Pusat Feedlot Kebangsaaan (NFC), projek bernilai RM73.64 juta yang digambarkan dalam keadaan "kacau-bilau" oleh Laporan Ketua Audit Negara 2010 enggan mengulas prestasi hambarnya.

Sebaliknya, menurut jurucakapnya Wan Zurina Saaran, sebarang pertanyaan perlu diajukan kepada Menteri Pertanian dan Industri Asas Tani, Datuk Seri Noh Omar.

"(Noh) akan jelaskan isu-isu yang dibangkitkan di Parlimen pada penggulungan bahas minggu akan datang," katanya menjawab soalan e-mel yang diajukan.

Menurut Laporan Ketua Audit Negara projek itu bermasalah sehinggan memaksa syarikat Menteri Besar Negeri Sembilan Pemerbadanan mengambil semula 3,000 ekar daripada 5,000 ekar tanah yang diperuntukkan untuk projek berkenaan.

The National Feedlot Centre (NFC), a RM73.64 million project described as "a mess" by the Auditor-General's 2010 report, declined to comment on its dismal performance.

Instead, spokesperson Wan Zurina Saaran said that Malaysiakini's queries will be answered by the Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industries, Noh Omar.

"(Noh) will be explaining the issues raised in Parliament during the winding-up debate next week," she said in an email to the portal yesterday.

The portal had approached NFC on the audit findings that NFC failed to meet its obligations, as well as claims made by PKR that the project is run by the husband and children of a cabinet minister.

The Auditor-General noted that the project is plagued with problems, with Pemerbadanan Menteri Besar Negeri Sembilan having taken back 3,000 acres of the 5,000 acres set aside for the project.

Also, NFC only received RM6.52 million of the RM13 million grant promised, while only RM134.72 million of its RM250 million soft loan was released to the company.

Ketiga2 tokoh UMNO ini hanya mendiamkan diri,seolah2 tiada apa yang terjadi dan enggan menjelaskan bagaimana projek ini telah diberikan kepada suami dan anak kepada Menteri Pembangunan Wanita & Keluarga dan Masyarakat Malaysia. Inilah wajah2 penjuang Melayu yang sangat dibanggakan oleh UMNO dulu,kini dan selama2nya...

Armageddon - All these are serious findings by the Auditor General and serious allegations by Pakatan Rakyat. As usual all these will be swept under the carpet.
