- fmt

Sukarnya pembangkang hendak berpakat...

Baca seterusnya...

In this news, this mother and daughter's car has run out of fuel. They were driving to the supermarket to buy food and groceries. They got down from their empty-fuel-tank-car and stood there in the middle of the road. Not knowing what to do. They had no money to buy fuel.

Then they decided to go to the supermarket anyway and take what they wanted - without having to pay any money.

This mother and daughter did not know how to steal.  They should have followed the example of some of these people here...

Ikan kembong is now close to RM20 per kilo. But I think its ok.  Just let them eat cake. Apa susah sangat? The people (who are most badly affected) can eat nasi kicap. Those who can afford it can also eat Maggie Mee.

JoLo and family have stolen RM2.9 Billion.

Najib has stolen RM 2.9 Billion.  They have included another RM5 Billion for Najib (under unaccounted).  I dont think that extra RM5 Billion went to Najib. I think JoLo has sapu that amount as well.

There is another RM2.9 Billion worth of Bombardier jet, artworks, properties and what not. I think JoLo has got that as well.

My bet is JoLo and family have sapu 2.9 + 5.0 + 2.9 = RM10.8 Billion.

I dont think Najib and gang are clever enough to outsmart JoLo and family.

Here is the other thing you must bear in mind. This stealing happened from 2009 until 2012.  That is 5 - 8 years ago.

Assuming JoLo and family have been earning a return of say 5% on these stolen billions for all these years, their interest, dividend, other income alone is about RM540 million a year ! !

So over 5-8 years they have already earned an extra RM2.7 billion to RM4.32 billion in interest, dividends and other incomes.

That is more than RM1,300 worth of cooking oil, soap and rice that was stolen by that mother and daughter in that supermarket in Johor Baru, capital city of the Bangsa Johor. - ostb

Image result for Act 355
Act 355 unacceptable, even if East Malaysians exempted...

I refer to the comment by Sin Chew Daily reproduced in Free Malaysia Today as “Pivotal role for Sabah, Sarawak MPs over Hadi’s bill”.

It has been suggested that the government’s version of RUU355 will only be applicable to Muslims in West Malaysia, in an effort to win over the MPs from Sabah and Sarawak who had strongly objected to the bill.

If this is the intention of the government, it shows the absurdity of the whole situation and makes it absolutely clear now that their taking over of the bill from PAS and trying to push it through is politically motivated.

Even if the government proposes to exempt Sabah and Sarawak from the bill, do not expect us to breathe a sigh of relief and allow the bill to pass without a fight.

This short-sighted “solution” would prove that the BN/Umno government places no importance on inclusiveness and equality, and is unconcerned that this move will divide the country into two, each with its own legal system.

This will be in violation of Article 8 of the Federal Constitution, which must come into play, now more than ever before.

Article 8(1) states: “All persons are equal before the law and entitled to the equal protection of the law.” Article 8(2) provides: “Except as expressly authorised by this Constitution, there shall be no discrimination against citizens on the ground only of religion, race, descent, place of birth, gender in any law…”

Image may contain: 6 people, text

How is it possible that the government could even consider a bill that offends Article 8 in almost every respect? MPs from Sabah and Sarawak must not be lured into believing that this is a good way out for them from being responsible and accountable for their actions. There is no escaping their sworn duty to preserve, protect and defend the constitution from being violated by the BN/Umno government.

This bill in its amended form will be unfair and unjust to our fellow citizens in West Malaysia, and our MPs must take cognisance of the fact that their duty to the citizens is not confined to those in their own constituencies, but extends to all Malaysians.

Furthermore, many Sarawakians and Sabahans reside and work in West Malaysia. It is not practical or realistic that they will be exempted from this oppressive law. Our MPs must also bear this in mind.

If we do not assert every citizen’s rights to equality under Article 8 now, and go along with the blinkered and misguided views that we can somehow be shielded from RUU355, once the law is passed, the proponents may pounce on Article 8 and insist that the law which we thought we were exempted from should apply equally to us.

MPs from Sabah and Sarawak must stand firm and not play into the hands of those that would use us as pawns in their political games. This is a crucial test for our MPs – we have the opportunity to make a difference and to have a say in how we want Malaysia to be.

The direction in which the country has been heading is certainly not what our forefathers signed up for. Let us show the BN/Umno government what we are made of. - Baru Bian, fmt

Guru kritik gomen SALAH,tapi Guru kritik pembangkang OK...

Image may contain: one or more people and text

Lu tau pasai apa guru2 hentam sama gomen?

Depa tak suka GST, depa tak suka cara gomen bazirkan wang rakyat. Depa ikuti rapat isu 1MDB dan RM2.6billion yang masuk akaun MO1. Depa cikgu, otak depa sentiasa berputar, tak jumud macam ahli2 UMNO tegaq. Lagi pun depa kenai perangai Ketua2 Bahagian UMNO dikawasan depa.

Teachers have right to support
opposition too, minister told

Pakatan Harapan leaders have blasted Education Minister Mahdzir Khalid for telling teachers who actively promote the opposition or discredit the government to resign from the civil service.

Amanah's Kota Raja MP Siti Mariah Mahmud said teachers have every right to support a political party that can improve their working conditions.

“With the rise in information technology and growing interest in politics among the people, it is pretty strange when a national leader like Mahdzir chooses to be conservative and old-fashioned in denying the right of teachers to support political parties that are not in government.

“Perhaps it's because the attitude of outdated leaders, such as this, that is causing the country to fail to reach developed nation status by the target year 2020, forcing it to be extended to 2050,” Siti Mariah said in a statement today.

“I suggest Mahdzir stops interfering in the affairs of teachers outside of school hours, and instead prioritises efforts in raising the standards of teaching and learning in schools,” she said.

She said it is no secret that teachers are burdened with administrative and clerical tasks that interfere with their teaching duties, and such extra workload even spills into their after work hours.

They are also reported to be required to attend courses that have nothing to do with the teaching profession, said the MP.

“With all these is burdens unrelated to their job, surely teachers have a right to choose and participate in other political parties with the hope they can guarantee the quality of education in the country would be improved to the utmost,” she said.

Siti Mariah said the minister should look at the poor educational infrastructure in rural areas and in Sabah and Sarawak, which should be the focus of his ministerial duties.

As for the teachers, she said they and other civil servants should be wary of an increasingly autocratic government that is also increasingly intolerant of criticisms from the civil service.

“Ensure you use the power of your vote to change the government now, to a new one that cares more for the plights of all segments of society,” she said.

Loyalty to country, not BN

In another statement, Bandar Kuching MP Chong Chieng Jen's special assistant Kelvin Yii said he was “appalled” by Mahdzir's warning to teachers, which showed a “clear disrespect for the principles of democracy and well as the use of fear tactics to control and intimidate civil servants”.

Yii said BN should not demand “blind loyalty” from civil servants as the taxpayers are the ones who pay their their salaries.

“Civil servants are paid by revenue generated from the country. Revenue from a country comes from many sources, which one of it is income tax, which is paid by the public.

“So it is not the government, nor is it the BN, that pays the salaries of teachers and civil servants. The loyalty of these civil servants is to the country, not to a political party nor to an individual,” he said.

Yii said government agencies should not be politicised and any general order that limits the freedom of speech and of association, as enshrined in the Federal Constitution, should be reformed.

Independent and critical thinking, he said, are critical to educators and should be cultivated for the sake of the children they educate.

The quality of education would be put at risk, he added, if teachers are “selected not by educational merit, but only by loyalty to a political party”.- mk

Appum - Now the Education Minister's turn to talk cock.He thinks all government servants, including teachers, belongs exclusively to UMNO.How in the hell can someone like this be an Education Minister,in charge of the well being and quality standards of our school system making sure we produced well educated future citizens for the nation.

He is more concerned about his Party's survival not the education of the people and the people who educate the young...the teachers. He demands loyalty from the teachers because without UMNO there will not be teachers anymore? He demands votes from the teachers because all teachers owe it to UMNO for being there.

Teachers have no value on their own, they owe UMNO for a living and profession? What kind of mentality does an Education Minister,a very important and senior port folio in the Cabinet/Government,shows here? That is why I always say all our Ministers are not fit to be where they are, they don't deserve their positions because they are not qualified to.

Dont just talk - Education Minister Mahdzir Khalid is wrong by asking teachers who discredit the Government to quit their profession. Teachers are role models to their students who are taught not to lie but to speak the truth and if by speaking the truth the teachers should be penalised then teaching is no longer a noble profession.

The teachers salaries are paid by tax-payers and not by UMNO Baru and if Mahdzir Khalid's boss MO1 did accept US$681 millions into his personal account, should the teachers be expected to lie and not discredit the Government.USE YOUR HEAD Mahdzir failing which, you should resign as the Education Minister and not the other way around by asking the teachers to quit their profession. Betul, betul otak udang Education Minister.

Hadi mahu selamatkan Najib,
bukan Malaysia...

– Harian Metro

RUU355 Perlu Persetujuan Majlis Raja-Raja Melayu Sebelum dibentangan Di Parlimen...

Beliau menegaskan demikian dalam sesi soal-jawab mengenai syarahan bertajuk "Islam as the Law of the Land" (Islam sebagai Undang-Undang Tanah Air), di ibu negara semalam.

"Mahkamah Syariah wujud kerana Islam.

"Mereka (Majlis Raja-Raja) mempunyai peranan masing-masing.

Nazri In Team B Theory
Seems More Plausible...

Ha ha ha. Here is an interesting picture. Tun Dr Mahathir was in Padang Rengas I suppose. Guess who gatecrashed Dr Mahathir's function? Its Nazri Aziz.

He even sat himself down (uninvited) at lunch with Tun Dr Mahathir. You can see the embarrasing look on Nazri's face and the totally uncomfortable look on Tun Dr Mahathir's face. (Macam terbau taik kucing lekat di kasut).

Here is something someone sent me. Apparently Dr Mahathir made this comment here. Its so funny.

Knowing Dr Mahathir's highly accute sarcasm, he hardly says anything without pondering it carefully.

So when Dr Mahathir says "Ingatkan dia nak bagi tau saya dia nak keluar UMNO ka apa"  it tallies exactly with the rumours flying around about Nazri.

That Nazri is in Team B (with Zahid) which is plotting to overthrow Najib in a putsch from inside UMNO. An internal coup de etat within UMNO.

The theory goes that Nazri's debate with Tun Dr Mahathir is actually to give Dr Mahathir  high balls about 1MDB, Najib etc  for Dr Mahathir  to then  smash down. And embarrass Najib, UMNO, BN and also PAS.

That is why the Team A guys are working overtime to make sure that no debate, discussion,  casual talk etc takes place between Nazri and Dr  Mahathir. Even Nazri's gatecrashing is too much of a risk. What if Dr Mahathir had engaged him in conversation? As the stomach churns. -ostb

Image result for pas nak jadi penasihat kerajaan - hadi

'Penasihat' kerajaan

Image result for pas n pkr di selangor

- Mohammad Siddiq Azani

Team A And Team B Plotting
'Coup de Etat' Inside UMNO...

Received this from someone...

1) Umno is caught up, both in an internal power struggle between team A (led by PM) and B (led by Zahid) plus another “external crisis” to win over the other BN parties especially those from Sarawak and Sabah to support the pro Hudud bill (RUU 355). It does NOT  look likely to be passed through this Parliamentary session (until 6 April).

2) Pas is also facing an internal power struggle (Hadi's position is getting weaker by the day) with many members feeling betrayed by Hadi's close relationship with PM and talks of Pas working together with Umno. Hadi's people (such as Nik Abduh) seem to be losing out in the current divisional elections. Grassroots sentiments in PAS and UMNO seem to be building up against and unfavourably to both presidents.

3) Rumours of Team B taking a stronger position might suggest why Nazri (seems to be an ally for now of team B by his recent attacks against Annuar Musa and Rahman Dahlan of Team A) is keen to having this public debate with Dr M on high profile issues such as 1MDB, which is likely to put more public pressure on PM. This is why that team A seems to be against this public debate.

4) One possible outcome on RUU 355 is for PM to quietly abandon it and let Team B "carry the baby" and take the blame for the failure. Zahid of Team B had been tasked by Najib to promote it, even suggesting that the government would take over the bill.

5) Heard that “big mama” is now in charge of a strategic unit to “take out or neutralize” team B and I_P, who is thought to be with team B now.

6) It would only be a matter of time before the power struggle in Umno leads to an open warfare and it is doubtful that the next GE would be held this year.

7) The decision by China to impose controls on the outflow of funds for the China purchasers of Country Garden project in Johor, is complicating matters and would adversely affect the power struggle in Johor between PM and MB there, who may be backed by the S there.

8) If RUU 355 is debated and does not get passed, then PM and Hadi are in big trouble. If it is quietly dropped or not brought up for first reading for this Parliamentary session, which is most likely the case, then PM can save face and blame Zahid and others for it but Hadi may be in trouble and may not survive a leadership challenge in Pas.

9) Sultan of Perak’s recent statement about the independence of judges seems to suggest that the judiciary should not be subservient to the executive (PM) and must be prepared to stand up against political interference. Another sign that the rulers might not be happy with what’s happening now.

10) Interesting times ahead, look out for further signs of the power struggle. For example, let’s see if Team A is going to stop the public debate between Nazri and Dr M, now scheduled on 7 April at Dewan Karangkraf  (Sinar Harian hq) in Shah Alam.

Ostb :  Kepada Ahli MT UMNO, Zahid, Hisham please be serious. You really cannot expect UMNO to survive the next GE14. Even if you win, the win will be super, razor thin. You will definitely lose more States. Kedah, Terengganu are sure goners. Perak might go too - only two seat majority in Perak.

Sabah might fall to the Opposition. Worse, Johor and Negeri Sembilan may see serious gains by the Opposition.

The cure for all these problems (for now) is just tell Najib and wife to leave.  Such a simple cure. Just one individual person has to exit. Take his garbage with him. Problem solved.

Do you seriously expect to face the GE14 with Najib heading the gomen? - ostb

PAS kasi warning kat Azmin Ali...

Timbalan presiden PKR diingatkan supaya jangan terlalu selesa selepas menyerang PAS kerana mereka yang membantu dan membenarkan beliau dan partinya memerintah Selangor.

Menyifatkan Datuk Mohamed Azmin Ali umpama “kacang lupakan kulit”, Ketua wanita PAS Selangor Wan Hasrina Wan Hassan mengingatkan beliau supaya jangan mencabar kesabaran parti Islam.

“Azmin sepatutnya sedar dia pegang kerusi menteri besar atas cadangan PAS.

- fmt

Three strange abductions and
the IGP has no clue...

There is something strange going on in the country. Pastor Koh was abducted by a team of about 15 men in three SUVs, two cars and two motorbikes.  The abductors even filmed the abduction.

Then we found out that Joshua Hilmy a Malay turned christian preacher has also gone missing since late last year. People who know him suspect he has also been abducted, along with his wife. Police reports have been made yet until today the Police have no clue about the whereabouts of Joshua Hilmy.

Now here is news that yet another man, social activist Amri Che Mat(pic, above) was also believed to have been abducted in November 2016. His family believes that a group of men also in a group of cars and motorbikes were responsible for his disappearance.

Ostb :  If indeed Amri Che Mat from Perlis, Joshua Hilmy and Pastor Koh(pic above) were abducted by the same gang, then the Police must advise us so.  Whether the Police have completed their investigations or not, they should have  some leads or some profiling that they can share with the public.

If the Police can say conclusively that these three abductions were totally unrelated then the Police must tell us so.

The public is worried that there indeed is a gang that is going around planning and abducting people.

In all three cases, the common factor is that no ransom demands have been made. This indicates some other motive, other than ransom money. I believe love triangles, Ah Long revenge, business rivalries, nasty mother-in-laws can all be ruled out.  There appears to be more sinister elements at work here.

In two of the cases (pastor Koh and Amri Che Mat) the presence of multiple vehicles and many men has been witnessed.

With so many cctvs fixed along our roads and highways the complete absence of clues in the pastor Koh abduction (more than a month now) is quite mindboggling.

The Amri Che Mat and Joshua Hilmy (pic above) abductions are even longer (more than four months) with still no clues as well.

In 1998, the son of Muhd Taib the former MB was kidnapped. The Police shot dead the whole gang of kidnappers - within hours of the release of the boy. Among the five people the Police shot dead was a pregnant woman - the wife of one of the kidnappers. That was before the age of cctvs.

Something is not right.- ostb

Sarawak BN may waver
over Hadi’s bill...

Sarawak BN MPs may waver on their stand against Hadi’s bill if the government tables it as specifically applying to Muslims in Peninsular Malaysia, while excluding non-Muslims and East Malaysians.

Sarawak DAP leader Chong Chieng Jen said if a deal had been struck with assurances given that Sarawak would be unaffected by the bill, that would be a “clear-cut lie”.

“After the passing of this bill, like all other bills, all it takes is for one signature of one minister before it will be extended to Sarawak. It will no longer require another debate or resolution in Parliament before it is extended to Sarawak,” Chong said.

He was responding to a front page report by Sin Chew Daily today, which stated that it had received a preliminary draft of the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 (Act 355) that will replace PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang’s private member’s bill.

In order to appease the non-Muslims and East Malaysians, the newly amended bill, scheduled to be tabled in the current parliamentary sitting, will specify that it is applicable to West Malaysian Muslims only, and will not be applicable to non-Muslims and East Malaysians, Sin Chew Daily reported.

Chong said Sarawakians would still be exposed to punishment under the new laws.

“There are hundreds of thousands of Sarawakians now working in West Malaysia. They will be subject to the same law under Act 355 once it is passed. All of them are Sarawakians, but their constitutional rights to a single system of criminal justice will be changed,” Chong said.

He added that new harsher Islamic laws would be discriminatory and would amount to having two punishments for one offence.

“This amounts to a back-door violation of the constitutional framework of our country,” he said.

Chong charged that the Sarawak BN government, led by Chief Minister Abang Johari Openg, would not stand up to Putrajaya.

“All Sarawak BN MPs have been gagged by Abang Johari not to speak on this matter anymore,” Chong told reporters at the state’s party headquarters today. There are 47 BN MPs from East Malaysia, of which 25 are from Sarawak.

“The whole development of this has shown that, in the BN, Umno’s wishes will always prevail. The other parties have no say. The value of PAS to Umno exceeds the value of all the other BN components put together,” he said.

He added that the only way to “protect the integrity” of Malaysia’s secular constitution was to “make Umno the opposition”..

“That is the only chance we have to stop ‘Umnoism’ and its culture from continually eroding our rights,” he said.

In its report, Sin Chew quoted a source as saying that the government’s draft may only make minor changes to Hadi’s proposals, such as increasing the fine from RM5,000 to RM50,000 (instead of RM100,000 as proposed by Hadi), caning from six strokes to 100, and the maximum jail term from three years to 20 years as opposed to Hadi’s 30 years..

The source added that the last sitting of the current parliamentary session would be extended from April 6 to April 11 to facilitate the adoption of the government’s bill.

BN is expected to hold a supreme council meeting on March 28. - fmt
