Turut hadir, Timbalan Ketua Penerangan Angkatan Muda KEADILAN (AMK), Rozan Azen Mat Rasip.
Mengulas lanjut, Hishamuddin turut memberi contoh penipuan Umno BN.
“Seperti yang berlaku di Felda Sungai Tengi, Kuala Kubu Bharu. Presiden Persatuan Anak Peneroka Felda Kebangsaan (Anak), Mazlan Aliman dihalang dari memasuki Felda itu hanya untuk berceramah.
“Berapa nilai Felda itu? RM100 juta? RM200 juta. Bagaimana pula Putrajaya berharga berbilion-bilion, bertrilion-trilion?
– NS
Selangor Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim won his defamation
lawsuit against former MACC chief Datuk Seri Ahmad Said and the
government earlier this month.
Khalid wants contempt of court order against ex-MACC chief, AG's Chambers...
Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim has instructed his lawyers to initiate contempt of court proceedings against former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Datuk Seri Ahmad Said Hamdan and the government for failing to abide by a court order to publish a public apology.A front-page public apology addressed to Khalid was to be published in The Star and the New Straits Times four days from March 19, when a consent judgment was entered against Ahmad Said and the Attorney-General's Chambers in a defamation suit filed by Khalid.
Six days had passed since the deadline expired, said Khalid in a statement today, but the apology read in court by the former MACC head had yet to be published.
"I'm very disappointed with Ahmad Said and the government for willing to go against the court order and risking contempt of court despite having agreed to terms before Kuala Lumpur High Court Judge Datuk Lau Bee Lan to publish a public apology on the front page of the newspapers.
"However, Ahmad Said and the government are irresponsible for purposely refusing to fulfil their end of the bargain within four days, as decided by the High Court," said Khalid.
Ahmad Said had read out an apology to Khalid before Justice Lau for accusing the menteri besar of abusing his powers by using state funds to maintain his personal car and to purchase 46 cows for Aidiladha celebrations in Bandar Tun Razak parliamentary constituency in 2009.
The former MACC head, however, defended his action on the grounds that the statement was not said with the intention of harming Khalid's reputation, but merely in response to reporters who had posed a question during a press conference on Feb 20, 2009 about investigations on the plaintiff.
Khalid had initiated the defamation suit against Ahmad Said, the MACC and the government for the libellous statement that he had abused his power as menteri besar.
The menteri besar added that Ahmad Said and the government had "failed" to execute the court's order although they were reminded of the matter by his lawyer.-fz
