Gani Patail, Johari Ghani & Selamat Hari Natal...

Safe Journey..

- anak sungai derhaka.

Johari Ghani and the Chinese...

The MP for Titiwangsa Johari Bin Abdul Ghani, Deputy Minister of Finance had made it clear that he does not need the Chinese and Indians to win the Titiwangsa seat. He did a mathematical calculation that all he needed was the 32,000 Malay voters and that was all. He made it very clear that the Chinese and Indians are a minority and they are nothing but just customers.

Johari Bin Abdul Ghani is the Managing Director of CI Holdings Bhd the owners of Pemanis Sdn. Bhd. He came on the board this company on the 29th of November 2002.

Well, since we are nothing but mere customers, and since he does not need the Chinese and the Indians, I suppose he also does not need our patronage on Pemanis Sdn Bhd products.  Continue reading...

LTAT buys FGV shares, terus RUGI...

Image result for pengerusi lembaga tabung haji malaysia

LTAT bought another 765,000 shares of FGV on 1, 2 Dec.  It owns 287.2 million shares since 2 Dec. Baca di sini.

After LTAT bought those 765,000 shares in FGV, the EPF "leaked" an internal memo saying that the EPF has dumped a few hundred million shares in FGV.

This caused FGV shares to crash by about 8 sen to RM1.54 !!

This means LTAT sudah RUGI lagi !!  Pasai apa lah hangpa ni b_d_h sangat ??

So far we have seen that FGV shares are going down, down and down.  Who in their right mind will take PUBLIC FUNDS and buy FGV shares now?

To LTAT's investment managers, use your own money lah ! Use your own money to buy FGV shares for yourself.

Then here is more shocking information.

Before this it was announced that loss making and troubled FGV would buy a stake in the Indonesian Peter Sondhak's (Rajawali group) Eagle High Plantations.

(Felda) to buy 37% in Rajawali's Eagle High Plantations for $505.4m a year after (FGV) scrapped plan to buy similar stake for $680m

Instead of using listed FGV, Felda use an unlisted unit to buy Eagle High seeking to cut the price by as much as 30%. Peter Sondakh has long-standing ties with Najib

FGV shares tumbled 5.6% on Fri, lowest in 3 weeks  after EPF sold its entire stake  Eagle High jumped 8.8%, highest in 8 months on Friday.

RM2.3 BILLION ! !  Mana dapat duit besar macam tu brader?

Here is some info. Peter Sondhak "lends" his private jet to transport the Hippo around. Few people know the tail-number of the private jet, so they cannot trace the jet easily.

So last year they tried to "buy" the stake thru FGV for US$680 million.

Now, one year later, and AFTER the Ringgit has crashed, the 37.5% stake has GONE DOWN in price to US$505 million.

How come ? Ringgit sudah jatuh. Sepatutnya harga pun mesti naik. Sebab depa sebut harga guna US Dollar. Macam mana depa kira?

Unless, depa terpaksa tolak 'Christmas Sale' shopping trip kat New York kut?
Sebab sekarang, kalau depa pi New York, kut-kut masuk lokap.

So purchase price pun jatuhlah - from US680 million down to US505 million !

Down by 35 % !!

- rakyat marhaen

Najib buat peneroka rugi RM2,416.00

- f/bk

Did EPF Record RM600 Million
Loss From Selling FGV Shares?
Is EPF witholding other information?...

EPF no longer has any stake in FGV.

"As of today, EPF no longer holds any shares in FGV,” EPF internal statement

Shares in FGV fell 8 sen, 4.94% after (EPF) said no more stake in FGV.
12.30pm, FGV fell 8 sen to RM1.54 with 6.98 million shares traded.

We have also been asking the EPF to reassure the public about that RM6.5 billion loanthey made to Felda in 2010.

At last the EPF has replied indirectly by "leaking" an internal memo.

I say EPF, why not just answer straight forward?

But first read what 's on The Star Business News...

Shares in Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) fell 8 sen, or 4.94% in the morning session after the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) said it no longer has any stake in FGV.

At 12.30pm, FGV fell 8 sen to RM1.54 with 6.98 million shares traded. It warrants also fell following the latest news.

“We respect the views of our shareholders and we are cognizant of their prerogative to buy or sell our shares as per their investment priorities,” FGV group president and CEO Datuk Zakaria Arshad said in a statement on Friday. Continue reading...

Now in accordance with EPF's high standards of corporate governance  please tell the public (you can "leak" another internal memo if you want)  how much losses you have made from selling your stake in FGV Bhd?

Here is a table from FGV's Annual Report 2014 :

EPF held 192.6 million shares in FGV. They bought it for RM876.3 million. In 2014 these shares were worth only RM300.4 million. At that time the paper loss was RM575.8 million.

Now since the EPF has sold ALL their shares in FGV they must have made losses of RM575.8 million or maybe more.  These are no more 'paper losses' but real losses.

Now EPF says :

"EPF practices high standards of corporate governance with robust policies on risk control and strategic asset allocation"

I say : Kepala botak engkau.

If you practise such high standards then how did you end up burning over half a billion Ringgit of public funds in this type of company ?

About that RM6.5 billion loan to Felda, the EPF says :

- RM6.5bil loan taken by Felda Holdings Bhd not in default
- Felda continues to service loan

If the EPF has rescheduled the Felda loan (being such a friendly lender) then of course the loan will not be in default.  Its as simple as that.

The question that EPF must answer is "Have they ever resheduled this RM6.5 Billion loan to Felda?"

Please answer honestly. Because if Felda CANNOT repay the loan and EPF keeps rescheduling the loan, there will never be a default.    You will be cheating the public.

So please tell the truth. And Malaysian Press, please ask EPF the right questions.

Felda borrowed the RM6.5 Billion from EPF in 2010 for replanting of the oil palm trees.

But that was not achieved because even this year they say they need money for replanting.

So what was that RM6.5 billion used for? Can the EPF answer?

If the loan was NOT used for the intended purpose then that is a breach of covenants - and an act of default.

The EPF must bear in mind that not telling the whole truth, covering up the truth or worse  telling lies, is not only wrong, unethical, unprofessional and maybe criminal but for orang Islam who like to show off by going to the masjid and sitting in front, it is also hypocritical (sifat kemunafikan) and of course a perbuatan berdosa.

So please tell the truth.

Now here is something else to ponder.  The EPF has dumped 192.6 million FGV shares and recorded a loss in excess of RM0.5 BILLION.

What about Tabung Haji, PNB, ASB, SOCSO, LTAT, KWP, Felda Land etc who bought over 2.1 billion FGV shares?  Their paper losses total up something like RM7 BILLION !

EPF says they dumped the FGV shares because they have high standards of corporate governance and robust policies.

So does this mean that Tabung Haji, PNB, ASB, SOCSO, LTAT, KWP, FELDA LAND do not have as high standards as the EPF?

Are those donkeys still holding on to the toilet paper grade FGV shares ?

Their paper losses total up something like RM7 BILLION !!  If EPF has dumped FGV shares, shouldnt they be dumping the shares too?  -  ostb

Where Is Mohd Ridhuan Abdullah Hiding?

For the past seven years, mother M. Indira Gandhi, has been subject to untold suffering, as a result of her husband’s action, the ruling of the Court of Appeal and inaction by the police. No mother, non-Muslim or Muslim, should have to go through this ordeal. Even Muslims are furious with her nightmare.

The Indira Gandhi case has exposed many flaws in our system, issues which have yet to be resolved.

First. The dual system of justice has failed many Malaysians. It does not work. It makes a mockery of justice.

Second. Conversion cases have a tendency to drag on for years. The government needs to address this issue seriously, before more families suffer unnecessarily.

Third. The Syariah courts are poor at dispensing justice. In most cases, they act as if they  supercede civil law. How can a non-Muslim expect redress in a Syariah court, after one partner has converted to Islam?

Fourth. The police cherry pick whom they will arrest, and the urgency of the matter. They enforce the law at their leisure, as has been shown by the IGP’s handling of the Indira case.

Fifth. The people who claim that Syariah laws will not affect non-Muslims need only look at Indira’s case, to be proven wrong.

The 41-year-old Indira’s story started 23 years ago, when she married K. Pathmanathan. They were both Hindus, at the time.

When the marriage started to fail, Indira filed for divorce but this was complicated when Pathmanathan converted to Islam, in 2009, without telling his wife. He also converted their three young children, by proxy. Their youngest, a daughter, Prasana Diksa, was only 11-months old.

By this time, Pathmanathan had taken the name, Mohd Ridhuan Abdullah, and he went to the Syariah court to obtain custody of his children.

This was the worst predicament any non-Muslim could find herself in. Indira is Hindu and could not challenge Ridhuan in the syariah court, as this was considered a Muslim case.

Indira is not the only person who is suffering as this is a common problem faced by many Malaysians, who are locked in bitter disputes over the conversion of their children, if one partner is a non-muslim.

Undaunted, Indira launched her legal battle and in 2013, the High Court awarded the custody of her children, to her, and allowed her to bring them up as Hindus, as it quashed the conversion of her three children.

At the time, Justice Lee Swee Seng said the conversion certificates were invalid because they were unconstitutional. He noted that they had been issued in the absence of the children and their mother. He stressed that the children had not been asked to recite the Kalimah Shahadah (affirmation of faith).

He specifically mentioned three articles of the Federal Constitution: Article 3, which allows people to practise their religions in peace and harmony, Article 5 which guarantees the right to life and liberty, and Article 11 on the freedom of religion, which confers one the right to educate a child in one’s own faith.

Lee reminded us of the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child. He stated that under a Perak enactment, children had to be present, for the issuance of a certificate of conversion, and that under the Perak Syariah Law, they had to recite the Kalimah Shahadah, in the presence of an official witnesses.

Ridhuan was determined to challenge this High Court ruling and launched an appeal.

In 2014, the Ipoh High Court ordered the IGP to arrest Pathmanathan and to recover Prasana Diksa, but the IGP claimed that the Syariah court and High Court orders were conflicting.

A few months later, also in 2014, the Court of Appeal set aside the mandamus order on the IGP; but in 2015, the Federal Court reinstated the mandamus order. Then, in 2016, the Federal Court ordered the IGP to arrest Pathmanathan.

The lawyer and MP, M. Kulasegaran, acting for Indira, has sent two letters to the IGP, demanding that he execute the order. He complained that he had not heard from the IGP and said, “...However, there has been no reply from the IGP. If I, as an MP and a lawyer, received this fate, what more the public?” (sic)

In court, the Chief Judge of Malaya, Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin, who is leading the five-member bench, asked for Ridhuan, and was told by his laywer, Hatem Musa, that he was not present.

An irritated Justice Zulkefli said, “We do not want the people to say the court is not concerned, as we want to know. (sic) So the warrant of arrest remains unexecuted, and with all the enforcement you (police) cannot trace.” (sic)

So, why is the IGP dragging his heels, and not executing the order to arrest Ridhuan and locate Prasana?

Perhaps, it is time the government treats the child conversion issue with less indolence. Instead of fast-tracking the Hudud Bill, MPs should debate the Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce) (Amendment) Bill 2016 at the current sitting of parliament, rather than wait for the March sitting.

Free-Falling Ringgit...

Image result for free falling ringgit

I never realised the enormity of the RM’s (Ringgit Malaysia) value till reality hit squarely in my face. I was at Ipoh’s more popular money changer along Jalan Yang Kalsom recently to acquire some NTD (New Taiwan Dollar) for my year-end trip abroad. The official rate on that day was 7.34 Taiwan dollars to one Malaysian ringgit. The changer’s rate was obviously much lower as it is his business.

The guy at the counter quoted 6.9 Taiwan dollars to a ringgit. I was hesitant to transact thinking that the rate would go up, as that was the trend that day. But his answer was something unexpected. “Uncle, the ringgit’s rate is very volatile; it may go up or down anytime. You better change now as I can’t guarantee the rate even by lunchtime today.”

It has been a roller coaster ride for our currency. The RM, over a period of time, has acquired a notoriety not seen since it was pegged at RM3.80 to the US dollar by Mahathir following the financial crash in the early 1990s. It clawed its way to RM3.20 to 1 USD after stagnating for nearly a decade. Now it is free-falling like nobody’s business. In fact the RM is the worst-performing denomination in Asia.

I thought the honour belongs to the Thai Baht and the Indonesian Rupiah but surprisingly these two currencies fared far better. A friend complained that the traders at the border towns of Betong, Pekan Siam and Hatyai had stopped taking the ringgit in their daily dealings preferring the baht over the ringgit. This is a slap on our face considering the disdain we have had for our neighbours’ currencies.

Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), our central bank, is never short of excuses. It has constantly reminded Malaysians that the country’s economic fundamentals are strong and as such the ringgit’s value will stand the test of time regardless of external pressures beyond the regulatory bank’s control. In spite of all the assurances the ringgit’s value continues to spiral downwards.

Bank Negara Malaysia, after much soul-searching, initiated new measures to encourage domestic trade of the ringgit and to stem its slide against the Greenback. Effective Monday, December 5, exporters could only retain up to 25 per cent of export proceeds in foreign currency while the remaining 75 per cent must be in RM. Previously it was limitless.

As a sweetener, to keep more cash at home, proceeds from exports would earn an interest of 3.25 per cent per annum. The new measure, according to BNM, works but to what extent? Why now when the local currency has been free-falling for over a year? It is a clear case of too little too late.

Will the long-suffering rakyat be relieved of this curse? I have a nagging feeling that we will be in the rut far longer than most have anticipated. The reason is obvious but few want to dabble in it for fear of being branded a “traitor”. No, not with the Sedition Act looming on their conscience.

Former Finance Minister Tun Daim Zainuddin has openly said that the poor performance of the ringgit is not caused by external pressures but poor governance.

“It’s a crisis of confidence,” he told reporters during a media interview recently. His finding was confirmed by prominent Malaysian economist, Jomo Kwane Sundaram, who attributed the problem to a “confidence deficit arising from the 1MDB scandal”.

Jomo did not mince his words when he told the Edge on Thursday, December 8.

“Over the last one-and-a-half years or so, the ringgit has been steadily declining. This cannot be simply attributed to the collapse in the price of crude oil. There’re many factors behind it, including a loss of confidence in the government as more and more revelations are made about 1MDB.”

The performance of stocks is a good analogy. Trading increases when market players perceive the stocks are from well-managed entities with solid backing while the dubious ones are being shunned. That in short is what happening to our battered ringgit. And no solution is in the offing until, of course, the inevitable happens. You know what I mean.

Nilai ringgit terus jatuh kerana
‘watak utama’ skandal 1MDB masih bebas...

Will Najib call for an election
in the first quarter of 2017...

The mighty Kerbau, a formidable beast of burden, will take it's cue from anyone - even a child - anyone who has in their hands the ropes tied to the Kerbau's nose ring....for the bufflo and the child knows that the slightest of tugs on that rope will tell the Buffalo who is its master because it inflicts pain upon the animal should the Kerbau not do as it is told!

Umno and PAS have got the rural Malays the same way the mighty formidable beast of burden, the Kerbau, is got by that child.... through the nose ring of the Malays in the rural areas and at times even in the urban areas..

For the rural Malays the ring in their nose attached to the ropes held by PAS and Umno are driven by the two R's - the Ringgit and Religion in equal doses - but when push comes to shove, the ringgit is the more persuasive agent of the two R's.

The next federal election, like all the previous elections, will be fought, lost or won among the Malays in the rural areas where Umno and PAS have established an effective network of committed electoral organisers and workers who can deliver the electoral votes that PAS, Umno would need to win any general election.

Thereby lies the strength of PAS and Umno and each recognise this in the other. Yes both have alluded to the Malay and Islamic connections that holds them together. Race and Religion are really of no concern to these two. Race and religion have always been there and race and religion have never driven these two together....not then, not now and not in the future...but if race and religion can win over the rural Malays and install Umno and PAS into government - then PAS and Umno will "work" together.

Image result for umno dan kerbau pawah
Kerbau...

This time around Umno will need PAS to win the general election and in that need PAS can see that most elusive of their political dream...to be relevant at the national level. And once it is relevant at national level, then PAS can then carry their Jihad for Hudud and other Islamic values to the National level and encompass Muslim and non-Muslims into the bargain....for has not PAS declare their intent to make Malaysia and all Malaysians beholden to Hudud and Islam?

What then of Umno? For Umno, if PAS is needed to win the next general election, then Umno will make a pact with PAS. If the devil is needed for same...then it will be a pact with the devil. Damm race or religion.

For now PAS and Umno need a union of sorts to counter the opposition tsunami that has already overwhelm the urban electorates onto their side and are now making slow inroads into the rural hinterlands. But is there unity of purpose within the opposition....If PAS and Umno are together because they think the rural electorates will put them in government - what then holds the opposition together?

Does DAP want a Chinese as PM? Of course if they can they want to.

Does the DAP think that having an alliance with PKR and PPBM will get the Malays on side and make DAP a "Malaysian" political entity.....maybe yes and maybe no...but any alliance that divides the Malay can only strengthen DAP for it offers an alternative to these Malays other than what Umno and PKR can offer. The Malays who have joined DAP are not in large enough numbers to allow Kit Siang to say that DAP is "truly Malaysian" but in politics, maybe it is enough to make DAP a "truly Malaysian" political entity...maybe!

PKR without Anwar Ibrahim is like a sailing ship becalmed in a sea without any prevailing wind to take it into port.

PPBM is in reality and in fact a clone of Umno but without its worse afflictions. PPBM will also use the two R's to win the rural electorates over but it will not allow the two R's to be the reason the rural Malays will cast their votes PPBM's way. PPBM cannot match Umno in these .....and PPBM knows it is fighting a losing battle among the rural Malays who have been spoiled rotten by the dedak Umno has thrown their way.

And so here is the truth...if Najib calls an election sooner rather than later....maybe in the first quarter of 2017, he will secure victory for Umno and he will continue to be president of Umno and prime minister of Malaysia simply because Mahthir and PBBM will not be able to have their "jentera" ready in time to give Umno a run for its money.

Malaysia need an Arab Spring that created the Tsunami that saw many leadership change and regimes held accountable for the things they did in the name of government.

Malaysia need People's Power that saw Marcos driven out of power in the Philippine.

Malaysian must act in the same manner that Indonesians have acted to show their disgust and contempt for a corrupt Suharto and anything else that they feel strongly about.....the current move to oust the Governor of Jakarta is a case in point.....rightly or wrongly, those who want him ousted have been able to bring in to trial and he awaits to be judged.

And Malaysians must have the resilience of the Thai people who are prepared to demonstrated and come out onto the streets in numbers large enough and long enough, to make the change they desire for their country - at whatever cost to themselves.

Malaysians are not like the Arabs, not like the Filipinos, not like the Indonesians or the Thai people. At most they will spend a few hours on the streets of KL in support of Bersih and in the past, for Reformasi....and after the few hours are over, they go back to the comfort of their home, back to the life they are not prepared to turn upside down just to put politicians back into power or into power .....for Malaysians knows too well what all politicians do once they are in office.

Enough said. - husseinhamid-steadyaku47

Cina selamatkan Melayu yang di 'bankrap'
oleh bank 'bukan Cina'...
Story kat SINI dan SINI

Here is quite an unbelievable story.

- Auction winner gives up house
- Lee Hui Sen bid RM445,000 for house
- paid 10% deposit to Court for double-storey house.

A family still living there  could not bring himself to take house from them so he decided to forgo RM44,500 deposit, hand house back to family.

Lee’s lawyer already sent letter of vacant possession  asking  S, 47, and wife Nor, 42, to remove caveat. S declared bankrupt in 2014, default on mortgage loan.

Lee wrote to S, he decided not to continue with purchase, but paid 10% downpayment.

“I am Lee Hui Sen, the buyer of the auctioned house that you are living in now. I am sorry for buying your house and it might have made you and your family worried.  “The other day, my family and I went to your house and we saw shirts outside the house. We do not have the heart to evict you. “We will lose the money but it will go into the bank account of your house. We hope this can be of some assistance to you,” Lee wrote. He also advised S to go to the bank to restructure his loan to avoid having the house put up for auction again.  Lee also provided some feng shui tips, telling S to remove old plants and flowers at the side of the house to make the house brighter and to welcome positive energy.  “Good luck to you and your family,” Lee wrote."

Nor said she found it hard to believe when she found it in the letterbox.
“really unbelievable, miracle to get chance to rebuild our lives again”

People are fighting for so many things outside, yet this man can provide assistance for them to start anew.

S and Nor former bank officers, resigned in 2010, 2011 to focus on business  but faced financial difficulties after business floundered. “The bank really cheated us, they never told us about bankruptcy."

2014, notice of first auctionbank declared S bankrupt in July 2014 without his knowledge

This is one of those really unbelievable stories which you may only see in the movies.

A Chinese man bids for an auction property. He bids successfully. Then when he goes to inspect the property he notices that there are people still living there (the previous owners).

Out of pity he renounces his claim and even forfeits the 10% deposit he paid at the auction. A hefty RM44,500.

The lesson to be learnt here is always inspect the auction property before you bid for it.

I dont think Lee Hui Sen's kind gesture is going to help Nor and her husband S that much.  It may buy them some time with the bank but they dont have steady jobs and their business has gone bust.  If they cannot settle the instalments I think they are going to lose that house.

The second lesson to be learnt here is 'why not find out how such a kind hearted fellow like Lee Hui Sen makes a living, such that he can bid for auction properties and even forego RM44,500?'

Nor and husband S lost their business and are losing their house.

Obviously Lee Hui Sen's business is doing well and he is buying houses and even giving up RM44,500 to be forfeited.

Finally I am guessing that the bank is a 'bukan Cina' punya.

And since the Muslim Consumer Association is mentioned does it mean that it was a 'Islamic financing' type housing loan?

To AG's Chambers Putrajaya : S'pore court convicts Jho Low's ex-banker...

Ex-BSI banker Yeo Jiawei was found guilty on all four charges of witness tampering in the money-laundering case involving billions of dollars alleged to be misappropriated from Malaysian state fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

District Judge Ng Peng Hong on Wednesday (Dec 21) handed down the verdict against Yeo after a 12-day trial last month, observing that Yeo was "unreliable" and "not credible". Seven other charges against Yeo, which concern cheating, money laundering and forgery, will be dealt with next year.

The sentencing will be held on Thursday (Dec 22). The Straits Times understands that because of scale of the investigation and the nature of the offence, prosecution will likely ask for a sentence that is beyond the norm. Continue reading...

This is Singapore ok. They do not mess around. Yeo Jia Wei has been found guilty.

He can be sentenced seven years for each of the four charges. That is 28 years if he is sentenced to maximums and sentences to run consequently.

They will use this as a tool to extract more cooperation and more information from Yeo. Even ask him to turn State witness against JoLo.

The noose is tightening in Singapore. JoLo is certainly in their gunsights. If they have got THREE of the supporting villains (Yvonne, Eric Tan and Yeo so far) for sure the Singaporeans are going after JoLo.

Do you know the net result of all this? JoLo's situation is now getting more and more precarious.

His yacht was anchored in Phuket, Thailand just about when Xavier Justo was being released from a Thai prison. Obviously he is not afraid to be in Thailand. The family also has long 'business' connections with Phuket. They have contacts there.  But Xavier Justo has been released and is on his way home to Switzerland now.

So now it is JoLo who is in the spot.  A "prime minister is in deep shit" because of JoLo.

Will JoLo be allowed to be arrested and dragged to a Court in Singapore or Los Angeles or Switzerland or anywhere to spill the beans? Wouldnt that be terribly embarrassing?

Worse, what if JoLo decides to cut a deal and turn State witness against MO1 and such?  For immunity or for a lesser sentence?

These are possibilities.   It is no more a charmed life.  Life has become a curse. - ostb

Skandal 1MDB bukan saja memalukan negara kita malah sangat berbahaya.

Minta Sedekah Dari China

Baca seterusnya...

UMNO may have to give up seats for PAS...

Some Umno candidates will have to make way for PAS candidates in the upcoming general election if the Malay party and the Islamic party reach an agreement even if it is based on an unofficial cooperation.

Speaking to Berita Daily, former Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) senior lecturer Prof Ahmad Atory Hussein said that it was clear that PAS is now closer to Umno rather than its counterparts from the opposition, thus future cooperation between the two political parties should not be a surprise.

However, Atory explained that his theory depends on the shape of the agreement reached among the two parties.

“We don’t know what sort of cooperation they will have but for sure the two parties are closer to each other.

“If PAS manages to talk to Umno to allow their candidates to contest, then Umno will have to sacrifice its own candidates. This could happen in the east coast. I would take Terengganu. I guess PAS wants to be the majority in the state.

“The second theory is when Pakatan Harapan is contesting against BN, PAS will enter and will make it a three-cornered fight… which we all know will benefit Umno. My take on this is on DAP’s seat,” he said.

Atory also took note on how PAS reacted to Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) president Muhyiddin Yassin’s offer of an olive branch to help mend the Islamic party’s relationship with DAP and Amanah.

“If you look how PAS responded, you can see why they are close to Umno now. If I am Muhyiddin, I would be upset because PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim (Tuan Man) snubbed him completely by saying that there will be no talks with DAP and Amanah.

“The comment from PAS could have been more moderate. It was a joint ‘ceramah’ and it should have not been answered in that manner,” Atory added.

Recently, Muhyiddin told PAS during a ceramah that his party was willing to become the mediator to fix the relationship between PAS, Amanah and DAP.

However, PAS declined to accept the offer, saying that the Islamic party would never work with Amanah and DAP as the two parties had been slandering PAS on a number of occasions after it had quit Pakatan Rakyat.

Amanah on the other hand had previously said that it was ready to work with PAS but on certain conditions.

DAP has yet to issue any statement on the political cooperation between the party and PAS. - beritadaily
