise questionable regime, as is the case with the benefits that these states lavish upon their population, or alternatively, can be used to fund extensive repressive police and intelligence apparatuses to keep the population in check, as was the case in Saddam-era Iraq. Ostb : Malaysia and all the other Islamic countries have been  betrayed by its people, either the majority voters (as in Turkey and Malaysia) or a sufficient minority that wields influence and power (like the oligarchs and their sycophantic religious clergy aka butt kissers).

Both these groups have supported and continue to support the corrupt and the tyrants as their leaders. Why is that so?

The short answer is they are extremely short sighted. The shorter answer is that they are less intelligent. They are less intelligent because they are not properly educated.

Whether at home under the care of their mothers (when they were young), under the care of their families and societies, under the guidance of  the religious teachers or  under the tutelage of their education systems,   they have not imbibed real values that are relevant to human life.

Instead they are brought up, moulded, guided and taught to become human failures. There is not an Islamic country in the world that can be declared equal to or as successful as even a mid-level Western country. 

The problem becomes worse for the Muslim countries because minus some forceful hand to overlook their affairs (colonialism, a cruel dictator,  a benevolent dictator, an authoritarian system etc) their natural state is to regress, to become dysfunctional, quarrelsome and finally to kill each other. In other words, when left alone to their own ends, they all become quite insane.

This contrasts sharply with non Islamic countries around the world who have a much better record of being able to organise themselves and improve their quality of life. 

Many have gone through wars, corrupt regimes, kleptocrats, cruel dictators etc. But once their wars are over or their tyrants have been overthrown, they can get along with organising their affairs and move forward. Hence we see the stars shining brightly or beginning to shine brightly over Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, even the Philippines, of course China and many rising nations in South America and Africa. 

If left to themselves, minus the corrupt and the dictators, the natural state of these countries is to advance very quickly.
  
The single largest positive factor that I perceive is that in all these advanced and advancing countries, religion is kept out of politics and out of government. Or in the case of the Philippines religion is beginning to be kept out of government and politics.   They are not paranoid about their religion.     

The second point is that in these countries, their society does not pry into the private affairs of its citizens to expose and embarrass each other over what they term 'criminal sins'.  In Islamic countries, the society itself (mothers, fathers, siblings, relatives, neighbors, the village, the town) constantly watch and pass judgement on each other over alleged breach of religious rules and cultural taboos.

Making things worse is religion that is very short of evidence to prove its beliefs. Hence religion becomes not uniform - meaning there is no one version. At best it is a sectarian imagination.  

And because the mothers, fathers, siblings, aunts, uncles, relatives, neighbours and their society at large are the conduits of this rather backward behaviour, it is a natural extension that their politics, their governments, their police, their enforcement authorities ALL reflect the wishes and the beliefs of the society.

Hence they are doomed. 

There are many Rule No 1s to making themselves stupid. One of the Rule No 1s is 'do not question your religious teachers, do not ridicule (aka question) the religious teachers, do not question your religion, do not ridicule (aka question) your religion'.  Hence the 'anti-blasphemy' laws, the crime of of 'insulting Islam', the 'apostasy laws' etc. It is a mark of an uneducated society, despite its universities and universal 'education'.

If you spent seven years studying at a school for bomohs (shamanism), it does not make you educated at all. That is what some of these religious outfits are. 

Would you like some evidence? 

Does a Hysteria Kit represent an educated society? 
Does a "We provide prayer answering services" sound like it comes from an educated society? 
Does 'Kismis Tawaf' indicate that they have any brains at all?  

I am afraid not. 

Along come the smart beggars like Super Moron, Bawang and Tin Sadin who can see that the people are indeed not 'educated'. 

They can read that the people prefer 'black magic' instead of science.
Or in other words, that the people prefer the irrational instead of the rational. 
They can read that the people are swayed by promises of the non-existent instead of a higher quality of life and standard of living here today.

So they take the people for a ride.

Then they go one step further. They must keep the people stupid.

So give them more overdoses of the supernatural, of blackmagic, of the illogical (kita tidak boleh gunakan akal dalam semua perkara) and of incoherent religion. 

And then to keep them in line make laws to frighten them and to keep them from asking too many questions.

Jail them for 30 years, fine them RM100,000 and/or whip them 100 lashes.

My name is Mujahidin, I am a Muslim 

and I reject Hadi’s bill...

I am a Muslim. I am far from a perfect Muslim but I believe in Allah.

Maybe many will question why I reject Abdul Hadi Awang’s proposed amendments to Act 355. If I am a Muslim, aren’t I compelled to accept shariah law?

My first response is that this is not Allah’s law. It is a man-made law. It does not state in the Quran and hadiths that punishments is paid in ringgit or any currency for that matter.

There is no summons or punishment prescribed in shariah, What is prescribed is compensation in place of Qisas (law of retaliation). So my question is where does the punishment of paying a fine come from?

From Allah? Or has Hadi become God?

In the Quran, Allah says: Allah will not burden his people with that which they have no ability to bear (Surah Albaqarah).

Who can afford to pay the RM100,000 fine which Hadi is seeking? Only the rich and if the proposed amendments are passed, where is the social justice should the fine be too heavy for the poor? And if a judge has the discretion to heavily fine a rich person and give a poor man a lighter punishment, then isn’t this prejudice which goes against Allah’s commandment?

“O ye who believe! stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest ye swerve, and if ye distort (justice) or decline to do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.” (An Nisa 135).

Only Allah is fit to judge a person. A prejudiced judge is a judge who isn’t accepted by Islam. Punishments which aren’t based on the Quran or hadiths should be abolished not misused. 

Secondly, the punishment of 100 lashes of the cane is a hudud punishment. It is indeed found in the Quran but for zina (unlawful sexual relations). In carrying out this punishment, you need four Muslim male witnesses. The witnesses have to be of good character, clever, fair and someone who is not fasiq or unreliable (by virtue of intentionally and constantly transgresses boundaries prescribed by Allah, and considered unreliable).

Let us look at khalwat (close proximity) raids.

Most of the raids are carried out by officers who don’t appear to be of good character (a lack of manners means not of good character, right?), and they don’t appear to be clever or else they would be doctors, engineers or lawyers, right? Ok, maybe they are clever because the requirement for being clever is not being insane, but are they really not insane? Hmmm… at a glance, some of them look crazy enough.

And are they fair? If their KPI is to arrest people, then there is a problem because a lack of arrests can be seen as them not doing their job. And if they are seen as not doing their job they can be sacked. So how can we be sure they will be 100% fair?

And are they really not fasiq? Do they not commit the smallest sins? Who doesn’t commit the smallest sins? Most of them smoke and that is enough to constitute a small sin (and since smoking is haram according to a previous fatwa). This makes them unreliable.

And if the 100 lashes is a hudud punishment, why are they lying by saying the proposed amendments aren’t hudud? If they can lie like this why do we want to accept liars as our leaders? They might feel this is tazir punishments (punishments at a discretion of a judge or ruler) but tazir punishments cannot be as heavy as hudud punishments.

This was agreed upon by the Islamic jurists Al Shafie, Al Hanbali and Hanafi. Only Maliki feels tazir punishments can be heavy but not excessive. But if we want to follow the Maliki school of thought, we also have to accept that dogs aren’t unclean? Hah? Why not, right?

Also, the 30-year jail sentence isn’t in the Quran. This punishment is excessive for our existing shariah offences. In fact, it goes against the views of the Islamic jurists, including Maliki.

Fourthly, shariah law will disrupt the lives of non-Muslims. A khalwat raid on a couple where one person is a non-Muslim will have an impact on that person. The need for witnesses who are Muslim will also have an impact on non-Muslims as they can’t be witnesses. If they can’t be witnesses, how can they get justice?

As an example, if a non-Muslim husband or wife has an adulterous relationship with a Muslim, they cannot accuse the Muslim of adultery. Thankfully, they aren’t punished by our shariah laws or else they would receive 80 lashes of the cane.

Once more, most importantly, if such punishments aren’t prescribed in the Quran and hadiths, why is it called Allah’s law? Astargfirullahalazim… we shouldn’t simply come up with worldly punishments and label them as Allah’s law. Don’t lie and more importantly, don’t slander Allah.

Allah commands that slander is worst than murder. More importantly, Allah commanded prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.)

“Verily, We have sent down to you (O Muhammad) the Book for mankind in truth. So whosoever accepts the guidance, it is only for his own self; and whosoever goes astray, he goes astray only for his own loss.” (Qur’an 39:41)

MB Johor tinggal di rumah kedai bersama 13 yang lain?

Is Johor MB living in a shoplot with 13 others?

The latest voter list appears to suggest that Johor Menteri Besar Khaled Nordin resides in a shoplot in Masai, Johor with 13 others. This was uncovered by Johor Pakatan Harapan after combing through the electoral roll for the fourth quarter 2016, that is currently on display.

According to Mengkibol state assemblyperson Tan Hong Pin, the address in question is the Pasir Gudang Umno division headquarters at 1, Jalan Tembusu Taman Rinting. The electoral roll for third quarter 2016 recorded Khaled and his son Akmal Saufi's change of voter address to the above location.

The electoral roll for the subsequent quarter recorded that 12 more people had been added to the same address.

"If the electoral roll is gazetted, then there will be 14 people, including the MB and his son, registered as voters at that address," said the DAP assemblyperson. This was among hundreds of suspicious voter details that Tan had submitted to the Johor Election Commission today.

According to Tan, the dubious voters had appeared in four parliamentary constituencies - Gelang Patah, Kluang, Segamat and Pasir Gudang.

From the data that has been collected, Tan concluded that there appears to be an effort increase the number of voters at a specific address, either through registration of new voters or change in address.

Secondly, he concluded that these suspicious records would only appear in constituencies where BN faced stiff competition during the last general election.

"For example, (suspicious voter records appear) in the state constituency of Nusajaya (under Gelang Patah) and Mahkota (under Kluang), where BN won with a small majority.

"There are no such problems in the Skudai and Mengkibol constituency where BN lost badly," he said. Tan said that as the general election draws nearer, it would appear that there are attempts to subvert the electoral process.

"I just never would have imagined it would happen so blatantly and involve the menteri besar himself. I urge him to explain himself," said Tan. He said that the evidence that he and his comrades had gathered calls to question the Malaysian electoral roll's integrity.- mk
