Baca seterusnya...

Berapa lagi model Mongolia
perlu kita kebumikan...

- mk

I was sidelined for blowing whistle on 1MDB bank scandal

Tan Sri IGP is a civil servant officer in charge. What he has said is in the order of those who are powerful or influential. The question is that person?

The reason is that Tan Sri IGP does not dare to make such statements as damp and dumb without the instructions and instructions.

The Media Statement by Tan Sri IGP was carefully written - or 'by the book' - according to the facts given to him.

But since the facts given to the IGP are hardly acceptable to the public for many reasons then it is common to find that the IGP Media Statement is weird and awkward.

So it is not surprising that Tan Sri Rais Yatim, an Advisor to the Barisan Nasional Kleptocrat Government of the Minister, did not believe that the creature of JoLo was not involved in the case of fraud and theft at 1MDB.

The following is a section from the online referring to Rais Yatim:

I was told that Tan Sri Rais Yatim should have resigned as an Advisor to the Kleptocrat Government at the end of 2017. He had been "fed up" with the Kleptocrats who tried to deceive and deceive the people of morning and afternoon, day and night. Perhaps he has decided to remain in office until the end of the Kleptocrat Kingdom's legitimacy which will end this year.

UMNO SHAKES – RAIS YATIM DROPS BOMB ON NAJIB’S HEAD: JHO LOW WANTED IN 8 COUNTRIES OVER STOLEN 1MDB BILLIONS – WILL MORE IN UMNO, SICKENED BY THE SCALE OF CORRUPTION, STAND UP TO KLEPTOCRAT NAJIB?

- a.kadir jasin

Some Strange Points About That CID
Chief And His Money In Australia...

1. Firstly since he does not wish to claim back his money (about RM900,000 ??) from the Australian prosecutor on the excuse that the legal costs (of going to Court in Australia) may be more than the amount of RM900,000 then may I suggest that he assign away that money to some other people? (I know some mamak moneychangers who can assist in this matter). But of course there will be some "con" -sultan fees involved. Mamak can turn a world not based on charity alone. I am positive the legal costs to recover that money will be much, much less than RM900,000.

Also, if the CID Boss has not done any wrong, then he will win the case and the Australian Court will not only refund ALL HIS MONEY but they will also award him full legal costs plus they may also award him some damages. Maybe he can get another RM1 million in damages from the Australian government !!

2. But here is the first question. There are hundreds of thousands of foreign students studying in Australia. Do all the parents of foreign students studying in Australia send money to pay university fees for their children through "54 separate deposits from FIVE different states inside Australia" ? So what is so special about your case? Do you remember we're all stupid?

3. University fees in Australia are indeed expensive. A medical degree in Australia has cost more than RM1.0 million. Maybe RM2.0 million. So how many bank accounts of any parents (local or foreigners) have the Australian government seized or frozen who are simply using their bank accounts to pay university fees for their children studying in Australia?

4. If the Australian government harrasses, seizes money or freezes the bank accounts of foreign parents who genuinely wish to pay the university fees of their children studying in Australia, then how are the parents of foreign students in Australia going to send money to their children at all?

5. All over the world, many parents sell their houses and assets to fund their childrens' education overseas, including in Australia. The Australians do not classify that as money laundering. The question is why do the Australians classify your case (of selling your house and remitting the sales proceeds) as money laundering AND THEN SEIZE your money? Why? Why? Why?

6. What is so special about your case? What's wrong with the money, the money hangs right? Your money smells of shit so badly that they had to freeze your account, seize your money and clean your money with detergent? Do you remember we're all stupid?

7. Why did the CID chief go ALL THE WAY TO AUSTRALIA TO open an account in Australia, ALL BY HIMSELF, in his own name just to pay for his son's university fees. Do you remember we're all stupid?

Just ask your son to open a bank account in Australia and you can remit the money to your son from any bank in Malaysia. There is no penalty, fine or tax for parents from all over the world to remit money to their children studying in Australia.

Just go to Maybank, CIMB, AmBank etc, fill up the forms, pay the money over the counter or do "account transfer" and TT the money to your son in Australia. What is so difficult?

If you say that you were trying to avoid suffering a higher Forex rate for changing Ringgit to Aussie Dollar then your cost of flying personally to Australia, paying for hotel etc will have incurred more money than any savings you may have made in the e xchange rate . Do you remember we're all stupid?

When we were studying in the US, my wife and I had a normal current account at the local bank (Sooner Federal). Our folks would just TT the money into the account. Or we would receive bank drafts. Still worked. What's so difficult? Wa aakhirul kalam: Can you give us a better story? - ostb

The stupidity of this man astounds me. This is no ordinary eye eye. He's not a Lance Corporal, a Sergeant, a Sergeant Major or a sub-Inspector. He is ranks higher then a Superintendent he is the creme de la creme among the gazetted officers in the rarefied level of Commissioners. And he heads the number one of the police departments: the Criminal Investigation Department a post, I am proud to say, was once helped by my late father, Hamid Latiff.

Wan Ahmad is head of a Police Department for the whole of Malaysia a potential IGP though given his present situation, I am sure Najib has earmarked him to be the next IGP for the Idiot surely wants another Idiot in the Police Force to do his bidding!

We all know about the seizure of his RM 1 million from his bank account in Australia. I have lived in Australia for over thirty years and the Australian Government does not go around seizing other peoples money especially money belonging to a very senior police officer from Malaysia without a good reason.

So you and me can be rest assured that not only is this Wan Ahmad 99.999% guilty of money laundering or whatever it is that the Aussie are accusing him of doing he will NOT get his money back no matter what lawyer he uses. Yes, not even that Lawyer who thinks that "the sun rises to greet me every morning" who went looking into Saiful Anus for greatness not even that Lawyer can get Wan Ahmad his money back.

So Wan Ahmad told himself forget the money and save himself the embarrassment of having to stand up in court in Australia to try and get back the money he can never get back.Big Mistake!

He failed to see that forfeiting the money will be more embarrassment to him, the IGP, PDRM, DPM and of course the PM!

So what does he do? He back flips and says he now wants his money which only does two things to him. One, confirms to all of us that he is an idiot. Two, ensures that Najib has already decided that he will NOT be the next IGP. - steadyaku47

- mk

Bagaimana beli kapal guna duit 1MDB kalau tiada wang hilang?

Bagaimana kapal layar mewah Equanimity dikatakan dibeli dengan dana 1MDB jika syarikat itu sendiri berkata mereka tidak hilang wang, soal Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Razali Ibrahim.

“Kalau 1MDB kata duit dia tak hilang, macam mana orang boleh tuduh beli bot pakai duit 1MDB,” kata Razali .

Aku pula tanya kau Razali.

- David Lee

1MDB kena bayar hutang berbilion dolar tu buat apa?

- Suriani Abd

Razali then why is that our gov is paying billions in debt to IPIC? 1MDB lost 40 billion. Where did the money go? Why have you to act so stupid? Tuanku is cheezed off with dungus like you. - kamalappans

If there is no money missing from 1MDB why do we have a "rationalisation scheme"? Why are we selling state land to China in Malacca , Port Kelang, Pulau Pinang, Kuantan and Johore and putting that money in the 1 MDB account? The criminal who took the money is allowed to keep his money. - AliTanApu

The battle for Selangor -
Advantage to Azmin or...

Last year, the Selangor state government led by the Pakatan Harapan coalition banned free plastic bags and polystyrene food packs to protect the environment. And what’s the Barisan Nasional’s response a year on? To bring back free plastic bags for groceries if the coalition wins Selangor in the 14th general election (GE14). Hence free plastic bags will be in the BN manifesto come GE14. That undertaking comes from Selangor BN information chief Datuk Mohd Satim Diman.

That’s not the only election-flavoured promise, of course. Noticing the agitation among fans of the Red Giants, the well-loved state football team that cannot access the Shah Alam stadium following a tiff between the Football Association of Selangor and the state administration, BN has pledged that the Red Giants, which counts mostly young people among its supporters, can get back in the stadium if the coalition wins Selangor.

Trivial issues? Laughable even? In particular, the free plastic bag gesture that is causing more than a chuckle among Selangor folk. But that’s just to show how serious (or should it be how desperate?) BN is to wrest control of Selangor, the richest state in the country. Hence the big question — can they do it? Or will the current administration continue to govern, frustrating BN yet again?

The BN poser

So can BN win? Well, it all depends on who you ask. You don’t have to be a political scientist to know that it will take more than promises of free plastic bags and usage of the Shah Alam stadium to topple the state government. Surely the BN knows that. Hence they are ready with a manifesto which will have lots to offer, mainly development and goodies.

Still, the first thing BN, and particularly Umno, needs to do is put its house in order. Take the issue of party factions. This is an issue despite assurances by deputy Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi that there are no more “warlords” in the party. According to Ahmad Zahid, “Now we don’t have camps. Only Umno.” But observers say otherwise. The so-called warlords are still there and still calling the shots. Apparently, they still have the trust of the national leadership, despite being unpopular then and unpopular now as well.

When BN lost the state in the 2008 general election, the coalition and, especially, Umno, pinned the blame on then menteri besar Dr Khir Toyo, much to the chagrin of his loyalists. When one is MB, one will have a substantial number of loyalists. Still, the dentist-turned-politician accepted the blame.

However, the blame game has not stopped. Umno leaders in Selangor are still pointing accusing fingers at the former menteri besar. Khir is not amused. He has hit back, saying that BN’s performance in GE13 in 2013 “was worse than during my time in 2008”. His band of supporters (yes, they are still around although Khir is ineligible for public office following his jail sentence for corruption) are now saying that their boss has been blamed “just to find a scapegoat and hide the current leaders’ own weaknesses” in not being able to win back Selangor in 2013.

Observers who spoke to The Edge opined that the continuous blaming of Khir “is not a wise thing to do” as this means that talk of a united Umno will just remain “talk”. This is not to say that Khir is still a force to be reckoned with, but “a politician who has been at the top should not be brushed aside, whether he is politically active or not”. There can be repercussions, they said. Just how serious the fallout will be, the observers, who chose not to be identified, are not willing to say.

Khir apart, the observers are also asking the same question they have been asking for years. Just who will be menteri besar should BN win, ask Umno insiders. The current leaders hogging the limelight in Selangor are finding it hard to be accepted even among Umno members, what more the populace. They include Selangor Umno chief Tan Sri Noh Omar and Datuk Zein Isma, a senior leader in the state.

One name being bandied around is Budiman Mohd Zohdi, the state assemblyman for Sungai Panjang and MP for Sungai Besar. Yet, to say that Budiman is the overwhelming favourite is stretching it a bit too far. In a nutshell, as it is, BN has yet to find the right candidate to be its poster boy for the MB’s post — one who is popular, accepted by the rakyat and winnable. And that is a problem.

Still, some Umno insiders tell The Edge that this can be sorted out when “we win the election”, claiming they are confident of getting Malay support. Needless to say, in this election, getting a slice of Malay voters, and a major one at that, will be of utmost importance in ensuring victory. The Umno insiders talk without elaboration about securing Malay support not only in the rural but semi-urban or even urban areas, using Shah Alam as an example.

Shah Alam, the capital of Selangor, is predominantly Malay. Quite a number of its residents come from Kelantan. Some of them go back to their home state to vote. Some are registered voters in Selangor. At the last outing in 2013, a majority of them voted for Khalid Samad, who was then a prominent PAS leader. Khalid is now in Amanah, a party that was formed by a splinter group from PAS.

Now that PAS is no more in the Pakatan fold, could this be the reason for Umno to feel confident of doing well even in Shah Alam? The insiders are not saying. Unfortunately, to win Malay votes, Umno could very well exploit the card of race and religion, no matter that it may be divisive politics. No comments from the Umno camp.

However, to win Malay votes, some observers say Umno will form a pact with PAS. That is still not clear at this juncture. Just as an Umno-PAS tie-up appeared to be taking shape, we got an “explosive” barrage putting the parties at loggerheads and pulling them apart.

“It’s just a lot of talk and wayang kulit now,” according to an old friend who follows politics keenly. Whatever it is, that brings us to the next element in the equation.

 The PAS factor

At some point along the way, PAS had positioned itself as a kingmaker, meaning that it was much-needed by any party with the ambition of ruling Selangor. Even Malaysia, for that matter. Then, it went on to act as if it wanted to rule the country, Selangor included, and on its own. Never mind that the numbers do not add up as far as the number of seats it has won is concerned.

Earlier on, there was also even talk of PAS assemblymen crossing over to Pakatan Harapan. It must be said this has never been verified independently and has remained “speculation”. And despite my old friend’s assertion that shadowy stuff is at play, it is best not to conclude anything now with regards to a cooperation of sorts between PAS and Umno at the state level.

As it is, the possibility that PAS may be involved in three-cornered fights, that is, against BN and Pakatan Harapan (in particular Amanah), looks real. For now, a piece written by veteran journalist Zainal Epi for The Malay Mail Online recently comes to mind.

According to Zainal, now that Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali has finally rejected any cooperation with PAS, the BN has “sharpened its knives sensing the opening that has presented itself”.

As he sees it, Azmin’s move will have “major repercussions for the MB and Pakatan Harapan’s hope of retaining Selangor”, going on to say that “without PAS and its formidable election machinery — or any chance of avoiding multi-cornered fights — Azmin’s hold on the state is now shaky”.

Prime Minister and Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s former political secretary Dr Oh Ei Sun has this to add: “If PAS comes out as third party candidates, this will benefit BN as PAS will mainly split Pakatan’s votes”. Oh is now a political analyst.

But the Selangor menteri besar’s strategic communications director Yin Shao Loong takes a different view. PAS’ electoral position in Selangor, he says, is “precarious since many of the seats they won in 2013 were in ethnically mixed constituencies that were won with the moral endorsement of the rest of the then Pakatan Rakyat coalition”.

To Yin, “the usual assumption that PAS wins seats solely on Malay support doesn’t apply. This also explains the more moderate stance taken by Selangor PAS compared to its national leadership. Their state leaders are well aware that they are serving mixed constituents.” Yin notes that “mid-last year, PAS state leaders from the west coast states wanted autonomy to negotiate state-level pacts with their former coalition partners in the new Pakatan”. They knew, said Yin, that “their political survival depended on it”.

True. Come to think of it, whatever happened to their “requests”? But I suppose all that is now water under the bridge. Over time, they too, like their national leaders, had “hurt the feelings” of many non-Malay/Muslim voters, a majority of whom are urban dwellers, with their, well, should I say antics?

Oh admits that non-Malays are “still with Pakatan except some millennials who may want to punish Pakatan for not being gung ho enough against the BN”. Thus, according to Oh, they may be “handing BN victory by not voting”.

The Azmin Ali factor

To Azmin’s detractors, he is a man in a hurry, too ambitious and shrewd. He is a political animal. But both friend and foe concede that “he is a good MB”. Hence, the BN strategy to launch a blistering assault, painting him as “not a good leader”. Perhaps this has been “aided” by the likes of Datuk Seri Jamal Yunus, the leader of the Red Shirts Malay rights group, and Azwan Ali, the MB’s own brother. Thus far, attacks by the duo somehow have not gained traction.

As for Azmin’s policies, quite a number are well accepted by the people of Selangor. BN is doubly fast to “point out” that Azmin is merely “copying BN’s policies”. Nevertheless, the Peduli Rakyat Initiative is a winner that can put BN in a difficult position when it comes with its bag of goodies for the rakyat this election.

Based on past results, the state government has a grip on urban as well as rural areas, at least in most constituencies. Furthermore, Azmin has tightened that grip since replacing Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim as MB. Still, it must be said that he had his share of problems within his own party, PKR, and within Pakatan Harapan, in particular, with the way he dealt with PAS before deciding to cut off ties with the party.

In the words of a Pakatan insider: “Yes, it’s sad and bad but that’s the reality we must face. We must persevere and Azmin will have to put all that behind and move on”. In an election, incumbency brings added advantages. In this case, the Azmin Ali administration is the incumbent. - theedgemarkets

2. “Mereka ini kena patuh Perlembagaan dan undang-undang . Mereka bukan Raja Mutlak  saperti  Raja-Raja Arab . Rakyat yang meletakkan mereka di situ”.

3. Saya tersentak melihat wajah serius dan kata-kata tegas ayah saya, Pak Ghafar (arwah Tun )  apabila Dr. Mahathir ( Tun ) menelefon beliau memaklumkan hasratnya  tidak mahu meneruskan cadangan meminda Perlembagaan Negara berhubung kuasa Raja-Raja.

4. Ketika itu Pak Ghafar ialah Pengerusi Kompleks Kewangan yang juga salah seorang Naib Presiden UMNO.

Kita semua bukan maksum.

15. Rakyat jelata mula marah diatas keenganan Raja-Raja memberi persetujuan. Perhimpunan demi perhimpunan membantah sikap Raja-Raja telah diadakan.

- Tamrin Tun Ghafar

Reclaim money,if it's indeed 'clean'
Wan Ahmad is no country bumpkin...

Sepang MP Hanipa Maidin has challenged Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department (CID) director Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd to reclaim his RM971,800 seized by the Australian authorities by engaging in court action if it indeed is "clean money".

In a statement today, the Amanah lawmaker said it was insufficient for inspector-general of police Mohamad Fuzi Harun to exonerate his colleague by claiming they had evidence that the money was raised by selling Wan Ahmad's house in Shah Alam to fund his children's education in Australia.

"I pity the IGP. He appears to be very naive; as naive as leaders from the 'holy party'.

"If it is indeed clean money, why did the CID director refuse to reclaim it from Australia by engaging a lawyer there, and tender the evidence? This is the (right) way, IGP," Hanipa said.

Not reclaiming the rightful ownership of the seized fund was as "strange" as those who said there is no proof that luxury yacht Equanimity belongs to businessperson Jho Low, when Low himself had condemned the seizure as an overreach, Hanipa added.

"Lastly, showing evidence is not enough, dear IGP. The evidence must be duly tested in Australia, through an application to reclaim the RM971,800. Only then, your defence will be reasonable, IGP.

"Another thing, don't think only you have evidence, for the Australian police may have more evidence. Allah knows best," Hanipa added.

Australian newspaper Sydney Morning Herald had last week, reported that the Sydney bank account of Wan Ahmad (photo above), which contained the close to RM1 million in funds, was frozen, alleging it was proceeds of crime or laundered money.

Wan Ahmad has said that he does not intend to reclaim the money as court action in Australia would be too expensive.

‘No country bumpkin’

Bukit Gelugor MP Ramkarpal Singh, meanwhile, criticised Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (photo) for saying that Wan Ahmad was possibly ignorant of Australian law, which requires sums over A$10,000 to be declared.

“What is Zahid’s message to the world here? Is he saying that one of the country’s most senior police officers was ignorant of the law, and that its OK that he was?” the DAP lawmaker asked.

“Wan Ahmad is no country bumpkin who might be forgiven for being ignorant of the law. He is the CID director of Bukit Aman, and must surely have knowledge of such elementary accounting procedure and practice in Australia.

“Even a student opening an account for the first time in Australia would have been advised of the same,” he added.

Ramkarpal also questioned why Australian authorities were still investigating the matter if such a simple explanation could absolve Wan Ahmad of any liability, as it did here.

“It is unlikely that the said authorities will cease such investigations merely because Zahid is satisfied with Wan Ahmad’s explanation, or that he had been cleared by Bukit Aman in an internal probe,” he said.

Yesterday, the DAP lawmaker took issue with the MACC stating that it would wait for a report to be lodged on the matter before launching an investigation.

He said the ongoing probe being conducted by Australian police was enough for the commission to commence its own. - mk

I believe that the DPM and the IGP should not be doing what they are doing.  This sets a very bad example to the public.  What if someone else ( a common man) goes to them with the same story, would the two top people in the country also say that that person was naive too? The Australian Police are not going to be cowed by these denials and if one day soon they are going to look for the CID Chief, what is going to be the IGP's and DPM's  responses?  Be brave and let the Aussies carry out their investigations.  After all, if the CID Chief's story is true, why the denials at this stage? - Worried Sick

If the money confiscated by the Australian authorities is legitimate hard-earned money, it will be natural to try to recover the money. Conversely, it will be most unnatural for one to forgo such a huge sum so easily without a fight. Wan Ahmad is CID chief, not someone naive with investigative methods and procedures. Therefore, he is in a better position than many people to recover the money, as he would surely know how to argue his case to recover the confiscated money. Is someone compensating Wan Ahmad for the loss of his money? If so, what would be the reason or reasons for this person to be so kind and so generous to Wan Ahmad? - Hibiscus

Malaysians must be very well off. First, we refuse to claim RM400 million from the Swiss. Then we refuse to claim the Equanimity or indeed, any of the assets which amount to billions being seized by the DOJ, even thought both governments are adamant that it's our money. Even a wage earner like the CID director can easily forgo RM1 million. Just like that. I am a Malaysian but looking at all these news make me think they must be living in a different country from me. Even if an Australian lawyer cost RM800k, I would still have a balance of almost RM200k to recover. That is a huge sum of money for me. But what do I know, I am not a wage earner like the CID director. - Anonymous 2413471460628504

Dr.M ceramah di atas lori pick-up...

Image may contain: 3 people, people on stage

Bukanlah niat saya nak jadi perdana menteri sekali lagi, dah cukup dah 22 tahun.

“Kerana bos mereka Najib Razak mengajar polis supaya tekan rakyat bukan lawan musuh negara.”

Mohamad berkata, ketenteraman program PH malam tadi diganggu pihak polis.

- malaysianinsight

Rafidah : How could I track down 'Equanimity and took pics when IGP,Apandi could not...

Former cabinet minister Rafidah Aziz said she had found the exact location of Jho Low’s super yacht, The Equanimity, while on a diving trip in Phuket last year.

In a Facebook post today, she lamented how the Malaysian authorities could not find the yacht, if mere divers like her could find it.

“I was reading with much dismay the stories about the mega yacht having been impounded by the Indonesian authorities in Bali. What happened to our own enforcement authorities?

“Did we never bother to actually track and find the yacht? Or are there some more horror scandals yet to be uncovered behind the yacht? Ada udang di sebalik batu (There is a hidden agenda),” she said in the post.

The Equanimity, belonging to Jho Low or Low Taek Jho, who had been linked to the 1Malaysia Development Bhd scandal, was seized in Bali last Wednesday by Indonesian authorities working with the United States Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).

Low, said to be Prime Minister Najib Razak’s confidante and business advisor, had himself issued a statement via a spokesman criticising the US Justice Department (DoJ) of “global overreach” in the seizure. The RM1 billion yacht was alleged to be purchased using funds siphoned from the Malaysian sovereign fund.

Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak said there was no proof that funds from 1Malaysia Development Bhd were used to purchase the vessel.

It prompted ridicule from Pakatan Harapan prime minister designate Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who said that the minister seemed to know more than Jho Low about the yacht’s ownership.

“(Salleh) said the yacht did not belong to Jho Low. But Jho Low said it was his. Salleh Keruak knows Jho Low better than Jho Low himself,” Dr Mahathir said yesterday.

The DoJ has launched a criminal investigation into the alleged siphoned funds and has sought to delay civil suits filed in the past two years to forfeit over US$1 billion (RM3.9 billion) in real estate and other assets.

Rafidah, who was the international trade minister in former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s cabinet, said the Malaysian government must appear inefficient and “impotent in the eyes of the world out there” for failing to find the famous yacht within the region.

She said she had located The Equanimity using the AIS (automatic identification system) on her instructor’s boat.

“I myself piloted the boat to exactly where The Equanimity was at sea. I personally took photos and videos of the boat at very close range, including its ultra luxurious tender (small boat) at the marina in Phuket later that night.

“We, mere divers, were able to do that. How could our authorities not? With all their gadgetry and supposedly global information network?”

In her f/book posting she wrote...

IN FACT...While on a diving trip EXACTLY A YEAR AGO , in Thailand, we were easily able to pinpoint EQUANIMITY’s exact location using our boat’s AIS (Automatic Identification System)..and I myself piloted my Instructor's boat , TO EXACTLY WHERE THE ‘EQUANIMITY’ WAS AT SEA..and I PERSONALLY TOOK PHOTOS AND VIDEOS of the ‘EQUANIMITY’ AT REALLY VERY CLOSE RANGE..INCLUDING ITS ULTRA-LUXURIOUS TENDER (small boat), AT THE MARINA IN PHUKET LATER THAT NIGHT.

We were told by some people at the marina that ‘EQUANIMITY’ was anchored offshore and the owner/guests usually come onshore at night in the cover of darkness.

That night, we were told that the owner was celebrating Valentine’s day in PHUKET town with his guests!

WE..MERE DIVERS ..WERE ABLE TO DO THAT!! AND OUR AUTHORITIES COULD NOT? WITH ALL THEIR GADGETRY...AND SUPPOSEDLY GLOBAL INFORMATION NETWORK ?

THEN..someone said there’s ‘NO PROOF’ that the said owner owns the vessel.. REALLY ?

PLEASE..let us NOT make the world see us as a basket case...WE DON’T DESERVE TO BE SHAMED as we have been ..with all the Malaysian kleptocracy scandals which are being addressed, very expeditiously and effectively, in the US, Australia, Middle East, Switzerland, Singapore, just to name a few countries...

People have been jailed, Companies fined and barred from operating, properties and assets impounded, even gifts from ill-gotten gifts have been returned by those who DO NOT want to be linked to this INFAMOUS YACHT OWNER..

WHAT MORE do people in authority NEED to be CREDIBLY TAKING ACTION..for the SAKE OF RAKYAT AND NATION ?

OR have many become the people in Hans Christian Anderson’s ‘THE EMPEROR’S NEW CLOTHES’?

Image may contain: ocean, outdoor and water

Rafidah also posted three photos of the super yacht and the smaller tender boat.

“Then, someone said there was no proof that the said owner owned the vessel,” she said, referring to Salleh Said Keruak’s remark that there was no evidence that Low owned the yacht.”

Rafidah said people at the marina told her party that the super yacht was anchored offshore while its owner and guests went ashore at night to celebrate Valentine’s Day in town.

The retired minister said Malaysians did not deserved to be shamed in this way, while other countries like the US, Middle East, Switzerland, and Singapore had taken action in relation to the 1MDB scandal.

“People have been jailed, companies fined and barred from operating, properties and assets impounded, and even gifts from ill-gotten gains have been returned by those who do not want to be linked to the infamous yacht owner.

“What other actions do the authorities need to credibly take for the sake of the people and nation? The country must come first,” she said.

Rafidah said it would perhaps take another foreign country to add the finishing pieces to the 1MDB scandal, as some in Malaysia seemed “to be living on a different planet”.

Second Finance Minister Johari Abdul Ghani reportedly said the government did not know what would happen to The Equanimity after its seizure, as it was not a property of Malaysia -
