DAP akan memohon kerajaan Selangor bertindak termasuk kemungkinan
merampas tanah yang didakwa milik Umno Puchong yang gagal membayar cukai
selama dua tahun berturut-turut ke atas tanah itu.ADUN Subang Jaya Hannah Yeoh mendakwa tanah itu merupakan sebahagian daripada 24 keping tanah yang diperolehi BN dengan harga murah sewaktu pentadbiran mereka di Selangor.
Dakwanya lagi, tanah dengan nombor lot 0073899 dan 0073900 itu mempunyai bayaran cukai tertunggak sebanyak RM26,935.50 dan RM110,869.20
Sementara, cukai taksiran kedua-duanya pula mencecah hampir RM150 ribu, dakwanya.
"Kami akan menulis kepada kerajaan negeri untuk mempertimbang pilihan yang ada termasuklah merampas kembali tanah itu di bawah Kanun Tanah Negara," katanya pada sidang media pagi tadi.
Dakwa Hannah lagi, dua keping tanah itu juga kosong dan tidak didirikan sebarang pusat kemasyarakatan seperti didakwa BN sewaktu ADUN Sekinchan Ng Suee Lim mula mendedahkan pemilikan 24 keping tanah oleh BN itu.
Selain dua keping tanah yang didakwa dimiliki Umno Puchong itu, Hannah turut mendakwa MCA dan Gerakan masing-masing memiliki sekeping tanah dalam daerah Puchong.
Dakwanya lagi, menurut salinan carian rasmi dengan pejabat tanah dan daerah itu, tanah yang nombor lot PT29095 terletak di Pekan Kinrara yang didakwa didaftarkan di atas nama Gerakan.
Sementara tanah yang didakwa milik di MCA itu, menurutnya didakwa didaftarkan atas nama MCA cawangan Batu dan terletak di Pekan Pucung Jaya dengan nombor lot PT235.

Turut hadir dalam sidang media itu, ahli parlimen Puchong Gobind Singh Deo dan Ng Suee Lim.
Sementara itu, Gobind pula mencabar Gerakan dan MCA untuk membuktikan tanah itu dimanfaatkan untuk rakyat seperti didakwa BN di Dewan Undangan Negeri sebelum ini, sebelum DAP membuat lebih banyak pendedahan mengenainya.
"Saya cabar mereka untuk buktikan tanah yang dimiliki mereka itu digunakan untuk masyarakat," tegas Gobind yang juga seorang peguam.
Dakwaan BN memiliki 24 keping tanah murah dengan harga RM1 sekaki persegi itu mula dibangkitkan Ng kira-kira sebulan yang lalu sewaktu sidang DUN Selangor.
Ng pula kesal dengan sikap membisu Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak yang juga pengerusi Badan Perhubungan Umno Selangor untuk menjawab dakwaan beliau.
"Hari ini saya menzahirkan kekesalan kerana sudah sebulan berlalu dari tarikh 20 November - hari ini genap 20 Disember - pihak saya dan DAP masih menanti jawapan BN di bawah Najib.
"Kita tuntut Najib jawab kerana dia pengerusi (Badan) Perhubungan Umno Selangor dan dia jawab isu tanah satu kaki satu ringgit ini.
"Kalau tidak, Umno BN hilang autoriti moral untuk bercakap soal ketelusan," katanya yang juga timbalan setiausaha DAP Selangor.
Hannah pula menggesa supaya Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) bertindak ke atas laporan berkaitan dakwaan tersebut sebelum ini yang dibuat sayap pemuda DAP di Putrajaya pada 6 Disember lalu.-malaysiakini

DAP, in a continued expose of BN’s cheap land acquisitions, has asked
the Selangor menteri besar to consider confiscating land allegedly owned
by Puchong Umno for not paying quit rent for two years.
Subang Jaya assemblyperson Hannah Yeoh said today the land is part of the 24 plots that BN had acquired at a cheap price when the coalition was ruling Selangor prior to 2008.
According to Yeoh, lots 0073899 and 0073900 in Puchong are in arrears of quit rent amounting to RM26,935.50 and RM110,869.20 respectively.
“We will write to the state government to consider several options, including confiscating the land under the National Land Code,” she told a press conference this morning.
She said that the two plots of land still remained vacant and that no community centre has been built there, contrary to the BN claim that was made when Sekinchan assemblyperson Ng Suee Lim first exposed the BN’s acquisition of the 24 plots of land at below cost.
Besides the two plots of land owned by Umno, Yeoh further claimed that both MCA and Gerakan too own a plot of land.
According to the official search copy from the District Land Office, the plot of land registered under Gerakan is located in Kinrara, Puchong, under the lot number PT29095, while that owned by MCA is registered under the party’s Batu branch and is located in Puchong Jaya with the plot number PT235.

Puchong MP Gobind Singh Deo and Ng were also present at the press conference.
Gobind said Gerakan and MCA have to prove that the lands have been used for the benefit of the people, as BN had claimed a the Selangor state assembly sitting, before more revelations on the land grab was made by DAP.
“I challenge them to prove that the lands owned by them are used for the people,” said Gobind.
The allegations that BN owns 24 plots of land, acquired at the cheap price of RM1 per square foot, was raised by Ng (right) during the Selangor state assembly sitting a month ago.
Ng expressed his disappointment with Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, who is also Selangor Umno chief, for his deafening silence to his (Ng’s) allegations.
“Today, I express my regret, for it has been a month since Nov 20 when I made the revelation. Both DAP and I are still waiting for the response from BN under Najib’s leadership.
“We ask for Najib to answer as Selangor Umno chief, and for him to respond to this issue of ‘RM1 per square foot’ land.
“If not, BN/ Umno would lose its moral authority to speak about its transparency,” Ng added.- malaysiakini
