Makan free punya pasai,isu2 skandal habaih melayang...

“Mereka menuduh saya mengabaikan Tuhan.

Dr M: Only an idiot will believe
I can influence the DOJ...

1. I’m proud because someone said I can get order the United States Department of Justice to do something. If I can order an agency of the American government, the culprits would have been arrested a long time ago and charged for stealing billions of dollars.  The punishment they deserve would have been meted out long ago.

2. Unfortunately I am just a former Prime Minister of Malaysia who has no teeth, no influence and too away from the powers of corridor to be able to direct any government agency of the United States, or even a Malaysian government agency.

3. What the United States Department of Justice does is act on those involved with money laundering in the United States, not in Malaysia. The law on money-laundering in the United States is extremely tight, unlike in Malaysia, where the government is satisfied if the RM2.6 billion in the Prime Minister’s personal account is said to be an Arab donation. The parties who were questioned don’t even acknowledge it is an offence to money launder so much money.

4. The DoJ’s detailed and precise accusations include the pink diamond given by Jho Low to the wife of Malaysian Official 1 (who is the Prime Minister following the acknowledgment of BN’s Strategic Communications Director, who is also Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Abdul Rahman Dahlan),  who is Rosmah Mansor .

5. Jho Low and Riza Aziz should go to the United States to counter the charges of stealing 1MDB money. But they did not dare. The Malay adage says, “brave because it is true, afraid because it is wrong.” They hide in China and Malaysia. At the same time it becomes a confirmation that all charges of the DoJ are true.

6. A beautiful Australian woman, (Miranda Kerr) and actor Leonardo DiCaprio have returned the gifts given to them by Jho Low. When will Rosmah and other corrupt recipients in Malaysia return the money stolen from 1MDB, to Malaysians. But they are thick-skinned, shameless. When accused of stealing, all of them, Najib and UMNO leaders, just smile.

7. Therefore, they implicate me, a person without power, of having the ability to order a superpower like the US to make a false report against Najib, who moreover is a friend of Obama and counts Trump as a golf partner.

8. Only the stupid will believe. Effective is the bran (bribe) that is being stuffed into the ears, eyes and mouths by Najib, king of cash. - chedet

Warning From US Secretary of State
to 1Malaysia...

Press Statement
Rex W. Tillerson
Secretary of State
Washington, DC
July 4, 2017

The United States strongly condemns North Korea's launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile. Testing an ICBM represents a new escalation of the threat to the United States, our allies and partners, the region, and the world.

Global action is required to stop a global threat.

Any country that hosts North Korean guest workers, provides any economic or military benefits, or fails to fully implement UN Security Council resolutions is aiding and abetting a dangerous regime.

All nations should publicly demonstrate to North Korea that there are consequences to their pursuit of nuclear weapons. We intend to bring North Korea's provocative action before the UN Security Council and enact stronger measures to hold the DPRK accountable.

The United States seeks only the peaceful denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and the end of threatening actions by North Korea. As we, along with others, have made clear, we will never accept a nuclear-armed North Korea.

The President and his national security team are continuing to assess the situation in close coordination with our allies and partners.

Well after the assasination of that Kim Sum Ting fellow at the KLIA, Malaysia has now begun imposing visas on North Koreans. Too late.

Before this no visa was required for North Koreans.  There were hundreds if not thousands of North Koreans inside our country.  (News is they have now all left Malaysia). This is what happens if we treat our own country like a tong sampah - where all the trash from all over the world is allowed to come and stay here.

As a result what do we get? Endless trouble. You allow North Koreans into Malaysia without visas and what happens? They send their assassins here and killed that Kim Sun Ting fellow at the KLIA. (By the way what has happened to the case? Is Bukit Aman too tied up with all the Ops Gopi leaks that are now coming out in Sarawak Report? Sudah mati akal? Dont know what to do in the office now?)

You allow Zakir Naik into the country and what happens? All the religious psychos got excited and started behaving weird. It has only caused so much controbersy. Now Zakir Naik (who is banned from the UK, US and other countries for terrorism links) is under threat of arrest and prosecution in India.

Malaysia is a tong sampah.

We just returned from nine days in Italy. We flew from KLIA to Abu Dhabi then to Rome. Exact opposite on the way back. From Abu Dhabi to Rome we saw all normal people (Arabs, Indians, Chinese, Asians, Europeans) headed towards Rome.

On the return trip from Abu Dhabi to Kuala Lumpur we saw all types of beardos, Arab burka-ninjas, hantus and religious psychos boarding the flight. There were many of those psycho beardo types, with their huge bushy beards, dirty jubahs and long skirts, white skull caps, above ankle pajamas and sleeping gowns.

While boarding the flight in Abu Dhabi, one Arab fellow with a huge bushy beard, dirty sleeping gown type dress and white skull cap created a big fuss with the air hostesses. He said that the seating arrangement separated him from his wife and two kids. So he wanted the other passengers on the plane  to switch seats so that he could sit together with his family !! Punyalah kurang ajar.

These are the followers of a satanic religion who think they have more rights than other human beings. The moron came and harrassed a Chinese family if they could switch seats with him! They replied they were also a family and wanted to sit together.

Then he asked my son who said the same thing. We had booked our flight tickets a few months ago and even picked our seating arrangements (all done online). The fellow is now traipsing around Kuala Lumpur. We allow all sorts of this trash into our country.  Malaysia is the tong sampah international. - ostb

Bullying, a recurring problem...

The months of May and June will remain etched in our memories, as they amplified a tragically phenomenal development in our youths – bullying. A cowardly act that had resulted in the untimely death of two youngsters in the prime of their youth. The expectations of the deceased’s parents, their relatives and friends were dashed when the duo died without regaining  consciousness after being brutalised by their own friends.

Both died on hospital beds, not somewhere more comforting, and neither lived long enough to experience the joy of adulthood. How they ended up in hospitals, at extreme ends of the peninsula, one in Serdang and the other in Penang, is a story worth telling and the reasons worth examining.

Zulfarhan Osman Zulkarnain, 21, was a naval cadet undergoing training at the National Defence University Malaysia. The campus, incidentally, is located within the 200-acre Royal Military College in Sungei Besi, Kuala Lumpur. It is the very place where I received my military training in the late 1960s.

The Royal Military College has been around since 1952. It was then known as the Federation Military College and was located at 5th Mile, Port Dickson where the Army Academy now stands. In 1961, the college was moved to its present site in Sungei Besi cantonment.

This institution provides secondary education and basic military training for potential army officers. Navy and air force cadets were trained in Dartmouth and Cranwell, UK respectively. The Royal Military College is our equivalent of the renowned, Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, in England.

The need to provide better qualified officers for an expanding armed forces necessitated the formation of a new wing – the Armed Forces Academy – it was established in 1995. In 2006 the academy became a full-fledged university. That was how the National Defence University Malaysia came into existence. Essentially, it is a tri-service military academy that provides military and tertiary education for junior officers of the army, navy and air force.

I am often asked if ragging is prevalent at RMC and in military establishments. I will be lying if I say otherwise. It does happen. Its intensity and frequency, however, is dependent upon the officer-in-charge.

We were ragged at RMC by our seniors but took things in our strides as we knew our turn would come. Things turned ugly when one of our juniors decided to report our activities to the commandant. He provided photographic evidence (smartphone was unknown then) and the culprits, including yours truly, were duly punished for our shenanigans. It stopped for a while but continued years later.

Although I disapprove of ragging, it is an important aspect of an officer’s upbringing. It instils in him the strength to withstand hardships and make him a well-rounded person. I speak for myself after having endured physical deprivation and mental anguish as a greenhorn joining a military outfit.

You will be shouted at and be told to do things you never expected. But it is all in the game, and how well you take it depends on your resolve. Ragging, in essence, made me a man. And I say the same of my juniors, subordinates and students who are in positions of authority in the army today.

When I was an instructor at the Officer Cadet School in Port Dickson (1979 to 1982) ragging took place in my battalion, but it was supervised. None of my cadets complained when being bundled up in the night and forced to take a dip in the sea, dressed in combat gears.

In the case of Zulfarhan, I suspect supervision was poor or perhaps non-existent. I wonder how his tormentors could take him out of the college grounds for treatment at a clinic in Bangi and kept him away for an extended period of time. Something is very wrong with the institution’s security system.

My guess is, the huge number of students, in excess of 2500, prevents the university’s authority from exercising complete control, unlike during my time. A board of inquiry, surprisingly, was never convened within the required 21-day period, as stipulated in Army Act 1972. This is gross negligence, and the culprits should be made to answer.

Poor Nhaveen, 18, on the other hand, was tortured and brutalised for being what he was – an effeminate kid on the block. You cannot change someone’s sexual orientation. And those who feel that to be a man one must be macho and gung-ho, you are wrong. Both the attributes have nothing to do with being a man.

I can’t say much about bullying, as I didn’t experience such inconvenience during my formative years. Perhaps, I was not the skinny type who is constantly taunted and teased by his schoolmates. Size matters, and being a strapping six-footer, while in secondary school, I was left pretty much to myself. Nevertheless, bullying was not something common during my years in school. - Fathol Zaman Bukhari,Ipoh Echo.

Tetapi, mereka memahaminya. Pengumuman itu menunjukkan bahawa Anwar negarawan, bukannya sekadar ahli politik.

Namun, Anwar tetap calon PM nombor satu PH.

Ini kerana saya menulis dua buah buku tentangnya: Politik Baru: Mematangkan Demokrasi Malaysia (2008) dan New Politics 2.0: Multiracial and Moderate Malaysian Democracy (2017).

Selanjutnya, Loh dan Saravanamuttu membahaskan pandangannya tentang Politik Baru dalam dua buah buku mereka. Pada 2009, Loh menulis Old vs New Politics in Malaysia: State and Society in Transition.

Manakala John L Esposito, Tamara Sonn dan John 0 Voll (Ed.) dalam bukunya, Islam and Democracy after the Arab Spring (2016) menyatakan “politik baru, iaitu gelombang keempat demokrasi menjadi kemungkinan global melalui perkembangan Arab Spring”.

PM's aide confirms conspiracy
to ban DAP from GE14...

Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's press secretary has inadvertently confirmed plans to have DAP banned prior to the next election, said one of the party's lawmakers.

Kluang MP Liew Chin Tong said Tengku Sariffuddin Tengku Ahmad (pix above) did this when he raised a poser about whether DAP can use its logo in the next general election.

"Inadvertently, Tengku Sariffuddin’s statement has also confirmed the thinking of Najib's inner circle that the embattled prime minister’s game plan is indeed to ban DAP just before the next general election," Liew said in a statement today.

DAP's status as a party is reportedly in limbo, after its 2012 party election was disputed due to irregularities.

Uncertainty over DAP's status caused the party to face a similar possibility of not being able to use its logo for GE13 but the Registrar of Societies (ROS) did not block them.

Liew said the ROS case against the party was "aimed at destroying DAP in the most vicious and undemocratic manner."

Liew and Tengku Sariffuddin exchanges were triggered by the DAP political education bureau chief's scathing analysis of Najib's position, claiming that he was in a weakened state despite initial proclamations that he was "unsinkable".

The prime minister's aide said Liew's analysis was "fake news" and urged him and his colleagues to focus on DAP's own internal matters, such as its party logo, asking "Penang Official 1" to resign, getting party supremo Lim Kit Siang to quit and installing DAP's maverick Kepong MP Tan Seng Giaw as the party's new leader.

The term "Penang Official 1" was coined by Tengku Sariffuddin in reference to Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng as a jab at critics of "Malaysian Official 1", which the US Department of Justice (DOJ) claimed was a beneficiary of allegedly stolen 1MDB funds and which the opposition has used as fodder.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Abdul Rahman Dahlan had confirmed that "Malaysian Official 1" was indeed Najib.

Najib denied any wrongdoing or using public funds for personal gain.

Meanwhile, Lim is facing two charges of graft which he claimed were politically motivated.- mk

Swiss Going For Jugular In 1MDB...

The US Department of Justice (DOJ) civil forfeiture suits have provided the most extensive documentation on the 1MDB scandal to date with damaging claims against the troubled Malaysian sovereign wealth fund and its key players.

While many BN leaders have chosen to remain silent, Umno, in particular, has been on a counter-offensive, accusing the US of foreign intervention or even trying to overthrow a Muslim government.

However, even before the DOJ filed its first civil forfeiture suit in July 2016, it was the Swiss authorities which had first gone public with its investigation into 1MDB.

Swiss AG announced Jan 29 2016 that US$4 b misappropriated from 1MDB.It had requested for mutual legal assistance from Malaysia and did so again on Oct 10 last year in relation to a further US$800 m linked to SRC Interntl.

Malaysian AG Apandi Ali snubbed both requests.

But despite being the first to go public on 1MDB, the Swiss authorities have released information sparingly to the public compared to the DOJ.

A contrast between the two is that the Swiss authorities are building a criminal case while the US one is a civil action, even though the DOJ has refused to say if criminal actions will follow.

Switzerland's OAG in an email reply to Malaysiakini said a criminal case is pending and that was why it had not released further information.

"Please take note that in Switzerland, pending criminal proceedings are, by law, confidential and we are generally bound by investigation secrecy...

The Swiss AG is going for the jugular. The Oomno doombnos will not understand what is jugular.

If the Swiss commence criminal proceedings against the Malaysian crooks, it will be trial in absentia.

Subpoenas will be issued - for the crooks to attend trial. Maybe Interpol Red Notices. Notices will be published in the newspapers. Malulah Doombno.

If found guilty it will also be in absentia. Then Warrants of Arrest will be issued for those already found guilty.

Imagine a Warrant of Arrest issued for MO1?

Wouldn't that be a dainty dish to be sat before the king.- ostb

Tajaan haji 1MDB,mana laporan kewangan...

Image result for haji and 1mdb

Setelah dedah maklumat tajaan haji, 1MDB digesa dedah laporan kewangan lengkap...

“Bukannya sekadar mendedahkan maklumat tertentu sahaja seperti penajaan menunaikan haji sebanyak RM56 juta sejak 2011,” katanya lagi. – Roketkini.com

Jamil Khir, kaji sumber 1MDB biaya haji

Mengapa 1MDB hanya dedah maklumat tajaan haji?

America is a Rorschach Test to most foreigners. What they view as America reveals more of themselves than of America; likewise, how they react to events in America.

One visitor to Washington, DC, would see only the homeless under the bridges, potholes on the streets, and “adult” stores at very corner; others, The Smithsonian, Georgetown University, and the National Institutes of Health. The contrasting observations reflect volumes on the observers.

Consider the Malaysian responses to the US Department of Justice (DOJ) lawsuits relating to alleged illicit siphoning of funds from 1MDB. I am not referring to the kopi-o babbling in the echo chamber of UMNO-paid “cyber-troopers” that pollutes the social media. They are pet parrots; babbling whatever is coached to them. With a different master offering more leftovers they could be made to change their tune.

What interests me instead are the responses of ministers and commentators. Their utterances expose their appalling ignorance of the American justice system. They also reveal much of themselves, as per Rorschach’s insight.

One minister, eager to be seen as his master’s favorite lapdog, asserted that DOJ is being influenced by the Malaysian opposition. On cue, the other hounds and bitches piled on. A hitherto severe critic of the establishment pontificated that a former champion college debater together with Mahathir and Daim Zainuddin were involved.

Heady stuff for a young man! Though flattered, Syed Saddiq went ahead and filed a police report against that blogger! Mahathir described best those who believed such canards: “Bodoh luar biasa!” (Extraordinarily stupid!)

Those characters must also believe that the American judicial system is like Malaysia’s, where prosecutors could be influenced or paid off a la one Shafee Abdullah. Sarawak Report alleged that he was paid RM9.5 million from Najib’s slush fund before being appointed special prosecutor in Anwar Ibrahim’s case. Shafee has not denied that.

Another minister declared DOJ’s charges ‘mere’ allegations. Sorry, no marks for stating the obvious. A former journalist-turn-blogger echoed that, and proceeded, for emphasis, to reprint in bold the DOJ’s caution.

Of course DOJ’s accusations, like all court complaints, are “alleged” until adjudicated by the court. DOJ must have credible evidence to not waste taxpayers’ money on frivolous lawsuits. The jury would not buy it. DOJ does not allege any Joe on the street of corruption.

Those who believe otherwise must think that DOJ and American courts are like Malaysia’s where prosecutors could be bought to bring on cases with the flimsiest of evidences and still find judges to convict, as with Anwar’s case.

That is not a far stretch. A few years ago, a defense lawyer known for his amazing ‘skills’ in getting his clients acquitted was caught on videotape assuring his listener that he had the judge in his pocket. The lawyer’s utterance, “Correct! Correct! Correct!” would forever be embedded in the annals of shame in the Malaysian judiciary.

Then there was the character who insinuated that the ‘inactivity’ of DOJ since its first filing a year earlier reveals its sinister political motive. Had he followed the court’s calendar he would have noted the flurry of activities. Among them, the successful challenge by the new trustee of some of the seized properties to be represented.

This character went on to opine that since her initial filing in July 2016, US Attorney-General Loretta Lynch had been “fired,” implying that the lawsuit was without merit. Such willful ignorance reveals a deliberate attempt to mislead. Lynch was a political appointee, and with President Trump’s election all such appointees were replaced. Further, the second filing was by her successor.

Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid, a local PhD, implied that all the furor over 1MDB were fake news, the concoctions of hostile foreign media! It is instructive that this character did his dissertation on the local media. To him, the likes of The Wall Street Journal are like Utusan Melayu. His response reveals as much about him as the institution that awarded him his doctorate.

A junior minister accused the Americans of trying to topple Najib, in cahoots with the opposition. Not too long ago he and others were lapping at pictures of Najib golfing with President Obama. That minister however, did not see fit to lead a demonstration at the embassy in defense of Malaysia. Some jantan!

It is unfortunate that this non-too bright character’s remarks resonated with simple villagers.

A senior minister, a little brighter being that he was a London-trained lawyer, dismissed the whole DOJ affair. Malaysia had other far more important issues to attend to, he sniffed. If the staggering sums of the loot did not impress him, what about the charges of corruption levelled at the highest government official, cryptically referred to as “Malaysian Official 1.” That should be his and all Malaysians’ top priority.

Yet another minister advised everyone not to panic. The lady doth protest too much, methinks. Nobody was panicking except her crowd.

Attorney-General Apandi was miffed that DOJ did not consult him. DOJ’s lawsuits were prompted to protect American financial institutions from the corrupting influences of dirty foreign funds. It does not need Malaysia’s ‘help,’ more so considering that Apandi had declared no wrongdoing.

Apandi was also upset at the criminal insinuations against the prime minister. His comment unwittingly revealed what he thinks of his job, less as chief prosecutor, more as Najib’s private attorney. No wonder his “investigations” exonerated Najib! Apandi also unwittingly confirmed that MO1 is in fact Najib and that the activities he was alleged to have been engaged in were criminal in nature.

If the responses were revealing, the non-response or silence was even more so. The lawsuits allege that billions were illicitly siphoned from the company, and it is mentioned umpteen times in the complaints. Yet 1MDB did not seek to be represented as a party of interest. This reflects its management’s inability to separate the company’s interests from those of its officers’.

Najib is 1MDB’s chairman. The management confuses Najib with the company. Management is not looking after the company’s interest in not seeking representation, which was how the mess started in the first place.

Malaysian officials’ responses to DOJ’s lawsuits did not reflect well on them or Malaysia. I can hardly wait for their reactions or “spin” when this DOJ investigation goes on to its next inevitable phase, the filing of criminal charges and or when one of the defendants becomes a prosecution witness.

Meanwhile, fake news or not and collusion or not, MO1, his spouse, or stepson will not be stepping foot in America any time soon, if ever. That is revealing. – June 27, 2017 – LKSBlog

Kalau PAS mahu jadi khadam UMNO, so what...

Miranda Kerr's earnings repossessed.
Malulah Malaysia...

Someone sent this...

The leading story in the Times Newspaper today has offered the Malaysian Prime Minister, 1MDB and their admittedly limited group of enthusiastic supporters the perfect opportunity to prove their various denials by putting them to the test in court.

The paper leads with the headline “Supermodel surrenders £6million jewels’ and then introduces the UK public across a full page story to the essentials of the 1MDB theft.

“Gifts are suspected to have been bought with stolen Malaysian funds”, the paper begins detailing the gifts also to Leo DiCaprio, the Picassos and Jho Low’s super yacht.  This is all, of course, old news to Malaysian readers of online news, however Malaysians are also aware that the Prime Minister, the fund and his government are all denying any of this is true.

They have accused the United States Department of Justice of being in a ‘political conspiracy’ against Najib and have accused journalists like Sarawak Report of being agitators, spies, collaborators and all the rest.

They even dismiss the detailed 251 page court document showing the exact money trails by which the 1MDB money was stolen by Jho Low, then went into gifts and bank accounts belonging to Najib, his wife and their celebrity contacts, as ‘showing no proof’.

So far it has been Najib and his supporters who have been remarkably unable to produce any evidence to back their far-fetched excuses, compared to the overwhelming and devastating documentation by US and other foreign investigators.

In fact, the replacement AG’s refusal to cooperate, his refusal to investigate and now his pretense that no one has asked him to do either has been a stunning tacit admission of guilt on the part of his de facto boss, Najib.

Today the PM propaganda unit Jasa even blathered that Miranda Kerr should have handed the jewels back to Jho Low on the basis they had not been bought with stolen money…. without providing a shred of evidence, once more, for such a wild claim.

At the end of next month Najib has to find over $600 million to pay IPIC as a first installment of what Malaysia has been forced by court action to admit 1MDB owes.

Laughably he pretends he is going to get this from money he pretends still exists in 1MDB’s own bank accounts, even though the combined investigations and court actions of the US and Singapore have demonstrated there isn’t a penny there.

Bankers are serving jail sentences in Singapore having admitted that fact and their own complicity in the thefts.

Malaysians will be treated to a ridiculous farce as Najib will have to raise the money from the Treasury, or taxes or borrowing (or stealing behind the scenes from other public companies and sell offs) and then lie that it is coming from 1MDB.

Unless, of course, he bites the bullet and takes The Times to court for joining the conspiracy of lies.  In fact, there are numerous papers he could sue, since they have all covered the case – he can take his pick.

He didn’t do very well in the arbitration process, however, which he plainly lost completely.  He would lose in the London Court as well, given he plainly has no evidence to back up nonsense.

So Najib will keep his head down and hope Malaysians will continue to put up with their Thieving Clown Prime Minister. -anonymous,ostb

Few Malays visit non-Malay open houses
for non-Muslim festivals?...

To this day, I still continue what I did as a child, which is to visit friends’ open houses for non-Muslim festivals. Christmas lunches. New Year parties. Deepavali. Reunion dinners on Chinese New Year’s eve and tossing the yee sang two weeks later.

Some time ago, close Chinese friends quietly expressed sadness, that very few Malays, if any, were willing to share the CNY celebrations, and my Indian friends, their Deepavali open houses.

Despite their claims that they would ensure the food was halal, and provide new paper plates and plastic cups, Malays stayed away.

Why?

Why are fewer Malays visiting non-Malay open houses for the various festivals?

It appears that the issue is not just with food. Some object to visiting places where there is a shrine. A few refuse to eat off crockery and cutlery that has ‘touched’ pork. Others worry about the content of the soap with which to wash their hands.

Many Malays are oblivious to how their non-Malay colleagues go out of their way to accommodate Malay sensitivities. Sometimes, even the best efforts are in vain.

One friend said, “What is the point of ordering food from a Malay restaurant, and serve it for CNY? The idea is to partake in our celebratory dishes and cakes. We would have ensured that the ingredients were halal. Apparently, that is not good enough.”

When it comes to pot-luck or giving food as presents, non-Malays express frustration that their contributions are refused, even if the non-Malay took great pains to ensure the use of halal ingredients. Rejection of their unappreciated and wasted efforts, is hard to accept.

Malay Intolerance

Official functions are also dominated by Malay intolerance. A friend said that the Malay organisers of a parent-teacher association dinner at a school in Malacca arranged for a restaurant which had the ‘Halal’ accreditation, to cater the function. It would have been a halal Chinese dinner. Unfortunately, the arrangement was cancelled as a few of the Malay parents and teachers objected, because the restaurant owner and his staff were Chinese.

Would these parents kick up a fuss if they were overseas? Are they as demanding when they go on holiday in overseas locations?

Malay intolerance is disrupting national harmony.  Malaysia was once a place which practised a moderate, inclusive brand of Islam, but the radicals and hardliners have corrupted the minds of many Malays.

So, what happened to the tolerance of the Malays, and how did they forget they are living in multi-cultural Malaysia?

The Perak mufti, Harussani Zakaria, once forbade Malays from visiting their friends’ homes, during the festivals.

One hopes that the intolerant Malays can regain their ability to rationalise and recover their Malaysian multicultural identity. - Mariam Mokhtar
