The sister of Siti Aishah Abdul Wahab, the Malaysian woman who reportedly escaped after 30 years of domestic enslavement, has arrived in London and is arranging to meet Siti Aishah.
"We still don't know if Aishah wants to meet with us," activist Hishamuddin Rais said in a blog post uploaded at 4.19pm Malaysian time.
Hishamuddin, (right) who is accompanying Aishah's elder sister Kamar Mautum Abdul Wahab, added that more information will be provided to the media.
However, he appealed for the media to "not be too nosy" at this juncture, as this could disrupt Kamar Mautum's plans to finally reunite with her sister, who allegedly cut ties with the family after joining a Maoist sect.
Hishammuddin was a student activist who went into self-imposed exile to London in the 1970s, and had known Siti Aishah.
Both hail from Jelebu, Negri Sembilan, while Siti Aishah, who received a scholarship to study in London, was also active in the student movement.
Hishammuddin and Kamar Mautum departed to London last night and arrived about 1.30pm Malaysian time (5.30am London time).
'Notes not decipherable'
Meanwhile, the BBC reported that a neighbor, Charlotte Watts, said one of three women held captive at the Brixton home stood at the window "for hours" and held up notes, but they were not decipherable.
She was also quoted as saying that the women were seen running errands in the neighbourhood but appeared to lack social skills.
Neighbours had assumed the house was a halfway home for abused women.
A 1997 video from a documentary on the inquest into the death of Sian Davies showed the women walking behind Balakrishnan and Siti Aishah pushing Chandra who was in a wheelchair.
Sian died after a fall from the Brixton home's second floor. The police are reportedly relooking the case.
The Mirror reported that Siti Aishah testified at the inquest as well as in 1978, when members of the reported Maoist collective were nabbed in a drug raid. They were eventually charged for obstructing the police.

Ia menjadi sorotan besar-besaran media British atas dakwaan menjadi hamba kumpulan Maoist.
Semalam, aktivis Hishamuddin Rais mendedahkan kepada The Malaysian Insider wanita Malaysia menjadi "hamba psikologi" selama 30 tahun di London adalah Siti Aishah.

Slavery suspects and 'victims' in 1997 documentary...
TV News has uncovered documentary footage of members of the alleged 'slavery' commune in south London.
These pictures from 1997 show members of the group responding to questions about the death of group member Sian Davies, who died following a fall from a window of a house used by the group.
Members are also seen attending an inquest into the death of Sian Davies, who was paralysed following the fall.
Miss Davies' family criticised the group at the inquest and in an interview today for not telling them for several months that she was paralysed in hospital.
The family only learned of the fall when Miss Davies died in hospital.

Chanda, pictured in a wheelchair and to the left of the man known as Comrade Bala, was arrested with her husband last week as part of an investigation into slavery and domestic servitude.
In another clip from a 1997 ITV documentary, Aravindan Balakrishnan, also known as Comrade Bala, is seen walking towards an inquest wearing a pink shirt and brown jacket.
