Dulu video lucah,la suara lucah, modus operandi sama saja...

“Dia lantik diri dia jadi pengerusi Khazanah. Apa ni, rakyat rugi, MAS rugi, Khazanah rugi.”

Satu lagi klip audio berbunyi: “Dulu dia tuduh saya liwat…dia jangan lupa, apa jadi pada kes forex dia RM30 bilion” merujuk kerugian dialami Bank Negara akibat urus niaga mata wang asing pada 1990-an, ketika Dr Mahathir pertama kali menjadi perdana menteri.

UMNO Dan PAS Bakal Bergabung Secara Rasmi?

- UMeloya

PPBM chief strategist gives 6 reasons
why he doubts ‘Anwar audio’...

PPBM chief strategist Rais Hussin has given six reasons why he does not believe that it is PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim’s voice in several explosive short audio clips that have been circulating on social media today.

Rais said they were clearly not the work of Anwar.

First, the voice recordings have yet to be authenticated on their origin or context.

Second, they were released with no context, and third, the timing of these recordings is uncertain.

Fourth, there is a cut and paste element to these voice recordings.

Fifth, given the proximity of the PKR party elections, there is certainly a sinister intention in viralling such recordings.

Sixth, sufficient voice techniques are available to imitate various voices of people through the use of software. There are also voice actors who can ‘imitate the voice’ of anyone,” Rais told FMT today.

Rais (above) said these six reasons were good enough to reject the recordings as the “Quranic truth”.

PKR leaders, including Anwar’s wife and party president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and Lembah Pantai MP Fahmi Fadzil, have dismissed the audio clips as “fake”.

In one of these recordings, which FMT received, a voice strongly resembling that of Anwar is heard lashing out at Economic Affairs Minister Azmin Ali. The person admitted that he was behind Rafizi Ramli’s decision to contest the deputy president’s post.

The PKR polls are scheduled for later this year.

Rafizi previously announced his intention to run for the party deputy president’s post, which is currently held by Azmin. Rafizi is currently the party’s vice-president.

Azmin has been coy on whether he will defend his post or go for the presidency.

The audio clips are believed to be not more than three days old as a reference was made to Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s decision to helm Khazanah Nasional Berhad following the exit of its board members. This was only announced on Monday.

The same voice said in a separate audio clip: “In the past, he accused me of sodomy… did he forget… about the forex case, RM30 billion”, referring to the forex scandal of the 1990s during Mahathir’s first term as prime minister and Anwar’s infamous sodomy trials.

Rais said it would be good for Anwar if he clarifies whether he was the voice in the recordings.

“You cannot reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks,” he said, quoting Winston Churchill.

Mahathir has since come out to say that he would not interfere in the affairs of PKR and denied that he had spoken negatively about Anwar. - fmt

Anwar: I don't use words like 'barua'...

PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim has denied being the voice behind audio recordings critical of party deputy president Azmin Ali and Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

"I don't use rude words like 'barua' (lackey) [...] as fierce as I am, I don't use words like 'barua'," Anwar said when met by reporters in Bandar Puteri, Selangor this evening.

He added the audio clips in question were probably part of an unhealthy political game ahead of the upcoming PKR elections.

"It is unhealthy [...] they should fight me ouut in the open," he said.

He also said that PKR members aren't gullible enough to be fooled by the recordings.

Earlier today, three audio clips each less than 10 seconds long were circulated through WhatsApp.

The recordings featured a man who sounded similar to Anwar denouncing Azmin as a 'barua' (lackey) to Mahathir.

The recordings also criticised Mahathir's recent decision to appoint himself Khazanah Nasional chairperson and also dredged up the 1990s Bank Negara forex scandal.

Anwar said he had made no speeches after the Khazanah appointments on Monday save for those when on the Sungai Kandis by-election campaign trail.

Last year, Anwar had also testified during the royal commission of inquiry into the forex scandal during which he said Mahathir had not given any instructions for Bank Negara to dabble in the forex market.

The recordings emerged amid speculation of a rift between Anwar and Azmin as well as allegations that Mahathir and his allies are purportedly attempting to impede the PKR de facto leader's political advancement. - mk
